Our wedding cake not only looked great, but tasted great! The only negative thing is one of the tier's fillings was incorrect.

I couldn’t recommend Anna enough! I knew I didn’t want a white wedding cake and when I stumbled onto her site I was impressed with her portfolio. From the very beginning she was easy to communicate with. The flavors she offers for cakes/buttercream are perfect; not bland or overly sugary like other bakers. Also the way she makes fondant actually tastes good and makes you want to eat it! At the wedding our friends and family came up to us multiple times about how the cake not only looked gorgeous but was totally delicious! Thank you so much again, Anna! We’ll be sure to use you for future life events!

Our wedding cake was perfect, thanks to Anna Cakes! She executed everything we wanted and MORE! We have received so many compliments about the design and taste of our cake! It was amazing. We had such a great time and all of our guests still talk about how good the cake was. Anna was nice and helpful throughout the process. My only advice is to make sure you get an agreement or email in writing that clearly states what you are getting. We had to remind her about how many tiers we had discussed. Other than that, I would surely order from her again!

Delicious, moist cake! At our taste test, we couldn’t find quite what we wanted, so Anna offered to go whip us up some almond amaretto frosting in the back and it was AMAZING. Anna is so easy to work with and easily grasped my vision for our wedding cake, both in visual design and taste. We got French Vanilla cake with the almond icing for our wedding cake, and it was the very best wedding cake that I’ve ever had. The cake was moist, fluffy but not too airy, and stayed delicious for over a week after the wedding. I was so happy with how it came out, and my only critique was that our wedding cake icing was not as almond-y as the icing that we had during our tasting, which my husband and I were disappointed about. Regardless, it was a great experience and really delicious, high quality cake, service, and design at a fair price.

When we came to Anna's kitchen, we thought we had the cake we wanted. But her tasting trays and her creativity helped us create the perfect cake together! Her naked cake was amazing, and delivered right before the reception to stay fresh. There was barely any left - the guests loved it and made sure to have a slice even with two other desserts in the wedding!

Giving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. I live in Chicago, IL and am planning my Orlando wedding mostly from a distance. For one week I flew into Orlando to finish the planning process and had booked a tasting with Anna. At the time of scheduling the tasting (months in advance), Anna told me she was already booking up for my August wedding date but a $500 deposit could hold my date. I told her I wasn’t comfortable paying before tasting. She said she understood and guaranteed a full refund if we didn’t like the taste of the cakes. She stated she has done this in the past. Thinking we had nothing to lose, we gave the retainer fee. Unfortunately, about two hours before our tasting, SHE CANCELLED the tasting! She cancelled via EMAIL (thank goodness I check my mail regularly). I tried to call her to discuss it and got a voicemail. I emailed and asked her to call me but she would only communicate by email. She asked us to come to a tasting the next day but we were leaving town and couldn’t. I told her if we were unable to taste the cakes due to HER cancellation we would expect a refund. She not only refused to refund the money but I was appalled when she said that WE should be more flexible. It is not our fault we couldn’t meet her. She cancelled on us. So now she has our $500 and has provided zero services for us, not even a tasting. She has refused to refund any money. We are currently perusing legal action. I don’t care how her cakes may taste or look, her customer service is disgusting and she basically stole from us. Do not give her your money!

We really, really wanted to be happy with our decision with choosing Anna Cakes to make our wedding cake, but sadly we are not. Her galleries looked impressive and there is no denying that she is extremely talented, but the customer service aspect is lacking. Our cake tasting session went well and we got a good, creative vibe from her. We purchased a 3-tier cake with alternating flavors for each tier. I designed our cake myself and sent it to her to bring to life and it seemed she was fine with what I provided when I checked in with her. The cake that was delivered to our venue was beautiful and received so many compliments. It was truly a work of art and our guests said it tasted fantastic. It wasn't until AFTER the wedding when we found out from our coordinator that two of the three cake tiers were actually faux/Styrofoam ones and the majority of our cake was brought as sheet cake. The price we paid was definitely not equivalent to two big pieces of Styrofoam and sheet cake, nor was it discussed it would be delivered to us that way. We talked with her about wanting to freeze the top tier for our 1st anniversary, but unfortunately there ended up not being a top tier of actual cake. Where WE went wrong is that we didn't get the specifics of what we purchased put in writing for ourselves, which is how we think she gets away with doing things like this. We wondered if she might have forgotten about our cake and realized she couldn't get the three tiers made in time. We're not certain why this happened, but if you do decide to hire Anna Cakes, we would suggest to just make sure you get everything you discuss and purchase in writing.

