My name is Gabrielle McKinzie, and I am a licensed cosmetologist that specializes in wedding hair and makeup. I obtained my cosmetology license in 2018. However, I have ALWAYS been the one that all of my friends and family have come to for all things hair and makeup throughout the years.
When doing wedding hair and makeup, my ultimate goal is to highlight the natural features and the natural beauty of each nearlywed that I service, leaving them to feel absolutely beautiful, confident, and eager to walk down the aisle.
Being a wife and mom of two littles, I know how crazy life is without the added stress and pressure of planning a wedding. I strive to offer my clients the luxury of booking their hair and makeup and then not having to give it another thought until the big day.
To minimize stress and ensure convenience for my couples on their wedding day, I travel to their location of choice. I also offer out-of-town travel for an additional fee.

She was very professional and helpful from start to finish. She was great to work with when initially seeking information and getting quotes, to my bridal trial in making sure it was EXACTLY what I wanted, to the week of when she flexibly arrived 30 minutes earlier than we first planned. Gabrielle and her team were kind, encouraging, and everything I could ask for our hair and makeup artist(s). The quality of service was amazing and I can tell she loves what she does! Very glad I used her for my wedding day.

Gabrielle was great to work with and communicated very well. My hair trial was super helpful and Gabrielle did 2 different styles I was deciding between. She came to my apartment to do bridesmaid hair and makeup, mom makeup and my (bride) hair. I was happy to find someone who had all their own tools and makeup, unlike other MUAs who sometimes make you supply your own foundation, etc.

Gabrielle and her team did such an amazing job getting me and my bridesmaids ready for the day. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and I cannot say enough about how great an experience it was working with her. At the last minute someone from her team was ill and couldn't make it, and I was refunded the fee for the extra person which I was not expecting. Just overall great customer service and hair and makeup was fabulous!

I cannot recommend Blush and Bobby enough. If you are looking for a more natural soft glam, she is perfect. I do not normally wear a lot of makeup so I was skeptical at first but wow I was so happy with how everything turned out! Communication was easy and she incorporated everything we discussed during our trial run into the wedding day. The updo was absolutely gorgeous and I got so many compliments!

Blush and Bobby was great at my wedding! I had lots of people getting their hair and makeup done and we got done in a timely manner! Gabrielle did a great job in keeping me (bride) calm and looked out for me when the nerves came and my stomach hurt! She made me feel very comfortable, and everyone loved their hair and makeup. Cannot thank her and her team enough!

Gab, there so much I could say! She and her assistant Lia were so great! They were early and very helpful they answered every questions we had as a group, they were very interactive with us and just great all around! Not a bad thing to say about either one of them. I’d definitely higher again for any event.

Gabrielle was such an amazing hair and makeup artist! She did my bridal makeup trial and I knew she was going to kill it at my wedding. And then my at my wedding she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I was GLOWING and my hair held up against the June heat in MO with no problem. She was actively engaged in all the conversations in the bridal suite, and it made the experience so much better. I truly can't say enough about her and her work. AND she travelled an hour to my wedding location, which not many artists were willing to do.

I had a wonderful experience with Gabrielle doing my hair/makeup for my wedding! She was kind, friendly and professional. I had limited knowledge and ideas about hair/makeup, but she helped explain things in an easy to understand way. She also worked with me and asked questions to figure out what I would like best. We did a hair/makeup trial before the wedding which helped me feel prepared. Trial day was gross, rainy, humid weather and wedding day was like 103-105 degrees. Hair/makeup held up extremely well both days (wedding indoors but spent several hours outside both days). She also had an assistant for the day-of who was skilled and friendly as well. I also needed hair done for 7 other women early in the morning day-of and Gabrielle was honest and upfront about the time frame I needed being tight for the number of people, and we worked out a solid game plan for handling that. Gabrielle and the other stylist ended up being able to do everyone's hair in the timeframe and everyone looked beautiful! Would have been understanding if we had run out of time as anticipated due to the tight schedule but was so glad they were able to help everyone. I highly recommend Gabrielle, she was a joy to work with and obviously passionate and skilled in what she does. :)
