Wow, wow, wow!! I don't know enough nice things to say about Alea Beauty. They are the most wonderful team of women and all extremely talented. From my bridal trial with Rachel, to the day of the wedding, every little detail was perfect. We had the pleasure of working with Rachel, Casey, and Natalie the day of the wedding and wow, did these women deliver! My bridesmaids told me they have never felt more beautiful after working with these women and each of them were glowing all day. Personally, as the bride, I was brought to tears with the wonderful job Rachel did on my hair and makeup. All three women were kind and comforting and made the morning of my wedding unforgettable! Can't thank this team enough!

We worked with Alea for one of our Columbus brides and I can not say enough amazing things about the team! They were flexible when we had some last minute changes (as a planner I am so grateful for this), they were able to accommodate a rehearsal look for my bride and from my perspective, kept everyone on time and CALM during a wedding day. Wow, we were so beyond impressed with Alea Beauty. In the planning process, hair and make up was our last vendor on the to do list. As two brides with a small wedding party, we knew we wanted a company that was inclusive and accepting. Our photographer told us about Alea Beauty. From the first set of communication to make up trials to the day of, we were so happy we chose them. We couldn’t be happier that we chose Alea Beauty to be a part of our special day. The wedding was an absolute dream and we owe so much of that to Jessica and Rachel making us look and feel incredible. The two of them were so easy to talk to and provided such a calm presence during a very hectic day. They were the perfect people for us and our bridal party members. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted and that we felt comfortable for a long (and fun) night ahead. Rachel is fantastic! She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and my wedding! She did an amazing job making me feel confident and beautiful. She was able to come up with a look I had in my head and it turned out great. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Leigh Ann did an incredible job making me and my girls look their best! After having my makeup trial I realized I had some things about the look I wanted to adjust, I gave Leigh Ann my feedback and on my wedding she made the tweaks and it all came out perfectly. The Alea team was so helpful throughout this whole process and everyone looked so good day of!

Rachel with Alea Beauty was amazing. She is an excellent hair stylist and did a great job on the hair of all my bridal party and myself. She is professional but also helped make our morning getting ready so much fun. She stayed as long as we needed her and never made anyone feel rushed. I would recommend her to anyone! One thing to note with Alea Beauty as a company is that they are not very flexible after you sign the contract (I had one less person getting hair done than I initially thought and they would not provide any kind of refund for this) so just make sure you have your final count before you sign it!

I cannot say enough good things about Alea Beauty! From the moment you book, they are transparent, accomadting and communicative with everything about your day. And they’re so beyond professional. The portal was amazing to book through and to easily see all the services that I had selected. They were so easy to talk with if I had to make changes. Ok so now I’m going to gush about Leigh Ann, my artist. She was incredible. She was fun and approachable and incredibly talented. I actually went for a second hair trial when I decided I wanted to go a different direction and she was so accommodating. She made me feel comfortable and that I could share my opinion without getting defensive or offended! It created such a wonderful collaborative relationship that resulted in a perfect look! The whole team that showed up for my day (4 artists in total) were all amazing. I loved that they had an elevated natural vibe for the makeup. All of my girls and the moms looked stunning, but still like themselves. They were prompt and got us all done a little early which was a huge stress relief! I promise booking Alea is worth it. From the end product to professionalism and everything in between, they were a vendor I immediately trusted and would not hesitate to recommend.

Working with Alea Beauty was amazing! They were super responsive with questions, and Alli and Alyssa made myself and my bridesmaids feel and look amazing! Not to mention they were just fun to be around :) Thank you Alea team!

Carla and her team were absolutely amazing throughout all of my wedding planning! Between my engagement party and my rehearsal dinner trials, to the big day, everything was perfect. Alea beauty went above and beyond and were so responsive when I had questions, and my wedding day hair and makeup lasted all day through the tears and the dance floor! Carla also helped me order my halo extensions which made all the difference in making my dream wedding look come to life. I couldn’t be happier and all of my bridesmaids raves about their services as well!

