I loved working with Beauty Boston for my wedding! Marissa is incredibly responsive with any inquiries and questions, and I got to work with her as my hair stylist as well. She is friendly and professional. I ended up having two hair trials because we decided at my first trial that the look would be better with hair extensions—Marissa answered my many questions over email about hair extensions and color matching. I was also worried about my hair holding the style, and she listened to my worries and incorporated time into the wedding morning schedule in order to set my hair. She made my hair beautiful! Kim Poutre was my makeup artist and not only was she incredibly talented, but she was fun to talk with (which helped calm my wedding morning jitters). She was also so efficient; these ladies were so on top of everything that they were ahead of schedule with hair and makeup for my whole bridal party! I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Francesca (@beautybyfrankieboston) was my makeup artist for our wedding 9/1/24 and she was PERFECT! Beauty Boston set us up with her and we couldn't have asked for better. I had my trial with her a few weeks before the wedding (only so close to the date because of my schedule not hers) and she was so friendly and receptive to any and all requests. I don't usually wear makeup and was a little nervous going into having it done professionally, but she made me, my bridesmaids, my mother, and my MIL all look so naturally stunning. I even made a change to my lip color the day of the wedding and she was totally on board and found exactly the color I was hoping for. I was so happy with how I looked on the day, and she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed the morning of. She is very experienced and professional; I'd recommend her to any bride!

Highly recommend this company.. Marissa, who handled all of the communications pricing and contract was amazing.. Answered all of our questions quickly and in detail.. The make up artist Katie and hair specialist Jess were also perfect. They delivered everything we asked for. They were very easy to work with, and we got many compliments for both Hair and Makeup! Marissa and Tatyana did my hair and makeup for my wedding this weekend. I worked closely with Marissa, who did my hair and makeup. She was extremely communicative, organized, talented, and easy to talk to! She delivered everything I could've wanted and more. Tatyana joined her this weekend to help and do the hair for my wedding party. She did a great job! I am so lucky I found them!

Tiffany and Kimberly did mine and my bridesmaids hair and make up this past weekend and absolutely did an amazing job. Could not recommend Beauty Boston more! Setting everything up with Marissa was incredibly easy. We worked with Kerry, Libbie, Tatyana, and Jucelia on the day of my wedding, and they made all of us feel incredibly beautiful. There were 11 of us total and we were ahead of schedule the whole time. My bridal party loved their makeup, it looked natural and perfect for pictures, and everyone’s hair styles came out perfect and held up throughout the night. You will not be disappointed working with Beauty Boston!

Sam did such an amazing job on my wedding hair, it came out gorgeous. It was exactly what I wanted, I changed it up a little from what we did in the trial but she got it on point for the day of. I received so many compliments!

I could not more highly recommend beauty Boston. Throughout the planning process, Marissa was available, responsive, communicative, and flexible. She helped arrange trials and scheduling for a day off. I used Jess for Hair and Katie for Makeup. They were amazing! My mom and I got trials with Jess and Katie, and had so much fun with them at the trial. After the trial, I decided I wanted to make a few changes, and emailed Marissa with my requests. Day of, it couldn’t have gone smoother. Katie and Jess arrived early, and got set up quickly. They not only did an amazing job, but they were fun to work with as well. They made each one of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, feel beautiful. As for me, they transformed me into a bride, feeling like a beautiful bride. They were open to minor changes from the trial and adjusted everything to perfection. Katie and Jess went above and beyond for me and my bridal party, staying on schedule and hanging out to make sure that we were all set with touchups and anything extra. Andrea, MK, Jucelia, and Tatyana did a beautiful job for a large bridal party! They offered a great trial day for the bride a year in advance and completed 12 people’s hair and makeup in 5 hours. The results were beautiful and everyone was thrilled!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! Lisa was my stylist and she was phenomenal! At the trial she took my vision and perfected it. Lisa is easy to talk to and makes you feel incredibly comfortable, even with the jitters of the big day! At the wedding she worked closely with my photographer while styling for photo ops and ensuring times lines were working. She made me look and feel like I have never felt before! Her knowledge of products and colors made me look beautiful. I had a few ideas for hair and a few options for accessories which she made sure to style together so I could choose the option i liked best. She went above and beyond! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND LISA IN PARTICULAR!!!!!!

