DJ JR Perez, you killed it on our wedding day. Bliss Events Group, was amazing, we were so lucky and thrilled to have you be a part of our wedding day. Especially, DJ JR Perez, our wedding was an absolute blast. DJ JR did a phenomenal job with our family dynamic, he was able to incoporate music from both of our cultures and bring everyone together on the dance floor. We received so many compliments from our family and friends on our choice of DJ. JR was not only fantastic on our wedding day, but he was super helpful prior to our wedding day with our choice of music. DJ JR had great energy and kept the party going. The lighting was awesome, the cold sparklers were beautiful, and the Photo Booth was so much fun. This review is looooooong overdue! We had the honor of having DJ Sal create a lifetime memory of our wedding! We spoke to 4 or 5 DJ's prior to speaking with Bliss Events Group. The other wedding entertainment businesses lacked customer service. Most didn't follow up in a timely matter or tried to push their own vision onto us. As soon as we video chatted with Sal, there was an instant connection. It felt like we had known Sal for a decade. He listened to our vision. We probably spoke for 2 hours. Twenty of those minutes were spent talking about the wedding and the rest were spent talking about everything else. Sal is such a *******cool person! Like most vendors, Bliss required a deposit. Payment dates were flexible. The process of paying was convenient. Any questions, comments, or concerns were always addressed immediately. The only regret was not talking to Sal more leading up to the wedding! We cannot stress this enough but Sal is amazing! It would have been a treat to bull**** with Sal, but it's probably impossible with the amount of traffic he encounters on a daily basis. I was expecting to communicate with a DJ/MC much more than we did, but this is how much of a badass Sal is... all it took was a few conversations and he executed the PugaPremier! The Pugas love you Sal!

DJ Davey truly made our day so special! My husband Nathanael and I got married June 3rd, at Springville Ranch. Throughout the whole evening, he would give ideas to incorporate more stories of how we met, and to include our guests! He was an absolute dream to work with! He made the planning process go smoothly without any stress, even with the big day approaching. My favorite thing that he did was read our stories of how we met that we had posted on our Knot website. He read both versions while our guests were enjoying dinner, and thought it was so special that we took the time to cue our guests in of all of the amazing memories we had together that some people may not have known. I would recommend DJ Davey to anyone with a wedding coming up! He tailors the day to how you envision it, and how special you are as a couple. No wedding is the same! Our day was smooth, and we could not have done it without him!

Literally the highlight of our reception! Davey D, we love you! It’s been a month since our wedding and we STILL have family and friends talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and how amazing the DJ was! Professional, Kind, Fun, Fun, Fun are all words I would use to describe working with Davey D! Working with Davey was wonderful. He took the time to drive almost 2 hours up and 2 hours back to see the venue. He spent time making sure we had all of the details covered. He went over the timeline we made to make sure we were all on the same page. Davey came early on the day of to make sure things were set up and perfect for our couple. All this is great great great but Davey really came alive during the reception. He can read a crowd really well, knew just the right music to play for the guests, and did a great job with all of the formalities. The dance floor was full the entire night. It truly was a pleasure working with Davey he truly cares about his clients and it shows!

Davey was the absolute best DJ!! From the very beginning, he told us not to worry about anything, and he was right!! We had such a great experience with Bliss from start to finish! Davey was so helpful and accommodating during the planning process and was truly the best at our wedding. We were able to relax and enjoy our ceremony and reception and didn't have to deal with scheduling/timing of announcements and events. We even had guests asking if Davey was a family friend because of how well he interacted with and warmed up our guests. WOW is all I can say! Sal at Bliss was so amazing!!! He was so personable and friendly and was over the top willing to help us have our best day ever. After contacting multiple DJs he gave off the best vibes immediately. We were extra surprised with a beautifully personal DJ booth which was a great backdrop in all our dancing pictures. We had an older crowd and he did an excellent job starting with some older classics (Think Proud Mary, Jessie's Girl, etc) to get everyone dancing and excited and did a seamless job mixing in some awesome more current music that younger and older could get down to. He had great communication during our event and despite us having a schedule he was consistently checking in to make sure we were ready for every step or needed more time which helped ease any stress so we could just have fun! SO happy we chose Bliss!!!!

