We highly recommend Banks Entertainment. They were great to work with. I personally wished the communication was better but that doesn't take away from the great service provided by the DJ. I give all the credit to our DJ Dre! He was amazing and followed our plan to the T. Even with the slight malfunction of a blown circuit due to heavy rains, we lucked out with an impromptu volunteer violinist who helped get the ceremony started. We danced the night away without pause. I highly recommend the group photo in the beginning to get things started and don't do any slow songs besides the obvious first ones. We went fast, fast, fast and it was an amazing fun evening! Thanks Dre (and Brandon-Good Luck!)
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. Where to start…… the communication before the wedding was awful.
Day of the wedding, our songs we chose to walk down the aisle were completely wrong. The DJ changed the song as my spouse was half way down the aisle. The micro phone during the ceremony the WHOLE time. The DJ stood there without any attempt to fix it. The songs during the wedding reception were not what we picked. Even after I went up and spoke with the DJ.
We gave the owner a chance to fix this and make it right after the wedding but of course they halfway tried. I wouldn’t refer this place to my worst enemy.
I was very disappointed with our experience. A great DJ and an amazing dance floor were our top priorities for the wedding. Initially, communication was excellent, but as we got closer to the date, I had to send multiple follow-up emails and voicemails to get in touch. I didn’t hear back until the week of the wedding, which caused a lot of stress and made it feel rushed. Despite it being “the busy season,” every couple deserves to feel valued and heard.
Unfortunately, the DJ did not live up to our expectations either. Only about 3-5 of our Must Plays were played, and one of our Do Not Plays made an appearance. This was a huge letdown, especially after spending hours curating the perfect playlist. The next day, we kept saying, “Oh, he didn’t play this song,” which was frustrating. Additionally, the mixing felt odd and random, with moments of silence.
While his music selection was still good and we enjoyed ourselves in the moment, I felt disregarded as the bride and, looking back, believe we missed out on having OUR dance floor.

Banks Entertainment was easy to work with from financials to planning and making sure our day ran smoothly. Mitchell did a great job both addressing our music requests and selecting songs that got people dancing on our wedding day. We had so much fun on the dance floor!
The Banks staff was terrific to work with leading up to the wedding. We had several meetings to help pick out songs and they helped build a timeline, which was nice because I didn’t have a planner. Banks did photography, photobooth and dj services for us. Michael our photographer did a great job and we LOVE the pictures. Our dj was Elijah, he helped make some last minute changes go smooth and played our playlist and kept the dancing going all night! So fun! Highly recommend
Tee was such a wonderful DJ to work with. He was overly communicative, flexible, and offered wonderful advice in all of our consultations. There were many timeline changes due to the rain and he worked with me and my husband to adjust everything to our needs. The music was perfect and the guests had a wonderful time on the dance floor. I only wish we could have danced longer because the music was so great, but he dealt with every challenge with grace and patience. Thank you Tee!

I used Banks Entertainment for my wedding. They were a fantastic team to work with, and I really appreciated their professional attitude and ability to take stress off the planning process. On the wedding day they did an amazing job DJing, keeping my guests dancing and just making sure everything went smooth. The uplight display was also really beautiful and was exactly what i wanted. Our DJ was Logan and we loved having him! We added on the photobooth too, and our guests seemed to enjoy it.
I recently booked Banks Entertainment to provide DJ and lighting for my wedding. I was really happy with the service they provided. They arrived on time, kept to the schedule, and were a lot of fun to work with. Their mix of old-school and modern dance music kept people dancing all night long. We used Banks for our wedding this past October. Up to the wedding day, I would have fully recommended them. However, I don’t want other brides to fall for the reviews that are good like I did.
From one bride to another, DON’T use this company. We gave them a playlist for the reception, and none of our music was played. For cocktail hour, they did follow our music, but they didn’t mix the songs up like they said they would (when I wrote the songs down, I didn’t shuffle them) so multiple songs by the same artist played back to back. When the dancing part started, none of the music was correct. My coordinator told the DJ multiple times that the music was wrong, but they blamed not having the right music on the wifi connection. I can’t wrap my head around why the music wasn’t downloaded. They even played songs that we specifically told them NOT to play. The planning sheet even has sections for genres that we wanted and didn’t want, and the music didn’t even follow this. At the very least, if the wifi was the problem, they should have tried to play music that was similar to our preferences.
Over 4 hours of music, full of songs that meant a lot to my husband and I, was not used.
It felt like the DJ was unprepared despite two meetings beforehand. The DJ that showed up wasn’t even the one who I worked through the schedule with.
I have been trying for almost 4 weeks to get in contact with them about this situation. I was told twice that the owner would contact me, and I haven’t heard a word. They’ve even ghosted my emails now.
PLEASE, from one bride to another, don’t put yourself through this! I truly feel like my reception was ruined because of this, and I don’t want other brides doing through this!!
We had a wonderful experience for our wedding on 10/01/2023! The guys were right on time, there were perfect transitions for every song, and volume was great. We had a transition at 8 pm to a more party vibe and they did great with that. They were super cool and made sure to follow the do not play list we came up with beforehand!
Logan was such a blast, and he played the best music.
The photobooth was also such a big hit!

