Jenny made our wedding so stress-free and I truly mean that, coming from a Type-A Stressball. We worked with her for almost a year to plan all the details and wow did she deliver! Planning a wedding on the West Coast when we’re based on the East Coast sounded so overwhelming, but Jenny helped us every step of the way. Jenny is worth every penny and we already miss our monthly chit-chats now the event is over! Thank you!!!!
Jenny has a wealth of knowledge in planning and vendors. We had many big ticket items figured out before she became our planner. She handled a lot of the details that made a huge difference on wedding day. She communicated with us and made it work despite us being from out of state and different time zones. We relied on her for a lot of local vendors and her opinion on our choices. She really came through. Jenny really worked towards us having the day we wanted and worked around our wishes. The hardest week was the week before our wedding and we felt very supported during this time. Jenny and her team were exactly what we needed the week of and day of our wedding. They took care of us and took care of items we didn’t even think of. We were happy to have had Jenny’s expertise during our wedding planning process.
I was definitely overwhelmed by the thought of a full production wedding, but jenny made the process so much easier and her input was invaluable. My wedding was everything that I had envisioned…absolutely recommend Jenny and her team. Very professional, kind, prepared, and attentive!

On top of all that, we were especially grateful for her coordination skills on the day off. Coordination was key to making our big day happen in such a memorable way. We found Jenny because our reception venue required we hire a day-of coordinator. But she did way more than that. She helped us keep on budget, plan the seating and the schedules, communicate with all the vendors, and decorate the reception place since we end up not hiring a florist. She is super responsive, too, always the first one replies.
During the wedding, she is always there if anyone needs help. I can't imagine how much trouble we would run into without her.

We are so happy that we went with At Your Door Events for our wedding! AYDE just coordinated our wedding on 11/4. They are amazingly organized and dedicated to making every single part of the wedding planning process smooth and successful as well as the wedding itself. We first met Jenny a year before our actual wedding and she brought resources and detailed information which really helped guide us in the right direction so early in the planning stage. We regathered throughout the year; she was prepared and even sent us detailed items to help us plan for our day. Her timelines are detailed to the T which ensured the big day went smoothly. The night before the wedding we forgot to get champagne for our reception and Jenny took care of it and brought the supply to the venue in the morning. She provided two extra assistants on the day of, which was a major help, especially being that we had a big wedding! We had some changes that needed to be made mid-reception and they were able to make the on-the-spot changes and get everyone on the same page (caterer, DJ, photographers, videographer). They always made sure we were okay and even ran to the bar to get me club soda when I had spilled red wine on my dress! Thankfully, we were able to clear it up completely! Big thank you to Jenny and her team for making our day perfect and taking care of us. Their hard work and dedication to their clients really shows in their work. We happened upon Jenny and “At Your Door Events” as the result of a recommendation by our venue. I did not anticipate that we would need a wedding coordinator as, at the time, we were confident that we would be able to plan and run the event ourselves. Our venue, however, required that we had at least a day of coordinator to assist, so we hired Jenny at their recommendation.
The real interaction started about a month before our ceremony since we only purchased the day-of coordination package. Jenny was immediately on top of all the rehearsal and day-of activities and was key in helping us making some of our final decisions on timing and set up. While I appreciated the upfront help, the best part of the service was during the day of the wedding. Being a project manager for work, I tend to like to control how events flow. On the day of my wedding, that was actually the last thing I wanted to be doing. Jenny took our plans, and along with her experience, made it seem like the whole day moved like it was on a smooth set of rails. When I thought we needed something, it was already done. When I had questions, she had answers. She did the whole thing with a smile while always being a quick look or wave away. With all her help, my wife felt stress free (which means I was stress free - BIG PLUS!) and I felt like the best thing to do was to get out of the way and enjoy the experience. Added bonuses, she was an expert dress bustle troubleshooter, super professional and I never had to once talk to vendors about anything other than how great they were!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Sarah. We hired her as our day of wedding coordinator and she was so helpful and a joy to work with. When we did our venue walkthrough she had great input and ideas. From the week of to the day of the wedding she not only made our dream wedding come true, but she also made me feel relaxed and that she had everything handled. When she noticed I was getting a little stressed she was quick to calm my nerves and did so in such a sweet and genuine way. I am so grateful. Best wedding investment!!!