As a former wedding planner and now venue manager, I've seen a LOT of DJ's and I have yet to come across a more prepared, professional, engaging, polite, positive, and all around incredible DJ to work with. I found Bliss Events through a list my photographer Ellie Koleen sent me. I contacted them and they were professional for a reasonable price. I originally wasn't going to have anyone do music but have a friend do a playlist, but this was the way to go. No stress for us when we handed this over to people who know what they are doing. I hired them for ceremony music, which included all the perfectly timed music as well as mics for our officiant and a stand mic for when we said our vows. I also hired them for the DJ part of the reception and their photo booth. They called for a meeting about a week before the wedding to get a feel for what all things we wanted and we filled out a form of all the songs and announcements we wanted made. They had us send our wedding invitation so they could create a custom matching logo for the front of the DJ booth and for the photobooth strips. They made the wedding run smoothly working with our coordinator. The photobooth was soooo worth it. We got a guest book for everyone to paste in the photos and it was the best. Everyone loved it. It has unlimited printing which other local companies charged more for, and the backdrops were very classy. The only issue we had was that some of the versions of the songs they played were the incorrect version, but that was so minor we didn't mind. Seriously hire them! They are pumped at your wedding, keeping things upbeat, professional and they are great to work with. I could text them about questions all through the process. Great service!

Sal at Bliss Events went above and beyond for our wedding! WE LOVE BLISS! Throughout the planning process he put us at ease and took charge gracefully day-of. He took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple and we felt totally confident in our decision to go with Bliss! Towards the end of the planning process I felt pretty burnt out with other aspects of planning and I asked Sal chose our closing song and he absolutely DELIVERED! He also delivered with other details of the wedding that you don't consider to think about until you're in the moment. He didn't miss a BEAT with keeping the timeline on a roll, which is something most DJs I have seen struggle with or don't even provide. Our guests had a blast and were thoroughly entertained. Our guests, bridal party, my now Husband and I would choose him over and over if we could! Choosing Bliss was the easiest decision in the planning process! Planning (and re-planning) a wedding during a pandemic is not something we ever imagined, but DJ JR always remained positive and optimistic - which is exactly what we needed to get through this. His energy was always, always upbeat in our interactions both in-person and on Zoom - and even via text. We created a playlist of 80s/90s r&b for our cocktail hour and reception - and received many comments from guests about how nostalgic and happy it made them feel, which was exactly the vibe we were going for. JR played all of the songs and more and got our very small dance party started. :D He paid careful attention to the mood in the room (and with us) and adjusted the music accordingly, which was a level of care we really appreciated. He was so awesome to work with from our first meeting to our last, and kept our timeline going on the day of. He also assisted our violinist and officiant with the mics and audio, which was SO helpful! If you’re seeking a professional, friendly, kind-hearted, fun and knowledgeable DJ (that knows how to bring the Bliss VIBE) - then JR is your guy. If I could give bliss more than 5 stars I would! Years back I was introduced to this group and knew when the time came for my wedding day I NEEDED Bliss. We had the amazing Jose Arreguin at our reception. From the first meeting my sister and I met Jose, we knew then and there he was perfect for us. When my husband met him they clicked in an instant. We got so many compliments on Jose and how well he interacted with our guests. Again Bliss you guys are amazing!!!

We loved working with bliss and especially Davey! He was so fun and supportive through the entire process. He made our day run so smoothly and was personable. We liked that he brought everything that was needed for the entertainment piece of our night. After our wedding friends and family kept asking where we found him at because he was so hilarious and fun! He kept people dancing all night long and even jumped in to help our wedding coordinator!

As a bride, you don’t realize how much a DJ provides the overall atmosphere and energy at your wedding. They were able to DJ our wedding in August. Prior to the wedding they eliminated all stress, because they were very organized and listened to us. Everything we requested came through on the day of the wedding. Even for the ceremony, the band that was going to play when my wife walked down the isle didnt show, Sal was right there to play a song. Sal kept the party going from start to finish. Anything we needed trough out the night, he was there for us. They made the day very special. I would highly recommend their services.