I could not be happier that I hired artists through Beauty Boston for my wedding. Two of my friends worked with them for their weddings last year, and after seeing their hair and makeup, I knew I had to hire them myself! Throughout the planning process, they were friendly, responsive, flexible, and communicative. On the wedding day, each of the four artists arrived on time, got through each appointment in the allotted time or faster, and had plenty of time for touch-ups! Working with Francesca on my makeup was a joy - she knew exactly what to do to my skin so that it was smooth and glowy while still light enough to see my freckles! She took my feedback in stride when I asked her to go lighter on my eyeliner and eyebrows. She helped me and my bridesmaids feel absolutely beautiful! My bridesmaids who worked with Kim on their makeup had amazing experiences as well. Working with Marissa for my hair was fantastic. When I didn't love my hair after my original trial, I was allowed to come back and do another one free of charge. On the wedding day, we were able to piece together parts from the two trials into a hairstyle that fit perfectly!! My bridesmaids who worked with her loved their hair, and my bridesmaids who worked with Lynda loved their hair as well. I couldn't recommend their services more!

I got married this past weekend and had such a great experience working with Andi and Marissa! They were punctual and built a schedule giving everyone plenty of time for makeup, hair and touch ups. Everyone (my mom, MIL, sister and SIL) were so thrilled with how they looked.

Had such an amazing experience with Samie. She is so genuine, relaxed, and kind she was such a calming and supportive presence the morning of my wedding while we were getting ready. She totally got my vision and was flexible. Beauty Boston (the company) was a little challenging to work with at times but it was totally worth it to get to work with Samie. I did not want a massively overly glam look and she perfectly understood what I wanted and was flexible.

Katie was absolutely amazing to work with! I could not be happier with my wedding makeup. Myself, my mom, and my bridesmaids all got so many compliments on our makeup throughout the night. Not only is Katie great at what she does, she is so kind and supportive. She brought such a fun, and positive energy to the wedding morning. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I will recommend Beauty Boston over and over again to anyone who will listen. Katie, Noel and Lynda did hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my 5 bridesmaids on my wedding day and we were all so so happy with our end looks and the energy and atmosphere that they brought to the wedding morning. I don't think I have ever felt prettier than I did after Noel did my hair and Katie my makeup. They took notes from my trial and we made day of adjustments that made all the difference. Every single one of my bridesmaids looked even more stunning than they usually do and my mom looked absolutely gorgeous. Some weren't completely decided on set hair or makeup looks and I gave only loose guidance and all three artists were super helpful in forming a vision and executing on each woman. Multiple of my bridesmaids told me that their hair & makeup for my wedding was their favorite out of any wedding they have been in. Besides wanting artists who I knew would execute well and be timely, personality and vibe was very important to me. Samie was amazing!! She did both hair and makeup for myself (the bride), maid of honor and my mother. She did an incredible job! Our makeup and hair lasted all day despite the almost 90 degree sunny day outside in Boston. She is so easy to get along with and we all felt comfortable with her! Definitely recommend her!!

Samie was amazing! The makeup and hair was beautiful for everyone and it lasted all day without any issues. More than that, she made the process fun. She was so kind and great at keeping a conversation going. I'm kinda shy and so can get nervous around strangers and being the center of attention, but she made it easy to keep calm and have fun while getting ready on my wedding day. To my mind, having that great personality is just as important as talent at hair/makeup, and she was fantastic at all of it.

I was so happy with the experience I had with Beauty Boston. The artists I had at my trial, Andi and Sammie, made me feel so at ease and comfortable. They followed my vision to a T. I loved how truly myself I looked and they were able to recreate this exactly on the wedding day. All my bridesmaids raved about how amazing their services were! Beauty Boston was a fantastic group of ladies to work with! During my trial, I worked with Jackie and Lisa, which already felt meant to be as my name is Jackie and my mom is Lisa. They were so kind and respectful! They listened to my requests and worked their magic. I am not a hair/makeup girl so this process was very nerve wracking for me, however, they calmed my nerves as soon as I sat in the chair. I wanted a natural look for makeup and then couldn't decide between two hairstyles so they took their time and showed me a few different options. By the end of the appointment, I felt like I was glowing. I could envision myself in my dress and I just felt beautiful! On the wedding day, they brought in two more stylists to help as I had a larger bridal party. All four ladies were kind and interactive and everyone loved how their hair and makeup turned out. I cannot thank Boston Beauty for all of their help and hard work!

Beauty Boston was extremely easy to communicate with from start to finish. Francesca did my makeup and Kerry did my hair. They both did an absolutely amazing job. I wanted to look as natural as possible and they did just that. We also had Lisa and Sammie come to help with the bridemaids/grandmothers. They too did an amazing job.

