Overall amazing service and I would recommend them to anyone looking for catering!

Both buffets were incredibly delicious and our guests were so happy! The staff were so attentive, polite and simply wonderful to us. They were even thoughtful enough to give us plates of our hors d'oeuvres while we were waiting to make our grand entrance. Thank you for helping to make our day so amazing!!!

know if there were any changes in the menu, all up until the reception. Their staff did an amazing job with making sure everything ran smoothly and, everyone was fed. Also a big shout out to the chefs! I had so many compliments on the food. It was all so good. I would go through them again in a heartbeat.

ng lines so our 200 guests could get through quickly. The best park of Barrack's was the staff they provided to work during our wedding. They were polite and efficient, and they took the time to keep checking up on myself and the wedding party.

initiate all the next steps as the event coordinator waited until last minute. Accounting and billing was very confusing as their service charges always changed. All in all, the food turned out great. Everyone raved about the mashed potato bar and brisket.

ic...we had people all night telling us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. A favorite part of ours was having a tasting ahead of time with other couples. It was really fun and allowed us to choose what kind of food options we wanted. They did a great job setting all the food up as well (at the reception). Even though they are the sole caterer of our venue, I do wish they would have reached out to me at least once to say hello and see if everyone was going smoothly. All details were done through the actual reception venue, which made us a bit nervous. All in all, everything turned out great and we loved everything!!!!

nt to be stressed out I recommend not using this company for your wedding. I had given them $500 and they are not returning my money to me. I was not stressed out at all about my wedding because everything was going perfectly until they decided to argue with me on what I could afford to give them for space. They argued with me at the fact that they needed 5 tables and I could only afford to give them 2 tables and a small kitchen counter. They then went to the reception venue and told my reception venue manager that they were going to try and convince me to change the location of my reception and this was 5 days before my wedding. I ended up canceling my contract with them. I was informed that they only order anything after I give my final number. On the Friday before my wedding I was concerned with the costs and wanted to speak with someone in regards to my concerns and they were not able to meet with me until the Monday before my wedding at 2:30pm. I then asked to cancel the contract and was told that I would get my refund in the mail, fifteen minutes later when I checked my email I received an email stating I was not getting anything back because they had met that Monday morning to discuss my event. I was told that was when they ordered everything and I would not be able to get any money back. I am fighting them to resolve this and my next step is taking them to court. I asked them if there was anything in this contract that states if the business does not give the consumer what they are requesting if that cancels the contract and was told that they did not do anything for me so how would that cancel the contract. It is a huge mess I just recommend not using them unless you are willing to allow them to take over and do things how they want to do them. I just knew what I wanted and how I wanted things and they were not willing to listen to me.

Then, on the day of the wedding, they were understaffed, didn't have all of the tables decorated or set, and then turned away our guests from the open bar, even though in our contract it stated that it should have been open by that time. They were rediculously unorganized, were extremely rude to my mother, my father-in-law and my wedding planner, and even turned away some of my guests with dietary needs from eating a cake that had been made especially for them. It is my understanding that Barrack's Cater Inn has quite a monopoly on the Peoria Area banquet halls, but if you can, PLEASE AVOID USING THIS GROUP! Your day will be much more pleasant and less dramatic if you steer clear of this company. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

all of our questions and was very helpful. The staff in the main office were also very kind and went out of their way to help. I was disappointed at our reception because the staff failed to make any of the requested vegetarian meals, including mine (the bride!). Being fearful of this possible outcome, I was very clear with the staff about the number of vegetarian meals prior to the wedding. Still, they managed to completely forget all the vegetarian meals. Unfortunately, they would not refund the forgotten meals.
