Alessia herself was the absolute highlight of the day. Her energy was incredibly positive, welcoming, and so much fun! She is super informative and took the time to slowly walk me through different fabrics, styles, and silhouettes so I actually understood what I was looking at. More importantly, she truly listened to my feedback. As we narrowed down what I liked, she went out of her way to pull some extra gowns for me to try on that perfectly matched my vision.

24. I brought my MIL, mom and MOH. They were able to sit and relax comfortably as they watched me try on dresses for about an hour and a half ! Alessias assistants were so wonderful in helping me get changed and help me understand what I was needing for my wedding gown. They were patient and kind and resourceful. Throughout the whole process they made it seamless; my dress brand was morilee, and it took about five months to come in. Alessias invited me to come back to the shop to try my dress on again! Then I set up an appointment with their seamstress at the phoenixville location, joclyn Himes. she was beyond WONDERFUL. So timely, so skilled, and so personal. tended to pay bridal salon prices for a dress but when I got to Alessia’s and saw the selection of beautiful dresses to choose from and the personal attention received, I decided that the increased price was worth it. Alterations can be quite costly and are included in the price at Alessia’s. For me, that decision was well worth it because, when my MOB dress came in, there was a major manufacturing flaw unable to be rectified by Marlene, their talented seamstress. Just 4 weeks before daughter’s wedding, I didn’t have a dress to wear! Alessia expressed sympathy considering the time constraint I was facing and suggested I choose a sample dress from her store selection. Fast forward to 10 days before the wedding......I now have a different but equally beautiful dress to wear, altered to my measurements and satisfaction by the talented and delightful Marlene. You can’t go wrong choosing Alessia’s for your special day. Alessia is personable, knowledgeable, complementary but willing to make helpful suggestions and, as I found out, flexible with last minute glitches. My experience made me realize I had chosen the right place to purchase a dress considering the complication I encountered. I have nothing to add except don’t hesitate and go to Alessia’s!

ids was dissatisfied and had awful experiences. The seamstress and bridal attendant were both rude and refused to listen to what we wanted done. Alterations were sloppy and poorly done and the dresses weren't fitted correctly. I had to have my altered by a different seamstress after Stephanie's did it and she absolutely couldn't believe they left my dress like that or how poor the quality of the seam work was. They also messed up the groomsmens suits so when the groomsmen went to pick their suits up three days before the wedding they were all wrong and had to be re-altered. The grooms shoes were also wrong. Luckily it all worked out in time but it was a seriously horrible experience!

Although the dress I chose was not available to try on in the store, the employees at Stephanie's were able to help me compare two dresses by the same designer to make a confident decision in purchasing the gown. In addition, I always imagined having straps so they were able to custom-make straps to my liking and were willing to alter them to fit perfectly (for a very reasonable price!).
The only downside is this is a small shop and when it is busy it can get crowded with not enough employees to assist. I recommend going during the week, if possible, to get the best one-on-one attention.
Most importantly, I purchased a beautiful, quality gown for a few hundred dollars, rather than spending thousands at other stores. Make sure to check out the monthly specials as well: by purchasing in October 2014, I received a free veil and bustle, which was an amazing value.

While the other salon told me "no, we don't have that dress," Stephanies bridal said they didn't have the dress but they had similar styles in the line and invited me to come in and see the fabrics and shape of the similar dresses. When I decided I really wanted to order the dress but was too scared to purchase without seeing it, they told me that they would get it in my size without the obligation of me buying it. I was astonished by how accommodating they were and was thrilled that I would get to see the dress and put it on before I made a final decision. Of course when it came in, I was still in love with it and bought it, but they way they took the pressure off of me, was so amazing! Stephanie's did a great job with my alterations at an awesome price, and I would recommend them to every bride that hope for individualized attention and personal treatment for their bridal selection.

I had my heart set on a dress that was in the fitting room with me the entire time, but the design on the dress I ended up selecting sold me. I called and asked if it would be possible for me to come back in and try on the original dress again that I had my heart set on and they agreed. I made an appointment for Saturday, and decided to go with the original dress I fell in love with. Not only did I feel comfortable in it, but it was more "me". I found out that day that the designer stopped making the dress the day before, and so it was not available for order anymore. They worked it out for me and were able to cancel the order I originally placed. They offered me the floor model of the dress I wanted, cleaning it and bringing it in to my size. Not only did they do this, but they did the alterations completely free of charge. I cannot say enough good things about this bridal shop, and would recommend them to anyone that asks. I originally had gone to David's Bridal and was SO happy I made the decision to go to Stephanie's. Their selection is so much better and it is a much more personalized experience. You do not have a sales rep balancing between you and one or two other girls, they are completely focused on you and helping you make the decision on the dress.

Once I selected and purchased my dress, I was able to go in and try it a few times, and they made sure it was tailored perfectly to fit me. One thing is that the people who do the alterations switch off every other weekend, which I was not aware of. If I knew ahead of time, I would have tried to make my appointments appropriately to work with the same person each time. However, everything still turned out just fine with multiple people working on the dress. Alterations were also amazingly affordable, with the hem being included in the dress price. I couldn't find a hair piece in the store, so they worked with me to make one to match the dress, which turned out awesome. I was able to go see it, and request changes until it was exactly what I wanted. They were also able to order the veil I wanted in a color to match my dress since they did not have it in the store, and they steamed it and had it all ready for me during pick up. They were also great with showing one of my bridesmaids how to get my dress on me and do the bustle. A few girls in the store are better to work with than others. If you ask and explain exactly what you want, you just have to find the right person in the store to make it happen.

Alterations didn't cost an arm and a leg and the dress turned out exactly as I wanted.
