Brennan's Restaurant

I strongly advise against booking an event at Brennan’s, particularly with event coordinator Kasey Weisnicht. My rehearsal dinner, which should have been a special occasion, was overshadowed by her lack of communication, organization, and professionalism. From the start, she was difficult to reach, often taking weeks to respond. Despite providing a detailed seating chart well in advance, she never scheduled a final meeting or reviewed details, leading to multiple issues. The day before the event, when I arrived to drop off décor, she was rude and visibly irritated, treating us as an inconvenience. On the event day, I arrived early to find the setup completely incorrect—wrong table placements, missing chairs, and incorrect place settings. When I called Kasey for help, she was dismissive, unprofessional, and even blamed me. She failed to inform us that we were responsible for setting up the supplies, leaving me scrambling to arrange everything last-minute in formal attire. She never showed up to oversee the event. Additional failures included: 1. Ignoring our beer-and-wine-only request, stocking hard liquor instead. (Ten minutes before guests arrived, we noticed the issue. Instead of offering the upgrade at no additional cost, they scrambled to remove all hard liquor from the bar. Given the stress they had already caused, you would think they’d offer some form of compensation or upgrade to make amends—but no.) 2. Failing to include our wedding crest on the menus, despite requesting it. 3. Making me gather guests’ meal selections, only for servers to take orders tableside. 4. Neglecting to set up a memorial table she confirmed she would arrange. Despite the chaos and stress she caused, there was no follow-up, apology, or attempt to make amends. Her unprofessionalism and lack of accountability completely soured what should have been a joyful night. I was shocked and frankly disgusted by the level of disrespect Kasey showed me and my mother-in-law—both paying customers. Her lack of professionalism and accountability caused unnecessary stress that could have been entirely avoided had she simply done her job and scheduled a final meeting to review event details. Instead, her negligence and dismissive attitude completely ruined what should have been a joyful evening. An event coordinator’s job is to assist in planning and setup, ensuring a seamless experience and alleviating stress for the customer. Kasey failed in every aspect—miserably. That said, the waiting staff was incredibly kind and did their best to help amidst the chaos. The food was delicious, which was one of the few redeeming aspects of the night.I’m incredibly disappointed that Brennan’s, a highly respected establishment, would allow such behavior from an employee and make no effort to reach out or make amends. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.
