We absolutely LOVED working with Catherine and her team. Without a doubt, it was the best money we spent on the wedding. We could not have felt more calm the weeks leading up to and on wedding day because we had Catherine. The entire day was flawlessly executed down to the tiniest of details. One of the biggest reasons behind this is how much work Catherine puts into planning. We met with her once a month for about a year, then had more frequent meetings in the month leading up to the day. Due to the frequent meetings, we never felt overwhelmed with tasks, which I was really grateful for. Catherine was also really good about helping us make decisions in a way where she never inserted her opinion, but instead just facilitated our decision making process in an efficient way. She always kept our overall goals for the wedding in mind.
Every interaction with Catherine and team was great--we always got their undivided attention. Catherine took the time to truly get to know us, which made the entire process a lot easier, and allowed us to be open and honest with her on what we wanted. I never once felt like she was trying to guide us into a certain aesthetic/path--from the moment we started working with Catherine she was 100% focused on making our dream wedding come to life.

I can't say enough how much we LOVED working with Catherine for our fall Napa wedding! She was amazing to work with through all stages of event planning and execution. We only had 6 months to plan and, during the planning process, she was always organized, prepared, clear, and accommodated our packed work schedules. Her planning tools were extremely helpful to keep us organized, as well. She is so kind and was so thoughtful with her recommendations to align with our vision. I knew zero about large event planning and she expertly navigated bringing our vision to life, as well as suggested important aspects we didn't originally incorporate (in other words - always trust her recommendations!). We felt like she completely understood our style and what we were trying to accomplish, and worked with an excellent vendor network to make every detail come to life!
Week of, the rain moved in and we had to pivot everything - it turned out perfectly, somehow better than our original vision. Day of, her magic was obvious to everyone - her perfectly planned agenda kept the wedding party informed and relaxed, as well as the kept the day completely on track. She was calm yet energetic, somehow everywhere at once, and made the most amazing day happen with what must have been thousands of directions behind the scenes.
Thanks to Catherine, my new husband and I, as well as all of our guests, had a relaxed, present, and fantastic day! We could not possibly recommend her more wholeheartedly and enthusiastically; we both miss her post-wedding!
If we did one thing right for our wedding it was hiring Catherine and her team. Catherine was amazing throughout the whole process, the monthly check-ins really helped us keep on track and her recommendations and things you don't even think of were invaluable. When we passed over the reigns the last month she really helped ease my anxiety and stress. As for the day of Catherine and her team were a true dream. Everything moved so smoothly (even with two venue locations). Everyone we worked with loved working with the Big Day (of), they are professional, kind and truly brilliant. I would get married all over again just to work with Catherine and her team again.
Catherine and her team are simply phenomenal. From the moment we first spoke, I knew that her and I would hit it off and she was exactly who I needed as my right hand through the planning process.
Her professionalism is top notch. She was always punctual to all meetings (virtual and in person at the venue), over-communicative, very clear and organized. Catherine made sure a detail was never missed and our meetings always seemed to fly by. She always made herself available by email, phone, text, and I felt fully supported going into our big weekend. Not to mention, she is a joy to work with!
I could not recommend Catherine and her team enough. If I did it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing about our planning process together. So grateful!!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Catherine. My husband and I were lucky to have her plan our big day. It went off without a hitch! Catherine understood who we are as a couple as well as the things that were most important for each of us as individuals. Every detail down to the second was intentional. We didn't have to worry about a thing aside from fully enjoying the best day of our lives. Our family and friends still rave about how much fun it was. Thank you, Catherine!
Catherine helped us throw the perfect wedding. She was completely on the ball at all times, including a last minute change up of table ordering. During the planning process, she kept us honest with what tasks needed to be completed by which dates, something that my wife and I both really appreciated. Planning a wedding is rather stressful, but Catherine made sure that we were never behind, and when the day came it was truly perfect.
