Angie and Hannah made my day absolutely perfect in every way. They really show how much they care and make sure you are taken care of in every way imaginable. I cannot thank them enough for all they did and how AMAZING they are. 20/10 recommend this wonderful group!
I don't even know where to begin! Angie was such a pleasure to work with and made our wedding planning process so much easier. She went above and beyond making sure everything was in order and perfect for our day. We were able to be at our venue from Friday-Sunday and Friday my bridesmaids, family, and I were able to decorate our reception area. Angie came a little early before our rehearsal to go over everything that got done and what still needed to be done for the next day so she could take care of it. I own a dessert company and made my own cake and desserts. Angie helped set out all of the desserts after I had HMU done with me and even cut out cake for us that night. The cake was still pretty solid from it being colder in the barn, and I didn't have the sturdiest stand to cut the cake on (meant to tell her she could take the cake off of it, sorry angie!) but she did great and you could tell she had already been in that situation before because she looked like a pro and got it cut very quick! I really can't thank you enough for doing that for us. Once I was ready and about to head to the ceremony, it was just her and I and she made sure my veil was in right and there wasn't anything in my teeth/on my face lol Afterwards she helped bustle my dress which ended up being a little tough but she and my matron of honor got it done. She made sure we stayed on schedule with timing of everything and continued to check on us throughout the reception. After the reception ended, she cleaned up and organized all of our belongings for us to collect the next morning. I could still go on and on about every little thing but Angie truly made our wedding day/weekend perfect and I wish I would have gotten a chance to say bye to her before we left that night. She is such a joy to be around and so professional and welcoming. I will highly recommend her to anyone getting married and hope to see her again someday and catch up. Thank you again Angie!!
Our big day could not of been as perfect as it was if it wasn’t for AWP. Angie made the planning process so much easier. From keeping us on track to the quick responses to numerous recommendations, it was so nice to have someone who knew our venue and was able to help. Hannah was a superwoman on our big day! From setting everything up to making sure every little detail is right to making the day flows smoothly, I could have not asked for a better team. I could not recommend them enough. It is worth it!
As someone who often gets lost in the endless search for reviews, I struggled to find the perfect wedding planner. I was worried about finding someone who matched our personalities, understood our vision, and could handle my controlling nature. From our first consultation call with Angie, the founder of Absolute Wedding Perfection, I knew we had found the right fit. Angie was down-to-earth, informative, and truly grasped the aesthetic we wanted to achieve.
Throughout the planning process, Angie addressed all our concerns and questions, managing my stress with ease. She was always available and quick to respond to calls, texts, and emails. When we met Hannah, she was the cherry on top. I was in Knoxville for a hair trial, and Hannah arranged an appointment for us to look at linens. This turned out to be one of the most enjoyable parts of the planning process. Planning in person helped alleviate my anxiety, and we had a great time.
The day of the wedding, not only did Hannah and Jenna (who is equally as lovely) handle the logistics flawlessly, but they also provided emotional support throughout the day. From calming our pre-ceremony jitters to ensuring we had moments to breathe and enjoy the day, they were there every step of the way. They even anticipated needs we didn't realize we had, such as providing refreshments during our photo session and having an emergency kit ready with anything we might need.
Their dedication and hard work allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy and celebration of our wedding. We could focus on our guests and each other, knowing that Hannah and Jenna had everything under control. Our guests still rave about how smoothly everything went and how beautiful the setup was.
I cannot thank this team enough for their support throughout the entire process, especially for all the hard work on our wedding day. They made it so we did not have a care in the world and were able to focus on the most important things: celebrating our love and enjoying the moment with our loved ones. The AWP team made our wedding a breeze. Hannah was on hand to help us with final planning, and was a HERO during the day itself — I’ve never seen somebody work so hard, and have so much attention to detail. She really did make the day perfect, I’ll never forget her.
We absolutely loved Angie and the Absolute Wedding Perfection team! From the very beginning, Angie was super personable and was willing to help with every detail of the planning. She was in constant communication over text and email, and even set up phone calls to coordinate details of our day as it got closer. The week of the wedding, Angie was absolutely on it. She took care of every *little, miniscule* detail so that we got to sit back and enjoy it. I didn't worry about anything the day we got married. Hiccups? Angie got it. Schedule? I found Angie through my wedding venue, The Magnolia. She was a preferred vendor and I can absolutely see why! Angie was the reason why I didn't go crazy during wedding planning. Since I was planning a destination wedding, I had no idea where to start. Angie was my saving grace as she has years of experience and helped me every step along the way. She was also extremely fast at answering emails (which I sent her one about everyday) and took time out of her day to help me with certain things. Leading up to the wedding, I was pretty calm because I knew that with Angie as my coordinator, everything would be perfect and it was! The day of the wedding, her assistant Jenna was AMAZING! I didn't have to do a thing as she made sure the whole day went smoothly and that my fiance and I were enjoying ourselves. She kept everything on schedule and was another huge reason why the day went so smoothly! I would HIGHLY recommend AWP for your destination wedding :)
We worked with Angie for a little over a year while planning our wedding on 04/24/23 and we highly recommend her! She is so kind and down to earth. She kept the planning process low stress for us and enjoyable. During the time we worked together, she was really reliable and true to her word, which was so important to us while we planned our TN wedding from San Diego. When Angie told us she would look into or do something and get back to us, she always did. She was also very responsive to our questions. We are sort of in Angie withdrawal now and miss her sweet and upbeat e-mails. Our day-of-wedding coordinator was Hannah. Angie and Hannah are the absolute best! Angie was communicative from the start. She made a timeline, suggested vendors, and helped me think of things I would have forgotten throughout the planning process. She was always quick to respond to my questions and super helpful in figuring out what made sense for wedding day! Best thing I did for myself was chose to work with Angie/Hannah. Her Knoxville counterpart, Hannah, handled everything for the rehearsal and for wedding day. She set up everything, made sure to direct everyone appropriately, and I didn't feel like I had to do anything on my wedding day! It was flawlessly executed. I can't say enough good things and if you're considering someone, go with Absolute Wedding Perfection. You will be so happy you did!
I honestly do not know how I would've gotten through all the planning craziness without Angie. Her business is appropriately named for sure! We found her through our venue's recommended planners (The Magnolia Venue in Pigeon Forge) and goodness did she go above & beyond! She is incredibly personable, reliable, flexible, organized, and communicative. She made planning easy and enjoyable by making it a completely seamless process and evening. Whether it was helping us communicate with vendors, creating and editing our budget and timeline as needed, setting up our decor in an absolutely stunning way, picking up our linens and alcohol, or being quick to respond to every question in the process and when we needed helping putting on boutonnieres (she was there within 10 seconds of me texting her). I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and dealing with my many emails. Anyone that hires her will be extremely happy and I cannot recommend her enough!
Angie is hands down the best! Angie coordinated our ceremony and reception with zero hiccups and it made for the most enjoyable day. She was always very responsive with great information and suggestions throughout the planning process. She has done a lott of weddings in the Knoxville area and is very well connected with other vendors in the City. So much so that we received discounts from other vendors just because we were working with Angie!
Angie handled absolutely everything on the wedding day! All of our family was traveling from out of town and Angie took care of all the set-up, decorating, and breakdown of the day so we didn't have to do anything. She took the time to create a wedding schedule prior to our big day so we knew exactly what to expect and how the day would go. She helped make our wedding vision a reality! Could not recommend her higher!!