I recently used Banks Entertainment for my wedding and I am very pleased with the services they provided. The staff was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. They took the time to understand our requests and did a great job executing them on the day of the wedding.
The DJ also had a great sense of timing and was able to keep an upbeat vibe on the dance floor all night. He also took requests from guests and played songs that were meaningful to us as a couple.
Overall, Banks Entertainment made our wedding planning process easy and stress-free. They communicated clearly throughout and met our expectations on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend their services!
The venue we chose for our wedding has an exclusive contract with Banks for their packages which didn't appear to be an issue based on their ratings and conversations we had with them. However, wedding day was less than satisfactory. We had 140 guests. Issues: 1). Only half our guests could hear the music or announcements due to speakers only being set in front of the dj stand. This resulted in ppl crowding up around other tables to hear the speeches as well as leaving early. Not only was the sound very low and centered it was not clear. Had a muffled sound to it.
2). Our wedding party entrance song was not played. Instead they skipped to the song my groom and I were coming out to so the party had to toss their planned entrance skit. Plus we could barely hear the music to enter to.
3). DJ trying to be sarcastic after a few spontaneous toasts by saying "okay, anyone else?" To which someone raised their hand and she proceeded to respond "oh that was a joke" and was actually reluctant to give them the mic. I understand keeping a timeline but sarcasm in a time where people are being sentimental is not ideal.
4). I was required to turn in a timeline which I took very seriously and made sure to include all our favorite music as well as a few songs I wanted to dance with my husband to. After a week stressing over this timeline not even half of it was played. The DJ free styled and played music I've never heard of and skipped songs I had an asterisk next to even after a thorough phone call the week before going over our music selection.
5). After all this I typed an email to voice our disappointment and not a single response. I cc'd the main contact email foe Banks as well as Caitlyn whom I did most pre wedding communications with and the DJ who had reached out to me about the timeline. Not one person with Banks entertainment cares enough about having let us down on our wedding night to give a quick response to our feedback. As a business owner I find this very unprofessional and would not recommend them for any occasion. This is not what I'd expect from a DJ service that is part of a $12,000 venue package.

all of our events, including yours. However, I understand that you still experienced some issues with the sound quality on your special day. It is worth noting that we are at this venue every single week and have never received any complaints about sound quality before. In addition, we did raise this issue with the management at the venue and they reported no complaints about the sound either. Nevertheless, I want to assure you that we take feedback from our clients seriously and will certainly look into ways we can improve upon our services in the future. As a reminder to all our clients, we kindly ask that all final song requests for weddings be submitted by the Monday prior to the event. This is outlined in both our contract and welcome packet, as it allows us ample time to prepare and ensure that your special day runs smoothly. While we always do our best to accommodate any last-minute changes or requests, we cannot guarantee their fulfillment due to time constraints. I wanted to address your feedback regarding the DJ's reaction to the spontaneous toasts at your event. As someone who takes all feedback seriously, I reached out to your DJ, Bethany, as well as the management of your venue and other industry professionals for their input. To my surprise, the feedback I received from them was quite different from what you had shared. They all praised Bethany for her professionalism and ability to accommodate spontaneous toasts with ease. None of them felt that she was being sarcastic in any way. I understand that perceptions can vary and that it's important to consider all perspectives when evaluating an issue. We understand the importance of playing the songs that our clients have requested. We strive to create a memorable experience for each and every event, and we recognize that music plays a big role in achieving this goal. While we aim to accommodate all song requests, there may be times when events are pushed back or unforeseen circumstances arise (pictures taking longer than expected, additional toasts), which can create time constraints. Despite these challenges, our team is committed to doing everything within our power to ensure that your requested songs are played. I apologize that you feel our performance may have affected your wedding film in some way. As a seasoned professional in the wedding industry with 18 years of experience as both a DJ and a videographer, I can assure you that the DJ does not impact the final film. Your wedding film has its own unique music selection, and the DJ's announcements are not included in the final product. It is important to note that your email expressing these concerns was sent only days after your wedding, more than likely before you had even seen your completed film as it takes longer than a few days to edit a wedding film. Banks Entertainment blew us away! They were so easy to work with and they executed the music perfectly. They paid attention to guests and changed songs when they felt the vibe with deflating. We absolutely LOVED them!
We chose the DJ option 4 which included extra LED uplighting, a monogram light, and Marquee letters. We were able to make payments for this. We were contacted by Banks Entertainment a couple months prior to the wedding so we could discuss timeline and our vision for the DJ. We filled out a form selecting songs/types of music we wanted/didn’t want. About a week or two prior we spoke to the DJ and finalized everything. The day of the DJ arrived on time and got everything prepared. During our reception he was flexible with the thousand requests he was receiving from my husband and I and the guests. He kept everyone dancing which was exactly what we wanted! We wanted a dance party of a reception and the DJ made this possible! We had the best night ever and we are so thankful for a DJ who listened to us and kept the party going.
All the prep work, be that setting up meetings and getting things scheduled wasn't the best. The day of, they were amazing! Our original DJ got sick day of the event and Cameron filled in last minute and did a fantastic job! We would highly recommend for your wedding!
It seemed like our DJ was very new. I didn't get his name, but the wrong songs were played for our processional, and during the reception all the line dance songs were played one right after another instead of being spaced out. Overall, he was very low energy and didn't do anything to hype up the crowd.
Overall, my hubby and I really liked working with Banks as our DJ. The payment plan and picking the options was super easy. However, they were a little slow on replying – especially as we got closer to the wedding date and it got harder on our side to make things work. We did end up spending extra for a mic to make sure our wedding readers had a mic, which we weren't super excited about – it was about $150 for an extra mic. That being said, they made that change the day before our wedding and were super accommodating. Brad, our DJ, was very friendly, took our phone calls, worked with all our song requests (even the ones we only wanted to play for specific amounts of times), and did a great job of keeping things moving and announcing everything during the evening. Overall, would recommend. Just watch those extras and make sure to keep communication open!
Used Banks Entertainment for our DJ and Photo Booth and it was the best decisions. The dj was super professional and played the music at the perfect volume for dancing but not so loud you couldn’t talk and chat. The Photo Booth was so fun and the perfect favor for our guests. They were able to get it sent directly to their phone and we got all of the photos for us to save and print off later! Everyone had a blast getting to take pictures and be goofy!
Brad was the best DJ!! He was super fun and welcoming! We had Banks Entertainment through our venue, but Banks made it super easy to plan and we had meetings prior to the wedding to make sure everything was what we wanted!

