t was the defining characteristic of the lead-up to our guests arriving, Adam approached every worry and complication with the calm, confident ease of a consummate professional. His manner of speaking and connecting with us went beyond the necessities of a client/vendor relationship—we felt cared for, protected, and made to feel our best so we would look our best. And look our best we did! Thanks to Adam's resourcefulness, we were able to take the most advantage of magic hour as he positioned us in just the right places to let the images of our first look play with the crepuscular light. As November night fell upon the venue, Adam quickly pivoted the strategy for how we would get our remaining family portraits in, while still being able to imbue it with the warmth that he was so receptive to making happen in our prep calls. Ultimately, the next day, my wife and I woke up and made an informal list of our MVP vendors (as one does), and Adam came out of the top of that list. A gifted photographer who truly loves what he does, Adam will be getting a call from us every time our lives together need documentation henceforth. We hope to see him several more times in the coming years; we know you'll feel the same!

t posed photos or perfect lighting or strict timelines. On the day of, Adam fully lived up to that. He was incredibly calm and good natured and never got flustered, even when we did. He arrived perfectly on time and was ready to hit the ground running after just a few minutes. He started by giving us some great guidance about how to capture the best shots, delivering all sorts of advice and suggestions in a clear but laid back way. He emphasized the importance of us being natural together for our couple photos, and worked hard throughout the day to make sure we felt at ease with him and with each other. He was also an absolute pro with our families and friends. He easily corralled our family for group photos and was able to quickly move through the long list of shots we wanted. He was also flexible and accommodating, happy to add to our list of photos on the fly. During the ceremony, Adam was so smooth that we nearly forgot he was there, yet he still made sure to get all the shots we needed. Similarly, at the cocktail hour, he was extremely prolific, splitting his time between getting photos of large unruly groups of cousins and college friends, and milling around the party grabbing candids of folks chatting at the bar, eating appetizers, and goofing around. Finally, the reception. From the looks of the photos we’ve seen so far, Adam was everywhere! He was always within reach when we wanted him, but somehow still made his presence scarce. He bobbed and weaved around our family as we did a first dance with all of our parents and siblings, capturing that all important, once in a lifetime moment. Later in the night, he made use of a professional light to get higher quality dance floor photos. For couples who want to make sure they capture all the key moments, but also want someone who won't make the wedding only about the photos, Adam is your guy. He’s relaxed but in control, and an excellent communicator. He’s also a truly lovely wedding guest – we genuinely enjoyed hanging out with him! Highly recommend to any and all for their big day.

in love with how they turned out. We appreciate his professionalism and ability to capture all the moments of the day. We bonded over our love for ice cream between photos and learned what a blackbird sounds like. He kept us on track with our timeline yet we never felt rushed. When something came up unexpected at the end of the night, Adam and Michelle were flexible and stayed later than planned, which we are extremely grateful for. interact with Adam (and Michelle). On the wedding day, Adam continued to be awesome. For us, talking to Adam felt like talking to an old friend, someone relatable and whom we love to hang out with. His photography skill is excellent- kept it super efficient and fun and covered so much at the same time. Our guests raved about Adam too! He is humble and appreciative throughout our wedding day- we are grateful to have him as our photographer. We just received our wedding photos and love them! We truly adore Adam as a photographer and a friend.

He was particularly helpful with planning the timeline of the wedding day (i.e. when to arrive at the venue for photos, when to do the first look, etc.) - I was grateful to have help with this! Most importantly - he helped me and my husband feel comfortable taking photos. I am very shy and feel awkward in front of a camera - Adam and Michelle were so friendly and joked around with us to help us feel comfortable. The result was amazing - our engagement and wedding photos were beautiful, and we looked so natural and relaxed. Adam really captured the spirit and romance of our wedding day. There were so many incredible candids of us, our bridal party and family, and our guests. If you are looking for soft, romantic, natural wedding and engagement photos, with someone who is both professional and fun to work with - I definitely recommend Adam!

e professional with such a warm and comfortable presence. Any nerves or uncertainties we had disappeared instantly as Adam assured us that being ourselves was exactly what he wanted to capture. The end result is nothing short of perfect; Adam managed to capture both the candid, posed and perfectly imperfect moments, and put together a package of pictures that is going to make it nearly impossible to choose just a few from. I cannot recommend Adam enough. As I've said at least a hundred times to everyone I know at this point: the man is a magician with a camera.

he types of shots and general look we were hoping for (I'm sure we weren't the easiest to work with!), and Adam totally nailed it — the final results were even better than we had imagined. Beyond the quality of his work, Adam went above and beyond to be accommodating and easy to work with. He was friendly and fun to work with at every interaction, and his skill and experience put us at ease and made the photography portion one of the highlights of our wedding. found Adam & Michelle, who were cool with complimenting their approach to us and striking a perfect balance of loose posing and plenty of candids. Other photographers we met with literally laughed in our face when we said we'd like to enjoy 'some' of our cocktail hour and another insisted if we didn't do a first look, we were setting ourselves up for failure...welp with Adam and Michelle we did get to enjoy some of our cocktail hour and they got incredible shots of us during the ceremony. All of this not mentioning that we had to reschedule our wedding due to covid, and they were extremely thoughtful and accommodating through that process.