Anna is a super sweet professional woman.. out of all my vendors she was the one who always answered my question right away. I never had to wait days or message her over and over again for any concerns to had.. not to mention her cakes are beautiful and delicious

I used Anna for my cake for my out of state wedding. I will say she was able to meet me short notice which was nice. The tasting was fantastic I enjoyed the experience until she pressured us to decide right then and there if we wanted to have her make my wedding cake. I hadn't seen many examples of her work and was going strictly off of flavor so I said yes. I regreted it the next day when I saw that she was mediocre in her creativity at best. I originally wanted an art cake which she quoted me one price for that I was able to afford. At our meeting she changed the price to something astronomical which crushed me because this was the last time I was going to have to be able to find someone to make my cake since I'm out of state. She promised that her black fondant was pitch black.......it was charcoal on my cake which pissed me off even more. The quality of the cake compared to the tasting was lacking and not at all special. She then proceeded to tag me on Instagram in a picture of my cake but with a very insulting caption. My cake topper was missing and instead of just saying it was an elegant cake on her social media she had to mention it which was already upsetting to me. I text her to have her change it and her new caption was only a table less insulting. "I think cakes without toppers are just as pretty" again she mentioned the topper and makes a back handed remark to distance herself from the creative aspect of the cake. Just know if you make any mistakes she's going to call you out on social media...

We booked Anna for our 4/14 wedding. We went to multiple cake tastings prior and immediately could tell the difference in her cake taste and design. Anna was very reasonable and was very responsive throughout the planning. We went with the new “simple” design and she made it look more elegant. On the wedding day Anna delivered the cake closest to our cocktail hour to ensure freshness, which we greatly appreciated. We absolutely loved our cake and so didn’t everyone else! Do yourself a favor and book Anna you won’t regret it and won’t find a better wedding cake!!!

Anna created the most beautiful cake for our wedding! Our cake tasting was AMAZINGGGG in a her little bakery! We chose coconut cake with strawberry filling and boy was it delicious ! It was so good that there were no leftovers, people were getting seconds. Thank you so much !

Anna Cakes is an amazing bakery! Anna is straight forward with her pricing and works with you as to options to be more cost effective to stay within your budget. I have had both of my daughters sweet 16 cakes done by Anna and have two graduation cakes on order with her. She takes time to serve a large sampling of her cakes, fillers and toppings then sketches your Cake idea right there. She takes her time and delivers the cake of your dreams. Christine Forge

We used Anna Cakes for my daughters wedding last March and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a cake for an event. She bakes her cakes the night before the event for super freshness. Her cakes are like heaven and eating air. So light and fluffy. She worked hard to understand what my daughter wanted her cake to look like and guided her in the budgeting process. Letting her know extra details cost more and how to work around that with different options. She listened to my daughter and responded promptly with costs and what we needed to do in the whole process. Anna also worked with us with a last minute cake topper change. Instead of flowers we wanted to put a clay figurine replica of their dog Emma. It worked out perfectly! She gave us such good advice and was flawless in her delivery to our event. It was a beautiful and amazingly detailed decorated cake. I constantly show it off to my clients.

Anna Cakes BY FAR was the best experience I had with ALLLLL of my wedding plans! She’s super talented & professional! The cake sampling was DELICIOUS & the hardest part was choosing which cake to get! She made it a pleasurable experience for my fiancé & I. No wonder she was voted into the Top 10 Bakers in Florida.... it really showed! I’m so excited and proud to say who I have doing my cake for THE MOST important day of my life!!!

After searching and speaking to several vendors who told me they couldn’t do the cake I wanted or wanted a outrageous price we found Anna just when I was about to give up. Anna from the very beginning was so different and easy to work with and responsive. As soon as I met her I knew she was the person who could make my cake vision come to life. Plus Not only are her cakes amazingly beautiful but they are so good ! We even struggled picking what flavor we wanted. People are still commenting on how good our wedding cake was and I am trying to find a excuse to get another cake.