We worked primarily with Sara through the course of our planning. She was great and helped us think of a few things that we might not have otherwise come up with, as we were amateurs at this. Unfortunately she was sick during the day of our ceremony. Thankfully, her partner and staff members stepped in and were pretty darn excellent on short notice. There were a couple of questions about what exactly we wanted (how could there not be after all the previous emails, meetings, and calls back and forth?) but it was very obvious that Gracie had worked extremely hard to get up to speed and help the day run smoothly. They did a great job under adverse conditions and at a higher level than many organizers would do at their best.
Jenny was a LIFE SAVER. My husband and I hired her for day off wedding coordination but she was so much more. She helped us find a few of our vendors and even loaned us a beautiful tablecloth for our sweetheart table free of charge. Jenny was a total pro and so on her stuff that several members of the bridal party commented to me how impressed they were. At one point during the reception, my mother, who has been the de facto wedding coordinator at several family weddings pulled me aside and said "Thank you so much for hiring Jenny." She really made everything so easy and stress free and there were so many small details that were really thoughtful. As soon as my husband and I walked out of the ceremony, there was someone waiting for us with glasses of water and a few appetizers. During the reception, Jenny was constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything. I can't recommend Jenny and At Your Door Events enough. They made our special day even more perfect than we thought it could be!
Jenny was unbelievably helpful and professional. She truly was able to anticipate every thing that could happen on our wedding day, and was able to make it as carefree as possible. She was hands on and wanted to make sure she was on top of everything, going above and beyond to make sure she is informed about every decision and plan going into our wedding. To call her a day-of coordinator greatly underscores how much she does leading up to the wedding, even a year out from the date. For the price, she cannot be beaten.
I cannot say enough good things about At Your Door Events. We were lucky enough to have Sara as our "day of coordinator" and she was amazing! She not only made our wedding day run absolutely perfect (seriously, it was perfect) but she was there with a smile anytime I needed her. She kept the day running smoothly and had every detail taken care of. I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding because I knew Sara was on it. My family and even vendors commented on how outstanding and professional Sara and her team were. I heartily recommend At Your Door Events to everyone. We cannot thank them enough!
Where to even begin?!
We reached out to a few coordinators and services when we first started planning our wedding and as soon as we spoke to Jenny, we knew she was our girl. We described a pretty messy plan in an even messier email - we wanted to do brunch, we wanted people to play games, we wanted people to dance in the daylight, we wanted it to be super casual... but still formal enough that our families would appreciate it. We wanted people to sit on the ground... or not... or stand during the ceremony... or not? And most of all - we had a very tight budget that was not going to budge!!
We made a deal with Jenny that she would be our day of coordinator, but also assist heavily in the month before, AND also give advice in the year leading up to the wedding. We would need help with some vendors, but would do some leg work ourselves. For all this, she gave us a rate that seemed almost illegal, and she worked 100x harder than we ever expected.
We found our venue, but she walked through with us and asked the questions we didn't know to ask. We knew our menu, and she found a caterer and negotiated the price for us. We would handle the invitations and decorations, but she gave us tips and advice along the way. For a full year, it felt like Jenny was our full time assistant. She recommended DJs, officiants, hair and make up, photo booth and rental vendors and looked over all the contracts we drafted and told us when we were off track.
The week before we all but threw our hands up when it came to vendor relations and left all the schedule setting and distribution to Jenny. We stressed over writing our vows, dealing with family in town and ordering flowers.Jenny did everything else.
