I booked Anna to do bridal boudoir photos as a wedding gift for my fiancé, and I don't have enough good things to say about her and her work! For one, she's just a cool person- she's extremely personable and for such a delicate session, she immediately made me feel at ease, comfortable, and ready to break out of my shell. For two, her work is just so timeless and inspiring. She's talented at what she does, and worked the room in an incredible way- the photos turned out classic, tasteful, and stunning in a way I didn't imagine before walking into our session. If that's how she does with boudoir, I can't imagine how amazing she is on a wedding day.

How to describe Anna?! Sweet, kind, relaxed, flexible, professional and TALENTED to all heck!!! She was just simply AMAZING and her photos were literally like a fairy tale! She even surprised us with a few edits the NIGHT or our wedding! It was amazing! I have shown so many people the photos and they all say how romantic and perfect the photos are! She brought a backdrop for the detailed photos, three cameras and a smile! I can’t express enough! Anna Smith was the BEST! Simply above and beyond!

Anna is the best. I'm very picky about photos in general and never quite feel comfortable in front of the camera, however Anna blew me away!!! She is very talented, especially amazing when it comes to black and white and has the best demeanor - which made me feel like I was just taking some fun pictures with a good friend. Again, she is the best and i would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

Anna is spectacular! She is easy to work with, responsive, organized, timely and oh so talented! Your wedding pictures are going to be how you remember your special day and Anna does the absolute best job. Anna is amazing!!! She was so sweet and wonderful to work with the day of our wedding. She got pictures of all the most important moments, and I barely even knew she was doing it! She was super quick with our formal picture after the ceremony, and she gave great direction, so all our pictures look really nice and natural. She also put together the layout for the photo book I ordered with all our favorite pictures, and its beautiful!! I would hire Anna again in a heartbeat!

From the moment I met Anna (via FaceTime late at night due to planning my wedding out of state) I knew she was going to be one of my favorite vendors I picked for our day. She is so down to earth and easy to work with. We got married in November and didn’t do a first look, so relying on taking pictures outside after the wedding felt a little risky. Anna was SUCH A PRO at making sure we got plenty of pictures with the little daylight we had, and was so efficient during group photos. I think we somehow were even done with pictures ahead of schedule and got a few extra gems at the end! On top of that, she had our pictures edited SO FAST. I mean, you hear stories of brides having to wait months for their edits- but not with Anna. She had them back within weeks, beautifully edited, and I was even able to gift pictures to family for Christmas! Long story short, Anna won MVP of the wedding weekend when my family voted, and I’ll never be able to fully explain how thankful I am for her hard work and beyond beautiful photos on our wedding day!

Anna is amazing, and I absolutely love my wedding photos!! Her eye for detail and her ability to capture all of the joy and emotions of such a special day are unparalleled, and I cannot recommend her more! She captured so many details from the day that I didn’t see myself, and it was so great to look back on them and relive the day. The quality of her photos and related products (photo album, prints, etc) are exceptionally high quality, and ordering them was a breeze! Choosing a photographer was one of the biggest decisions in planning my wedding as it was so important to me to have every moment of my special day captured. After interviewing several photographers and MUCH research, I chose Anna, and thank goodness I did! She is just so personable and down to earth, which makes her the easiest person to work with. I found Anna Smith through a referral from my hair & makeup crew after meeting with 4 other photographers and not being completely sure about them. When I met Anna, I knew she would not only take breathtaking photos, but was also going to be a joy to work with. She has a great eye for what looks good too and will be really great at suggesting poses that feel and look natural so that you’re not always having to come up with how to pose/stand. Anna is simply the best. When my now husband and I decided to do a destination wedding, I didn’t even let him have a say in our photographer. Anna's work is absolutely spectacular. We booked her services for our engagement photos, boudoirs and wedding day photography. I have never "loved" myself in photos but, Anna was able to capture images that my husband and I both absolutely ADORE and truly capture the essence of "us". I was extremely nervous at the beginning of the boudoir session but, Anna was able to help me relax and made the experience fun! On the business side, Anna was reasonably accessible, she helped me stay organized and gave me a "head's up" any time we approached deadlines for photo selection etc. We absolutely plan on using Anna again in the future!!!