Francesca and Marissa were absolutely incredible. Francesca did my makeup for a friends wedding and I immediately knew I needed her to do my makeup for my wedding day. I had bridesmaids that wanted a full glam look, some that wanted a very natural look, and some right in between and everyone looked absolutely phenomenal. They are so much fun and made the entire process stress free. They were always available to answer any questions I had through the process and made my trial and wedding day so perfect. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

Beauty Boston made my day incredible. At my trial they helped me develop a skin care routine/helped me decide how to cut and color my hair in order to get my ideal look for the day of. Then, during the big day, we had over 17 individual hair and 14 makeups that had to be done by 11am. The whole crew arrived early and was kind, efficient, fun, and did an AMAZING job. As the bride they took the time to continuously check in with me to make sure I liked the look. I also had a number of elderly family members get their hair/makeup done and they were incredibly polite and supportive as they navigated what the vision was for each person. At dinner that evening everyone's hair was still intact and make up looked amazing, it was incredible. Andi did such a great job taking lead on the whole thing and everyone who has previously been in a wedding said this was the best hair/make up team that they've worked with. Would recommend over and over again!!!

MaryKate was AMAZING! She produced exactly what I wanted, and I’m not knowledgeable about makeup so I wasn’t able to explicitly describe what I had in mind. She was open to any changes from the trial to make sure that I was happy. She was also just fun to be around and fit in with my group of friends and family well. HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding and event needs!

I can't say enough great things about Beauty Boston and how wonderful they made my wedding party look. Marissa made the planning process incredibly smooth and had an impressive email response time. The artists arrived early and finished with all the hair and makeup ahead of schedule, so we had nothing to worry about for the timeline. Kim, Lauren, and Noel were so kind and made everyone in our bridal party feel beautiful. I am incredibly thankful for how understanding and accommodating the artists were to my mom and mother-in-law. They were both hesitant about getting hair and makeup services; all artists made them feel comfortable and at ease. My mom even took a picture of some of Kim's products so she can buy them in the future! All the artists brought such positive energy that we felt we had a crew of hype women before the wedding! Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience using Beauty Boston for our special day.

These ladies were a fabulous group to work with! Very accommodating, professional and friendly. We had a large group for hair and make up so I was a little concerned about time; they were so fast and had everyone finished ahead of schedule. We had 11 and had a team of 4 (2 hair, 2 makeup) They were so easy to talk to and took all our requests and considerations with ease! Truly made my special morning a breeze. Special shout-out to Sammie! She did both my hair and makeup and was an absolute dream. Very easy to give suggestions and make my vision a reality. She took detailed notes from the trial and even talked through steps and what we could tweek due to shades/change in season. Loved them!!

Beauty Boston is by far the best wedding hair and makeup company in New England. Kim is absolutely incredible. I was an extremely picky bride and she did an absolutely STUNNING job with my makeup. My husband was so happy too, and even said my makeup looked super natural (which it did)! Kim listened to all my requests and made all of them a reality, from styling my makeup to helping with my hair, and everything in between. She was extremely personable and treated my mom and I like family. She talked to me on the phone to discuss last minute adjustments, and even added on my grandma for makeup the day before the wedding! She gifted me a wedding day beauty kit and made the entire process stress free and enjoyable. She is definitely someone you can rely on to help every step of the way and will make all your wedding dreams come true. Sammie was also incredible ! She smiled and laughed all morning with me and worked so hard to perfect my wedding hair, which ended up flawless. She had so many great suggestions and techniques on how to shape and bring volume to my hair. She was also able to perfectly replicate the hair pictures on Pinterest I showed her. I was very impressed. She even helped me steam my dress. You will be so happy you booked with Beauty Boston. They are not only personable and enjoyable to be around, but incredible hair and makeup artists who will make your wedding day perfect.

Thank you Samie for doing an awesome job with my hair and makeup for my wedding day! Samie was not only super skilled but also incredibly friendly and sweet, which instantly put me at ease. I had a specific vision in mind for a natural curly hair updo, and was worried since not everyone works with curly hair, but Samie was totally comfortable with it. From the initial trial to the actual day, I appreciated how she asked plenty of questions and consistently checked in to ensure I was happy with each step of the hair and makeup process. The end result was exactly what I had imagined – the hair and makeup were beautiful! The only minor hiccup was on the admin side, since I discovered after the trial that they charged different prices for bride-only services (as opposed to bride + bridesmaids). I wish this had been made clear upfront, since at first it seemed like a really good price but in the end it did slightly exceed my budget. Despite that, overall I had a great experience with Beauty Boston and would definitely recommend them and Samie. Thank you!

