While I had most of my other vendors booked prior to working with her, she was able to find a fabulous florist that was in my budget (which despite all my searching I absolutely would not have been able to find her without Brooke's help). Brooke was incredibly responsive throughout the whole wedding process and able to answer all of my questions. And to top it all off Brooke and her assistant executed everything perfectly on my wedding day and I didn't have to worry about a thing.

of our special day. With Covid making everything unpredictable, she was the one constant I knew I could count on. What a sigh of relief she was. We had an intimate elopement across the US with just close family, and she went above and beyond… from the walk through with the venue coordinator when we got there, unbeknownst to me, she was picking up on things I said that she knew would make the day absolutely perfect. Couple examples for you-
1. Housekeeping accidentally threw out our placecards and custom wedding topper that were in a box in our suite, Brooke went to a staples (in a state she had never been to before) the morning of the wedding and reprinted them and even found the exact ribbon I had to make them look identical!!! She had guest services search dumpsters until they found the wedding topper still pristine in the case it was shipped in!
2. She even managed (magically I may add) to surprise us with getting our ceremony location moved to the exact place I had dreamed it would be.
I can’t recommended her enough honestly. She is the glue that held this bride together, because let’s face it- the groom just shows up. Hahah. I would hire her ten times over. Book her already. 1000/5 stars.

Brooke was and remained super responsive from the first time I reached out to her, she always made herself available to answer any of my questions no matter how small or silly they were. On the day of the actual wedding Brooke and Colleen were given boxes of signs, and other decorations. They were able to decorate my venue better than I could have ever imagined! The two of them are a dynamic duo and will not let you down! We were hesitant if we needed a day of coordinator at first but I couldn’t have imagined my day without the two of them!! They were able to organize with vendors and provided a detailed timeline so that everyone was on the same page. Brooke and Colleen also professionally handled any and every obstacle thrown at them, none of which being their fault. e DC area. She is extremely professional and communicated to all my vendors and made sure we had an organized day of timeline. For the rehearsal ceremony- she facilitated everything for the entire wedding party and it went so smoothly. Also, she made sure all the decorations and presents were put safely away after the wedding. Also- she was 9 months pregnant and a superstar!! Right before the wedding, I felt so trusting and confident with Brooke because she was on point with coordinating with all the vendors. I said she could stay home for the wedding and rest and have her business partner be there the day of but she was so committed to me and worked during the wedding! She literally gave birth 2 weeks after our wedding. She recommended some great vendors that were amazing and very well reasonably priced. Brooke is very good at responding to emails, which is awesome. Again, she is extremely well priced, organized, calm, professional and is amazing at coordinating weddings.

the very start of wedding planning, I knew my Type A personality would stress me out the day of my wedding, when I couldn’t control a thing. I found Amavi by chance and emailed Brooke. She responded so quickly with a warm welcome and we set up a meet and greet. She was so professional, yet down to earth and I knew she was perfect. A few months before the wedding, we starting finalizing the details for the wedding. Brooke thinks of EVERYTHING. It made it so easy for me to figure out what I needed to do before the big day. She confirmed vendors and the timeline for the day, making suggestions as needed to help the day run smoothly. My wedding day was calling for rain, which caused a complete panic and meltdown for this Type A bride. Brooke and Colleen handled it all. They had a back up rain plan, which thankfully wasn’t needed. They organized the decor and made changes as needed. They stayed in contact with me throughout the day, asking decor questions to make sure I was happy. We even had lost paint pens from moving everything to the venue and Brooke and Colleen went to get them so the guest book could be signed! They worked so well with my crazy bridal party and kept everything organized. We couldn’t rehearse Friday so they ran through it with the bridal parties that day so everything went smoothly during the ceremony. I bought party items to be brought out while dancing that I totally forgot about, but Brooke didn’t. 8pm, here comes Brooke, with glow sticks and flashing glasses in hand, right on the dance floor and the guests went wild, taking the party to a whole new level. She kept everything on track even the little hiccup of running out of wine before the reception... (bad planning on my part). soon as I met Brooke, it was!! I had all these ideas in my head and Brooke helped me execute them. She gave me amazing advice and was realistic about what would work and what wouldn't. About two weeks prior to my wedding, Brooke wanted to have our final meeting and she had the great idea to do it at our venue to ease my nerves. Little did we know, the ceremony site had completely changed(so stressful!!)! In an hour meeting, she was able to re-work our plans to fit the new ceremony site! On our wedding day, I enjoyed my morning getting ready because she was at the venue making sure everything was going smoothly. It was on-and-off raining throughout the day and Brooke kept an eye on the weather and expressed my decisions to the venue so that I could focus on my first look with my groom! The day goes by so quickly and there are always going to be things that don't go as planned. Brooke handled these things gracefully and without us knowing so that we fully could enjoy ourselves. Overall, if you want to enjoy your day and have fun, have someone who is always looking out for you on the biggest day of your life, and also meet a new friend then hire her!! She is amazing! I will be forever thankful!

I Wedding Events & Coordination was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process.
We went with the wedding day package, which consisted of two consultations plus a venue walk-through, a wedding day timeline, and oversight of our ceremony and reception (including decorating, set-up, and break-down for the ceremony and reception). Although Hannah was our actual coordinator on the day of, Brooke was also involved throughout the process and was present during the first two consultations, so it was almost like we got two coordinators for the price of one.
Honestly though, I don’t know what I would have done without Hannah. On the morning of the wedding, shortly after my family, bridal party, and I arrived at the venue, the makeup artist I had hired—who was also roughly 7 months pregnant—had a medical emergency, and I had to call 911 so she could be taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the makeup artist and her baby are both OK, but understandably this created a bit of crisis on the wedding day. Not only did Hannah help keep everyone calm, but her and Brooke also tried their hardest to find me a replacement makeup artist. When our hair stylist ended up expertly pulling off everyone’s makeup, Hannah even stepped in and applied the false eyelashes for myself, my mom, and my two maids of honor—all while pouring me mimosas and keeping everyone's energy as upbeat as possible given the circumstances.
In between this, Hannah also managed to beautifully decorate the ceremony and reception spaces and help direct all the other vendors, letting them know where to go and what needed to be done. She was there taking down and packing our decorations well after the reception ended, too, and I can’t even imagine how long of a day she had—especially considering she was already at the venue when I arrived early in the morning on the wedding day.
All in all, she went so far above and beyond the call of duty, and if this isn’t a lesson to hire a day-of coordinator, I don’t know what is. Hire AMAVI and work with Hannah or Brooke—it’ll be one of the best choices you can make for yourself while wedding planning.

fun to work with. Throughout the planning process, she constantly assured me that everything would be ok and offered guidance and opinions when I asked for them. After our first consultation, I told my fiancé "I am SO happy we hired her!", and I found that statement to be true throughout the entire planning process.
Brooke and Hannah have an amazing attention to detail and are very knowledgeable about weddings. The team has an amazing ability always to be right where you need them but NEVER in the way - I was amazed by that!
She truly allowed me to relax on my rainy wedding day and took care of EVERYTHING from managing vendors, coordinating the rain plan, setting up the ceremony/reception spaces, and cleaning up. Even with the unpredicted rain, I fully trusted Brooke and Hannah to create the vision that I wanted - and they couldn't have done it any better.
