Alexis was technically our month-of-coordinator, but she did so much more than that and was an amazing resource and soundboard starting from our first intro call... Alexis is so organized, thorough, and flexible. She is very communicative (text, email, regular calls, etc.) and had amazing suggestions throughout the process in terms of timeline, vendors, and small but meaningful ways we can make our wedding more personalized and more "us". Our wedding turned out so perfect. It was truly the most fun day ever and beyond our wildest dreams. Alexis was SO on her A game (as per usual) and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We could go on and on about how much we love Alexis and how much she added to our wedding planning experience / wedding day... Alexis was an absolute joy to work with and she took away so much of our stress, had great ideas that materialized beautifully, and ensured that the whole wedding day ran smoothly. 10/10 would recommend.

Alexis was KEY to making sure our wedding went off without a hitch! I was living in Costa Rica while my soon-to-be wife was thrust into full planning mode by herself—- then in walks Alexis. Hiring her was the best thing we could have done to have an incredible wedding. Alexis had weekly meeting with us via zoom and even helped by making a checklist-contacting vendors-walking the venue early- and making sure my wife had everything set-up for a flawless day. On the day of the wedding Alexis kept the timeline running, reminded us of special things we wanted to do (you end up being very forgetful on your wedding day), and even ordered our Uber for the end of the night/grand exit. It was incredible. Alexis was the best money spent for our wedding!

I cannot say enough to thank Alexis (Karis) for making my husband and I's wedding day an absolute dream. Especially the wedding planning! All green flags from Alexis from the first time we spoke: She is extremely detail oriented, makes sure herself and the bride mesh well before moving forward with booking to make sure it's a good fit, and ensured she would go above and beyond to keep our line of communication open always during wedding planning. Let me say, she exceeded all expectations a bride could really have throughout the year and a half we worked together. Alexis and Haley of Brick and Ivy were the dream wedding planners. Throughout the seven month process of planning our wedding, they took the stress out of the planning process. Not only are they caring and attentive, but their work ethic reflects their goal: achieving your dream of a wedding. With every step of the planning process, they were sure to be as thorough and detailed as possible. Alexis and Haley take your vision of an ideal wedding and make it happen. First, they break down every detail of how you picture your special day. Then, they take that vision and recommend vendors/places/items that would help in achieving your big day. Not only are they always open to talk and available to assist, but they also schedule meetings to check on the progress of your goals. Finally, it culminates in an unforgettable day, where they are all-hands on deck for the day-off. There was never a question they couldn’t answer, and if there was, they would find the answer as quickly as possible. Heroes at the intersection of grace, grit, swiftness, and get sh!t done. Alexis and her assistant Keaton were a god send y’all, they knocked it out of the freaking park. Do you want a planner that feels like a bestie, has your back, can gracefully command a room, is such an impressive go-getter, and operates with integrity and joyfulness? Book Brick and Ivy Events, like, yesterday! It was SO important to me for all of our vendor partners to feel like “our people” - warm, joyful, fun, etc. I dreamed of finding a planner that was all those things, and most importantly - one that I could trust. One of my bridesmaids referred me to Alexis of Brick and Ivy Events, and it was hands down one of our best decisions in the entire planning process. Alexis and Keaton went above and beyond the call of duty with warm introductions, the sweetest engagement gift, increasing Zoom calls leading up to the big day, flexibility amidst our postponements (yes, plural), and such intentional professional presence on the day-of. Truly WOW! To some, my mom and sister and I may have been an enthusiastic (and perhaps daunting) trio — designing the wedding, doing our own florals (!!!), planning every last detail of the weekend…I mean, that requires a lot of faith from your planning team. But without fail, every single Zoom call and update and plot twist, Alexis and Keaton met our (sometimes crazy) ideas with quick understanding, joyful enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Their checklist throughout the process helped give us peace of mind that we were dotting all of our i’s and crossing all the t’s. They offered suggestions to our ideas that needed perfecting, and they leaned into our ideas that were so crazy, they just might work. Our venue’s General Manager shared that, in their post-event debrief, they had concluded that our wedding weekend was absolutely “perfect.” Alexis and Keaton were such solid rocks for us throughout the planning process, they were simply a joy to work with and executed our wedding day flawlessly. ((But for real, now can I just book Zoom calls to hangout??)) So grateful to Alexis and Keaton. Big big love for Brick and Ivy Events!!

Alexis was great to work with from the start! She was so helpful with the little details and keeping us on track leading up to our wedding. Haley was our day of coordinator for the wedding, and she ran the show flawlessly. If anything was not going to plan, we did not notice. We had to do some audibles because of the rain but there were no missteps with that. It was a great team to work with and if needed coordinators again, we would choose this team!

