They were so amazing, I was super nervous because we did an out-of-state wedding so we weren’t able to do a trial but after they got done I was amazed they did 11 people and we’re just super efficient quick and still managed to have some chitchat with us. I absolutely would recommend them. You will not regret it.

I got married on 11.11.23! Kelsey and her girls that came did amazing. I had gone a week early for my trial and she made sure that I was happy with everything. The day of the wedding they all went above and beyond and we’re fun to hangout with while Getting ready. I highly recommend Kelsey and her staff for your wedding or even to her salon that just opened it’s beautiful!

Kelsey was my hairstylist for my wedding. She really worked well with me through the process from our two hair trials and day of styling. We found what worked for my longer/thicker hair. She was able to make it work, making it beautiful. She has great customer service skills, and her pricing is extremely fair. I can’t wait for her beauty shop to open in Springfield! Thank you again Kelsey!

Kelsey was amazing to work with for our wedding! We traveled to Branson for our wedding, so there was a little planning involved with the location and services. She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! Not only that, but she traveled to my hotel room to do both! She was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable during her visit. She made sure of what I wanted beforehand, and it was perfect! Thank you Kelsey!!

Had a great experience with Kelsey’s team! Emma-Leigh listened to all of my concerns and edits during my trial, and perfectly created my look for wedding day! I felt so beautiful even on a hot SWMO Saturday.

I cannot say enough about Kelsey and her team. To say they are amazing is an understatement. I was not entirely sure of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day and Kelsey was able to take my very vague description and make me look better than I ever could have imagined. My bridesmaids also told Kelsey's helpers, "Just make me look good" and they surpassed all expectations! Throughout the process, Kelsey became so much more than a vendor we used and has now become a friend. I cannot recommend her and her staff enough. Do yourself a favor and book them NOW!

These guys had raving reviews for weddings, but the girl who did our wedding had a very unique style of doing makeup, that I feel works better on herself than on the people she is putting it on. She is a very sweet girl, and did her best, but I should have researched more into makeup artists that would have been more of the style I was looking for. She wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great. I can’t say that I recommend her, but I am not sure about the other 6 girls in the group.

I cannot begin to explain how impressed I was with KKD Beauty on our wedding day. In the days leading up to the wedding, Kelsey and I texted a lot, and I was able to send her the inspo pics for all members of the bridal party. On the day of the wedding, they were patient, hilarious, and so much fun to have in our bridal suite. But the impressive part is that both hair artists has seemingly memorized our inspo - all they needed was a name and they were able to immediately go to work and execute each (very different) hairstyle perfectly! And I mean perfectly. Especially my hair. I visualized this almost boho braided hairstyle and Kelsey didn't hesitate, she did my hair into the exact image I had in mind - and in a way I didn't even know was possible. This team is professional, patient, and so very talented. You need them to do your hair for your occasion.

We had our wedding at the Timber Line Barn on 3/12/22 and KKD Beauty Cafe is an absolute DREAM to work with!! They fixed my bridal parties' hair and makeup along with two little girls’ hair. Kelsey and Cameo did an amazing job. They were professional and made all my girls feel absolutely beautiful! Kelsey made me feel absolutely gorgeous before walking down the aisle. Best of all my hair and makeup lasted long into the night even with dancing all evening. Kelsey was very accommodating with changes in the schedule and on-the-fly touch-ups after one of the kids accidentally messed up their hair. You won’t be disappointed with her or her team!