My bridal party and I had our hair done by Tiffany and make up done by Lisa, both from Boston Beauty. Both artists were amazing and really made all of our visions come to life! Communication was so easy, Marissa made sure all my questions were answered while making the best plan for the day!

I got married on 9/23/23 in Salem, MA and Andi (makeup), Samie (hair and makeup), and Jess (hair) were the perfect beauty team!! They all made me, and my girls feel so beautiful! Everyone arrived on time, stuck with the schedule, and worked quickly. They made it such a fun morning getting ready. I had Samie stay after to do touch-ups and it was so worth it. I cannot rave enough about the company and these three in particular!

Marissa was so attentive & accommodating throughout the whole process & absolutely blew me away with my bridal hair & makeup - it turned out perfectly! The Beauty Boston team went above and beyond for me and my bridal party! I booked more than a year in advance, and they kept in close contact with me throughout our wedding planning process. There were some last-minute changes to our beauty team as a result of weather, and Samie, Kerry, and Maryanne knocked our looks out of the park! Samie did my bridal makeup, and the morning of our wedding was the first time we had met in person. I was blown away by her ability to create my natural glam look with such ease (I felt so beautiful and well taken care of!). Kerry did my hair and it was executed flawlessly! I made some changes to my look since our trial together and she blew my expectations out of the water. It held up to wind and sweat, and the compliments were ever-flowing! Maryanne did my Mother's and sister's makeup, as well as many members of my bridal party, who had never had their makeup done before, and they were all very happy with their final looks! Additionally, everything was executed perfectly on time; we didn't feel rushed at all. I would 100% work with this team again, and recommend them to any bride. Marissa from Beauty Boston did an amazing job on my hair and all my bridesmaid's hair! I used extensions for volume and could not believe how seamlessly it blended with my hair. When I got compliments on my hair and told people it was extensions, they were shocked because it looked so natural. Marissa was able to match my hair perfectly to the photos I showed her and I am so happy with how it turned out! I have long and fine hair that does't tend to hold a curl/wave well but the curls Marissa put in lasted all night without falling or getting tangled. It was fairly windy during my ceremony but it still held up so well! Thank you Marissa and Beauty Boston!

Andi, Marissa and Tatyana are AMAZING! From my first inquiry to hours before walking down the aisle, Beauty Boston was fantastic. They helped us pick a date for the trial where all who wanted to attend could make it, accommodated another trial for me to try out a second look and totally delivered each time we saw them! Andi, Marissa and Tatyana added to the fun as we were getting ready and made me feel so calm. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup and all the girls looked gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! Tiffany and Libbie are extremely talented and professional! Tiffany did such an amazing job on my hair and my wedding party’s hair! My hair didn’t fall out once and it looked stunning the whole night! Libbie did a beautiful job on my Wedding party’s makeup, they all loved the detail and attention she put into making sure they were comfortable in the makeup they had on! Beauty Boston was incredible to work with! I had reached out to a few hair and makeup artists about doing hair and makeup for myself and 2 others (for a micro-wedding) and was having a hard time finding someone who would commit to such a small group, but Beauty Boston responded within hours and was able to accommodate our small group with 1 artist who did hair and makeup! The artist named Samie was an absolute dream to work with and made my hair and makeup bridal dreams come true. I ended up deciding to change my hairstyle the day of the wedding due to the horrible weather in Boston, and Samie could not have been more reassuring and flexible despite completely switching things up after my trial and on my actual wedding day. Both my hair and makeup looked stunning and lasted all day and night despite the tears, humidity, and pouring rain. In addition to being great at what she does, Samie could not have been more friendly or personable, and despite needing to arrive before 5am to start hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my sister, she had the most lovely personality and attitude and brought such a warm energy that made us all feel calm and relaxed. My mom and my sister have not stopped raving about how amazing Samie was, and we are so grateful that we were able to work with her on such a special day. Also, Marissa was a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. She helped to coordinate all of the scheduling and contracting logistics and could not have made the process any easier. In addition to being unbelievably helpful, Marissa was always quick to respond and provided all of the answers that I needed to all of my questions and was always so kind in her responses. Wedding planning can be so stressful, but I always felt like I was in good hands thanks to Marissa and Samie, and they both truly deserve amazing recognition for what they do. Samie was my hairstylist for my wedding day and she was amazing! At the trial, I was able to provide her with some inspo pictures and she was able to create a look that I loved. On the day of, Samie was receptive to making small changes to the look. Samie was also open to testing options with my hairpiece and veil the day of and helped me decide on the best option! Not only was Samie a great hairstylist, but she was so fun and down to earth! It felt like she was just another friend in the room as we were getting ready. She did an incredible job and I would book her again in an instant!