to Adam, he was responsive and empathic towards our dilemma. He shared some samples of his work and I was completely blown away by how beautiful his work was. We re-did the engagement shoot with him and the photos were absolutely incredible! He put us at ease the whole time, kept us laughing and conversing, and captured our love perfectly. For the first time I felt secure that our wedding photos would be amazing -- and they were. We just got our wedding photos back and they were so beautiful that I was in tears looking at them. Adam is well worth the $, especially for something as important as a wedding. I'm so grateful that I will forever have these beautiful pictures to look back at this special day.

for picking out beautiful backgrounds, and provided a mix of close up, backgrounds shots, and black/white shots, giving us plenty of variety to choose from. I have never enjoyed looking at pictures of myself, and he managed to truly capture my and my fiance's happiness and love. He was a pleasure to be around, keeping conversation going and making jokes throughout. We had such a great experience with Adam. 10/10!

He and his assistant did a wonderful job of capturing those special moments and candids that truly show the emotion of the day. On the day before the wedding when a beloved family member fell ill and was unable to attend, Adam and his team jumped into high gear, changing plans and doing everything in their power to include him from afar. ig day. When they sent over the photos for us to browse after the wedding we were simply awe-struck. The photos were gorgeous, unique, and totally captured the essence of us, and the day. I recommend Adam Ciccarino Photography without hesitation - especially if you want to avoid cookie cutter wedding photos for something far more special and timeless.

ly considering it wasn't a standard request. Day-of, he arrived on time and with an easy demeanor that made me and everyone else more than comfortable. The portrait portion of the day was just for me and my husband. I couldn't be more thrilled with the pictures. He has a way of capturing moments that look spontaneous and natural and never heavily posed or directed. The event portion was a very casual atmosphere with a large group of our friends and family. Adam struck the perfect balance between capturing moments without being invasive, but also being friendly and involved. Everyone who did have the opportunity to meet and talk to him assumed he was just one of our friends who happened to be a very talented photographer. Then finally, we received a full, edited gallery of all our photos within a couple weeks of the event. I've probably flipped through all the photos a hundred times, I love them so much. As a side note, this was not for a wedding. We made the mistake of going through an agency for our wedding and I vowed to never do this again when hiring a photographer. Working directly with Adam fully confirmed my suspicion that this is the better option, for both client and photographer. Communication was smoother, the process was more personal, and everything from scheduling to receiving our photos happened more quickly and with better quality. If I could do it over, I would hire Adam for my wedding in a second, and I plan to work with him for any other shoots that he is willing and able to do in the future (check out the lifestyle section of his website, so cool, I can't wait to do one!).

eel comfortable and like we were working with our best friend (plus..his work is STUNNING!). Neither of us had been the subject of a photoshoot prior to doing out engagement shoot with Adam and, understandably, we were both a little nervous about it. Adam really made us feel at ease and helped with teaching us poses that (felt a little awkward but) looked great in the final images..poses that we would practice and later use for our wedding photos. He also had great vision for the lighting and background, and captured exactly the look we were going for. We got our final photos back from him in about a week (so fast), and they just made us even more excited for our wedding photos! To this day, they're still some of our favorite shots. If our engagement shoot was great, our wedding was downright fantastic! Adam's personality and vibe made it really easy to take great getting-ready shots with him during those tense moments leading up to the big event. During our ceremony, he did an amazing job of capturing both our emotions and the emotions of all of our friends and family sitting in the aisles. Who knew candid group shots could be so dynamic and fun?! He then helped us to take photos with each other and our bridal party quickly so we could get back to the fun. Adam basically became a guest at our wedding during the reception, because everyone there just loved him! This made it so easy for him to get the natural party shots that we wanted. And he seemed to always be exactly where we needed him to be for the big moments (signing the certificate, cutting the cake, special dances, etc) without us needing to pause to look for him. He got every shot we wanted, and then some!! And none of this even talks about the photos themselves! We LOVE them! They're the perfect balance of modern and timeless. They're unique and different, but we know we're still going to love the style in 30 years. We literally received thousands of photos from Adam, and there is not a single one that we don't love. It took a few weeks to get these back (although we received a few teasers in the meantime) and they were absolutely worth the wait! We also purchased an album through Adam. It's beautiful, high-quality, and nothing like what we were expecting (in a great way!). The album was a tiny bit pricey...but we're glad we sprung for it! In short..we would ABSOLUTELY recommend working with Adam! He was great, he got us, and our photos are amazing! I've heard so many wedding-photographer-horror-stories, and Adam was so far from that! We're now expecting our first baby..and planning to work with Adam again for some maternity photos! He's quickly becoming our family tradition!

work with. Despite the weather limiting our space and changing our plans on our wedding day, Adam had a very organized approach to everything and a calming presence that made me happy he was there. He was there when I expected him, and he blended into the background and got great shots without being overbearing (especially during the ceremony). Overall, I recommend him as a photographer, he will make you feel comfortable and walk you through some tips on how to look natural in your photos. Family members even told us our engagement shoot looked like it was straight out of an Anthropologie magazine. Now that's a compliment!