Anna was amazing with communication and making sure what we envisioned is what we got ! She delivered the cake herself to our venue for our wedding reception! Which I was not expecting at all, and added a personalized touch to make sure delivery was on time, etc. During our meeting and tasting process she was quite busy in between cake tastings, you could tell she was quite a popular "possible" baker for any event. She presented us with numerous cake samples, fillings and buttercream flavors. My husband and I had our hearts set out on a specific flavor and she delivered an amazing tasting selection that included what we liked. She is incredibly honest, worked with our budget, and helped us to figure out how big (or small) of a cake we needed for our reception, so as to not over do it. Send her lots of cake design ideas before hand or the day of and she can definitely work with you on whipping something up that is exactly your taste. She will be honest on what adds more to your total , which is a good tip to know if you are on a limited budget like we were. If you can opt for the top tier for only the bride and groom, for either 1 yr anniversary or to just eat while on honeymoon which is what my husband and I did since we took a road trip to a few different cities along the east coast . Feed each other in the hotel, in the car, or as a late night snack !!!!! We had enough cake for everyone and then some! The fondant didn't taste like your typical generic fondant, it was absolutely tasty !!! That's coming from a non-fondant loving person! She allowed you to bring the cakes and filling you had left over from the tasting to take home , we brought ours to my parents to receive their input and we had approvals on the spot! I would recommend her to anyone else that would be looking for a baker for their special event any time !

Anna Cakes did an AMAZING job not only with my wedding cake but also our Groom's Cake. She perfectly recreated a Whiskey Barrel with a Steelers Terrible Towel draped over it. He was so surprised and loved it! All of our guests are still complimenting how amazing the cakes tasted.

Do yourself a favor and BOOK! Besides her cakes being AMAZING, the thing that seriously grabbed me was Anna's personality. Her cakes are a 5 out of 5, but her personality far exceeds her amazing talents!! She is truly a blessing!

Choosing Anna's Cakes for our wedding cake was by far the easiest decision we made during our planning process. Her cake is absolutely amazing and she is such a talented artist with cake decoration!

Working with Anna was amazing! She gave us a personalized experience and really helped guide us so that we got the cake of our dreams. We previously had a really bad experience with another big name vendor in town and then got a personal recommendation for Anna. The difference in service and quality was unbelievable. Here are the advantages to working with Anna: 1. The list of cake, filling and frosting flavors are limited. That ensures that everything Anna makes is top-notch quality, tastes homemade and is super fresh both for the tasting and the final product. The other vendor’s product tasted and seemed mass produced and was not fresh. 2. Anna can help guide the most uninformed client (like us) as far as popular flavor combos, cake design and appropriate delivery time & method. Our entire event was held at one location and the cake was served in the same room we had the ceremony. Anna’s crew snuck the cake in at the beginning of the reception which was a great surprise for everyone as most people did not even see her delivery person. 3. Anna offered her expertise during our tasting and unlike the other vendor she never made us feel like we were bothering her or that we were “dumb” just because we don’t know cake jargon. The other baker was late to our appointment at HER SHOP, did not apologize and never actually made eye contact with us - they were obviously not interested in our business or money. Anna on the other hand made us feel like family members and really shared in our excitement. 4. The cake was INCREDIBLE looking & tasting! I am not sure where she got the flowers (our venue must have put some aside for her) but without ever having a post-tasting discussion the cake was exactly what we wanted, and even better. We will definitely be recommending Anna in the future and would not hesitate to order another cake from her in the future! Thanks again, Anna!!!

We first met with Anna a little over a year before our actual wedding date after she was recommended to us by our DJ. She had a lot of samples ready for us while we were doing our tasting and even let us take home the leftovers (there were a lot!) which we enjoyed later that evening. We wanted to have cupcakes for the guests and a small tier for us to cut and save. Anna was very accommodating and sketched this out for us. We were offered a discount for paying in full the day we did our tasting and took advantage of this! I had purchased grey lace cupcake liners from Etsy and dropped them off in person to Anna the week of the wedding and they were absolutely stunning on our cupcakes at the wedding. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the quality, value, and deliciousness of the product that was provided :) We will definitely be recommending Anna Cakes to our friends!

It was outstanding . Everyone simply loved it. The cake was moist, delicious, and beautiful. The bride was hesitant to even cut it. Anna was easy to work with and extremely helpful. Anna is so great to work with- we had such an awesome experience at our tasting and felt 100% confident that our wedding cake would be beautiful AND delicious. The day of the wedding came around and I never once worried about the cake's arrival or setup or anything-- and when I saw it halfway through our reception it was better than I imagined! It was super tasty as well, and I'm excited to eat our top layer for our anniversary!

Two words... DELICIOUS CAKE. My husband is known as a cake connoisseur amongst our family and friends so when it was our cake tasting day I knew between the two of us we'd be quite picky. Anna Cakes was our third and final stop of the day and up until her tasting, we were feeling a little defeated. None of the other bakeries had very moist, dense, tasty cake. Well Anna Cakes definitely did. Her cake is the furthest thing from dry and bland and she has awesome flavors, icing and filings. Also her design abilities are on point, our cake looked AND tasted great on our wedding day. Also her responsiveness was great for us, just via email more than via phone. If you want a cake closer to Starbucks' cake pops and not a dry supermarket cake, go with Anna Cakes. My husband is already saying that we will be ordering our gender reveal cake from her in the future :) Thanks Anna.