I booked 8 months ahead. I was told I needed to wait till a few weeks before my wedding date for trial so weather/skin would be similar on my wedding day. It was known I was traveling from out of state( 5hr drive). 1 hour before my apt it was canceled due to artist being sick. This left me not many options to book due to work restrictions. They offered a full refund. I agreed on 9/5/23. A month later I am still waiting for my refund. I am sure they do great work but customer service is not great with follow through.

Casey absolutely nailed my wedding day makeup. I felt like myself, but so bridal and elegant. Alyssa perfected my hair and it lasted all night, even with my cathedral length veil! I can’t recommend them enough. They were on time, efficient, and so easy to worth with!!! 10/10

I am so glad I chose Alea Beauty to do my hair & makeup for my wedding!! Carla and Paige were wonderful to work with and were so fun. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! We ended up having thunderstorms and being very humid on my wedding day, and our wedding was mostly outside, under a pavilion without siding. My hair and makeup held up ALL DAY AND NIGHT against the weather - my venue coordinator was so impressed she said she'd never seen anyone's hair and makeup last through this kind of weather like mine did! 10/10!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Alea beauty from the amazing spray tans by Leigh-Ann, to my amazing hairstylist Rachel! Rachel and her partner did an amazing job helping us to look and feel beautiful on my big day. They fit right in with my bridesmaids and was laughing and joking right along with us. I would highly recommend Alea beauty and booking with Rachel! I promise you won’t regret it!

Leigh Ann, Rachel, and Alli were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They worked around my erratic medical residency schedule to coordinate our planning sessions. We had a very large party of 12 wedding party members + 2 moms + myself. They arrived in a timely manner despite our airbnb being an hour north of Columbus down a difficult to find dirt road. They put me and my party at ease during our morning and did an amazing job. I was unable to do a trial session because I live out of state, but I had nothing to worry about. Other makeup artists have had difficulty matching my pale complexion, but Leigh Ann’s makeup was perfectly blended for the natural look I had envisioned. Rachel also did a great job walking through any concerns or insecurities I may have had prior to and the day-of to ensure I was happy with my final look. ~Stephanie

If I could give Carla 10 stars I would. It took me a long time to find a vendor since I'm a perfectionist. When I spoke to Carla on the phone, I knew she was the right fit. She asked me what I wanted, looked at pictures, and explained how I would feel with those looks and what they would entail (e.g. will it feel like a lot of make up, will I need hair extensions, etc). After speaking with her, I felt at ease. The preview was a fabulous experience. She was patient, kind, and calm. The few times I asked if she could change something, I realized what she did originally was perfect. She knows what she's doing! The wedding day was perfect. It's so important to choose someone whose energy and personality align with yours, since you will spend half a day with your hair and makeup artist(s). She gave me a cute bag with all the necessary touch up essentials, but I barely needed them! Carla is a master at what she does. I couldn't be happier!

I had an awesome experience with Carla from Alea Beauty as my wedding makeup artist. Carla's professionalism and encouraging attitude made me feel beautiful and confident on my big day. I especially appreciated the emphasis on natural beauty. The booking process and communications were quick, easy, and transparent. Would definitely recommend Alea!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Alea Beauty! As someone who really does not wear much makeup or bother to do my hair most days, my top hair/makeup priority on my wedding day was to still look like myself. Enter Alea's "you but elevated" ethos. Communicating and booking was seamless - it was so easy to choose the right package for us. Leigh Ann was amazing in my preview session, and even gave my groom a tutorial on how to properly place my veil (as part of a religious pre-ceremony ritual). On wedding day, Leigh Ann and Natalie provided hair and makeup for two bridesmaids, the mother of the bride (who has never been happy after anyone has touched her hair... ever!) and me, the bride. They handled themselves with warm professionalism and were clearly extremely experienced, knowledgeable and, yet, speedy! They matched and embraced our overall getting ready vibe while diligently performing their tasks with skill. They adapted easily to the surroundings and came extremely well prepared. They listened to each person's wishes and flawlessly made them come true. They were truly an asset to the day. Thank you, Alea Beauty!