Words cannot describe how happy I am that we went with Anna for our photographer! Immediately after I met with Anna I knew she should be our photographer. I hired Anna to take my engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding pictures. I was looking for a photographer who was affordable, but still offered professional-quality pictures. I stumbled upon Anna's website and from the second I contacted her it was so easy and she was so wonderful to work with! She texted me right away rather than emailing, which was awesome and felt a lot more personal (important when you're counting on someone to get to know the two of you and the shots you want)! If you have seen any of Anna's work, you know how incredible her photos are. Every shot she sent me looked like it could have been on the cover of a magazine. Anna did not miss a thing at the wedding. I decided to save a bit of money and go with the single photographer option rather than having her bring an assistant and she still managed to capture everything. The night after we took our pictures (engagement, bridals, and wedding) she sent me 5-10 sneak peek shots and then sent me all of the pictures only TWO DAYS later (for engagements and bridals). This is truly incredible if you have been around any other wedding photographers who often take months to get these shots back. And she was so available to answer any of my questions and update me on when I could expect my pictures. When Anna shot our wedding, she posted a few pictures to her instagram and facebook that evening and then the day after we got home from the honeymoon (ONE WEEK) after our wedding she sent us the link to view ALL OF OUR WEDDING PICTURES on her website. And just one week after that I received emails with all of the digital prints. TWO WEEKS AFTER THE WEDDING AND I HAVE ALL OF MY WEDDING PICTURES. She is seriously incredible. She also works as a full time physician assistant and still managed to get me my pictures back in record time. That's as good as it gets. I absolutely could not be happier that we chose Anna to capture our wedding. Best decision I made for our big day.

We decided to splurge on one facet of the wedding and that was the photographer! We definitely made the right decision in using Anna Smith to capture our special day. I would highly recommend using Anna because she can elevate any wedding to star status with her skills and talent. My favorite thing about her is that she's a "ghost" at the venue. You don't even know she's there and it helps to keep you calm and candid. She will capture all your best moments. Trust her eye!

I can't say enough positive things about Anna and her photos. We hired her to photograph my bridal portraits and the wedding, and couldn't have been happier with the pictures. Looking for somebody to capture such a special day can be very daunting and intimidating, specially when there are so many photographers out there!!!! Choosing Ana was like love at first sight! Anna Smith did such a great job on not only my bridal pictures but also my wedding pictures. She is very calm and collected, which is nice to have on a not so calm day! She stays in the background and does not interfere with the scheduled events. Her work is also amazing.... out of all the bridal and wedding pictures there is not one image I do not like. Everything turned out perfectly!!! She was also able to send us some sneak peaks at pictures just a few days after the wedding. I also had my disk with all the images within a few weeks if I remember correctly! She was SUPER fast :). LOVE LOVE LOVE her work.

Working with Anna was THE BEST! I actually found out about her by recommendation from another The Knot photography vendor in Dallas who wasn't able to do an engagement shoot in my time frame (It goes to show how talented Anna is when her peers will stand up for her and share her name!!) Living in Dallas but planning a wedding taking place in Kansas was made even easier when Anna offered to travel to Lawrence, KS for our wedding. We were so impressed with how smoothly our engagement photos went and how quickly we got our photos back (within two days, and even seeing some teaser photos that same night!) that it was a no-brainer we ask Anna to be our wedding photographer. She is so organized and in the few busy weeks leading up to the wedding, she sent a quick questionnaire that covered everything she'd need to know for the day-of. This made it so easy on our wedding day, since all the details had been covered. Our wedding party all thought she made the photo process so fun and quick, and was very flexible for any last minute itinerary changes. She was so fun and easy to be around, and we really enjoyed having her with us all day. Not only did her photos turn out even better than we could've hoped, she sent our full set of photos (more than 1,000 photos) within a couple days after our wedding. Our friends and family could see the photos through her online portal all at the same time, which made photo sharing a breeze. Thank you to Anna for your attention to detail and easy-going personality that made our wedding photos turn out great!