Anna Is amazing! First off we were an hour late to our tasting, and she waited patiently, never making us feel guilty or acting put out. We were so thankful she waited, because her cakes tasted PHENOMENAL, and she sketched everything we suggested right before our eyes. She is an incredible artist and an amazing person. She makes you feel right at home, and listens to your ideas, but adds her own expertise to create the most fantastic version of what you thought you wanted! Our wedding cake was perfect in every way. I work at a venue that hosts weddings so believe me, I have probably tried more wedding cakes than anyone you know (the scraps have to go somewhere!). So I knew that the structure, design, and flavor of Anna’s cakes are better than any others in Orlando a long time before it was time to book my own wedding. It was a no-brainer! The only hard part was deciding between all of the flavors, because they truly were all great. We had a strange request of covering the outside with color blocked nonpareils and couldn’t get the vision out of my mind. Who knew they didn’t sell the colors I needed! I didn’t find out until afterwards but she hand-dyed those teeny tiny sugar dots to get it absolutely perfect. Needless to say it wasn’t as cut and dry as either of us was expecting, but it’s exactly why I hired a pro. Thank you Anna for bringing my dream to life!

She is FANTASTIC! Our cake was perfect!

Like a couple others have mentioned - communication is not a strong point with Anna Cakes. In our case, it meant no cake on our wedding day. She never puts the customer first and it is always something else; or in our case, a "misunderstanding" or "assumption" on her part. Do yourself and your bride a favor - save the money and go somewhere else. None of your guests will really care about the cake anyway and you'll be much happier spending the money on your honeymoon or something else that matters - like the DJ or venue. Anna Cakes is totally overpriced, overdone, and not worth your effort or time.

The cake was beautiful!! I did a cupcake cake with different flavors and colors. Everything was delicious and gorgeous! She was so easy to work with and very fun! She asked plenty of questions and designed the idea as we spoke! It looked exactly like we talked about. She is so talented!

My wedding was on April 2nd, and I received a tasty, 3 tiered caked designed exactly how I wanted it. If you have a vision for your cake, Anna will definitely be able to bring it into fruition! Many of my guest complimented the design and the taste and even snuck a few extra slices! The cake was really fresh and the icing was light and not overly sweet.

We would like to thank Anna for providing us with the GREATEST wedding cake. Anna went above and beyond to make this a great experience. I loved that Anna kept our budget in mind and still gave us what we wanted and then some. It was even better than when we tried it during our consultation. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the fun yet elegant design and better yet, how yummy it was. Only downfall was, everyone wanted more! Anna will do everything possible to make sure your cake is exactly what you wanted for your wedding day. There's a reason she has been featured on so many things! All of my guests loved the cake design and it tasted even better! You won't have to worry about the usual "gross wedding cake" dilemma. Even the fondant was delicious. My (now) husband isn't big on cake but is super excited to eat our top tier! It tastes that good :) Thank you for everything Anna!

Anna makes beautiful and great tasting cakes. Our only major issue we had was that one of the tiers of our cake was coconut- not what we ordered. We ordered vanilla cake with raspberry filling for all tiers and somehow one of them ended up being coconut. Not sure how that happened, but otherwise the cake was beautiful and yummy. She is a little hard to get in touch with, I imagine because she is very busy! It was kind of pricey, and although I would still recommend her, it doesn't hurt to shop around and look at/taste others before making a decision.

We all look in books or at tv shows and see all the fancy pretty cakes. But......Does those fancy cakes taste as good as they look? Hmmmmm I just can't thank Mrs. Anna enough for our BEAUTIFUL & DELICIOUS cake! We had family calling day's after the wedding for leftover cake that we obviously didn't have but that goes to show how great the cake was. Book her!!! She's amazing and you won't regret it!

Anna is worth every penny! My husband and I aren't the biggest cake fans, so we chose to have a cupcake tower instead. Anna took my vision from afar (we had a destination wedding in Florida) and made it exactly the way I wanted! Not to mention, the cupcakes tasted amazing. I highly recommend her services in the Central Orlando area.

Booking Anna for our wedding cake was an easy decision! We meet up with her to do our cake tasting and immediately we knew we had to book her for our big day! My husband's favorite part of the wedding planning was the cake tasting and choosing Anna Cakes was one of the best part of wedding planning. We had so much fun tasting and mixing different flavors and Anna immediately sketched our idea and got exactly want we wanted for our wedding day. We had so much compliments from our wedding guests about how delicious and moist our cupcakes and cake at our wedding. Anna Cakes is definitely one of the best in Central Florida and we are so thankful we booked her as part of our wedding team!