Angie is extremely experienced - which really made the wedding planning process so simple and easy. She knows a lot of vendors in the area, and was able to get us deals that we could not get on our own.
She did all of the research and presented us with 2-3 options for each vendor that fit both our preferences and budget, so all of the stress was taken out of wedding planning. She also helps create a budget at the very beginning and helps you stick to that budget. She also creates very detailed timelines and makes sure the day of goes very smoothly. My wedding day was very calm/ stress free which is all because of her.
I was engaged for two years (during Covid) and she replanned the wedding once and completely downsized it another time. Angie handled the entire thing - she basically planned 3 weddings for us. For an out-of-state procrastinator like me, Angie was an absolute lifesaver. From day one she was always immediately responsive with answers, solutions, and suggestions and never anything less than completely positive and helpful. She consistently went above and beyond even the highest expectations we had given her outstanding reviews. Let me assure you, they are all well earned! She is such a blessing and worth every penny in so many ways. Ours was a destination wedding in the Smokies so it was very important to us to have someone that was familiar with the area and with connections to good vendors since we didn't even know where to start! Angie brought all of that to the table and so much more. Everything went perfectly and the vendors she suggested were all just as impressive. Thank you, Angie, from the bottom of our hearts. Angie went above and beyond as my day-of-coordinator. She was able to help me with my whole layout and timeline before the wedding, as well as be there the whole day to make sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it to be. Even after I was gone, I heard from my family and bridal party how helpful and easy she made the clean-up process. As someone who has a very specific imagine in her head for how I wanted my wedding to go, Angie helped make it exactly what I envisioned, and allowed me to just enjoy my day. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner!!