The day of was incredible. We made our own elaborate centerpieces and cut our own table runners. We had about 50 picture frames we wanted displayed around the venue, a chuppah to build, a slew of lawn games to set up and an unconventional ceremony layout. We thought Jenny and team would freak out, so we labeled boxes and bags to the best of our ability, put them in a rental van and crossed our fingers. My husband and I are TV producers and our biggest fear was showing up day of and having to do work or make decisions, the way we do on a TV set. When we arrived at the venue the morning of the wedding, Jenny and her team of magical elves were in full worker bee mode and within 2 hours, everything looked exactly how we had imagined it - if not better.
At the end of the night we just... walked away. We totally trusted Jenny and her team to clean up and get everything back to us and they totally did. It was like a dream.

Where do I begin? Sara and her team were absolutely amazing!! Every step of the way Sara was there for me and had an answer for everything. Although our wedding was a bit unusual in format, she went with it and made our day absolutely PERFECT in every way! This is the day a little girl dreams of her whole life and she nailed it! Everything part of our day was perfectly timed and seamless! We had not a care in the world other than dancing our hearts out and enjoying every second of our wedding! Which we did!! I am a bit of a control freak and I had not one issues with handing her the reigns completely. And she did not disappoint! Even to this day she is a kind and thoughtful person who thinks of us in the smallest of ways! I couldn’t imagine anyone else helping me plan such an amazing and important day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sara and her excellent team at At Your Door Events! You would be lucky to book her!!
Me and my husband had the pleasure to work with Jenny Goodman. She was our wedding planner for our unforgettable wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. I trusted Jenny was going to deliver and do a great job. I had complete faith in her and the outcome of our wedding was spectacular. Sara was my day of coordinator for my wedding on August 7, 2016 at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach. But more than that she was a friend. She listened and helped me with everything that comes with planning a wedding. My mom was super emotional the day before at the rehearsal and Sara was able to speak to her in Spanish. That was so important to us!! The day of my wedding I was able to focus on getting ready and enjoying the biggest day of my life because I knew Sara had everything handled (including all of the vendors!!). She is very thorough and the definition of a professional. I absolutely recommend Sara!!!
We hired Jenny for a day of service coordinator. She and her team were AMAZING!!! We weren't sure if this was going to be worth our money going in, but she was worth EVERY dollar and more!!! We trusted her with so many details of the wedding and her expertise showed. She was very professional and breezed through any hiccups that came her way. Sara rocks socks! Hiring her and her team from At Your Door Events for our month of and day of coordination was seriously one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I found Sara through a friend of mine who recommended her services (she hired Sara for her wedding in August and raved about her enthusiasm and excitement so much that we had to meet with her!). After meeting with Sara, I knew I had to hire her! She has such a positive spirit and loves what she does so much that it makes it that much easier when turning over the details to her and letting her construct your wedding vision. While I spent the year planning EVERY detail of our wedding and designing the look to match our theme, Sara and her team made all the details come to live how I envisioned so well! Seeing pictures of just my cake and cupcake table and how she designed it all... I knew that she was going to make sure everything was perfect! But that's just one aspect of it all. The turnover process was so easy when I met with her 2 months out. She was INCREDIBLY thorough which was great for me because I was incredibly thorough with my planning. The turnover meeting went so well and it truly felt like Sara was taking over my baby to care for just as I would have. That helped put me at ease which was so great because as many of you know, planning a wedding can be intense, overwhelming, A LOT of work, and many times frustrating. Knowing that she was going to care about it all the way I had and would have was just what I needed. Furthermore, she was excellent in getting our bridal party inline during the rehearsal and wedding... which can be hard to do with so many unique personalities. All in all, Sara and her team are excellent and are a dream to work with! Sara just has that personality where you instantly want to be her friend and trust her judgments and know that she is going to make sure your wedding is the dream wedding you were always hoping for. I will definitely recommend At Your Door Events' services to anyone I know getting married in the future! Thank you! :)