I had Carla as my makeup and hair artist this past weekend for my wedding, and I can NOT say enough how wonderful she was. Not only did I look incredible all evening, but she taught me how to better care for my hair and skin during our preview sessions together. She was organized, timely, kind, and so so knowledgeable. Even my husband got a little makeup and hair done and was so impressed!

It was so great working with Alea Beauty! As someone who is not typically a "makeup person" or who has her hair done regularly, I was skeptical and nervous about the whole process. However, from the first 5 minutes of my trial, I knew it was going to be better than just okay. Denise made me feel completely at ease, listened to what I wanted, and asked for my feedback every step of the way. At the end, I was super excited at how it all turned out. On the big day, Denise and Taylor were wonderful and made me and all my bridesmaids feel totally at-ease and calm. I was particularly thankful for Denise's flexibility when she learned that both me and my mom had gotten new inspiration for our hairstyles at the last minute. She made an easy transition from what we practiced at the trial and it came out exactly as I had envisioned it would. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Alea Beauty was such a fantastic choice for my wedding day. Sam and Katie were wonderful - so personable, laid back, and of course great with hair and makeup. For someone who wears pretty minimal makeup, this was a great choice. Sam and Katie made me feel like an elevated version of myself but made sure I still felt comfortable and looked how I wanted to. We had a great time getting ready and all appreciated their efficiency and professionalism (we even ended up running ahead of schedule!). Leading up to the wedding, Natalie was incredibly communicative and responsive - making it a smooth and easy process to coordinate for the day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has an upcoming event!

Omg Rachel was such a blessing!!!! My hair was absolutely PERFECT!!!! I can’t believe how amazing it turned out! I told Rachel my vision and she absolutely delivered!!! She was such an angel and was so much fun! It honestly felt like she was apart of the wedding party!!! She was so caring and fun! You can tell she has a true passion for bridal hair and knows what she is doing! We all loved her!!!! I would recommend her to everyone!!!

I just got married and Alea Beauty was one of the best decisions I made when choosing vendors! 12/10 would recommend to anyone that I can! I was so nervous to find a beauty vendor for my wedding and I wasn't getting good responses or pricing; let me just say, having those items listed clearly upon inquiry or on site are what gets you 75% of my attention for business. They have a very user friendly online portal and your main contact would be with Carla as she coordinates everything else behind the scenes. When I first had my phone meeting to gain more information, Carla sold me within the 1st 5 mins, it was just a matter of confirming the pricing seen on their brochure and that they could accommodate my party size within the allotted time. After that meeting I could not wait to lock them down as my vendor! My beauty techs assigned to me were Rachel & Alli and could not have been more pleased with both my bridal trials and wedding day. Both Rachel and Alli are super sweet, down to earth and very well versed in their trades. I met Rachel for my Hair Trial first and we could not stop talking. She put me at ease and was very easy to open up to, I showed her my inspiration and left the rest to her. Toward the end of the trial, it was (what I felt was) an exact replica of what I asked for. By the time my Makeup Trail came around, Alli was very clear to ask about any allergies and what I typically do for my makeup routines. Outside of me mentioning my sensitive skin and not doing a lot of make up or wearing makeup regularly to Carla, I feel Alli would ask those questions of anyone. She is a well-versed esthetician and stays up to date on trying to use as many natural products that do that job it needs to do. Pardon if I don't explain that right, but as she knows, "I don't do make up" but I am trying to and also trying to better my skin care regimen. She replicated my look to exactly what I wanted based my inspiration and the fact that I said "I want simple glam". She nailed it; it was such an elevated look and nothing felt cakey and my skin was the softest it had been in days! After the trial, she was also open to sharing the links to the products she used on me so add to my skin care regimen as I told her I was struggling with red and dry skin; what a game changer! Both artists did say they were open to any last minute changes on looks, not that I needed or wanted anything major, but I loved and appreciated how open and accommodating they were. On the wedding day, they managed their time super wisely and even coordinated with the photographer for some "in action shots"! Will definitely share those with Alea the moment I have my portraits. Everything went seamlessly and, in my opinion, honestly didn't feel like another "job" to them. I have had previous experiences in other bridal parties where I tell the technician I trust their judgment because it is better than literally anything I could attempt to do and I would get told, "oh you don't have the right look or hair" as if to manage my expectations even though I know that I don't look exactly like the model photo, but not Alli or Rachel with Alea! They were open to the challenge and excited to get the looks that the girls and I were going for. So glad I found them. Long story short, go with Alea! They've got it all and their pricing is very reasonable; well worth the experience that they provide. <3

All the artists we worked with were very professional and friendly and worked efficiently - we were all ready with plenty of time to relax before the wedding. Everyone's hair and make up stayed in place the whole day despite tears and lots of dancing at the wedding.

