’t help that my original event specialist ended up leaving half way through planning… but even after that I felt like I was always reaching out to check on things and nobody on their end was being proactive. And the few weeks leading up to the wedding there was a lot of extra stress on me due to lack of communication between the event staff. It’s almost like there were too many cooks in the kitchen and I never knew who I should be talking to about what. Overall I would recommend having your wedding there! We had a room block at the DoubleTree hotel so guests didn’t have to drive after the reception which was awesome too!

ing the planning process, Chelsey responded to emails and calls in a timely manner, worked with our schedule to make it possible for a taste testing, and helped make everything run smoothly the day of! Not only was the staff great, but the venue and view was incredible. Also, having the reception venue connected to the hotel was very convenient! We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue and hotel. If you're considering a wedding in or near Port Huron, I highly recommend the Blue Water Convention Center!

. We had several out of town guests stay at the Port Huron Doubletree which is attached to the Blue Water Convention Center and they were also great to work with. It was extremely nice being able to have everything all at one place (the caterer, ceremony, reception, and the hotel for the guests to stay). The Blue Water Convention Center helped make my big day perfect!

BWCC paid great attention to detail and worked hard to make our day perfect - the room was set early for us to do our decorating, and the event coordinator & operations staff were friendly & helpful. The food from Freighters was delicious and well-received by our guests. We were permitted to bring all sorts of decor into the space, too, which allowed us to make our day our own. We highly recommend BWCC for a unique, appealing wedding venue!

e arraignment and it totally worked. The view of the river and bridge are absolutely breathtaking from the room with the large windows. The catering from Fighters was, like always, great tasting and presentation. We also rented the deck so guests could go outside. I highly recommend!
