Amanda Kocher Photography is a professional photography business located in Shavertown, PA. Owner and lead photographer Amanda Kocher uses a natural approach to her photography, focusing on candid moments and authentic actions. Amanda understands how special a wedding day can be and hopes to immortalize the happy moments of that day through a series of unique images. Amanda works with her second photographer, Jordyn Nast, to encapsulate each moment in a visual memory. The duo met when Amanda was taking Jordyn’s senior photos and Jordyn asked if she could hold her camera in the picture. The two girls clicked and the rest is history. This team treasures the opportunity of getting to know their clients and representing their union as authentically as possible. Each wedding portrait will capture the romantic sparks between the newlyweds. Amanda Kocher Photograph offers a myriad of wedding packages to suit multiple styles and budget requirements. With two photographers on hand to document your wedding day, every aspect of the event will be captured. An engagement session with these photographers is a great way to get to know one another and discuss your vision for the wedding day. After the event, your images will be shared with you via an online gallery and Amanda can create a personalized wedding album to hold your memories.

I’m not joking. Plenty of people take great pictures but Amanda makes them fun and so creative that you can’t help but love them. And with the last two hours or so before my ceremony I was starting to stress when Amanda asked what could she do to make things easier for me. So off she went running things over to my now wife and helping my apply my fake nails. I’m so thankful for all of the help and the laughs and just having her around. People are so excited to see our photos and even though I don’t know if I’ll like them because of me (don’t like having my picture taken) I know they will be beautiful because of Amanda. When you hire her you’re not just hiring a photographer you’re hiring a great person willing to do anything to make your day perfect. Amanda was amazing!! We had to reschedule our wedding 3 times and she made it work every time. Even though she couldn’t make our final reschedule, she sent her assistants which were also amazing. Amanda edited our photos and got them back to us...

Ever since I can remember, photography has been my passion. I pride myself on finding the magic in everyday situations. I take great satisfaction on capturing the beauty in little moments and the big moments as well. The candid moments coupled with natural lighting, backgrounds and the personal touch I devote to every session, no matter how large or small, is what sets me apart from other photographers.