Catherine and her team at The Big Day Of made our wedding planning process SO easy and seamless. We hired them for their day-of services, but she went above and beyond to help throughout the whole planning process. We super appreciated how she offered monthly meetings to just check-in and keep us on track along the way (whereas most day-of services seem to just show up on the day with little to no prior communication). We have heard amazing things about her full service wedding planning as well. All in all, HIGHLY recommend! Also, we are planning to stay in touch with Catherine as she is just a GREAT person :)

I had the please of working closely with Catherine/Big Day Of for my wedding this past August. We are based in NYC and had our wedding in Napa, so planning a wedding across the country was something I was not going to be able to do on my own. I had started with another wedding planner that I had to fire early on because she was regularly MIA. I was nervous deciding on another/new wedding planner, but I made the right choice going with Catherine.
Catherine is absolutely phenomenal and exactly what I needed to make my wedding dreams come true. She was incredibly detail orient, a great communicator both with me and with all of our vendors, and was such a helpful sounding board when I was making decisions.
I am very type-A, but of course hadn't planned a wedding before, so needed a lot of help keeping all of the to-dos organized and making sure everything was getting done on time and in the 'right' order. Our regular check-ins throughout the process and her meticulous organization were so helpful in keeping me on track along the way. All of this really helped ease the ever-present wedding stress.
The week of our wedding, Catherine was there every step of the way and she and her team were so attentive during our wedding weekend. Everything went absolutely perfectly, we did not have even one little hiccup.
I can't recommend her enough, I wish I could work with her on every other event I host going forward.
Catherine and her team were an absolute dream. From our introductory conversation to bidding adieu after our wedding, Catherine was warm, organized, and clearly wanted the best for us. As a planner, Catherine was great at helping us figure out what made sense for our vision and provided helpful industry insights, all while keeping us on track. We signed our contract for partial planning services with Big Day (of) about 6 months before our wedding, and Catherine met with us before really picking up the bulk of the planning 6 weeks prior to the big day. Every meeting was productive and put my partner's and my minds at ease, and she provided a calm presence while making sure everything went off without a hitch on the actual day. At no point did I ever feel like things were spiraling out of control, she was so capable! So many people told me how well organized my wedding was, and other vendors even expressed how easy it was to work with us -- and it was all Catherine's doing. Hire her -- this was the best money we spent for our wedding! Thank you, Catherine!
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Catherine and her team is! It was honestly the best investment in our wedding and I was able to just trust it would all work out and actually relax! In our meetings leading up to the big day, it was like talking to a friend (a very organized one). I am pretty Type A myself and with our destination wedding I wasn't able to see everything put together before our wedding day. Catherine saw my vision and pulled it off flawlessly! I couldn't imagine the process and day without her!
Catherine is a phenomenal planner. We worked with her for partial planning support for our wedding in Carneros, and she made it such a wonderful and low stress experience. The entire time it felt like Catherine was completely on top of it, yet calm (and we were inspired to also keep our composure even when our original florist had to drop our event weeks before the big day). She helped us avoid mistakes while also maintaining the vision we had. Catherine is super personable and works with very capable assistants. We'll absolutely hire Catherine again for future parties.
Catherine is AMAZING! We worked with her as a full service planner for our wedding at Stanly Ranch in Napa. She helped us with everything from venue scouting, to vendor selection/management, to day of coordination. From our welcome party at Peju, to our Sunday brunch, Catherine was there every step of the way to ensure the weekend went smoothly. Her patience & persistence were critical in helping us navigate the uncertainty of getting married at a new venue. She was on top of everything, extremely responsive, and willing to work through any questions/concerns we had. She was great at planning around our busy work schedules, reminding us of upcoming deadlines and streamlining communication through her strong relationships with vendors. Her attention to detail ensured nothing was missed. We were so thrilled with how everything turned out, and received many compliments from our guests. We couldn't have pulled it off without Catherine & team!
I don't even know where to begin. We could not have done this without Catherine. The wedding went so smoothly and so beautifully, all thanks to her and her team. Our first wedding date got postponed due to COVID, so we had a long planning period and Catherine was just so helpful throughout the entire way. She thought of all the little things, and told us exactly what we needed to do and what items we needed to rent/buy for the wedding. Her guidance was so useful. We bought her "Month Of" package so 1 month out from the wedding, she took over the vendor coordination. This was so helpful and took a huge amount off our plates. And then for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, she just was on top of everything the entire time. We didn't worry about a thing because we knew she had it under control. We are so happy with the way our wedding went and are beyond thankful that we hired Big Day Of.
