So initially,
I thought this company was a great fit!
We talked and the owner seemed so sweet! Signed the contract for my April 2020 wedding, everything was good. Covid hit. My wedding had to be postponed. No big deal. Secured... the new date with KKD and received a NEW contract...
Reading over my new contract, I could see some things were different (makeup went up $15 per person and there was a travel fee but I didn't notice anything else AT THE TIME, later I noticed discounts were removed)... so I asked if the total and balance was higher than before and Kelsey said
'Yes. It reflects our 2021 pricing and travel fee. Due to Covid we are required to do some things differently and have more stuff we have to have for sanitary reasons'
This disturbed me because I made sure to previously ask before gaining the original contract if there was a travel fee and she said no, that my venue was within distance. (That was a selling point for me)
So... I was busy and I sign the contract.
Skip to my hair and makeup run through. In the original contract, hair run-through was included ($60 ALSO a selling point for me) day of.. she says I owe $120 🤔
I asked why it was so high and she said to refer to my contract....OK?
I'm not confrontational and didn't want to awkwardly read my contract in front of them while they were waiting for payment so I paid.
Couple of weeks before the wedding I texted
'Hey Kelsey!!
So I just realized that on this contract, you forgot to add the discount of the hair run through being free since I had 5 or more people getting done! So can I just send you $60 less off of the balance? 🤗
Trying to pay all of my vendors this week so I don't have to worry about it ❤'
Her response was short
'We don't do that anymore. That stoped in 2020'
I responded.
'Oh... I just assumed since it was an existing contract from 2020 and not a new contract that it would still be honored 😥
When I asked about the price difference you said

You didn't mention removing any discounts.
Anyways, I signed the contract and will pay it, thank you'
Also... with scheduling, Kelsey told me to get with Tessi, when I tried to talk to Tessi, she said Kelsey handles all of the scheduling. That was a mess.
Long story/review short Tessi is an AMAZING artist. She is very professional and right to the point of things.
But, I thought Kelsey was very deceitful and dishonest. My 'new' contract was $120 more (there was ZERO changes on my end aside from the date) I felt like I was trapped into that. I will never use them again, nor recommend her business. Just personal preference.