ALEXIS IS AMAZING!! The biggest advice I can give anyone is that getting a wedding planner should be the first thing you do BEFORE picking a venue or anything else. By the time I booked with Alexis, we already had most of our big decisions made and she helped us deal with so many headaches from our venue. She has your back and will ask all of the right questions. Our final decisions for day of were all over the place because we moved our wedding inside so it was a mess, full chaos. It definitely put more stress on Alexis and her team but on the day of the wedding, she was nothing but smiles and positive energy. She was by my side keeping me updated and ready for the next move and she's so composed, I couldn't tell if she was even stressed so it helped me relax and enjoy the day. She really takes the reigns and gets it done. We had cute little handouts for our ceremony that I never finished cutting, I figured we would just be short, but I walked down and saw Alexis cutting the rest of them out!! I hadn't even told her about them!! I could go on forever. She made our day SOOOO perfect. We had so many issues with our venue and were expecting things to not go as planned but she made it happen. It was better than we had ever imagined! I highly highly recommend!

Have you ever gone to a wedding and one of the biggest compliments you get from your friends and family is how amazing your wedding coordinator/planner is? WELL, Alexis was a STAR! So many of my friends and family have worked in the wedding industry and were in awe of how kind, professional, and wonderful Alexis was! I knew all this--- but that's because Alexis started helping me as soon as she was hired. Alexis is nothing short of all around incredible. Starting months out, she would have little check-ins with me. Then she helped me with lists, and coordination, and confirmation. I'm not exaggerating, I COULD NOT have had the amazing wedding I ended up having WITHOUT ALEXIS! She was the best money we spent on our wedding (I know it's a weird way to put that), but If I could go back in time, I would have hired her SOONER. She even helped me post-wedding with questions and concerns I had with some vendors. 10/10 If I ever have another large event and need help planning, I'm hiring Alexis!

Alexis was so great! We used her as a day of coordinator. She thoroughly helped us get everything situated and alleviated any stress we had leading up to the day of! At our actual wedding, she helped everything go so smoothly, I have absolutely 0 complaints and would recommend her to anyone I know getting married! Alexis was great! I hired her for a month of coordinator and day of coordinator and I do not regret it. She made sure that everything was checked off the list and helped me stay calm and excited. She had weekly calls and those calls were venting sessions that I needed throughout the process. She understood all my emotions and validated how I felt throughout it all. The day of she made sure I did not hear about anything that was going on behind the scenes and made sure I was happy and unbothered the whole time. I highly recommend her!

Alexis with Brick & Ivy is freaking amazing!!!! I never wanted a coordinator or planner, but let me tell you!!! When I say she is EVERYTHING and MORE!!!! She stayed on me and made sure I was meeting deadlines, we had monthly, weekly, then daily meetings and even though we were planning the wedding it felt like I was talking to a friend!! She understood every request we had and helped us in ever way she could. When the day finally came everyone complimented us on how effective she was and how supportive she was. Everything ran so smooth because of her. And honestly I probably would have lost my mind without her!! No matter what went wrong on that day she kept everyone calm and was just a part of our wedding as everyone else was!

Picking Alexis as our wedding planner was the best decision we made for our wedding. Alexis was just what I was looking for. I debated on getting a "month of" planner but I'm so glad that I did. She helped me organize my scattered bride brain. She has such a great positive energy too, which made her enjoyable to work with! Would highly recommend to other brides in a similar situation that I was in. She made my last month of planning a lot less stress-free!

Alexis is THE BEST! I will not hesitate to say that I am a control freak and total type A personality. My main concern was that I wouldn't be able to chill on my wedding day. I can honestly say that I did not have one worry on my wedding day. Literally not one. In fact, I was so chill that I almost forgot my bridal bouquet moments before walking down the aisle when Alexis saved the day and got it to me just in time. Alexis has eyes everywhere at all times. She does not miss a detail. Before every event began at the reception, she made sure to ok it by me first and make sure I liked how things were going. She came hours before and was the last one to leave alongside my parents at the end of the night. There were absolutely no misses, all hits. Knowing how much of a perfectionist I am, I had planned to go by the Carlisle room that afternoon to make sure everything was going as planned and that deliveries were being made. I was so confident and relaxed, that I didn't even see anything or think about it until Chris and I were being announced. It's like I forgot about all of the details and things going because she was there. I was at ease all day and that was the most important thing to me other than marrying the man of my dreams. If you are looking for an extremely organized, kind, genuine, fun, professional, CHOOSE ALEXIS!! She looked out for every little detail and went above and beyond what I could have ever asked. From bustling my gown, to taking care of all personal items, to making sure we got to eat, to just hands down making ish happen, she did it all! I will absolutely be using her again in the future with upcoming events. :)

Alexis was amazing! She was super organized for our special day…made a full wedding timeline and sent out to all the vendors to make sure everyone knew what time and where! Anything I needed, she made happen! I highly recommend using Brick and Ivy events!