Anna created our wedding cake for our outdoor tented garden wedding. She guided us on what would hold up better for a summer wedding. Everything came together wonderfully and the cake looked and tasted amazing! It didn't melt! Thank you so much!!

Anna has created many cakes for my family and I. We first met her in 2007 when looking for someone to create our wedding cake. We were literally a month away and so stressed. After a few prayers, I found her website online and took the chance of writing her a message. She was So Sweet, kind, flexible, understanding, and wonderful to work with. I will never forget our first cake tasting. Anna did such a wonderful job on our wedding cake. It was so BEAUTIFUL and tasted great! After that, our family requested her cake for all of our family events. She made the process of completing the design of our cake fun, and stress free. Anna also made my son's spiritual blessing cake, which was a very meaningful day for our family, and we were so glad to have her make his first birthday cake as well, which was better than I could have hoped and so special for my family and I. Just this last year, Anna has created a beautiful baby shower cake, graduation cake and most recently my twin and my 30th birthday cake-which was beyond any cake I had seen online or in magazines. It was gorgeous and Anna went over and beyond to make us happy. When I make photo books for my family, including extended family, after a celebration; I always include a picture of the cake. It's incredible how awesome and talented Anna is. I recommend her to anyone looking for a special cake. Not only are the designs show stoppingly beautiful but the quality and taste are equally as impressive. We love Anna Cakes!

Fresh-baked, delicious, and beautiful!

Anna Cakes was AMAZING. We got married early April in California. First of all, she made the cake at her bakery in FL and FLEW with it the day before the wedding. Talk about fresh and so accommodating! Most bakeries freeze their cakes, which is fine, I have done that myself, but it's way better to have it fresh. Her standard of quality is top notch. I don't even know where to begin with the cake. I left it all up to Anna because I had no idea what I really wanted to do. She had so many ideas and ultimately felt the right thing to do was a buttercream ruffle cake. It went perfectly with everything at our wedding. I'm so glad I left it up to her. The flavor was out of this world. And SO moist. We got the very popular coconut cake with vanilla buttercream. I can't wait till the year is up so we can dive into the top. Anna herself is really personable. She's got a great sense of humor while keeping it highly professional. There are a lot of logistics getting a huge cake presented, but she made it seem like simple magic. It was absolutely stunning. And delicious. And fun to go back and forth with Anna because she made everything seem so light and kept it really easy for me.

Horrendous experience with Anna Cakes. We paid a deposit of $350 more than one year in advance. When it came to scheduling the cake tasting/design appointment, she told us that our appointment was tentative and that if she had another order come up, she would cancel our appointment. Exact quote from Anna Hightower: "If someone was to book a wedding for $2,000 out of town, or a corporate order comes in, or a traveling situation arises, obviously a free tasting does not take priority." This also applied to our appointment that was scheduled FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. So that means that five days before my sister's wedding, there was a possibility we would not have a cake. Ridiculous. In addition, Anna was very unprofessional throughout the entire cake-planning process. She continues to bash her clients on social media, including facebook and instagram (again, I am not the only person to notice this according to her other reviews..) She also then tried to mum our honest and truthful reviews online by sending us a contract to refrain from writing reviews, infringing upon our rights to write truthful reviews!! We are still fighting for the deposit back that she is holding onto, and according to the official complaints on the Better Business Bureau, I am not the only person whose money she is holding onto. In my opinion, no service, no money. It's that simple. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAKE VENDOR.

We met with Anna after meeting with another cake artist, and ultimately ended up choosing her to make our cake. I am so glad we did! At our tasting Anna gave us a TON of cake to choose from. There was one flavor I wanted to try that she didn't have already prepared, and she wipped it up on the spot! I gave her a photo I had found on pinterest and told her that is what I wanted, and she worked with my florist to create that photo exactly. She is a true artist! She worked to create what we wanted and still fit within our budget. The cake was DELICIOUS. In addition to our top tier, we came home with some leftovers that I wrapped up well and stored. We just got back from our honeymoon two weeks after the wedding, and tried the cake...IT IS STILL MOIST AND DELICIOUS. Anna is great!