My wife and I are extremely happy with our choice. Claudio did a phenomenal job as our DJ. He got the crowd going, he kept us informed on the next thing we were going to do. It was just amazing. Every guest we talked to complimented our DJ. Claudio was very easy to talk to and he responded back to texts and was flexible. I changed stuff last min. And he was able to do it with no problem. I can't say enough good things about DJ Sal and the Bliss Events Group team. From the beginning of our wedding planning process, right to the very end, they were absolutely amazing and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams a reality. When we first hired Sal, we let him know that we were planning on having a quartet for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner part of our wedding, so we really only needed him to be there for the evening reception/dancing. To our surprise, Sal wanted to join us for the entire day, and said he was more than happy to help with the general pacing of the day, working with our wedding coordinator to help everything flow nicely until it was his time to DJ. Maybe that's typical for wedding DJs, but we certainly never expected all of that from him, and it ended up being one of the biggest helps on our wedding day and truly one of the best things about Sal. What I quickly learned is that Sal not only wanted to make sure our wedding guests had a great time dancing, he wanted to make sure that our entire day went off without a hitch. And that was exactly what he did. He worked with our coordinator to help our guests move from one event to the next, he helped during our ceremony with microphones and sound, he announced our arrival into our dinner space, he lead our wedding speeches with confidence and charisma, and he guided our guests through a sparkler exit as we transitioned into dancing. He truly helped the entire day run smoothly and beautifully, and we were so surprised and so grateful. As far as the actual DJ-ing goes, Sal is absolutely amazing. He really listens to his clients and takes into consideration their personal music taste and likes/dislikes. He knows how to incorporate any kind of song you want to hear into your wedding day, and does it in a way that attracts the other guests to the dance floor. No request was too extreme for Sal. Our bride/groom entrance song was a song that I'm pretty sure he's probably never had requested before, but he was on board for anything and so excited about our vision. And he played every single song we had asked him to play, adding music choices of his own that fit our taste perfectly. One of my bridesmaids said she was so tired from dancing but she couldn't bring herself to leave the dance floor because every single song was amazing. Sal truly knows what he is doing!! Sal also did me a huge favor in helping me plan a surprise dance for my groom. I had choreographed a flash mob with the groomsmen and Sal was extremely helpful in the execution of the dance. Not only did he edit a song for us to use, but he constantly kept in communication with me from a separate email address of mine so that my groom never found out about our plan. There were literally times when Sal and I were emailing back and forth between two different emails, and he was always on top of things, always excited, and always ready to go. I really cannot thank Sal enough for everything he did for our wedding day. From the beginning of the ceremony, right to the very last dance, he was absolutely amazing and so supportive and kind. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a DJ in the Yosemite area and I know that if we ever need one again, we know exactly who to call!! Our father and mother dance exceed my expectations, specially with my mother. We were able to enjoy the night. Stress free just how I wanted it to be. Thank you so much!! I cannot say enough about DJ Jose Arreguín and Bliss Events Group. Jose went above and beyond with helping us set an itinerary for our wedding day when we had no clue what to expect. He was so knowledgeable and willing to help. Our guests were entertained with music from the moment they arrived through to the cocktail hour and reception. DJ Jose knows how to read a crowd and always knew exactly what to play for the moment. My biggest concern with our multicultural wedding was making sure that everyone enjoyed the music and DJ Jose had the best playlist that kept our entire wedding party on their feet dancing. He was an amazing MC for our wedding, moving us seamlessly from one event to the next. His bilingual skills made sure that everyone was tuned in. DJ Jose thank you for helping our wedding be everything and more than we had hoped for. We will be sure to think of DJ Jose the next time we have an event. Thank you!

The moment we met with Bliss, we already knew they were it! Literally spent 3 hours chatting it up with the guys the first day we met. We had Jose for our wedding. And he DELIVERED! Over the year of planning and meeting up with Jose, we not only got a Dj but found a dear friend in him. Any worries you have, Jose will definitely put your mind at ease. There’s just so many things about him that we loved, we’re literally good buds. We didn’t have music for our church ceremony, literally the last minute, HE SHOWED UP AND PLAYED MUSIC FOR US. And it was exactly what I envisioned. During the reception we had so much going on, as far as dances etc, but he kept it going. Our wedding was crackin’! So much fun! He made things personal and intimate that our wedding became that much more special. Tears of joy, tears of laughter all around. He answered all of our questions, and I had a ton of them. He met up with us multiple times and was super flexible. He’s just an all around stand up guy. Thank you Jose! We absolutely love you!

My husband and I got married on 6/8/19 and let me just say Bliss Events Group is the way to go......Davey D. you did a phenomenal job and we are forever grateful that we chose Bliss , Davey You helped make it an EPIC night. I’m still getting phone calls, texts messages etc. about how awesome, our wedding was, and you kept guests entertained laughing, and on the dance floor. Thank you again, Love the Freitas Family!

David was our wedding DJ. From the first time that we met, we knew that we had the best DJ and that our wedding ceremony and reception were going to be great. He worked with us to understand what kind of music we liked, what we wanted from before the ceremony to the time of our exit, had great suggestions, and was fun to work with. He was thorough and put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that he had all the music for our wedding in place well in advance, and he was thoughtful in ensuring the creation of moments that people would remember. His greatest skill was as the emcee for the wedding. He knew how to read the crowd and ensure that the reception was fun, kept the evening moving smoothly, and made it a perfect evening. He was a great sport in working with us and going with our ideas, no matter how unusual they may be (and was a big supporter of rickrolling a younger-brother groomsman!). We were so happy to be able to work with him and to have him make our wedding so special.