Banks entertainment was very easy to work with and communicate with. Our DJ was really great, he was go with the flow and listened to what we wanted! They went over a detailed list with us and make sure we had all the music we wanted. The DJ was great at announcing and was quick to ask us or my mom about a timeline thing or anything he needed.
Banks entertainment made the timeline process a breeze! They were incredibly kind and fun to talk to and our DJ Sam was the hit of our wedding! Truly! Haha He was my right hand guy always checking in with me and being so attentive to my guests and their requests. He even got out on the dance floor and taught our guests the right dance moves! Jose was awesome! He kept the party alive and people on the dance floor. He even gave a merengue tutorial for my family members who did not know the steps. He went above and beydon to make sure everything was perfect. 10/10 do recommend for weddings!

Banks entertainment basically made my wedding. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Our DJ showed up an hour early, set up, had wonderful ideas, and really worked the night. He danced with us and was so much fun! Even before the wedding, we chatted over the phone twice and worked out our vision. He really made it come to life!!!
Jose went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. Not only did the music bring everyone together to have a blast but he also got out on the dancefloor to teach specific dances that went to certain songs! He made the day go by so much easier by also MC-ing the reception around our schedule. He even got my husband and I our food and had it ready for us so we didn’t have to worry about a thing after our grand entrance. His outgoing personality and fun-loving, positive attitude made all of our guests feel comfortable to get down! Overall we couldnt have asked for a better DJ service. I would highly recommend booking him for any social event!
Sam was our DJ and he was incredible!!! Throughout the day he would check on me, my groom, and my parents to make sure everyone had what they needed. Sam kept the music pumping and the dance floor full. He even got out an danced with us at the end of the night. He did an awesome job!!!