I followed Anna's account on Instagram and new I had to have her create our cake.It was one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process! She was so wonderful to work with and very efficient. My mom and I were running an hour late to the tasting (did not plan for Orlando traffic) so Anna and I just texted back and forth about a cake design. Within a few minutes, she texted me several design mock-ups and all of them were on point. When we showed up, she greeted us with a huge smile on her face (did I mentioned I was an hour late!) and we tasted the MOST DELICIOUS cake you could imagine. I ended up going with 3 different types of cake: coconut, devil's chocolate and marble cake with cookies n' cream & buttercreme frosting. The cake was the main focus of our decor as it sat behind me and my groom. It was a beautiful cake, and even better, it tasted so good. If you're looking for a friendly vendor that makes delicious and beautifully designed cakes, hire Anna! You won't be disappointed.

We tried out a few cake places but Anna had the best cakes out of everyone. Her cakes are delicious and beautiful. She works with your budget and makes sure that you get the exact cake that you want. We were very happy with our wedding cake and would definitely recommend her to everyone.

Anna Cakes was AMAZING! Just starting with the tasting appointment - what a variety of cake flavors, fillings, and frosting to try! We loved all of it, and ended up creating a wedding cake with 4 completely different layers of flavor/filling combos. So delicious & fresh! I can't wait to eat the top layer! The remaining cake was delivered to our hotel room at the end of the night, and we ate some that night & the next morning! Anna is always quick to reply, and she'll sketch a drawing of the cake you are wanting her to create. Highly recommend!!

Could I be any more obsessed with Anna Cakes?! Wow! Our wedding cake was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! Anna was recommended to me by a bridesmaid and I am SO happy she told me about Anna. Our tasting was amazing - no pressure or awkwardness because Anna brings out all the amazing cake samples and fillings and gives you time to taste without sitting over and watching you. But, even if she was there while you sampled it wouldn't even be weird because everything tasted incredible. When our cake was delivered it was absolutely stunning... and when we finally got to taste it, it was even better than I remembered! I ate the cake at our reception, when we got back to our hotel and for breakfast the next morning... NO SHAME! It was SO GOOD. Im having to keep our top tier in my parents freezer because as soon as it get to our house it will be eaten. How can you have self control with a cake that good?! Thank you Anna for delivering the most beautiful wedding cake! I highly recommend using Anna Cakes and I will continue to do so for future events!

Anna was amazing! Not only was our cake completely beautiful but it was delicious. Having Anna do our cake was dream come true!!! She places each flower perfectly and it was just a stunning focal point. Forever grateful!!

Our cake never arrived at our wedding. We had met with her 6 months before the wedding, designed the cake, PAID IN FULL, and thought we were good to go. Everything was done through our planner. A week out, my planner confirms delivery time and everything. The day of, that time comes and goes, my planner can't get a hold of her, and when she finally did, Anna said she thought the wedding was cancelled. We have no idea where she could have possibly gotten that idea from. Then she blamed me, the bride, saying she sent me several unanswered emails. This is simply not true, but giving the benefit of the doubt for a wrong email address, she could have called, or contacted my planner who was her main contact the whole time. We are still trying to get our refund. It's really a shame, because we liked her when we did our cake tasting and we loved the design of our cake. But if you want to guarantee your cake shows up, I wouldn't risk it. My planner has also said she'll never use her again.

The cake was delicious and beautiful! We had a wedding for 100 guests, a cake topper, and 94 cupcakes. Anna delivered on time, and it was absolutely the best cakes we ever had!

The cake I ordered was not only gorgeous but delicious as well. The cake tasting was awesome and she was extremely helpful in figuring out exactly what we wanted! I would highly recommended using her. If you want something that looks and tastes amazing this is the place!!

OH MY LORD LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS CAKE!!!! WOW! It was so far beyond our expectations I could just scream "ANNA CAKES" from the rooftops! I know, everyone always tells the bride and groom how fantastic the cake is, even if it's not...well people were telling each other how amazing the cake was! I had one guest who table hopped to find cake not eaten by those who were on the dance floor!! We picked a "safe bet" with Chocolate and Barvian cream for a tier and something a little more daring, Coconut with peach filling and they were both equally a hit! Guest raved about the unique coconut flavor! We had very little cake left over and what was left, my husband and I polished off within 3 days of the wedding. That is saying a lot because I don't usually enjoy cake, but I enjoyed it for Breakfast, I enjoyed it for lunch, and I enjoyed it any chance I could sneak a bite! Our take home "anniversary" tier was lemon with raspberry filling-simply delicious! Sadly, a guest had too much fun at the wedding and while taking it back to our room, he indulged in it himself. It looked much like a 1 year old's "smash cake" after that. I will definitely be ordering another freshly baked cake on our anniversary and probably any other time I am in need of a cake from here on out! So the taste was off the charts, but the decoration was just as incredible. Anna sketched out the cake and helped us compile 100 of my pinterest ideas into the perfect cake! She knew exactly what would look good and even mentioned that the Navy color would stain my mouth for the night but had a plan to still incorporate it! I have no idea how she made it so magical but I can't speak enough praise about her! Also, she is someone who is very honest with herself- She only bakes the cakes right before the event (unlike others who bake it ahead of time & freeze it) which means she will only allow herself to take on a certain number of cakes to give each it's fair share of time and attention!