I don't even know where to start. I hired jenny for my 10/02/2015 wedding. My venue was more of a DIY venue which totally WASNT my thing. My husband was totally against a "wedding planner" due to our budget but after our first meeting with jenny he said "I'm so glad you hired her" since I had all of my vendors already I really needed someone to just take over the day of and make sure everything was decorated and ran smoothly.. Saying Jenny and her team blew me away is an understatement. If it wasn't for jenny my wedding wouldn't have been half of the wedding it was. Not once did she bother me about a thing (I totally forgot desert trays for ALL my desert) you would think she would have asked me for them but hope. She magically made some trays appear. I again forgot to bring my three year olds change of clothes and her team ran to target for me to grab her clothes and myself slippers during the wedding! (Huge thank you!!) Everything ran smoothly to my knowledge and I got so many compliments on how the timing went of my wedding not to mention how she turned my venue upside down and made it look like a million dollar wedding! Jenny is by far the sweetest person you'll ever meet and my husband and I are both sad the weddings over since that means we won't be dealing with her anymore. If your looking for someone to genuinely take care of you and your wedding this is the company to go with. They will make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch! I only needed day of coordination for my wedding, and I got more than I expected! I worked with Sara, and she is the best! We had one formal meeting before my wedding and some email exchanges. She came the day of fully prepared and knowing everything! She made my day go so smoothly. I wish I would have worked with her for the whole planning process, but at least having her the day of was well worth it! Two thumbs up!
For the “day of” our wedding coordinator connected us with Sara from At Your Door Events which was one of the best things that could have happened. Sara was extremely professional, open to our ideas, and simply helpful. She assisted us in getting our gifts to a friend’s car, organize the sparklers exit, worked with the location staff to ensure all ran smooth, and checked in with the DJ to make sure he was on top of things. Many of our guests made positive comments about Sara’s ability to keep things flowing and running smoothly. We were impressed, happy, and over all content with the way Sara assisted in coordinating our reception. Highly recommend her.
Always there when you need them! They are the most organized, prepared, and multi-talented team you can find for you wedding. Everyone at my wedding had wonderful things to say about them, they were on top of everything, very courteous to our guests, friendly, and most of all they were always there when I needed them. I am so grateful to have hired them for my wedding!
Sara was absolutely amazing. I hired her for month of wedding coordination but my husband and I both agree if we could do it again, we would hire her to be our full time planner. I seriously cannot imagine my wedding without her because she makes it so stress free and seemingly stream-less. I know there were hiccups but she handled them so well you would never know they happened.
I also added on design guidance. When I hired Sara, I felt I had no wedding vision. I had a pinterest board full of contradicting ideas and I truly did not know where to go from there. As soon as she took 1 look at my board she fully understood where my mind was at. I had 2 different looks and vibes and she recommended merging them in a way I could never had thought of on my own.
Her excitement and enthusiasm is contagious. You can't help but be stress-free around her and she pays attention to what you want and helps you keep your budget in check. DEFINITELY recommend AYDE, and specifically Sara, for your wedding. And I truly truly recommend hiring her as a full time planner because she will make wedding planning so fun for you!!!!
jenny was an outstanding wedding planner and coordinator. She had great ideas, worked with us and our budget, pushed back on ideas that she made even better and had a constant smile and hearty laughter all the way through the process. If you are looking for the BEST of the BEST you have found them. At Your Door Events has been absolutely amazing and my only regret is that I did not hire them sooner! I fired my wedding coordinator two weeks before my wedding and my venue coordinator gave me AYDE contact information. When I called Jenny answered the phone and said she was available and we hit the ground running from that moment.
Jenny is so professional and is a no nonsense kind of person when it comes to the vendors however she is so nice and friendly when talking with her bride and groom almost like she is family. I just cannot sing her praises enough!! If you need a coordinator please, please do yourself a favor and hire these girls! Jenny and Sara really do know what they are doing.
