I'm so happy we hired AFA for our wedding a few weeks ago! We hired her as our month/day of coordinator a year out, and she was so helpful. She helped us navigate all the questions of planning a wedding, and was always ready to jump in for us. She was flexible with our rehearsal too, as we weren't able to have it at the venue due to scheduling reasons, but she was happy to have it elsewhere and work with us.
She was very communicative and easy to talk to, and quick to answer all the last minute questions and soothe the final anxieties as we got closer to the day (and there were many, as the forecast was looking quite stormy in the final week--thankfully the rain held off!). She kept us as calm as possible.
On the actual day, she was worth her weight in gold, helping to manage everything and make sure it ran as smoothly as it could. We had a small issue with our shuttle vendor, which I didn't know about until it was handled and dealt with, all thanks to Amy. She made sure we knew what we needed to, and that we weren't bothered by the details we didn't need to know.
I can whole heartedly recommend Amy for anyone planning a wedding!

We legitimately could not of had the wedding we did without Amy and her team! I'm an extremely type A person/bride, but knew I couldn't handle day of stuff and all the logistical items leading up to the wedding. Amy took that off my plate and made sure not only the months leading up to the wedding, but the day of ran as smooth as possible! We had multiple calls to go over check list items, she was there for the walk through with all the vendors to make sure they're on the same page (and asked the questions that someone who's never had a wedding before wouldn't even know to ask), and had any issues or potential issues handled.
She carries herself with confidence and the utmost wedding knowledge, so she's your go-to to trust with your day. Weddings are stressful and overwhelming at times, so knowing she had my back was crucial. Also, her team setting up the decor and making our vision come to life was next level. They really had attention to detail down as a priority, which I greatly appreciated as a bride that designed every aspect of my wedding decor and each table setting was completely different. 10/10 would hire Amy & her team again!

Hiring Amy and her team was the best decision we made for our wedding. She didn’t just show up on the wedding day—she started working with us three months before and from that moment on, everything felt easier. She was incredibly kind, understanding, and so easy to get along with. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but she had such a calm, professional, and organized presence that immediately took the stress off our shoulders.
Every detail was handled perfectly and exactly to a T. From coordinating vendors to managing the timeline, she anticipated needs before we even thought of them. I never once had to worry about anything because I knew she had it covered. Our wedding day flowed seamlessly thanks to her, and we were able to just enjoy every moment knowing we were in the best hands.
If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond, who is not only amazing at her job but also a genuinely wonderful person to be around, I can’t recommend them enough. She made one of the most important days of our lives absolutely perfect.

Amy Frances and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. I hired them for month-of wedding coordination, and they worked seamlessly with all of our vendors to make our day truly wonderful.
We met several times via Google Meet for planning sessions, and also had an in-person walkthrough. Amy and her team were incredibly professional, reasonable, and offered thoughtful suggestions that helped the day run smoothly. Her wedding timeline website was especially helpful, clear, detailed, and easy to follow.
I would absolutely recommend Amy Frances Events to anyone looking for reliable, organized, and supportive wedding planning or coordination services.

We had a wonderful experience with Amy, Abby, and team at AFA. My mom, husband, and I talked with several coordinators before booking with Amy. She was prepared, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Her team helped us find a few of our final vendors - who were all fantastic. I was especially thankful for her when our venue point of contact abruptly left with no warning 10 weeks before our wedding. She made sure we never missed a step, even with the change in contact, and made a very stressful situation much more bearable. In the final lead up to the wedding, and especially the day of, I barley noticed Amy and the team (I mean that in the best way!!!). When I needed to chat with her or needed help with my train or veil, she was always there, but mostly she and the team were operating in the background, taking care of things and making sure we could just focus on enjoying are day - which is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a coordinator. It was in the days after our wedding that I really could think about just how much she did for us. I'm so thankful we had her there! I cannot recommend her and her team enough! Thank you AFA!

Amy and Kathryn helped as a full-service wedding planner for our Spring 2024 wedding. We met virtually throughout the wedding planning process and worked through picking vendors and going through lots of details. We were confident that all the details were set when we got to our venue walkthrough. We were also grateful for their support on our wedding day (including fixing my bouquet). We highly recommend Amy and her team for your wedding planning needs.

Can’t recommend Amy enough! We got married on 12/5/2024- and from the moment we had our initial call to the end of the wedding- Amy was there. She was so open and patient to learning and understanding the ins and outs of our giant South Indian & Western Vow Exchange Ceremonies (yes it was a long day)- and helped execute the day. She was integral in keeping things moving, and considering we had 2 ceremonies in 1 day, this was integral. Amy and her team were extremely professional and supportive, and words can’t express how grateful we were to have her by our side on our special day.

Amy and her assistant Kathryn were professional, creative and so incredibly supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. They provided ideas when we were stuck and truly went above and beyond to help bring our wishes to life, even when they were unusual or unconventional. During planning, they kept us on a timeline to ensure that we weren’t overwhelmed with decisions at the last minute. They were available to answer our questions and provide their expertise any time we needed it. Amy and Kathryn were amazing on the day of, putting out fires and handling any issues that arose so that we could enjoy our day. The most helpful of their services was their coordination between vendors. We had quite a few different vendors and Amy and Kathryn handled all of the logistics on our behalf, in terms of figuring out when everyone needed to arrive, details for breaking down, what equipment they needed, etc. They were assertive in advocating for us when we needed it and we couldn’t be more grateful for all of their help. Highly highly recommend!

We hired Amy only a month or so before our wedding after realizing we were in need of a day of coordinator. Amy and her assistant Abby were fantastic to work with leading up to and on the day of our wedding. They were super professional and helped to make our day go off PERFECTLY! We had a great experience working with Amy and her team (Abby and Nikki)! They helped us work within our budget to still find everything we wanted, made a wonderful day-of timeline for us, stayed in contact with all of our vendors, and did a great job with setup/teardown on the day of the event. We were able to have plenty of meetings with them throughout the planning process to stay on task and coordinated. We also added on hotel room block coordination which lightened the load for us significantly.