Absolute nightmare! We showed Anna a pic of excalty waht we wanted but on our wedding day we were so disappointed. We paid in full 6 months ahead and were promised 2 dozen cupcakes on our wedding day but SURPRISE! NO cupcakes on our wedding day! When I returned to work on Mon I had an email from Anna that was sent the day before my wedding asking if we still wanted the cupcakes on our wedding day. She should have called us for such an important question, not sent the bride an email the day before her wedding! I also had an email on Mon, asking me if I was going to be able to return her cake stand by Tuesday. We were never told that we were responsible for her cake stand, so imagine my surprise to see this email. I called my planner who stated that Anna was suppose to pick it up from the venue, so it was still there. We live almost 2 hours from the venue and an hour from Anna's shop--there was absolutely no way that I could drive to the venue to pick the stand up and then to her shop to drop it off--especially by Tues! Sat, my husband went and picked the stand up. On the way back he called Anna several times to see if she could meet him somewhere by I-4, since he had just drove 2 hours out of his way and could not remember where her shop was, she never answered . At 10 PM she finally text him back and said she had a wedding on Sun and would need the cake stand by 12 or she would be charging us $250. She never once told us we would be responsible for returning the cake stand and we never signed or recieved any sort of contract. You would think she might be a little more accomodating for such a miscommunication on her part, but she was un-willing to work with us...AT ALL! Now for the icing on the cake! That day I seen a post on FB from Anna Cakes about my husband and I. It stated that she was tired of customers not returning her cake stands and had quotes that were specific to us. VERY VERY unprofessional! I seen another bride's comment thinking it was about her, so this had obviously happened before! I commented and wrote exactly what I'm writing here and soon after the entire post was deleted and I was blocked...good call!

As if everyone didn't already know, Anna is amazing! Our cake was a dummy cake to save on costs.. Nobody would ever know! The flavor was coconut with guava filling and was not only unique, but to-die-for! She is very professional and we never worried about anything going wrong. She delivered on time and the cake was exactly what we imagined!

Can I gush over Anna anymore than I already have? I can't stop talking about her... and I literally have dreams about her cakes :) My husband and I keep debating if we just want to go ahead and eat our top tier now instead of waiting a year because I can't imagine going a full year without tasting it again. Anna is VERY down-to-earth and REAL. Her cake tasting was quite memorable for us. We ended up being with her way beyond what was scheduled because we meshed with her completely. She's super talented at what she does and her cakes are flawless. The work she does on these cakes is unfathomable... they are seriously works of art. The problem with some cake places is that they can look beautiful and then taste... "eh." This is NOT the case with Anna. The cake tasted just as amazing as it looked. The cake was moist and the buttercream frosting she makes is ammaaazzzing. The filling choices are wonderful too. We loved them so much we had four different types at our wedding :) hehe Anna, You are splendid. Thank you for helping my cake dream become a reality! xoxo, Autumn

While planning our wedding I knew enough to prioritize those elements that meant the most to us... cake was one of them. I love cake, love going to new cupcake shops to try different bakeries and flavors, and eat them too often (and in excessive amounts). The cake Anna created for us was not only the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, but it was also the most delicious cake I'VE EVER HAD! Not to mention how amazing Anna was to work with from the beginning! Being an out-of-state bride I was nervous to contract someone based on reviews alone, but I'm glad I did. Anna was an amazing professional, very personable, and is very talented. I can't wait to dig into our anniversary cake! Thank you, Anna, a million times over!

Anna was sweet and her cake is delicious and beautiful. She will only communicate through email and sometime it takes a few days to get a response. I was over charged for my cake and it took 2 weeks of daily follow up to get my money back. I also requested a flavor that she suggested and then was told on my wedding day that she couldn't do it. I emailed her my flavor choice in November and received no response back....until I sent a email to confirm my cake delivery and flavors 2 days before the wedding. After my wedding was over I was looking at emails on my phone and she sent a email at 7:30 pm stating that she would do my flavor. I am not sure why it was sent so late. I didn't have my phone or a computer in my wedding dress. That being said the cake quality was good. I just think that she has to much business to be able to give the level of service needed.

