Weeks leading up to the wedding, and the day of, she coordinated with all of the vendors to ensure everything was set up and ready to go. From getting-ready, ceremony and reception she was there orchestrating the entire thing. I was able to fully enjoy my day knowing she had everything under control. One of the things that impressed me most about Monika was her attention to detail. She made sure that every little thing was taken care of, from the flowers to the music to the decorations. She was a champ working with the staff at the venue site that had never hosted a wedding before. She advocated for what I wanted so that I did not have to stress. Our wedding date of 7/11/20 was one that gave us plenty of time to go through a natural timeline of when things should be happening and Monika was available each and every time I needed her but what do they say about life… you make a plan and it will conspire against it. The beautiful wedding we’d been planning would hang in balance as I faced a terrible health issue. In the blink of an eye, we went from having over a year to plan the wedding of our dreams to OMG we need to just make this official as soon as possible. The moment Monika learned of what was happening, she reached out and it made it that much clearer that she carries a different type of passion for what she does. Not only did she commit to making sure that we were going to make the absolute best of a horrible situation, but she made it clear that our contract was null and void, which meant that every single thing that she did for us, was done from a place of human compassion, such a rarity these days. While I was lying in a hospital bed unable to make any important decisions, Monika took the reins and boy are we glad she did. The miracles she was able to work in one week speak even further to the personal connections that she has with people. How she managed to secure an intimate dinner space for our closest family and friends and decorate it to perfection is still beyond me. Every detail from my custom bouquet, my husband’s boutonniere, photographer and a full complimentary wedding cake left us in complete and total awe of who she is as a person. She was even able to secure our very first dance at the restaurants piano bar at a moment’s notice. My husband and I were surrounded by the love and support that we so desperately needed and we cannot say enough good things about how appreciative we are to have had Monika be a part of our night. We are so glad we didn’t just allow our grief to rob us of a moment and that she was an angelic voice of reason in that area. There are dozens of event planners on this site, but you will be hard pressed to find a woman as astonishing as Monika. Your wedding day should be everything that you dream of, so the person you chose to help facilitate this dream is one of the most important decisions you will make.