Everything about working with Beauty Boston was wonderful. Marissa is very responsive and made the booking process easy. Kim and Noel were such a breeze to work with and incredibly talented. They styled my bridal hair and makeup exactly as I envisioned. They did my mom’s hair and makeup beautifully as well. In my mom’s words, while we were getting done up, “I felt like I was with 2 women I had been friends with my whole life.” They made the wedding morning a stress-free experience and a wonderful kick off to the big day. Boston Beauty was so easy to work with. The office was very organized and easy to communicate with. We had Tiff for hair and Sammie for make up- both did amazing jobs. They worked fast and did a great job accommodating what everyone wanted. They made me feel so beautiful and gave me the exact look I wanted. They were both a pleasure to have in the getting-ready room- they added perfectly to the calm but fun vibe.

Lisa from Beauty Boston knocked my wedding hair and makeup out of the park! I have literally never felt so beautiful in my entire life. She also did my mom and mother-in-law’s hair and makeup and they feel the same! Hello, recent bride here! I highly recommend Beauty Boston for your wedding. The bride trial was super helpful to me, making me feel ready and confident for our big day. On the day of the wedding everybody showed up on time, and were super professional and friendly. I really appreciated that they noticed little kids running around and were cautious with their hot hair tools. My stylist made sure I had enough to eat, and completely nailed my hair and makeup. When my brows felt a little darker than I wanted, she was super flexible and willing to adjust them for me. My look kept fresh and in place all day and night. So grateful!

Tiffany, Maryanne and Lisa did hair/makeup for myself and bridal party on the wedding day and each one of them was incredible! We worked with Kerry and Andrea for our bridal party hair and makeup and they were phenomenal. Everything looked perfect throughout the whole day. They were not only super skilled beauticians, they also were super kind, friendly, and easy to work with. Scheduling a trial and booking them for the wedding was very easy and didn't break the bank. Kim is truly SO talented. I cannot imagine my wedding day without her. I am not someone who wears a lot of make up and have had some bad bridesmaids make up experiences, so I just assumed I would not be comfortable in any professional make up. But Kim put that idea to rest. She is so beyond talented and easy to work with. I thought the trial went well but she outdid herself with my wedding day makeup. She also did a killer job on my mom and bridesmaids. Prior to the wedding day she was responsive and helpful with my coordinator’s timeline and my hair and makeup schedule. On the wedding day, she was the first one in the bridal get ready room and was set up and ready to go ahead of schedule. She is efficient and her work product speaks for itself. The only recommendation I would make is if you are having a second makeup artist to choose them yourself based on your review of the portfolios because Kim is so talented you want to make sure that your second artist can come close to her skill set. However, Kim will do all touch ups and make sure every single one of your bridesmaids looks perfect!

Amazing hair and makeup - could not have asked for better service. I did not do a hair and makeup trial and was very unsure of what I wanted on the day of - but both hair and makeup turned out absolutely gorgeous! All of my bridesmaids and mother of the groom also looked spectacular!

I had the pleasure of working with Sammie and Lauren from Special Event Beauty for my wedding this past July. They were both so professional and fun to spend time with, I was genuinely bummed out when they were done and had to leave. They made me feel like a superstar and I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. Our wedding was during one of the most recent heat waves and despite the elements my make up and hair stayed perfectly throughout the entire day. First of all, Noel and I had an AMAZING time during our wedding hair and makeup trial. She was very flexible with scheduling as I was an out of state bride. I remember saying to her, I want to feel like a mermaid and my goodness she made that happen! On our wedding day, Noel and Cori arrived early (which was amazing) and were perfect. They were super communicative about what I wanted and what my bridesmaids were comfortable with. This is the first wedding I have heard of where the bridal party was AHEAD of time because of these rock stars. I definitely got a hair and makeup artist and a personal therapist all in one! I was super nervous leading up to the ceremony and Noel helped keep me calm and laughing. Thank you both! You made my dreams come true!

Tiffany and Marissa from Special Event Beauty were absolutely wonderful for our wedding in July 2022. My bridesmaids, my mom and I all genuinely loved our hair and makeup.