Anna has a small shop in which we found from a recommendation from a friend. You can tell in the way she talked to us about creating the perfect cake that she loved her job and loved making cakes for people. We went for a pretty simple design, but it turned out beautiful. We went for a three tier with multiple flavors of cake sponge with multiple flavors of jam. Though we didn’t get to eat too much of it, we received many compliments from our guests. Overall, a great price for a great cake!

We got so many compliments on our wedding cake!! Not only was it delicious, but it was BEAUTIFUL!! We were in the middle of our first dance when I saw the cake and I couldn't stop looking at it!! Lol. Anna was so easy to work with and did an amazing job! I would highly recommend her!!

I had tasted Annas cupcakes at a bridal showcase and it was the only one there that did not taste like it was frozen for a week! Her cakes are moist and fluffy and full of flavor! She put together an amazing cupcake tower for us that had 5 different flavors and she even customized it to my husband by making the vanilla icing on some cupcakes look like camouflage! She was the absolute best!

Anna is amazing! I was a little nervous because we opted for buttercream (as opposed to fondant) to save money, but our cake was gorgeous! I was speechless when I saw it! The best part is that it tasted as good as it looked! We sampled cakes at several local bakeries, but no one even came close to Anna Cakes. Look no further for your cake!

This cake tasted so good! She offers so many flavors of cake, filling, and icing which are all homemade and made within 24 hours of your event. We used her for our Groom's cake and our wedding cake. She made an amazing replica of the 1955 Chevy my husband built with his father. And she was half the price of Publix (our local grocery store)

Best wedding cake EVER! Anna was the FIRST and ONLY place we looked for our wedding cake. I had complete confidence in her ideas and was always so excited about our cake. Anna is very quick to reply to emails and is very organized. Her tasting was AMAZING and our cake was even better! Do yourself a favor and book her because she is the absolute best, you will not have a worry in the world!

I was so amazed by how beautiful and perfect our wedding cake turned out! It looked even better than when she made the sketch back in August! It tasted delicious too! Her cakes are amazing and the tasting we got to taste many different kinds to find what we liked the best! Very talented!

although Anna is an incredible artist, her coustomer service was not the same. i felt like because we were having a small wedding and only in need of a few dozen cupcakes and a small cake, and that were were not spending thousands of dollars, that we were not provided the service we should have. paid upon contract so when it came time to finalize things she already had been paid. 3 week from the wedding i tried to contact her and it was nearly 10 for a response. we had yet to discuss specifics of the order. i was in limbo. she does not/will not speak to u via phone. does everything by email, which would be fine if the response was fairly quick. wished all was outlined from the start. needed to provide cupcake holders last min. because the only do white. had no idea these were custom. the presentation was beautiful yet has no purple accents like i requested. flavor and texture of cake was o.k.. nothing spectactular. i will say it again though.... great artist if thats all you are looking for.

The cake was delicious. Anna makes them the day of so you have fresh tasting cake. Everyone loved it. But I was not too pleased with the service, I didn't feel like I got my monies worth with the cake size and design, and felt like the customer service was a little rude.

Anna is very talented! In our tasting appointment she listened to our ideas and budget and drew a sketch of what the cake would look like right there! It was exactly what I had envisioned for our March wedding at Casa Feliz. You can choose different favors for different tiers and fillings as well. We also ordered red velvet cupcakes as the grooms "cake" and they were a huge hit too. If you haven't done so already, make your tasting appointment now! You won't be disappointed!!

So my mom lives in Tennessee but my reception was in Orlando, Florida. I get a call every couple of days mentioning something about Anna's cupcakes and how they were the best cupcakes she has ever had. My husband and I went with a more nontraditional dessert station, but the cupcakes were absolutely the star. Anna is an awesome baker and a wonderful person to deal with. The hardest part was picking out which flavor I wanted to have, so thankfully I was able to have several...I would recommend her peanut butter chocolate, coconut, or amaretto, but you also can't go wrong with one other fresh fruit fillings. We choose Anna Cakes because we had seen one of her cakes at a wedding we attended and tasted it. We were unable to taste OUR cake until 2 days prior to our wedding because our appointment was cancelled the night before. We do not live in Orlando and our tasting appointment was the ONLY time we could go there prior to the wedding. They were not very accommodating. Also, I sent two pictures of cakes that they were supposed to design our cake based off of and a very detailed explanation of what it should look like. My cake was pretty, but it did not come out how I thought it was going to. She added these crazy fondant/gum paste flowers to the cake and then fought with my florist over whether or not my cake was supposed to have a flowers on the top- in front of me. One last thing- Anna Cakes' Facebook page is not company page, it's Anna's personal FB page. Do not be surprised if you see her talking smack about potential or curr