Mike De La Cruz, the DJ for our wedding, was amazing! After setting up the timeline and details weeks in advance, I never once had to worry about what was coming next, getting things started, or introducing the next part of the day. It was all taken care of and was done completely smoothly! Mike did a great job at staying on schedule and played a great mix of songs. I would highly suggest Banks Entertainment. Everyone was incredibly professional, organized, and fun. They did an incredible job!
We booked Banks Entertainment/Studios for our DJ, Photography, Videography, and Photobooth. Banks Entertainment/Studios made our wedding day go so smoothly. Everyone was so easy going and so great to work with. I just want to add in also what a phenomenal job everyone did. I loved how Mike interacted with the guests. Mike was on time for everything and made sure to keep everything/everyone going. I don’t see a lot of DJ’s interact the way Mike did. Arielle was great with the photobooth, she had all the guests interacting with the photobooth. Holly and Brooklyn were so easy going and had great personalities and our pictures went so smoothly. Mandy and Connor were so helpful and Mandy was so great and had a great personality as well. Keith was always helpful and making sure my needs were met! Y’all did such a great job and I am in love with all the pictures! Mandy did such an amazing job on our video! Overall Banks Entertainment/Studios is the way to go! Loved Banks Entertainment!! Everything was really easy to work out and plan. We initially did not have any idea of what music to play, but they helped walk us thru it and set up a great playlist. Mike was our DJ and did a wonderful job. We had to move some timelines around during the wedding and he didn't hesitate to make it work and help with the transitions.
We had a wonderful experience with Banks! Our DJ was Alejandro, and he kept everything moving. I loved his personal song selections, as well as his commitment to playing some of our favorites. From start to finish, everything with Banks was easy to take care of, and they are wonderful about working with you to find the perfect music to suite you. I would recommend Banks Entertainment to any couple looking for a DJ for their special day. They won't disappoint!
Banks did a good job. We requested some Spanish music to be mixed in with English, which they did. However, he played several Spanish songs in a row and we had to ask for more balance. He also played the wrong song version for the father daughter dance. This isn’t 100% his fault, but he didn’t play the song for us beforehand or ask if he had the correct version.

They were extremely helpful in the planning phase as I didn't use a wedding planner so they were communicating with me directly. I was worried about this, but it was super easy to communicate and plan with them! I don't live in the same city, but we were able to plan over the phone and through email. The DJ arrived in plenty of time to get everything set up. He was very professional, but also fit right in with our family and friends. He was also laid back and super fun, which is what we, our family, and friends are all about. Banks helped our wedding be exactly what we wanted!
We used Banks Entertainment for our wedding on June 29th, 2019! The staff were amazing and extremely helpful which made the whole process go smoothly! I heard about Banks Entertainment at the Tulsa Wedding Show last August. From there, I met with them in September to obtain more information about available services and pricing. Banks Entertainment has a variety of package options and various add-ons available for very reasonable prices!
Jose Socorro was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing!! At one point, he had every single guest out on the dancefloor!! Jose and I were in contact a few weeks before the event. Throughout that time we emailed and texted, back and forth, regarding music styles, playlists, timeline, and a surprise mother/daughter dance for my Mom!
I would 100% recommend Banks Entertainment for any event and will most definitely plan to use them again in the future!
Banks entertainment made planning the music for our wedding so easy! They were willing to work with us when we didn't live in state on setting up phone meetings, and worked with us on editing our parent dance songs! They were so helpful, and the DJ on our wedding day was amazing! He really knew how to read the room to play the best music for the crowd and the moment!
We found Banks Entertainment through the Tulsa Wedding Show, and I am so glad we did. Banks Entertainment was amazing from start to finish! We were in the very beginning stages of planning the wedding whenever we found Banks, and they helped us by giving advice on many things such as lighting, decorations, and even the types of cakes. They had many vendors in mind that they were able to recommend to us as well. Our DJ, Jose Socorro, was the BEST! He was so outgoing and fun. He was able to get everyone out on the dance floor and keep them out there. He showed up early to the event to set everything up and to make sure everything was working properly. After the wedding, the guests were all saying that they loved the DJ and were talking about how much fun he was. Everyone was so nice and really worked well with us. I highly recommend Banks Entertainment!
We had Jose as our DJ and he was incredible! He did exactly what I wanted and when things needed to be changed up last meet he would do what I asked to get what I wanted. He is very friendly and affordable and makes sure you have the best wedding day! Highly recommend for everyone to use Jose!
We Banks for our oldest daughters wedding 2 years ago and they did a fantastic job. Tee, our dj, was great at playing exactly what we asked and on cue. So we hired them again for our second daughter's wedding without even considering anyone else. We had the wedding at the botanic gardens where they had never done and event and they sent a rookie dj. Needless to say, we were disappointed that they didn't check out the venue beforehand. My husbands well rehearsed speech to his daughter was ruined because the dj was unprepared with a portable mic that could pick up from the other side of the room. So every other word cut out on him! Embarrassing in front of 250 people! The ceremony music had several poor segues. Sorry Banks, you will not be hired when our third daughter gets married.
First, I'll say their office staff is fantastic, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my DJ, Micah, the monogram, or the response after our event. If you live in OKC, all your appointments are going to be over the phone because they have no office in OKC. I did not meet my DJ until two weeks before our event. He was very distracted because he just started a new, demanding job. Then when I text him a very important detail, he waited to respond for an entire week with a question. After that we made a couple small changes which I sent as a text, there was never a response to those and he failed to implement the changes.
He showed up only one hour before my guests, which was an hour later than he told us. Then during the night, he was not engaging my guest complained about how “fake” he was and that he seemed to want to be elsewhere. I rarely heard him say anything. We were running very behind schedule and that was NOT his fault, but there was no attempt to entertain my guests except just playing songs that no one danced too. Also, my “monogram” was about 1’ at the largest part of the circle. It just looked weird; it wasn’t even where people were dancing, so none of my photos showed it except the ones of just that.
The worst part is that I emailed the office to tell her what happened and that I was disappointed it had been several days and no survey was sent. She said she didn’t send the survey because I had already expressed my displeasure. I told her I wanted to tell someone about my experience and she said they would call. I emailed once again, and she assured me I was on the owner’s schedule for the following week. That was over a month ago with no call back to this date from anyone. I would definitely NOT recommend this company.
I would re-hire Tee (Torrance) in a heartbeat! He did a fantastic job of keeping our reception moving along; playing music that kept our dance floor full and our guests happy; and handled everything with great professionalism. We received a lot of positive feedback on him!
Everyone from Banks was spectacular in every way! They were very easy to contact and plan with from a distance. The photographers did an amazing job and were fun to hang out with and the DJ was just the same! The lighting was also a total mood setter and so beautiful. 11/10 would recommend.