Let me first start off from the beginning... I was introduced to Anna through our wedding planner, Whitney Bailey at Chic Fleur Weddings & Events. Anna always arrived on time, was always courteous, respectful, and most importantly was professional. She is so elegant with her work and it certainly shows! Anna works with you on such a personal level to get to know both the bride and groom's personalities and really has a special charm about her. As soon as we saw the first of our engagement photos, we knew the wedding photos would be unbelievable. We didn't know how truly amazing they would turn out. She captured every single beautiful moment. She uses several different film, and they are all so romantic and breathtaking. I find myself constantly looking at our wedding photo album. Even the album is so beautiful! It's the perfect coffee table book made just for us on our special day. Anna is honestly the best there is. I will be using her for other events we have in the future and have already suggested her to my other friends (obviously!!). We love you, Anna. Anna is seriously the best photographer EVER! She is the absolute sweetest and she was so helpful on the day of the wedding keeping things running smoothly. She got amazing photos from the wedding day and was a joy to work with. She is so quick to deliver the proofs too. I have had several friends wait months for their pictures but I was sitting in the airport at 5am the day after the wedding when I got an email from Anna with 10 of our wedding pictures. It was the best surprise! I cannot imagine working with a better person!

Anna and her super cute and helpful assistant showed up on time and ready to work. I loved that she had ideas ready to go - as that was the last thing on my mind. She sneakily took my rings, she took my dress, (This is starting to sound like the song "Regulators") and whatever else she wanted at various points in the night and we never even discussed what she was doing. She knew what she wanted and what we would want as the bride and groom --- and she got it for us. I honestly didn't see her all night and I was SORT OF worried she slipped out - BUT I just saw all the proof(s)... She was there. =) She was timely in getting photos back to us - which we loved. She was assertive which I always love. Most of all - she was good at what she does. I highly recommend her!

Ever since the wedding I have been singing her praises. Anna was absolutely wonderful. She is creative in posing and is very knowledgeable about what makes a beautiful picture. She is friendly and easily accessible and fit right in with our wedding. I still can't believe how great the pictures turned out. She also did a bridal session for me at Fair Park in Dallas. She knows a lot about the area and we ended up with a lot of great shots. A girl at work stopped me and asked how much she charged. She was very upset to find that she spent twice as much on her wedding day for photos that weren't near the quality that Anna provided. I strongly recommend Anna for any occasion. However, her outdoor shots were my absolute favorite. THANKS AGAIN ANNA!!

Let me just say this: I actually chose my wedding date around Anna's schedule--as in, I picked a date out of the ones she said were still available. In the interest of full disclosure, she also happens to be one of my best friends. She would have loved to be in my bridal party, but I pulled out my inner bridezilla to ensure that she be my photographer and not my bridesmaid. What makes Anna stand out is not only that she takes beautiful pictures, because yes, a lot of other folks take beautiful pictures too. The special thing about her artistry, is how she can bring out the best in the couples she works with. She zeroes in on your best features, sometimes ones that you didn't even know you had, and then she teases them out and captures them all with her camera. Case in point: My fiancé has a MAJOR bugbear with taking pictures--he feels so awkward that he can never smile to the camera. I do mean never. Not me, not his parents, not his best friends, could ever get a "cheese!" out of him for pictures. And then Anna did it during our engagement session. She is the only person ever to get (natural!) smiles out of him. I guess I have to keep hiring her for the rest of my life, every time I need to get actual smiling pictures of my man. I absolutely believe she can make anyone and anything look good. You can TRY to look bad in her pictures. Go ahead try it. Will not work. If you're on Anna's page, you HAVE your photographer. Check. Done. Decision made. You're welcome. It's an absolute travesty that she's not taking photos 24/7, because every second she spends not taking photos is to deny the world of more of her amazing art.

