Absolutely horrible. I used this company to provide a reggae band. I was extremely embarrassed by the fact the musician kept stopping the music and was not technically inclined to even connect to WiFi during downtime. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to submitting payment.
Don't hire this band, I guess if I had read some other reviews on other sites I would have realized I should have skipped them. There isn't enough space in this box to fully convey how upset I am w/BMuzick. Up until I signed the contract and paid the deposit, Benny (the only contact) was responsive, helpful, friendly, etc. He answered calls, emails, texts, you name it. Once I booked, he was MIA. I was promised the name of the band members prior to my corp event and contacted him several times, got them the morning of via text! And only because I called him that morning for it. I was promised social media videos of the band members coming to my event so I could know what to expect, that never happened. When the band showed up, it was awful. They must have been there standing around for almost an hr before I noticed they were not set up on stage to start on time so I went to find out. The main guy was nice enough but said he and his friends got the gig Wed of that wk (my event was Sat) and I signed the contract 2-3 months prior and then there was some drama w/the sound guy. The one that showed up said he was found on Craigslist that afternoon because the other one had an emergency, but this guy hadn't been paid so refused to set up equipment until I paid him, mind you I already paid BMuzick in FULL. Everything was completely unprofessional. We all tried calling Benny SEVERAL times and he was of course, unreachable with a full VM box. In the end, the band was HORRIFFIC. I was so embarrassed as I had been talking up the live music aspect of my event for months! I paid for 3 hrs of play time (or close to 2.5 with breaks) and they MAYBE played for 1.5 hrs total. The lead singers were awful. This entire experience was such a failure in my opinion and I would NEVER recommend this band to ANYONE. I don't care how cheap they are. Apparently it's a "network" of bands across the country but I was assured several times by Benny that the quality of the entertainers were high and the same across the board, no matter who was booked for you. NOT TRUE. Don't hire them, save yourself the $$, time and stress, not to mention embarrassment if you are an event planner. In the end, Benny had all the excuses as to why the sound guy was the way he was, why he wasn't reachable for almost my entire event, etc. etc. but if someone is paying for a service, the expectation is you receive that service. Honestly, he should refund me the $$ for the time the band didn't play. Of course I emailed him that recommendation and a month later have not heard from him. I'm so disgusted w/this entire experience.
Avoid doing business with. They hired my band to play a gig they couldn’t do and then didn’t pay us, cutting off contact. They are thieves.
This band (based in the south east) booked a gig in Ottawa Canada. A week or so before the gig they reached out to the Ottawa musicans Facebook group to find players to fulfill the gig. I put together a band last minute for them, performed the gig, and the client was very happy.
The Bmuzick band then argued with the client about being paid in USD vs CAD. The client assured me they negotiated the price in Canadian. The Bmuzick contact told me they used the “American $” sign ( Canada also uses the $).
The client told me they had paid Bmuzick and then I never heard from them again.
good musicians and everyone had a great time dancing at my wedding welcome party. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and stupid. I hired them 5 weeks before my event. i spent five weeks hounding them for the certificate of insurance that had to be provided to the venue, Fox Theatre Atlanta. one day before the event, while i'm getting ready for my rehearsal dinner, the fox tells me the band will not be allowed on the property bc of their failure to provide their insurance form. finally, they sent it in after my mom, the venue manager and myself spent several hours explaining WHY they needed to do this. What really pissed me off is the the band manager was insisting that this was not necessary bc the contract was between me and the band. The event was from 6 to 9 and they did not start playing til approx 6:45. I saw the vendors meals be delivered to them and then Benny (the band manager) told me they didn't get them and wanted to eat from the buffet with the guests. The day before the event when I was dealing with their insurance BS, I asked benny what instruments were coming and he refused to tell me. ---- providing a COI "certificate of insurance" to the venue is standard procedure for vendors. My family brought in some furniture to the venue and we had to provide a COI. It was very easy cost us $100.
