My husband and I had very specific wines and beers we wanted to serve at our wedding (our favorites and ones with sentimental value), and we had no problem ordering exactly what we wanted. Alex built our order/proposal and was really nice about making changes we wanted over the course of a couple of months until it was time to place the final order. The best part is being able to return any unopened bottles. While Binny's delivers all the alcohol to the venue on the day of the wedding, they do not pick up at the end of the night nor the morning after (our venue would not allow the alcohol to stay in the venue after the wedding). So it was definitely a chore to lug all the leftovers (much more than I imagined we would have) back on our bus back to the hotel, but it was all worth it to get nearly $1500 back in returns.

From the start, Alex proposed a great order selection and we finalized based on guest preferences. Then the pick up was made super easy as he has worked with our caterer many times...so we didn't even have to worry about any drop off logistics, they worked direct and made it happen. We then brought back leftover unopened product Sunday after the wedding (right before we left for the airport) and got $$ back. The quality was amazing and the buy back program is a no brainer. The best part is that they delivered the alcohol to the caterer's warehouse, then picked it up, and returned all the unopened goods all within one week. We just showed up and picked up the opened stuff, got our refund, and now have a fully stocked bar at the house! If you are able to bring in your own alcohol to your venue, Jeff should be your only call.

y through. For example, we requested a specialty drink that was based on orange juice, so when he added the drink he didn't increase the amount of OJ. He also put in a PBR keg instead of the Shlitz keg. Luckily we caught all these minor errors. The big problem was that we ordered a Sumpin' Sumpin' keg, but Binny's never ordered it. So when we went to get the keg (they DO NOT deliver the kegs, a fact that Jeff hid until we asked), the Sumpin' Sumpin' wasn't there. We had made a sign for this type of beer and told our guests, so that was very disappointing. They replaced it, and offered no compensation for their error. After all that, we have had to call four times for them to get the alcohol they will buy back - still haven't picked it up almost three weeks later. If there's any other company you can work with, I would suggest it.

We used their recommendation for how much of everything to purchase and unfortunately they were a bit off because we ran out of Captain Morgan before the dinner had even started and instead of sending us sparkling wine for our toast, they sent regular wine. We had to give someone a credit card and send them out to purchase these items quickly for us.

ow, I'm calling them." Cocktail hour was starting at 5:30. They just never processed the order. He finally rushed "liquor" over at 4:30 but it wasn't what we ordered. I had specific wine pairings I had picked out for each of our courses and he said he "didn't have time to find it" so he just substituted anything he had on hand. He finally did go and get what we ordered off the shelves, but couldn't get it to us because his driver was out and he couldn't get cab far authorized (he was a $10 cab ride away). We finally did get everything just before 5:30 and the caterer had ice water waiting to plunge all the Veuve Clicquot into and all was well, but it was frantic down to the end. Mistakes happen. It wasn't the mistake, it was how he handled it. No apologies, no mild attempt to make it right. He didn't give us any discount and never called to follow up to see if everything did in fact make it. And we were not cheap. We had three cases of very high end champagne and liquor...our bill was over $3,500. I love Binny's as a store, but I cannot recommend Les at all. I would never use them again. Also, you should know that the urban legend that Binny's takes your unused alcohol back is largely untrue. there are a lot of restrictions that render much of your alcohol unreturnable (i.e., if it was ever chilled...you have to have beer, wine, champagne chilled "just in case", so you're stuck with all of it regardless of whether you use it. Make sure you get details on the return policy before you over buy.