Oh and on the day she comes equipped with a black suitcase emergency kit and a basket of water and snacks :) ----the little things!
Hiring Jenny was the most important step we took in the wedding. There is no way we can manage everything from start to end by ourself. Also, we may not know what to manage. She is the pro. She was equipped, skilled and teamed to make this happen like it never had any pain. Just amazing!
It's not just a wedding planning service, it's actually a team of smart, caring, go-have-a-glass-of-wine with ladies who feel like you've known them forever right by your side. Sarah and her team go above and beyond-seriously. There was some family tension and Sarah went literally out of her way (a second car trip) to handle the situation in the line of fire. My only regret is not upgrading and having Her as a partial planner instead of day-of services-although that still includes multiple check ins and mtgs well before too! Sarah and her team are just so lovely though I wish we could have spent more time together-she makes your stress disappear. Thank you!!!
The At Your Door Events Crew was so professional and helpful. If anything went wrong the day of the wedding I had no clue. It was so nice not have to worry about things getting done and it gave me such peace of mind knowing that my family and friends could enjoy the wedding and didn't have to worry about helping the day of the wedding. Honestly, the best money I spent for the wedding and would highly recommend them.
Wow!! Enough good things can't be said about about amazing At Yout Door Events was for my wedding ! From the day I met Sara she made me feel so comfortable which allowed me to give her the control of my wedding! She took charge the day of and made everything I told her come alive even better than I thought it could have been. We worked with Sara, who was our wedding planner from At Your Door Events. The venue we got married at required us to have a day of planner. If not for this stipulation, we probably would not have hired anyone. I am SO glad we did! Sara was great. She was supportive, calm, and able to respond to any hiccups that came up. Jenny Goodman and her team at At Your Door Events were absolutely amazing. They planned my incredible wedding at the end of August, and we just couldn't have asked for anything more. Their organization and contacts helped us get absolutely everything we wanted. I mean, we even had an artist drawing souvenirs for the guests during cocktail hour. The absolute best thing about her was when I said things like, "I want 8 ft live trees with deep red leaves lining the aisle" or "we need a string quartet to play the song the groom is writing 2 weeks before the wedding" or "we want to get 6 foot couches to the 71st floor of the tallest skyscraper in Los Angeles," she never said that we were crazy or it was out of our budget (and we certainly had a strict budget)- her response was ALWAYS, if that's what you want, we will make it happen. There were tons of other much more expensive wedding planners that I called before chosing Jenny, but even over the brief phone call I had with them, I knew they wouldn't be flexible enough to help me plan the unique wedding we were imagining. Jenny did not disappoint. And of course her ideas were absolutely brilliant- I mean she found us a venue at the top of the tallest skyscraper on the west coast, negotiated a price we could actually afford and covered it in sparkling candlelight. Incredible. But even after all that, she still managed to impress me with how quickly she smoothed over problems at the wedding- even serving out wine when drinks weren't coming out fast enough. I heard later that my wedding wasn't perfect- but I sure would never have known, and neither did my guests. I am still getting messages from my friends saying that we planned the best wedding they have ever been to, and wanting to know my secrets as they plan their own wedding. My first piece of advice is always... you better call Jenny.
At Your Door Events made every step of the way easier. Jenny helped us with so much information and made our wedding day perfect. Jenny and her staff were very professional and made sure everything went as planned, and if it didn't- I didn't know about it!! All of our little details came from paper to real life and it was amazing. Best day of our lives.
Jenny & her amazing team, At Your Door Events (AYDE), gave us a gorgeous wedding beyond what we could've imagined.
Prior to meeting Jenny, we had done extensive research with other event planners and even contemplated going without an event planner. We also visited many wedding venues and weren’t happy with what we were seeing. Thanks to the wedding Gods, we found Jenny.