Upon my first meeting with her, I knew I was in good hands, and I knew I could relax about the whole process of planning. Angie also recommended the BEST vendors for the big day- I truly felt like I had the dream team working together to create the perfect day. Oh my goodness, where do I start? Angie is the absolute best! She not only helped us with planning, but she gave us amazing vendor recommendations, answered every one of our questions, and let us bug her over email all the time when we needed advice on something. Even before the actual wedding day, Angie helped us make our day so special & memorable. When we left our first meeting with her, my husband and I literally breathed a sigh of relief because Angie took so many stresses away from us. I can honestly say that I did not have a worry in the world or stress on the day of my wedding and that was because of Angie. She took care of everything and it was PERFECT!! She is also one of the sweetest, most down to earth, and positive people I have ever met. Hire her for your wedding, I promise you will love her and that she is truly the best!
Angie was by far the best decision we made when planning. She was irreplaceable in all aspects leading up to the wedding and especially on the wedding day. She went above and beyond to ensure the day was all I wished for. I can not recommend her enough. So easy to work with and all the vendors, guests, and wedding party members loved her professionalism and attentiveness. The price for any planner is scary at first, but I would NOT have been able to pull of the wedding without her. Her assistance is priceless.
The absolute first step in planning your wedding is to hire Angie. When my daughter walked up and said “Thank you Mom. It’s just as I envisioned it”, it’s exactly what a mother wants to hear. The whole event went incredibly smoothly. We turned all our decor and detail lists over to Angie just before the rehearsal then she and her team made it happen. With a church ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in different locations, there were a lot of moving parts and it was perfect! Thank you Angie!!