The hair and makeup artists from Alea Beauty were very skilled and very professional. My bridesmaids and I rarely wear makeup, so their expertise was much appreciated. The artists pulled off a natural, romantic look for all of us so perfectly. They worked fast and the outcomes were spectacular! Thanks, Sam and Christina!!!

We loved working with Alea Beauty for our wedding! Carla was extremely helpful as we figured out our getting ready timeline. My partner and I had a morning wedding, and the whole team arrived very early (6 am!) to get us started on our day. Our stylist Rachel, in addition to being a hair/makeup genius, was an excellent listener and gave us exactly what we asked for. I'm not someone who wears a lot of makeup, and she made me feel very comfortable and helped me to find a gorgeous natural look for my wedding. I loved the way that I looked, and my hair and makeup stayed intact all day. I would recommend Alea to anyone, but for queer couples in particular: Alea is the real deal. My spouse and I live in San Francisco and had mixed experiences with vendors while planning our queer wedding in Columbus. Everyone at Alea was wonderful to us. They used our correct pronouns, there was no pressure to change our gender presentations for our wedding day - they made us look like more elegant versions of ourselves. A wonderful experience all around - highly, highly recommend!

Let me first say that we all looked STUNNING. The team brought in for our day were efficient and helped us all feel effortlessly beautiful. The booking process for Alea was super organized and efficient - loved the portal and platform for communication and payment. The packages were creative and competitively priced for the amount of talent the team brings. Alea is a group of artists so you may not know who your stylist will be until closer to the wedding date. We did run into some scheduling and availability challenges the week of the wedding due to personal events on the Alea team, but with additional communication, the team heard my concerns and made sure we were super prepared for wedding day. Samantha DeAngelo was a true stand out - so calming, talented, adaptive, and sweet!

Carla and her team were so great to work with. Leigh Ann ( lead hair) and Sharon (lead makeup) worked extensively with me even while I was out of town. They were so flexible with some travel mishaps. It was so nice to have an "all encompassing" hair and makeup company on the day of for my large bridal party. They were calming, professional, and so pleasant early in the morning. They were also incredibly talented. My bridesmaids were so pleased with their looks, and everyone looked like themselves (which was so important to me). Would highly recommend them!

I got an allergy patch test a few months before my wedding due to some years long mystery reactions. It turned out I was allergic to *5* ingredients, severely limiting my hair and makeup product options. Carla was incredible and patient. She asked questions and worked with my limited list of “safe” products from the doctor to create a natural and pretty look that felt like me and read beautifully in the professional photos, despite not being able to do false lashes. Great experience. (Everyone in the party loved their looks, too.)

The stylists were amazing. They were on time, listened to what each girl wanted and were fun to be around. They stayed until the end to make sure that everyone's hair was still in place after dresses were on and the bride's veil was in place. I would highly recommend them.

Alea Beauty was so easy to work with! Carla, Sky, and Heidi were all amazing and all very professional. Everything went smoothly and I never once felt like I was stressed out about the process. Carla and Christina with Alea Beauty are simply AMAZING! They are incredibly efficient with their time, expertly responsive and kind, and just absolutely talented at what they do. Not only did we finish early and look incredible, but our hair and makeup lasted ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG without budge (& without insane amounts of hairspray or makeup). They were experts in natural beauty and making sure you're happy, confident, and comfortable with how you look and feel for the day. Carla was so invested in making the girls look perfect! She listened to what they wanted and gave them exactly the style that they requested. My hair and makeup was so perfect and went way beyond my expectation. My daughter looked like a princess and our look lasted the entire day and evening.

