My only advice is to make sure you get an agreement or email in writing that clearly states what you are getting. We had to remind her about how many tiers we had discussed. Other than that, I would surely order from her again!

We got French Vanilla cake with the almond icing for our wedding cake, and it was the very best wedding cake that I’ve ever had. The cake was moist, fluffy but not too airy, and stayed delicious for over a week after the wedding. I was so happy with how it came out, and my only critique was that our wedding cake icing was not as almond-y as the icing that we had during our tasting, which my husband and I were disappointed about. Regardless, it was a great experience and really delicious, high quality cake, service, and design at a fair price.

We purchased a 3-tier cake with alternating flavors for each tier. I designed our cake myself and sent it to her to bring to life and it seemed she was fine with what I provided when I checked in with her. The cake that was delivered to our venue was beautiful and received so many compliments. It was truly a work of art and our guests said it tasted fantastic. It wasn't until AFTER the wedding when we found out from our coordinator that two of the three cake tiers were actually faux/Styrofoam ones and the majority of our cake was brought as sheet cake. The price we paid was definitely not equivalent to two big pieces of Styrofoam and sheet cake, nor was it discussed it would be delivered to us that way. We talked with her about wanting to freeze the top tier for our 1st anniversary, but unfortunately there ended up not being a top tier of actual cake. Where WE went wrong is that we didn't get the specifics of what we purchased put in writing for ourselves, which is how we think she gets away with doing things like this. We wondered if she might have forgotten about our cake and realized she couldn't get the three tiers made in time. We're not certain why this happened, but if you do decide to hire Anna Cakes, we would suggest to just make sure you get everything you discuss and purchase in writing.

Letting her know extra details cost more and how to work around that with different options. She listened to my daughter and responded promptly with costs and what we needed to do in the whole process. Anna also worked with us with a last minute cake topper change. Instead of flowers we wanted to put a clay figurine replica of their dog Emma. It worked out perfectly! She gave us such good advice and was flawless in her delivery to our event. It was a beautiful and amazingly detailed decorated cake. I constantly show it off to my clients.

She presented us with numerous cake samples, fillings and buttercream flavors. My husband and I had our hearts set out on a specific flavor and she delivered an amazing tasting selection that included what we liked. She is incredibly honest, worked with our budget, and helped us to figure out how big (or small) of a cake we needed for our reception, so as to not over do it. Send her lots of cake design ideas before hand or the day of and she can definitely work with you on whipping something up that is exactly your taste. She will be honest on what adds more to your total , which is a good tip to know if you are on a limited budget like we were. If you can opt for the top tier for only the bride and groom, for either 1 yr anniversary or to just eat while on honeymoon which is what my husband and I did since we took a road trip to a few different cities along the east coast . Feed each other in the hotel, in the car, or as a late night snack !!!!! We had enough cake for everyone and then some! The fondant didn't taste like your typical generic fondant, it was absolutely tasty !!! That's coming from a non-fondant loving person! She allowed you to bring the cakes and filling you had left over from the tasting to take home , we brought ours to my parents to receive their input and we had approvals on the spot! I would recommend her to anyone else that would be looking for a baker for their special event any time !

h another big name vendor in town and then got a personal recommendation for Anna. The difference in service and quality was unbelievable. Here are the advantages to working with Anna: 1. The list of cake, filling and frosting flavors are limited. That ensures that everything Anna makes is top-notch quality, tastes homemade and is super fresh both for the tasting and the final product. The other vendor’s product tasted and seemed mass produced and was not fresh. 2. Anna can help guide the most uninformed client (like us) as far as popular flavor combos, cake design and appropriate delivery time & method. Our entire event was held at one location and the cake was served in the same room we had the ceremony. Anna’s crew snuck the cake in at the beginning of the reception which was a great surprise for everyone as most people did not even see her delivery person. 3. Anna offered her expertise during our tasting and unlike the other vendor she never made us feel like we were bothering her or that we were “dumb” just because we don’t know cake jargon. The other baker was late to our appointment at HER SHOP, did not apologize and never actually made eye contact with us - they were obviously not interested in our business or money. Anna on the other hand made us feel like family members and really shared in our excitement. 4. The cake was INCREDIBLE looking & tasting! I am not sure where she got the flowers (our venue must have put some aside for her) but without ever having a post-tasting discussion the cake was exactly what we wanted, and even better. We will definitely be recommending Anna in the future and would not hesitate to order another cake from her in the future! Thanks again, Anna!!!

Anna was very accommodating and sketched this out for us. We were offered a discount for paying in full the day we did our tasting and took advantage of this! I had purchased grey lace cupcake liners from Etsy and dropped them off in person to Anna the week of the wedding and they were absolutely stunning on our cupcakes at the wedding. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the quality, value, and deliciousness of the product that was provided :) We will definitely be recommending Anna Cakes to our friends!

picky. Anna Cakes was our third and final stop of the day and up until her tasting, we were feeling a little defeated. None of the other bakeries had very moist, dense, tasty cake. Well Anna Cakes definitely did. Her cake is the furthest thing from dry and bland and she has awesome flavors, icing and filings. Also her design abilities are on point, our cake looked AND tasted great on our wedding day. Also her responsiveness was great for us, just via email more than via phone. If you want a cake closer to Starbucks' cake pops and not a dry supermarket cake, go with Anna Cakes. My husband is already saying that we will be ordering our gender reveal cake from her in the future :) Thanks Anna.

, design, and flavor of Anna’s cakes are better than any others in Orlando a long time before it was time to book my own wedding. It was a no-brainer! The only hard part was deciding between all of the flavors, because they truly were all great. We had a strange request of covering the outside with color blocked nonpareils and couldn’t get the vision out of my mind. Who knew they didn’t sell the colors I needed! I didn’t find out until afterwards but she hand-dyed those teeny tiny sugar dots to get it absolutely perfect. Needless to say it wasn’t as cut and dry as either of us was expecting, but it’s exactly why I hired a pro. Thank you Anna for bringing my dream to life!

None of your guests will really care about the cake anyway and you'll be much happier spending the money on your honeymoon or something else that matters - like the DJ or venue. Anna Cakes is totally overpriced, overdone, and not worth your effort or time.

erry filling for all tiers and somehow one of them ended up being coconut. Not sure how that happened, but otherwise the cake was beautiful and yummy. She is a little hard to get in touch with, I imagine because she is very busy! It was kind of pricey, and although I would still recommend her, it doesn't hurt to shop around and look at/taste others before making a decision.