I have been trying to write Angie's review in my head for months and I know I still won't be able to do her justice. I work in event management for a living so I assumed wedding planning would be a breeze, until I realized I know nothing about wedding vendors- who is good, who isn't so good, what is a reasonable price, etc. That is when I knew I needed some help. I can't tell you how many times during the planning process I thought to myself or said out loud "what would we have done without Angie."
Angie is a pro at her job and allowed me to enjoy the planning process and oh yea.. my wedding day. Angie is connected to the BEST vendors so I knew no matter what happened our wedding was going to be fun and successful. Angie found vendors who fit our style, super easy to work with, and best part of it all- we came in under budget!!
Angie thinks of everything so you don't have to, it was such a reassuring thought knowing that someone was thinking about our wedding when I wasn't. Angie is like "successful wedding" insurance, you are about to spend a lot of money on an event, make sure you do it right and get a pro involved.
I usually don't post reviews unless I can 100% without a doubt recommend someone and I can 100% without a doubt recommend Angie. Could I have planned my wedding without her... maybe... but would I want to...noway.
I seriously cannot say enough great things about Angie. She is kind, knowledgeable, and very communicative. I had a destination wedding and Angie made the process so much easier. She helped the day of my wedding run so smoothly. It really just let me enjoy the day. She will build a custom package for you as well and is extremely helpful with the budget. Groom here, vouching for Angie. My wife and I got married in Gatlinburg as a destination wedding, so we struggled to find and vet vendors. Angie was wonderful about funding vendors that fit us - she understood what we (or rather, my wife) had visioned for our wedding day and made it all come together. In short, other grooms, hire Angie. She'll make things easier.
One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was to hire Angie, with Absolute Wedding perfection, as my day of coordinator. I do not know how I would have done it without her and her wonderful intern, Camille! I wish I would have had more time to sit and chat with them - but they completely covered everything and made my day turn out beautifully. I honestly could not have done it without them. For anyone on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator or day of planner, you will be happy you did and if you choose Angie, you will have found the best! Thank you again, Angie and Camille!!
I hired Angie from Absolute for a day of planner for my wedding. I was nervous putting my big day in someone else's hands as I like to be in control and I had planned the wedding up until the big day.
Angie was fantastic!! Whatever I needed her to do she did and she really put me at ease on the big day. I did not have to do anything but marry my husband and soak in the excitement of the day.
I thought a day of planner was a silly idea but I sure am glad it was required at my venue or it could of been a disaster!

Y'all, Angie was absolutely AMAZING. She helped with the planning of my May 13 Chattanooga wedding while she was based in Knoxville - so semi-long distance. You never would've known she wasn't based here! I first contacted her on TheKnot - she responded almost immediately and that continued throughout our entire communicating. She responded to every email and text and phone call usually within hours, if not then definitely the next morning. She truly saw our vision and helped me have the most FUN wedding EVER. She was never over-bearing and took all of my feedback into account. Never once did I feel like she was overriding any of my wants or decisions. I've been to weddings where the planner is always at the forefront in all of the wedding pictures, but Angie was too busy making sure all of the vendors were where they were supposed to be! I really only remember seeing her a handful of times to ask quick questions - I never felt burdened or overwhelmed. My wedding day was the happiest day of my life. I didn't stress at all - just the normal nerves of getting married! She kept me hydrated and fed and kept a beer in my now husband's hand. She was not pushy in any of my decision making yet also brought great suggestions. Y'all, this lady knows what she's doing. She handled all of my vendors with ease. She made sure everyone got paid, our marriage license was taken care of, she even picked up our cakes! Single best decision I made (aside from, ya know, marrying my best friend!) was to hire Angie. She is worth every penny, and then some. Save yourself so much stress and get her to help you plan your dream wedding!!! Angie and Chaylin were amazing to work with! We chose them for our day-of coordination and the day could not have ran more perfectly. We planned our wedding from afar but Angie and Chaylin were always available in communication and gave great recommendations when looking for vendors in the area to work with. They were able to take our vision of our day and make it a reality! We could not have asked for the most perfect day and its all thanks to Angie and Chaylin :)
Angie was absolutely amazing! I was an out of town bride planning a large wedding, and I could not have done it without Angie. I would recommend her to any bride in the Knoxville area. Her fees were beyond reasonable for the services she provided.
Where to begin? Angie was phenomenal from day 1. We hired her for day-of coordination, but she was always available to answer questions along the way. She is thoughtful, always responds to emails in a timely manner, and is just a wonderful person to work with on your wedding day! She's also completely organized, and understanding of our type A personalities :) She helped make recommendations of vendors and we were so pleased with everyone she recommended - both in budget and delivery. The week of, she contacted each of our vendors and on the day-of, everything went PERFECTLY. I mean it. People always talk about one or two things that go wrong, but we were over-the-moon with happiness on our wedding day and it was just perfect. Angie was a huge part of that and we can't thank her enough. I give her the highest recommendation - even if you don't think you need a planner, having someone on the day-of is just the biggest relief. Thank you, Angie!!