I loved her easy online booking platform and how everything was super clear and upfront. I also loved that they are super inclusive and asked for our pronouns. Although, I am not personally lgbtq+, I have family members who are so this was very important to me. I also loved that they offer men's grooming services and were able to help my hubby cover his acne on the day! Leigh Ann was my wedding day stylist and was fantastic. She listened and was able to make changes to make sure I was happy with the final result. All of the stylists on the day were prompt and friendly and my whole bridal party looked amazing. Rachel in Columbus at Alea Beauty is amazing! My first hair trial with the company wasn’t the best, however they recommended I try Rachel and she really put all my worries to rest! I could not be happier that I found Alea Beauty to work with on my wedding day. I was a bit late to booking hair and makeup services, and Alea was so accommodating and flexible. The portal that Carla communicates through is easy to use and helps keep everything organized. She was responsive and helpful throughout the booking process, and even accommodated a few last-minute requests without issue. Day of, the women who did our hair and makeup were amazing to work with. Rachel, who handled my own hair and makeup, made me feel special, provided me with exactly what I was looking for, and even reminded me to eat my lunch and drink my mimosa throughout the process! My bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law were all SO thrilled with their hair and makeup, which is a rare find in my experience. Reasonably priced, professional, and very talented. I can't recommend them enough!

Carla and team were so wonderful to work with leading up to and on the day of my wedding! I loved the quick communication and easy to use site for everything from scheduling to payment. They accommodated the couple changes in time and services without hesitation along the way. My hair, makeup, and spray tan (yes, they do all of that!) was just perfect. Loved Alea Beauty! They were so wonderful to work with, responsive and knowledgeable and super helpful with all of my questions. I felt beautiful on my wedding day. My makeup and hair were even better than I had pictured!

I went with Alea Beauty for three reasons: (1) onsite services, (2) fair prices with a reasonable booking minimum (believe it was $600), and (3) loved their style from the pictures. The platform Carla uses for the information packet/contract/payments is extremely helpful & organized. It was hard to find someone to do both hair & makeup, and someone who doesn't require 5+ people for both. I had a small bridal party (2 ppl), as well as my mom and mother of the groom, so the minimum booking amt was easy to meet for my group size. Highly recommend doing a trial beforehand (although I don't think the hair trial was taken as 'seriously' as it would have been if it were the real day). That said, I requested some changes to my updo after the trial, and my stylist definitely took that into account on wedding day to make sure I was happy.

Carla is an amazing artist and only hires the best ladies to help her on her team! I had a great time at my preview session and made modifications to my look based on discussing my vision with Carla. I felt stunning on my wedding day and my entire bridal party looked like a team of natural models! The MOST impressive aspect was the day after the wedding - I'd obviously taken all my makeup off the night prior, but the day after my wedding my skin felt the softest and smoothest it has EVER felt in my life!! Carla was kind enough to share the skin care product information with me that she'd used and I can't wait to buy the great products she had so that my skin can feel as good as she showed me!

Carla and her talented crew were extremely accommodating in terms of our tight timeline and the number of ladies in our party. She even worked in another bridesmaid who wasn't originally included in our contract. The bride, 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers had hair and make-up. Everyone loved the end results! I HIGHLY recommend Alea Beauty for both hair and make-up.

Carla was amazing! She came to my house for the hair trial and was so open and flexible when I ended up having her change my hair three times. On our wedding day, she was cool, calm and collected and made my hair appointment so much fun. I LOVED my up-do and it stayed super well the whole day! I found Carla from Alea Beauty online. After reading all her credentials and experiences, I immediately booked her for my wedding make up, hair styling and make up a trial. My trial make up was a day before my wedding and decided to go for a smokier eye look. Carla did a fantastic job but after the day, I decided I wanted a more natural look for my day wedding. She totally understood my request and I absolutely love my make up and how my hair look. My husband complemented my look too. Carla is very professional, experienced and awesome! She’s the person you want to do your hair and make up on the most important day of your life!