During the wedding planning process, the bride has to make thousands of decisions: venue, food, music, etc. etc. Of all those choices, the best choice I made in planning my wedding was hiring Alexis. My only regret in my planning decisions was that I didn’t have the budget to have her for the full time. If you have any kind of event, I could not recommend her more strongly. She is impeccably organized, professional, friendly, and an absolute miracle of order and management. I hosted a wedding for about 90 people with more than ten vendors to coordinate. As many other brides out there will know, working full time while planning a wedding of that scope is not an easy task. As soon as my month with Alexis began, my stress levels plummeted. She was on top of every task, delivering succinct to-do lists, coordinating with and contacting my vendors, ironing out details, and considering details I would never have known to think about otherwise. We met weekly and each meeting was succinct, productive, and left me feeling calmer. On the day of my wedding, Alexis acted as film producer, ship captain, and conductor, and she killed it. She was simultaneously (amazingly!) directing all vendors on what to do, fixing several of my dumb mistakes I made in counting out things beforehand, decorating, rehearsing with my bridal party, making sure everything was in its proper place, and keeping everyone calm. She maintained her friendly, professional, and calm demeanor throughout—perfect for someone whose job is to direct chaos. I can say with 100% certainty that I would not have enjoyed my wedding day anywhere near as much without Alexis at the helm of my wedding ship doing all the work I otherwise would have had to worry about. Her experience and expertise in the industry, professional and friendly demeanor, and incredible management skills are invaluable to anyone planning a big event.

Alexis and Jordan are awesome! We are definitely grateful for all that they've done. If you're thinking of getting wedding planners, I would highly suggest you do. It is absolutely worth it especially for bigger weddings. At the very least, get a Day-of Coordinator. And if you want it to be organized, on time, and on point, hiring Brick & Ivy Events is the way to go. We hired them as a Full Planning.. er.. planners, and I don't know how we could've done it without them. We reached out for help as my wife and I's job can get pretty demanding. Alexis and Jordan were patient and made sure we were on track with our to-do's. Other than the venue, with which we chose prior to hiring them, we went with their suggested vendors and we do not regret a single one. On the day of the wedding, all we had to worry about was dolling up and not tripping walking down the aisle. Jordan made sure the venue was perfect and beautiful with the provided decorations, all while communicating and handling all the vendors. Alexis coordinated the whole day, making sure we were on schedule, and making sure all was in place. You know they're good when a review sounds fake but isn't haha. Hire them before they get big and you'll have to reserve months in advance. :)

Our wedding was amazing due to Alexis by our side. I didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. She kept us on track throughout the planning process and on schedule the day of. If things did go wrong, we didn't know about them because she had it handled. Our wedding was perfect.

Alexis was fantastic to work with. From our very first conversation, I could tell that she was an extremely thoughtful and genuine person and that she really cared about her clients. She instantly made me feel at ease and I just knew she had my back. Not being in the industry, there were so many details I didn’t know I had to think about or questions I didn’t know to ask....Alexis did a fantastic job managing all those little details and keeping my stress levels down. She is very detail oriented, organized, communicative, and did a phenomenal job managing our vendors/ timeline. We had some last minute curveballs thrown our way and she was able to adapt quickly and make sure our day went off without a hitch. She was Amazing-- on top of everything, was a great communicator, made sure Everybody had Everything they needed Exactly when they needed it, and kept the trains running on time the whole day. Alexis was the beat addition to our wedding in so many ways. I took my mother in laws advice and decided to look for a wedding planner on the knot. Honestly, I was going to probably hire whoever replied to me fastest with a price in our budget. Alexis was both of those things! And within an hour I was in! Words cannot describe how thankful I am that we were able to have her for our wedding. She is a strong assertive woman in the most helpful way. My (now) husband told me later that he was so glad we had her to tell us exactly where to go and when. Our day would have been a disaster without her, but her constant effort made our day seamless!! Wish I could give 100 stars! Alexis is calm, organized and strategic throughout the planning process. I knew in looking for a planner that I needed one of those three things, but never thought I would get all three. I have a crazy group of family and friends and Alexis was able to not only keep them all at bay, but keep my head on straight throughout the entire day of our wedding. I can not recommend her enough to all the brides out there looking for a friend to help plan their wedding. You won’t regret it!

Alexis is so great to work with! I was the dessert vendor for an event she planned and she consistently checked in with me along the way to make sure I had everything I needed. She was very organized and was able to answer all of my questions. To top it off, she is very personable and fun to team with. I hope we get to work with her again!