KKD Beauty Cafe So initially, I thought this company was a great fit! We talked and the owner seemed so sweet! Signed the contract for my April 2020 wedding, everything was good. Covid hit. My wedding had to be postponed. No big deal. Secured the new date with KKD and received a NEW contract... Reading over my new contract, I could see some things were different (makeup went up $15 per person and there was a travel fee but I didn't notice anything else AT THE TIME, later I noticed discounts were removed)... so I asked if the total and balance was higher than before and Kelsey said 'Yes. It reflects our 2021 pricing and travel fee. Due to Covid we are required to do some things differently and have more stuff we have to have for sanitary reasons' This disturbed me because I made sure to previously ask before gaining the original contract if there was a travel fee and she said no, that my venue was within distance. (That was a selling point for me)  So... I was busy and I sign the contract. Skip to my hair and makeup run through. In the original contract, hair run-through was included ($60 ALSO a selling point for me) day of.. she says I owe $120 🤔 I asked why it was so high and she said to refer to my contract....OK? I'm not confrontational and didn't want to awkwardly read my contract in front of them while they were waiting for payment so I paid. Couple of weeks before the wedding I texted 'Hey Kelsey!! So I just realized that on this contract, you forgot to add the discount of the hair run through being free since I had 5 or more people getting done!  So can I just send you $60 less off of the balance? 🤗 Trying to pay all of my vendors this week so I don't have to worry about it ❤' Her response was short 'We don't do that anymore. That stoped in 2020' I responded. 'Oh... I just assumed since it was an existing contract from 2020 and not a new contract that it would still be honored 😥 When I asked about the price difference you said 'Yes. It reflects our 2021 pricing and travel fee. Due to Covid we are required to do some things differently and have more stuff we have to have for sanitary reasons'  You didn't mention removing any discounts. Anyways, I signed the contract and will pay it, thank you' Also... with scheduling, Kelsey told me to get with Tessi, when I tried to talk to Tessi, she said Kelsey handles all of the scheduling. That was a mess. Long story/review short Tessi is an AMAZING artist. She is very professional and right to the point of things.  But, I thought Kelsey was very deceitful and dishonest. My 'new' contract was $120 more (there was ZERO changes on my end aside from the date) I felt like I was trapped into that. I will never use them again, nor recommend her business. Just personal preference.

Lydia was such a pleasure to work with! She was responsive & got back to me quickly! I wasn’t able to do a trial run because we live out of town, but she took my ideas of what I wanted for my makeup and did a wonderful job. She was so personable and an absolute delight!

Kelsey and her team were an absolute joy to work with. From meeting us on site to catering to any changes we threw their way. From various types of hair, to traditional, to airbrush makeup - everything was styled to absolute perfection. Not only are her talents exceptional but she's also just a genuine human being. I'd plan this day all over again with them on our side!

Kelsey was AMAZING! She is such a real and easygoing person. Her work was GREAT. She did EXACTLY what I wanted for my makeup for my wedding day. I am super picky but she made me feel so confident and beautiful in my makeup. So many compliments on it too. Would 100% recommend!!!

We just had our wedding and she knocked it out of the park. The whole day of getting ready went smoothly and she rolled with the changes as they came. I felt beautiful and my bridesmaids were beautiful!

I loved my experience with Kelsey! She is very professional and great at what she does! She will make you look and feel gorgeous! I was a “pandemic bride”, having to reschedule my original wedding date and Kelsey eased my stress by being so flexible and willing to work with me. You won’t be disappointed with her or her team!

I was so pleased with how well Tessi did on my wedding makeup! In the middle of all of the last minute stress on the day of the wedding, she made me feel calm and comfortable. She listened to what I wanted, and made me feel absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend Kelsey or Tessi to any brides looking for wedding makeup!

These ladies were perfect for my wedding. They were punctual and professional. She had quick response time, flexibility, and was wonderful at dealing with so many woman and personalities on a hectic day. I couldn’t have asked for better service or outcome. Everyone looked stunning!

Kelsey did such an amazing job on my hair and make up. She knew exactly what I wanted and even though I was stressed she did amazing making me destress all my girls hairs looked perfect and she made my wedding day perfect.

Kelsey did a fantastic job! We had 8 women getting hair done, all of different ages and vastly different hair types and styles. Everyone left happy! She offered advice to get through the very hot day with hair that would still look good, worked with everyone's requests, and even got done ahead of schedule! It was the first wedding I had been a part of that everyone was happy with their hair. I highly recommend Kelsey!!
