e. After having us fill out some music surveys (to better understand our taste), he took our requests and made a killer setlist for the night. He offered guidance and great suggestions for breaking up the types of music, as to not overwhelm or exhaust the guests. He still played banger after banger, though, and my wife even said she felt “held hostage” on the dance floor because the irresistible bops just kept coming! Several of our guests also made a point of telling us what a great DJ we had booked, which majorly contributed to the success of our wedding overall. On top of being a great DJ, Alex also juggled the MC responsibilities with ease and made sure everyone was engaged for our speeches, first dance, etc. I highly recommend booking Alex for your event entertainment. We front loaded our wedding and did all of our formalities in the beginning (first dance, father daughter dance, speeches and cake cutting) early in the night. If you’re looking for a dance party with minimal interruptions I highly suggest doing this. Terry executed everything PERFECTLY. It’s now three days later and we are still getting messages from our guests saying our wedding was so much fun, and that the DJ and MC killed it. They checked in with us throughout the night asking how we were doing and if we were enjoying our time. Terry also took some of our favorite videos and photos of the night. He is exceptional at his job and knows how to read the crowd and engage the perfect amount. You can feel VERY taken care of on your dance floor and during your reception with Absolute DJs.
The only downer: My husband and I had crafted a well-thought out playlist, but it took a few "begs" from me and my MOH to get the DJs to start playing it for us. Jon also did a really great job at fitting our “must-plays” of all genres into appropriate times in the evening – to ensure that the vibe and the energy didn’t drop unnecessarily.
Reddick didn’t miss a beat! The week leading up to our wedding, he called and introduced himself and made himself open to us by phone or text all week long. Any little thing we/our family had questions about, he answered and he made sure that very specific versions of songs got to Jon if it was difficult to insert them into our planning forms. He was so communicative, friendly, and fun every step of the way. The day of, he and Jon were there to help our ceremony go off without a hitch and then our reception just flowed. Also, Reddick’s non-stop dancing/dance offs with our guests?! The man has energy that just doesn’t quit!

My husband and I have pretty different music taste and absolute merged them effortlessly. The energy was through the roof at all times. Our DJ/MC, Rob was beyond incredible. From the first time we spoke to him to the end of our wedding he went above and beyond all of our expectations. Despite the range of ages at our wedding, Rob constantly had everyone on the dance floor having a great time! Even still we are receiving compliments on how awesome our DJ/MC were. Our parents were blown away by how everyone of our guests at some point were up on the dance floor enjoying themselves.
We also used Absolute Entertainment for our photobooth. The photobooth attended was nothing short of amazing. He made sure all of our guests had a blast while in the photobooth and really did an incredible job interacting and enjoying his time with our guests. He even made sure I had an extra copy of all the photos I was in and made sure they made their way to our other items so I could look back on them the next day.

Absolute Entertainment LI was part of our all included package at our venue. Back in 2019 right before the pandemic we knew from the start we wanted to use them because one person we really enjoyed the most out of the whole company was awesome....
Fast forward to 2021 we booked our wedding and immediately went over to the company to sit down and go over details such as lights, photo booth, music list etc… we dealt with Carlo and he was very accommodating and helped us with picking out a bunch of fun stuff for our wedding. The super booth was one of them and it was Amazing definitely the highlight of our wedding night. Also our photo booth attendant was a hit and a lot of fun they treated us like family. We begged Carlo to make sure Rick was our MC because he was who we absolutely loved back in 2019 and wanted to make sure he was at our wedding. They delivered! When We got the phone call that Rick was our MC we were over the moon. He had been a pleasure to deal with and totally understanding and very personable. If your using this company make sure Rick and Carlo are at your wedding because they were the highlight of ours. Regards the concern about the Lessing's "Vendor Package", please note Absolute is not a "default" option as the "Vendor Package" includes a choice of 3 different DJ Companies. The "Vendor Package" is intended to provide music & only includes a DJ for 4 hours. The Upgrade you referred to included Cocktail Hour Music & Master of Ceremonies for announcements /event management. The Cocktail Hour at your venue is in the same room as main dancefloor so the DJ staff must arrive and be fully set up prior to cocktail hour. Again, we feel terrible you were not satisfied and the Manager on the job tried reaching out to you several times to see what he could have done differently.