Everyone had such a great time at our wedding! The Dj kept everyone dancing! The staff was very organized, and had good attention to detail. They were extremely helpful with our music timeline and making sure everything flowed smoothly. Our package included Dance lessons and the instructor was great and so much fun!

Our experience with Banks was great We were able to meet over the phone and through email, which worked very well for us. Banks was such a great DJ service to work with! Caleb was our DJ and he really helped make sure we had time to mingle with our guests, but also made sure we stayed on schedule. All of our guests had such a wonderful time, and he really did a great job with the music and keeping a feel for what the guests wanted. I highly recommend using them!
Banks Entertainment was the best DJ company we have ever used hands down. Everyone loved how interactive the DJ was, and the music selection was perfect. He had everyone out on the dance floor all night long! Thank you guys again for everything!
Banks did such an amazing job, and followed through with everything they promised. Because of them, my wedding day was perfect and so much fun! They were so helpful with everything. Music selection, guest interaction, they even made sure my husband and I always had a drink! I 100% recommend them to anyone!

Banks Entertainment was wonderful to work with. The sound was wonderful during our outdoor reception so everyone could hear the music and speaking. We had Mike from Banks Entertainment be our DJ. Banks Entertainment also provided the big LOVE marquee letters that looked amazing! We had two meetings with Mike before our day and we could tell he really listened to us and helped us create a timeline that worked perfectly for what we wanted. He was on time and was amazing at playing the right music and keeping everything on schedule! He even got out and helped some of our guests do the group dance to certain songs! All in all Banks was an amazing choice for a DJ.
We really loved how we could personalize our song choices, and our DJ, Ethan, was fun and really read the room well. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that I requested not to do the "group photo trick" during the reception, and it was announced still. I just thought it was a little too corny for the feel of my wedding. Other than that, I loved used Banks!
Mike was our DJ, and we actually got to meet with him 2 times prior to the wedding. He made setting a day of wedding timeline in the first face to face appointment and picking out songs in the last appointment so easy and fun. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, even in the middle of the reception when we had no idea what we should be doing. Highly recommend! He even got out and danced to encourage our group to dance.

Ended up firing the DJ. We had asked several times for him to alternate the music between Hispanic and American. The closest we got to hispsnic music was the Macarena. Several guest requested songs, and we never heard them. I personally requested a song and it never got played. Finally, Freddy, owner of the Metroplex, noticed that we were getting very frustrated with the DJ, and he offered to DJ the rest of the evening for us.
Overall, this was a great DJ service. The pricing was reasonable, the music was good, and our contact with the company was very responsive to our emails. The DJ we had at the wedding was not the one we interviewed with, and that was a bit of a disappointment because I really enjoyed meeting with DJ Mickey. Our DJ was alright for the most part; my biggest issue was he was a bit over the top. He instructed my photographer to bustle my dress so it wouldn’t get dirty, something that we had already discussed beforehand. He also was rushing the timeline and tried to discuss it with my husband and I during our private dinner. It was just not the best experience with the DJ personally, but the music was good and my guests enjoyed it. I believe our DJ’s name was Caleb, but we only had one very brief introduction. A solid option, but I wish we would have had the DJ we were told we would have.
Banks was a phenomenal DJ service to work with! I had Caleb as my DJ and he did a fantastic job about making sure that we stayed on schedule but also allowed us to have time to talk to all our guests. Everyone there loved him and he was great with the kids and playing fun music. I highly recommend using them!!!
Great business who kept us apprised throughout the entire process. We were very open to their suggestions and they did a good job of gauging the dance floor. The only issue we had - we requested radio edited songs because some of the items we wanted were not something you wanted your 80 year-old grandmother to hear. Several unedited songs slipped in and we occasionally heard a "n*gg*r," *sh*t," and "f*ck." Not ideal but no one seemed to notice. Overall we were very satisfied with their service and would choose them again!
Our experience was great and very smooth! We were able to meet over the phone and through email. They were very organized with timelines and song lists, as well as getting a dj to match our personality and preferences. We were also very pleased with the monogram light and uprights. Our dj, Mike, was fantastic at guiding the crowd to where their attention needed to be and transitioning to what was next. Our coordinator left with a few hours to go during the wedding, and Mike kept everything on schedule while also asking us what we wanted to do and when. He was involved with the crowd, but not intrusive. Everyone was dancing the whole time, actually listened to the toasts, watched the first dances, etc. and we believe he played a big part in that!
I agreed to an appointment to discuss options at Banks Entertainment. When I arrived the door was locked, and the person I was supposed to meet wasn't there. After calling and getting the door unlocked, another individual led me to a desk to discuss options. When it was time to go I asked for a copy of the brochure. He asked if I could just look the information up in their online brochure because he had very few left. The online brochure had a page that was hard to read. I asked for a copy of it and he seemed put off. What was he saving those for?! A potential customer like me, right?!