Anna is an excellent photographer. She was very flexible and made every shoot easy. I worked with Anna for my engagements, bridals, and wedding. I am a little uneasy having my photo taken, but Anna worked with me to make me and my husband feel comfortable. She was fun to work with. She was very quick to return the photos too. Many of my friends got married and waited months and months to get their photos, but Anna had them back within the week, crazy!! If you need a photographer, hire Anna!

Photo style: our photos are a mix between portraiture and fine arts. They are flawlessly beautiful photos. Pictures were crisp with beautiful lighting. Creativity: Anna has an wonderful eye for poses, backgrounds, lighting, and the overall construction of the photo that she has in mind. She is talented and skilled photographer. Professionalism: Anna is very professional, while remaining friendly and courteous to our families and guests. She maintained very good composure before and after the ceremony. I appreciate that she was so organized with all the key family members to make sure we have our family portraits and etc. Our outdoor ceremony was in the late afternoon of late October, so lighting and timing was important and she did a superb job of coordination with all the family members and friends. Overall: We were so fortunate to have found Anna. She struck me as someone who truly enjoys working with couples and families, to give her clients the best of her abilities. After seeing her portfolio and having gone through the engagement session, I had complete trust in Anna for our wedding day. I accidentally picked a very cold day in December 2014 for a "late autumn/winter" themed engagement session. Anna did not hesitate and followed through of working for two hours in the cold. Anna is a very dedicated photographer, she worked tirelessly from early afternoon until the late evening of the wedding day. I can't say enough how much I appreciate her hard work. We received our digital copies of our prints within a couple of weeks after the wedding. Our families and friends have nothing but compliments for her and her beautiful work. I wish I could give Anna Smith Photography 100 stars! When I first saw Anna's pictures on Wedding Wire I fell in love with her photos, I just felt I connected with her style and knew I wanted her. When I reached out to Anna she was booked for my date, I was bummed and started looking for someone else, a few weeks went by and Anna had a cancellation, it was like the stars aligned in my favor! :) I met with her the next day and signed a contract and never thought twice about it again. After the initial deposit, Anna allowed me to make payments which made budgeting 100 times easier! She was always available and answered any questions almost instantly, if not within the first 24 hours. I really can't say enough great things! My pictures turned out absolutely amazing, my family and friends are blown away by what we received. Everyone complimented how professional and sweet Anna was the day of. I received the most amazing photographs EARLIER than expected, she even sent me a couple while she was on vacation so I could get Christmas cards ordered. I could keep going and say a million more things about how wonderful Anna is, but I think her work speaks for itself!

I used TheKnot to look for almost all of my vendors, and came across Anna Smith back in December, looking for a photographer under $2000. I loved her style from the portfolio and decided to send out a few emails to see what catches. Within, literally a few minutes I received a text from her, she answered all of my questions, sent me a welcome email about what to expect and we ended up setting up a meeting in person sometime after Christmas. She's always available via email, text, Facebook, etc. Included in the package is a one hour bridal session or engagement session, my (now husband) like most men, don't care for pictures, but she was so sweet, she wanted all of her couples to have a few snaps of engagement pictures, and threw in a mini session (20 mins) of pictures for us to keep. I'm so glad I did a bridal session, it helps to shake some of the nerves off and on my wedding day, I was much more confident in posing and smiling all day. Our bridal session, although it was 100 degrees outside in Texas, you wouldn't be able to tell I was sweating like crazy. Anna is very speedy with turnover time. I got teasers that night, and the blog posted pretty much the next day. Our wedding was Sat, she had teasers and post up 3-4 days later. Her cd from my bridal session, much like her welcome box was packaged super cute, and despite the fast turnover time, it did not skimp in quality. Her images are captured from photojournalistic view (no corny awkward poses) and they are just breathtaking. Anna has such a great eye, very professional, and gave us the most wonderful gift to cherish for a lifetime, capturing the magic of our wedding day. Can't say enough wonderful things about her. Best wishes to many more amazing things to come for her, she's the hardest working photographer I know.

