Faith was very energetic and connected to the guests, she kept the dance floor busy by playing music tailored to the crowd. Faith gave us a call a few days before our wedding reception to talk through the information we submitted via the Adagio website and offered some great suggestions on how we could keep our event flowing smoothly given the number of customized requests we had, she was very willing to accommodate our requests without hesitation. He was very open to our ideas, and when we were unsure about something, he gave great advise. As for the music, we didn't give him much direction. We had a handful of songs on our 'play if you can' playlist, but we left the rest up to him. The dancefloor was never empty. Berndt has an amazing talent for reading the room and adapting the music to the crowd throughout the night. Otherwise, working with Adagio was a seamless process, and we could not ask for more. We had asked about some other services, such as videography and lighting, but they sold out for our wedding date. The only unclear aspect of their services is that dance floor lighting is provided as a part of their typical services, and lighting provided was perfect for the space.

On our wedding day, our ceremony was delayed by about a half-hour, but Joel was able to easily adapt and continued to play beautiful music during the pre-ceremony time. He hit all of the transitions perfectly during the processional and recessional, and was able to get the music during the cocktail up and running in no time.
The music on the dance floor was perfect as well. He managed to tailor the music to those on the dance floor masterfully and was able to maximize those on the dance floor until the reception ended.
From the beginning of the day until we wrapped up, Joel was a great communicator. He gave us notice whenever he was about to announce toasts were upcoming, when special dances were, and even found one of us when a guest requested a song that was on our "Do Not Play" list to see if we were willing to make an exception.
