he Pinnacle she got all excited and needed to show me something, it was Showcase Videography & Photography, the company she had seen before. We looked at video and books and pictures of previous weddings they had done and fell in love! It wasn't easy convincing my FH into spending money on photography AND video as he is very reluctant to let go of his hard earned money. Everyone he knew had spent money on pictures, only looked at them once so he didn't see the need to have video as well. Well, once we met with Aaron and saw what his company was providing, he was convinced Showcase was the company for us and we did in fact need the video! Aaron has always been very helpful, friendly, and professional from the first time I talked to him until yesterday when we got our pictures!! I was surprised to get them back in just over a month and couldn't be happier with them. The only thing I would have changed was allotting more time in between the service and the reception so we would have had more time for group pictures, but that was my doing. We were able to meet with the photographers and videographer beforehand so we could get a sense of what was needed/wanted from both groups. This really helped put me at ease come the wedding day as I knew the faces and personalities of the three people following me around all day. I had good advice from a friend when thinking about choosing a photographer and videographer. She told me it’s really important to have both because the day goes by so fast and there is so much you don’t even get to see! Our pictures are great to look at to remember the event but I have a feeling when we get to watch our video for the first time we are going to remember all the emotions of the day as well.

So dramatic!) and then I was delighted by both their fantastic customer service and, out of all the photographers I talked to, Sam was the one that really got my fiance and most as a couple -- and that interpersonal connection is vital when someone is photographing you. In addition, using both Aaron & Sam in the same package allows your day to be seamless so they can work together to capture moments v. being pulled by two different vendors for special photography and videography moments. - They get you your product back timely. He is also excellent for giving advice at times when you just can't think how to do everything. edding and we are still waiting to receive our wedding video. Mean while, we've seen videos posted from weddings after ours. We've tried contacting SVP seeking our video and they are no longer returning our inquiries. I feel for $5,000 (their Fusion package) one should not have to wait 8 months and longer for wedding video and feeling very hurt and disappointed with their lack of contacting us back. I change my recommendation, I would NOT recommend SVP unless Brides/Grooms do not mind waiting 8+ months for wedding video that was paid for well in advance. (2/12/14)I feel it only right to make a final review, after receiving our video. My husband and I picked our video up on 2/11/14. We are in LOVE with the video and very happy/pleased with SVP's work. The video captured the entire day, and they put their special touch on it. The video is the best part of any wedding day experience because you miss so much during the special day, and SVP captured those special moments and memories. I do not regret having SVP do our photography and videography. Their quality if definitely above the rest. The only negative was the waiting over 8 months to receive it.

He shot our wedding, and I can say without a doubt that he will give us a wonderful video. The easiest part of getting through the wedding was knowing that the day of, we could just sit back and try to enjoy our day that went by way too fast. We were both so comfortable with everything because when you choose great vendors that know what they are doing, you have nothing to worry about! I am a person that (usually always) finds a way to worry, but I didn't on the day of, because we were in the best hands possible. Our wedding day was a big whirlwind so its great to actually step back and enjoy the memories that were made. Aaron from SVP was very prompt in his correspondence, provides lots of trailers on the website to review past weddings he has covered, and even provided recommendations for music for our video. We were an out of state couple from where our wedding was held so we went based totally off of the SVP website using theknot.com and videos of others we knew from the area that had used his service as well. Our wedding day was the first day we had met Aaron. He was very friendly, was very detail oriented, and even offered to mail our video to us to help due to our out of state location. Wonderful! My only negatives would be that the video equipment showed up in a few of our photographer's pictures, it took some time to get the video equipment set up/down, and working in between the photographer's shots. These are very minute things in the grand scheme of things though. Overall, I would definitely recommend SVP to any bride in the NW Ohio area!

There were a few interesting moments throughout the evening (namely, some odd toasts and crazy dancers) , but SVP handled those things so professionally and was thorough and careful to cover the whole evening. will work with your budget and cater your package to what works for you. Work is excellent and never gets pushy or in the way while filming. Make sure you read the back of the contract... He has up to 6 months to produce the final product and if your wedding is in the busy summer months, you may not see your video until 6 months later. We did get a trailer posted on facebook for a taste of the final product that Aaron included as an unexpected extra. We were pleased with the SVP overall.

y of. The video packages were a little expensive but I am thinking it will be worth it for all of the editing and cinematography that he will add! I think he missed a few details - like me putting on my dress and our last song of the night, but it's hard to capture everything with only one camera man...and we had a long reception. I would say, just make sure you mention anything specific that you want to be captured on video!

He patiently explained how my day would look and was able to paint me a realistic picture almost a year away from our wedding day. We really wanted to get his middle package b/c of all the extras he adds to the movie, but unfortunately we ran out of money and ended up with just the basic package.