Angie was, hands down, one of the best investments I've made in my happiness. Angie allowed me to enjoy not just the wedding day, but the entire wedding planning experience.
As a big planner myself, I originally tried to tackle the entire wedding myself. After receiving quotes from several companies for 3-4 of the major expenditures for the wedding, I was taken aback by the amount of money I was going to be spending with no expertise in any of these areas. Was I getting a good deal, bad deal, forgetting something, over or under ordering, working with the right vendors? That's when I found Angie. I quoted out several planners, and Angie had a great price for the offering and we really clicked when I interviewed her.
Angie made the wedding planning process a true breeze. She quoted out vendors, came with recommendations on vendors / choices / etc, kept me on budget and timeline, sent reminders when I should be doing other things and working with her was a dream. Not to mention, when I, in true bride style, decided 2 weeks before the wedding I wanted a videographer, Angie found me a wonderful vendor within days who was available and within budget.
Angie was always available whenever I needed help (including several transcontinental emails, texts, phone calls). She did a spectacular job coordinating with my vendors - my florist, photographer (whom had never met Angie before), and caterer brought up to me how much they loved Angie's streamlined format and constant communication. They said it allowed them to completely leave me alone! Until that statement, I didn't realize Angie was even talking to them regularly. Point blank, Angie got things done I didn't even know needed to happen.
I had a lot of friends get married and they complained non-stop about planning after a couple months. I had a blast wedding "planning," more like wedding decision making, due 100% to Angie's communication, organization, and industry competence.

All I can say is, Angie is amazing! I am the mother of the bride and consider myself a pretty organized person and wondered if we really needed a wedding planner. I was totally wrong! Angie took care of things I hadn't even thought of. She went over and beyond with efficiency and skill, making sure every little detail was carried out. Everything I asked she handled with a smile and professionalism. She truly helped to make my daughter's dream wedding come true. I would not hesitate to recommend her to future brides. Angie is amazing. We planned our whole wedding from New York and she made sure every detail was covered. I highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the East Tennessee area. Our whole day was perfect and I honestly believe it was because of the hard work Angie put into everything. She works with great vendors and we received many compliments on everything. Angie is the best money that we spent on our wedding, hands down. We hired her to be our day-of coordinator for the wedding and reception, and she knocked it out of the park. We didn't worry about a thing the entire day, and everything was set up exactly how we envisioned it. She made sure everyone knew their cues (band, bar, toasts, etc.) and kept everything moving perfectly smooth overall. The best thing was she built a plate for my husband and I so we could actually sit down and eat during the reception - that was huge.

Angie is fantastic! By the time, we met Angie we already had a church coordinator. However, the coordinator refused to do our reception. We hired Angie to set up, run, and tear down our reception. Looking back, my mom has stated many times that she wished she had hired her to plan our entire wedding! Angie goes above and beyond. I never actually met Angie until the day of my wedding. We only talked through phone and email. However, she had our reception set up exactly the way I envisioned it. Angie contacted every vendor for me to make sure everyone was on the same page. She made sure the reception went smoothly. She even packed up the food and decorations and had it all taken to our condo. Weather affected our sparkler sendoff, but Angie found a way to make it happen to where the rain did not affect anyone. Angie also made an extremely detailed timeline for the day, that even included everything that was to take place at the church. I received so many compliments from my vendors about the timeline because it did not leave anything to question. I honestly cannot say enough great things about her!

I already knew many of the vendors I wanted to use, so I hired Angie to help direct the Rehearsal and the Day of the Wedding. Angie was very willing to meet with me whenever I wanted and she put together a very helpful timeline.She did a great job directing the rehearsal and wedding. Everything flowed as smoothly as possible ! I would not want to get married without at least a day of wedding director.

I recently got married at Butterfly Gap Retreat in Maryville, TN and I hired Angie as my planner after interviewing at least three other planners in Knoxville.