Carla was so wonderful. I changed plans at least 5 times due to Covid and she was always flexible and gracious. She made all of the planning very easy, answered every question I had quickly, and most importantly, made me and my family feel so beautiful. She made my hair dreams come true- I wish I could wear the intricate twisted braid she made for me every day. My makeup looked glamorous without feeling overdone or like I didn't look like myself. I had read all of the positive reviews before contacting her, so I anticipated that she would be wonderful, and she still surpassed my expectations!

Carla was great! She was always on time and very professional. I ended up needing to postpone my wedding and had a small ceremony, and Carla was very flexible and helpful throughout the process. I loved my hair and make up and got TONS of compliments. I would highly recommend her!!

Carla and her team were amazing! We had to change our original wedding plan due to COVID-19 and they were flexible and understanding about all of it! We had 8 women, 1 guy, and 1 flower girl get their hair and makeup done and they had us done early, with everyone feeling beautiful and happy with their looks! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking, and will be using them again. One of my bridesmaids even booked them for her wedding next year!

I highly recommend Alea Beauty! Carla was fantastic from my initial phone call to the wedding day. She was responsive to all my questions and emails, often answering within 30 minutes or less. As a Covid bride, I had several changes to the original plan and Carla was quick to make adjustments and "go with the flow". She took the time to understand my vision and executed it flawlessly. She made me feel like a rockstar the day of the wedding. Natalie and Bailey assisted the day of the wedding with hair and makeup for some wedding guests and my matron of honor. They also did a wonderful job! 5+ star looks for everyone.

Carla is absolutely amazing at what she does! After simply glancing at an inspiration photo I brought, she was able to make my hair look exactly like the photo and beyond! Carla was patient and willing to make adjustments. She did both my bridal and engagement hair, and I would love to use her again for special events in the future. She and her assistant Natalie did a great job on my bridesmaids' hair, as well. They made sure we all felt special and beautiful on my wedding day.

Carla was wonderful to work with! After I left the first time not loving my makeup she did it again and it was PERFECT. I am not a person who wears makeup so I had a hard time conveying what I wanted so I am even more impressed she nailed it. When she did our hair and makeup for the wedding day her and the other girls fit right in and it felt like we were all long time friends. They also didn't mind my daughter was a little too close at times trying to see everything they did.

OK, being a COVID bride was super stressful, but Alea Beauty was so kind and accommodating and I felt like Carla really cared since she herself is also a COVID bride! She was super helpful and understanding when we had to postpone not once, but twice! Although she was not personally available for our final date, she assured us that we were in good hands with her other artists. Makayla worked with me and was fantastic! I felt so beautiful and relaxed on my wedding day and Makayla was just like one of the gals. It was a blast! I would highly recommend using them for your wedding! Throughout the whole process I truly felt taken care of.

Carla was a dream to work with! She was super flexible, and just the sweetest. I’m not a huge makeup person, but I certainly wanted to feel special on my big day. During our test run, she listened to me and helped with my vision. She gave me makeup advice for daily wear, and told me how I could get my skin wedding-ready in the weeks leading up to the wedding. End result was a natural look with a pop of fancy ;) Just what I wanted without even realizing it. She was so much fun. Carla really is the best ever! She has done my makeup a couple of times for modeling shoots, I only wish I had found her before my wedding. I have really (I mean REALLY) naturally dark circles under my eyes and not only did she listen to my concerns about covering them up but she worked some serious magic. I had a full face of natural looking makeup that stayed on and didn’t crease during my entire shoot (in 100 degree weather). She discussed the products as she was applying them and not only did she make me feel so beautiful but she is one of the sweetest souls. If you’re lucky enough to find her before your big day, or any important event- book with her ASAP!!!

I found Carla on Instagram and was instantly captivated by her talent and how her page looked clean, unpolished and not overly edited like so many other pages I looked at. I contacted her about doing my wedding on October 12, she got back to me right away and was so professional and nice! At my trial I was blown away by how natural the air brush looked and how she was able to capture the look that complimented my skin tone and brought out my eyes. The day of my wedding she showed up early and the rest was a breeze. I was so impressed by how quickly she did my six bridesmaids’ intricate, curled and braided updos.