At our first meeting (mind you no contract signed yet), she invited us to a hip hotel bar for drinks and Hors d'oeuvres. She spent several hours listening to our ideas, providing feedback and giving us wedding tips. She was even able to withstand all my husband’s drilling questions, he was a “Groomzilla” but a nice one lol. The same day we knew we found the right person to coordinate our wedding.
Jenny was able to organize our many ideas, complete tasks we asked of her, and always negotiated the best prices.
She was our wedding planner for a little over a year and we definitely thought we would get on her nerves or use up all her patience but no, she promptly responded to our emails, made herself available for vendor appointments and always gave us her signature sweet personality.
Two of our primary requirements for our wedding was that we didn't want a traditional venue and we wanted to incorporate a hybrid theme of Travel and Paris.
Jenny was able to quickly find us the perfect unique venue at an airplane hangar. She was also able to connect us to the right vendors and negotiate prices to be able to execute our hybrid theme. She was able to coordinate transforming the hangar into something out of a fairy tale. Along with the obvious wedding items, she was able to implement a 14 foot Eiffel tower, chandeliers hanging everywhere, beautiful lighting, dramatic draping, delicious catering, hip lounge/bar furniture, and custom linens. We even had a full size airplane as a backdrop! All our guests said the place felt so romantic. I was pretty astonished how someone could handle so many tasks for one day because there was so many details, customizations, and coordination that I am not mentioning here for brevity sake.
Jenny brings her awesome team the day of the wedding. My husband and I called Jenny’s team, “Jenny's fairys” because if we wanted something like a vendor to stay longer, handle an intoxicated guest, clean up a spill, move some props, they quickly and happily complied. I also have to mention that Jenny spends a good amount of her own time networking to find the best vendors and connections for her clients. This definitely paid off for our wedding because she was able to get us a famous Pop/R&B artist to perform at our wedding and it was a surprise to me and our guests. That in itself was a big coordination effort and went perfectly.
From beginning to end, our experience with Jenny was something we'll never forget.

Sara was such an amazing wedding planner. She was always on top of everything. She made sure to accommodate my needs as well as those of my difficult parents. I have zero complaints about my wedding day and feel so incredibly lucky to have had her as my planner.

From the first time I met Sara I was feeling so overwhelmed and wasn't sure if I was doing a good job in organizing everything, after the first meeting she put me on ease and I left from our meeting feeling like I could conquer it all and I wasn't alone! Any time I had a question I would email or call I'd get a quick reply back. Sara has tons of fantastic ideas to help your wedding day look beautiful. She also helped us figure out tips for vendors with a handy tip sheet and other important tips to make the day run smoothly. Our wedding day was fun, picture - perfect, and we couldn't have done without a coordinator. We hired At Your Door Events for Day of Coordinating- but wished we had hired her for more time with her. I had such a great experience working with At Your Door Events. Sara and her team were amazing during the planning phase and absolutely delivered on the day. I was definitely type A when it came to my wedding and had a PowerPoint with specific instructions, images and a whole bunch of over-the-top details. Sara didn't bat an eye at my craziness and brought my vision to life perfectly. It was like working with a friend and it was great knowing I was in good hands and didn't have to worry about a thing. At Your Door Events was my wedding planner, I choose them simply because I met with Jenny and liked what she could provide and price was within budget. I went in blind as I did not know their work. We were up against a timeline and had changes with the venue, which made things tight. In the end we loved the service providers (florist, shuttle service) that she brought to the party. The day of the wedding and reception were amazing, but some of the last minute running around details, could have been relieved if a dry run was done. (Overload on electrical circuits, pulling pictures for the reception from the house - I would have printed out family and friend photos)
Jenny is sooo wonderful! She is very organized and very professional. She truly loves her job as a wedding coordinator. My wedding was at the Kyoto Garden in May and she was extremely helpful in helping me plan my wedding. On the day of my wedding she even went out of her way to plan the littlest details. She even brought in beautiful diamond framed table numbers and even made my bouquets tossing for me on the spot, since i did not have one. I do recommend her for any bride to be!