Amy and her assistant made my vision come to life for my wedding day, but not without a few hiccups. No I am not a bridezilla and I am very organized. I was disappointed in Amy's communication with me and my vendors throughout the wedding planning process especially the week and day of. She was not really to be seen during our day of but her wonderful assistant was, Kathryn! We also had a vandalism incident at our wedding and she did not handle the communication or clean up process well with the vendors, bride and groom and MOH. She was discussing the incident openly in front of where it happened for everyone to hear. She also stated she would tear down our event and she had my parents and the grooms parents and multiple bridesmaids stay to help tear down and load cars after the wedding when she ensured me her and her assistants would take care of that. All in all my wedding day was great, I would just say be very very organized and ensure you have extra people assigned to help and be on top of your communication if you choose Amy and her company.

I'm embarrassed and very surprised to hear that you were disappointed in some things as I am just now being made aware of this.
Let me begin by saying I am deeply sorry that someone at your wedding vandalized the men's room. This was very disrespectful and inappropriate for whomever took the time to do this hateful action. This is something that I have never experienced before and was very upset and felt for you and Chris and actually was a bit terrified that this was happening at one of my couples' weddings in a building where my team and I were working given the subject of the writing on the stall and the current events around the world.
Secondly, I apologize if anything or anyone had a misunderstood or misleading impression. I truly take pride in my business and my work and strive to be the best for my couples!
My job as your day-of coordinator is to be the liaison between vendors, direct my team and others to complete tasks, try my best to keep things positive and stress-free, make things happen, run smoothly and just get things done that you may not even know happened, etc.
I am not sure how there was minimal leadership presence and I was "not really to be seen" b/c as the lead, I direct my team to handle décor set up, in all locations, while I connect with the leads of all vendors to discuss the entire day, throughout the day, their setup at both locations, handle administrative items, and make sure the timeline is flowing correctly and handle things on the back end, etc. I prompted you, Chris, both sets of parents, bridesmaids, groomsmen, whomever was needed during each event to keep them aware and involved, as needed.
Regarding the vandalism incident, when I hear anything that has to do with "financials" or "fees", etc. (for professional cleaners to come in by the venue) I am required as your coordinator/your representative to bypass your designed contact and go directly to the bride and groom and discuss with you. I must get any approval/non-approval from you directly, not a designed person - this is for liability reasons.
When I found out about the incident, I had to make the other vendors aware of the situation for security reasons as we were concerned. We all needed to be aware so we can keep the positive vibe moving along well and proceed appropriately with the timeline without noticed interruption. This is vendor teamwork protocol so again I apologize for the misunderstanding in discussing the incident near the venue managers office which happened to be in front of the restrooms but away from the main floor of guests.
Lastly, I always ask for a vehicle designee b/c I stated that we pack up your belongs the way that they came to us and the vehicle designee makes sure it all gets put into vehicles. For liability reasons, we do not hold keys or access vehicles unless with the owner. Furthermore, both sets of parents, your MOH and her husband, among others, came up to us at the end and specifically asked "ok, what is ready to go and what can we do to help". We never called anyone in and asked them to help at all. We specifically went to every person and let them know that the bus was leaving and to exit if they were getting the ride. We completed the full tear down (with the caterer) and packed up your boxes. This was also confirmed at the rehearsal by your contact designee. There were about 5-6 cars needed to pack up the décor, leftover alcohol, food, etc. so they helped to arrange for others to pull up their cars to load. Again, I apologize for any confusion on what you heard vs. what was actually done. Our job is to get things done ourselves and we never ask anyone to stick around other than your designee to take away your items.
I'm sorry for the long response (and I sent you a personal email as well) but I do want to make you aware of everything incase you were misled in my ability or any communication. I will absolutely take your notes into consideration moving forward and be sure to add in some addendums for the couple to sign off on so there is no confusion in the future.

We had a great experience working with Amy. She worked with us from the very beginning until our wedding day. We found our dream venue and she was there every step of the way when we needed her. The day of the wedding our family and us didn’t need to worry about anything, we were all able to enjoy the day while Amy and her assistant took care of the timeline, decor, etc. We would highly recommend using Amy as a wedding planner because we had the best day on our wedding and a big part of that was because of her :)

Amy was very easy to talk to, had great suggestions and ideas, and was easy to reach by email, phone and text. She was in the background at the event but had everything under control at all times. She thought of many things that didn't occur to me or my daughter, and took care of every detail on the wedding day without any involvement from us--the perfect planner!

Amy made me feel like I was the only one getting married this whole year, her only client. I didn’t have to worry about anything ! I told her in the beginning that I didn’t want to be too involved in planning , just “which do you want, this or this” and that is what I got ! A no stress experience where she told me where to be and what to do. EXACTLY what I wanted.- show up, look pretty, and enjoy myself knowing she and her team took care of all the little things that were important to me. Could not recommend more, best day of my entire life!

Amy was extremely accommodating, insightful, and easy going to work with. We had a fairly non-traditional ceremony and Amy and her team helped us throughout the entire experience, making us feel secure in our decisions throughout the whole process. Pricing, personability, and performance all shined through exceptionally. My wife and I continue to receive compliments about the ceremony and reception even a month after the event. Amy did such a great job. We had a lot of moving parts for our wedding at Antrim 1844 and Amy really took the lead with running around. I wanted a day of coordinator and she was much more than that. She put together our timeline and all the details so I could easily share with everyone involved my intentions. It really took the stress off. Our wedding was an absolute dream!