As a photographer myself (studio and action photography), I can say that Anna really knows her stuff when it comes to shooting weddings. She works extremely fast and the quality of the pictures speak for the themselves. The day of the wedding was extremely smooth, at no point did she detract or take away from the fact that it was our big day. The "posed" family shots went by quickly and effortlessly, she directed my family well and was able to wrangle everyone quickly (that's a feat, considering how loud my family is). The rest of the night, it felt like she wasn't even there, which is a great thing! She was like a ninja, working quietly and efficiently, taking great pictures without intruding or interfering. Can't say enough good things about her... she even gave me some technical tips for my photography!

We used Anna for our engagement and wedding pictures and she is amazing. She captured all the little details and is very available to her clients should you need to talk to her. Another awesome thing is her turn around time, we got our photos within 2 days after the wedding and they were all edited perfectly and a LOT of pictures. She is worth more than she charges and i'm really grateful i met her as we will be recommending her to any one we know and will use her for any of our big events. We were so lucky to have Anna Smith photograph our wedding. She is a top notch photographer who not only has an incredible eye for amazing photos, but is also extremely friendly, attentive, and organized in the face of wedding day chaos. My husband and I spent months researching photographers for our wedding day. We were on a tight budget and couldn't afford to spend thousands on each part of our wedding, which is what we found everywhere we looked. We came across Anna's website and we were immediately impressed with the beauty of her photos. Once we met with her, we knew that she was who we wanted to work with. Over the next few months our planning our wedding we got to see other weddings and engagements that she photographed; we were in awe of the incrediable way she was able to capture these unforgettable moments. My new husband and I met Anna playing beach volleyball at our resort in Riviera Maya while on our honeymoon. We didn't know of her amazing talent as a wedding photographer and mentioned how our camera battery died (I forgot the charger) and I was upset we wouldn't get nice pictures of us on the beach. Out of all the vendors I used for my wedding, Anna Smith Photography was probably one of my favorites. Not only does she do amazing work, she is just incredibly personable. She completely reached out to us to get to know who we were as a couple. She is so nice and friendly! She is also incredibly thorough and timely. Compared to most photographers this should earn her 10 stars! It is incredible how difficult it can be to get timely replies from photographers. Anna is so organized and on top of things. She got our photo files to us in less than 3 weeks!!! That is absolutely unheard of! We will be using her for all future photoshoots as a family. Amazing! Unbelievable! Breathtaking! Wow! We used Anna Smith Photography as our wedding photographer. We were doing internet searches one day to find a good photographer and bumped into Anna's photo galleries. We were immediately astounded by the quality of her work and decided to contact her about photographing our Save the Date session and Wedding Reception. Since we had got married in India, we wanted a complete contrast style of celebration in the US. We explained this to Anna in our first meeting and she understood exactly what we were looking for. This gave us a good feeling and we signed her on the spot. Because we had a confidence in her ability to portray this contrasting style, we agreed to her only available date which became the official date of our wedding reception, June 14th, 2014. Anna is amazing. She is very kind and genuine and she knew exactly what to do, how to direct everyone and how to get amazing shots. She has an amazing eye for detail and I don't know that there are words to do justice to how beautiful our pictures are thanks to Anna Smith. Anna was such a joy to work with! She shot both our (very last minute) engagements and our wedding and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. Anna is a very nice person, this was our first time meeting her, for our wedding and she just went that extra 110% out. We was about 30- 45m Late and she waited and still did our photo shoot with no extra charge and for the hrs.booked. she's a really nice person. So glad we chose her , we had lots of fun. Picking out a photographer was a challenge, because all you really see is the "highlight reel" on photographer's websites. You see their top photos out of the hopefully thousands shot. You don’t get to try them on and take them back if you don’t like them, once used you are stuck with what you’ve got or have to spend more money to try out another photographer. What drew me to Anna Smith Photography was the creativity she displayed when capturing the engagement/wedding rings in her photos. As I continued to go through the photos on her site, I didn't just see pretty smiling portraits, but I saw moments captured in time. Her competitive prices and "highlight reel" had me sold. I went out on a limb when I hired Anna Smith Photography and can now boldly declare that the "highlight reel" is just as good as the full reel of photos that she took at first my engagement shoot.