Banks Entertainment was OUTSTANDING. The process was smooth and effortless, the options were great, the add-ons were creative, and our DJ (Steven) was amazing! I highly recommend working with this great company!

My wife and I got married Oct 7th this year and we hired Banks Entertainment to DJ our wedding. We were very, very unhappy with the turnout. First off, my little sister got married and used them and referred us. Had we not already booked and payed before my sisters wedding, we would have never hired them. We met with them the first time and we explained how my little sisters wedding was a fail and how ours needed to be a knock out... For referring a friend, you are supposed to get a $100 gift card... its been 2 and a half months and my little sister is still waiting to see that $100..We have even called and contacted them and they assured it was on the way.... We had a whole dinner playlist wrote out, sent to our DJ and were promised it would be played during dinner.... Not a single song from our playlist was played, and when we confronted him, he told us he "had a scratch on the disc"... During the ceremony itself, he used a IPod/MP3 player hooked to a speaker so apparently the disc was scratched... still a mystery to me.. Also our DJ felt it totally necessary to serve our dinner for us before our grand entrance so it was there waiting for us when we got there. We told him specifically we didn't want him to but he did anyways. So in a way, we felt like we couldn't even enjoy our caterer either because Caleb felt necessary to throw food on a plate for us... didn't care to ask what we liked or wanted on the plate. He just piled it on. He also threw a fit because we wanted to take 30 minutes to do sunset photos with our photographer... His job is to entertain and he acted like he couldn't do that without us for a few minutes. We got our wedding photos back and it was so worth pissing him off and doing the sunset photos anyways. When its all said and done, Caleb and Banks Entertainment promised our wedding day would be everything we wanted and more and unfortunately, it really wasn't. He was so concerned with staying on a time schedule instead of making the day about the bride and groom. If you are considering Banks Entertainment, I'd highly consider you moving on from that idea...

ly made it sound as if we were responsible for the events that occurred at your sister's wedding. The events that occurred on April 29th, 2017 were out of our control. The mass flooding and torrential rain that caused highways and roads to either be flooded or closed caused the DJ to arrive later than the planned arrival time. However, he still arrived before the scheduled start time. The argument that your family brought to us after that wedding saying, "If the DJ would have arrived four hours early we might of started early." was completely ridiculous. After thousands of completed events, we have never had a wedding start early for any reason. Our contract clearly states that we are not responsible for anything out of our control including "acts of god". A tree falling outside the wedding venue and knocking out the power before the ceremony began is considered an "act of god". Per our contract, I did not have to refund any money, although I did refund everything but the DJ compensation because we felt that was the right thing to do, in a situation where no one was at fault. I do not appreciate you trying to pass blame onto us in regards to your sister's wedding. I am truly sorry if a song skipped or something wasn't played. We strive to play everything that is on the request list. Our DJ's are trained to help out and go above and beyond. I am sorry that you did not appreciate Caleb trying help out and make your night more enjoyable by getting your plates and drinks. Typically there is a main entree with multiple sides that the bride and groom pick out with their caterer ahead of time that normally they choose to their liking. I will make sure in our training program that we teach our staff what to do at events with multiple items on the menu. Asking the bride and groom first will definitely be added. We meet with our clients twice before the wedding to ensure that they choose the timeline. As the DJ, it is our job to make sure that everything on the schedule does get done in a timely fashion. We conduct ourselves in a professional manner and do not "throw fits" at weddings. Most weddings take sunset pictures so that is nothing new to us. I'm glad your sunset pictures turned out great! He got our wedding guests dancing, but ignored some of my requests. One man we met with was great - made us feel welcomed and like we'd made a great choice! The man we met with who was actually the DJ for our wedding treated me like some typical bride and seemed very uninterested. But, at the end of the day, he got all the big deal songs right and the dance floor was full for our entire reception.
Everything was perfect! From the lights, the Monogram dance floor, to the dance lessons!! The DJ even let our 6 year old stand back there and let him have the head phones and pretend to be the DJ! He loved it! They really care about you and your vision for your wedding, and kept everyone entertained!
Found Banks through the Tulsa Wedding Show. They were very professional and good with communication throughout our planning process. They provide a lot of different services, from uplighting and lighting design, to dance lessons, to of course, being the DJs. One of my favorite things they do is create a day of timeline for you from the start of their set up, throughout your ceremony and into and all through your reception. Mike was our DJ and he was fabulous about keeping our guests engaged and interested without being “too much.” He was great about coming to me whenever it was time to do something such as the cake cutting or garter toss to touch base and make sure we would be near by for those big events, but he did so without interfering with us enjoying the reception. We got lots of compliments from our guests about how fun and engaging the DJ was!
We had Mike as our dj and he was fantastic. Everything leading up to the wedding was great too! I had so many compliments about how much fun everybody had because of how great mike was. I’ve never seen so many people on the dance floor for such an extended amount of time. I would recommend banks entertainment in a heart beat.
Mike was an awesome DJ, and even got on the dance floor to teach our guests the dances! Everything went a lot faster than planned, so Mike jumped right in and made things go smoothly. Stephanie made our first dance awesome and memorable, even though we forgot to put my train up! The monogram wasn't in the place that we had initially discussed, and the uplighting wasn't used as much as I thought it would be (we bought 16 and I think only 10 max were used), but details.
We booked with Banks at a wedding show in 01/2017. It was super easy to book with them, and they have amazing prices.
We had a few interviews where we nailed down the details of our wedding, and expectations, before they assigned us our DJ. I have no complaints about this process.
We had Jack for our wedding DJ, and he was AMAZING. Leading up to the wedding, he was speedy and immediate to answering any questions we had. Jake was SO much fun, he knew what we wanted from a DJ and he did so great, not only playing awesome songs the whole night long, but keeping all of us entertained the entire night. Our guests complimented us on Jake all night, 1 of the guests even decided she would book with Banks because of how wonderful He did. I cant come up with a single problem, only all good memories from this night. Thanks so much Jake!!
The only complaint I can give is, when trying to reach their office personnel, be prepared for un-answered emails. Maybe I should have just stuck to phone calls, but they could use a little more organization in the office. Nobody was rude or un-professional by any means, but as a Bride, I couldn't stand sending questions in an email and it not getting responded to, then after waiting several days, reaching out again.. I feel that could use some work.
Overall I had a good experience with Banks Entertainment but there were some bumps in the road. First the with the phone meetings. One I was told the wrong date for so I had to take off work twice for it. And on another occasion they were 30 minutes late calling which again caused me to take off work for no reason. However they were extremely helpful with creating a wedding timeline and laying out how everything would go down. I didn't have a wedding planner so this was very helpful to me. The DJ arrived on time he Day of the wedding and got everything set up without assistance. Everything went off without a hitch during the ceremony & reception. However the DJ's personality clashed a bit with my maid of honor. He wasn't rude by any means but definitely very Type A and hands on which caused some tension with my maid of honor who felt like he was trying to tell her what to do. Overall a good experience & I'm glad we chose Banks Entertainment.
Banks Entertainment is the best!! Our DJ's name was Jose. My husband & I just got married on 9/16/17, but I had met Jose at a wedding show about a year prior. He seriously was THE BEST. He helped with little details that aren't even part of his job description. He walked us through everything. We had a couple of meetings with him just to make sure all of us were still on the same page etc. They definitely keep you in the loop and are very quick to make any changes or to meet any needs you might have. And my husband & I are very thankful that when we requested Jose to DJ our wedding... they gave us Jose. We are so thankful to have found Banks Entertainment & now we have a new friend for life-Jose. �

For the most part I was happy with Banks. Our DJ at the wedding was Matt, and he was great! The owner Keith was also very helpful and accommodating! However, everything leading up to the wedding was a little annoying and stressful. I had to call and ask to schedule meetings with the DJ and call to ask about things they originally told me they would contact me about. I was also not told that when I sign my contract I couldn't adjust items like lighting or other props. Britney in the office was always rude when I called and never followed through with anything that I was told she was in charge of.
The process leading up to the wedding with Banks was okay and I felt confident in them going into wedding day...our DJ however allowed awkward gaps between songs more than once and the reception didn't flow as well as it was promised. He also had to ask me questions (during the reception) that we had already discussed more than once and also only played 3 of the songs I had on my 'must play' list. Several of my guests were disappointed in the music & flow, so I'd pass on recommending.
For the most part, Banks did a wonderful job for our wedding.
Pros: They gave us a discount since our wedding was on a Friday and another discount because we signed up during our venue's open house. They were one of the more reasonably priced DJs that we met with. Our package came with up-lighting and it looked gorgeous for our stage! They are very helpful when planning out a timeline for your day and making sure they play songs you want and don't want. They were good about answering any questions we had leading up to the wedding.
Cons: We had changed the timeline we made with them originally after talking with our photographer. We spoke with our DJ the week of our wedding and altered the timeline no problem. After our grand intro we were supposed to go straight into our first dance; however, a different song started playing and guests were told to grab food. This did cause a hiccup in our night. I met with the photographer and DJ to get everything in order. I felt like I was having to monitor everything that night to make sure nothing was missed. He did good job in making sure to accomplish everything, but it would have been a lot less stressful if he had the appropriate timeline. The music overall was good; although, it didn't feel like our must play song were played until we specifically asked for that genre while dancing.
Overall, I would recommend Banks Entertainment! I would just make sure everything is set prior to the start of your event.
We had a terrible experience with Banks Entertainment. Jose Did NOT do a good job for us. Keith, the owner was previously aware of problems and did nothing. The company is also refusing to make this right. I will never recommend this company to anyone. My daughters wedding was ruined!

We were so pleased with Banks, especially once we met with some of the fellas to get down to planning the timeline and our music. Once we met our DJ, Matt, we felt really confident that we would have a lovely reception with great music all night. We also used Banks for their dance lessons, Stephanie was fantastic and we enjoyed getting the chance to show some of our friends how a 'first dance' is done. Overall great and cannot wait to see how Banks takes care of some of our friends in December!
We had a great experience with Banks Entertainment. Gianna was always helpful and quick to answer and questions I had. For our initial meeting we met with Mike, who was extremely helpful and kind. We also met with him the week before our wedding; our assigned DJ apparently was not able to make it due to a work conflict. While at the time it was a bit concerning that we didn't get to meet or speak with our DJ prior to the wedding, he was great and we were very happy with his service. Stephen did a great job! The only thing that was off was that we were not supposed to do a bouquet or garter toss and they were both announced. But we made it work! All other announcements and songs played were right on. I would certainly recommend this vendor.
My husband and I were greatly dissapointed in Banks. Meeting with Rob at the beginning was amazing and had our hopes up, but after that, it was not a great experience. We had the owner Keith Banks as our DJ, so we thought we were in great hands. He was suppossed to arrive at 8am to set up the lights, but didn't arrive til 1pm. All looked beautiful, so that worked out. However, he played the wrong mother/son dance, even though we recieved the final timeline from Banks and all was correct. We were all so bummed as my mother in law specifically choose that song for her dance with her son and that's a big moment that you can't get back. They always say not everything goes right on your wedding day, but we didn't think the mistakes and stress would come from our DJ :/
Our DJ was such a stress reliever. He knew exactly where to set up at our venue, coordinated the whole day by announcing when to exit ceremony and what to Do next so our guests weren't wandering around. He also announced our honeymoon fund jar several times, and directed people to come get cake, when to eat, etc. On top of that, he played the perfect music to keep people dancing. It was a day wedding so we were worried people wouldn't want to dance, but our DJ took care of our worries! He faded out our music perfectly during the ceremony too so that my 5 minute entrance song didn't sound like it was just cut off after the 60 seconds I needed to get down the isle.
Even scheduling meetings and calls with Banks Entertainment before the wedding was a breeze and so helpful. If you're wanting a smooth wedding and don't have a lot of extra help coordinating the day like me... go with Banks Entertainment. 💕
Banks Entertainment was recommended to me by my wedding coordinator, and I initially worked with Rob who really helped me decide on a package that best suited our needs/wants. After some initial consultations and questionnaires, they paired us with Will who did a fantastic job as our MC/DJ! We met with him quickly after consultations (since I decided to leave the DJ til slightly last minute lol), and he worked so great with the genres of music we gave him to work with and was personable yet not overbearing for our crowd.
I took off one star for the planning stage. The meetings and logistics were a bit of a hassle, especially as it can take them several days to respond to contact and most of their availability was during regular business hours. Taking time off work for repeated meetings wasn't easy! And we were initially matched with a dj who was a poor fit for the genres we wanted. But Banks quickly remedied the situation, and our dj Tee was fantastic! He kept things running smoothly, played such a great mix we're still getting compliments on it, and kept our families on the dance floor all night, even the older folks! You may get a little hard sell up front to upgrade to one of their premium packages with extra lighting, etc, but if you go in with a clear idea of your budget and what you want, they'll make it happen!
