I absolutely loved working with Mandy! Mandy showed up early and ended up getting my and my bridesmaids' hair/make-up done well ahead of schedule! Even with make-up starting at 8 am, everyone looked great throughout our evening ceremony and reception (until 11 pm!). Prior to my wedding day, I had decided to not do a trial and this ended up being perfectly fine! I was able to describe what I wanted (loose romantic updo and natural make-up) and Mandy did it beautifully! Thank you Mandy!

Brides and Beauty was incredible on my wedding day! I had 11 services and they all looked so beautiful. My bridemaids and I LOVED our make up and hair looks all night long. Mandy was the best and knowlegable about make up and hair. She was so fun to talk to and understood all the looks each gal wanted on this fun day. I HIGHLY recomend for your big day!

Save yourself the trouble and do NOT book with this company!! Communication was terrible. There was always an excuse when something went wrong. My makeup artist, Genesis, showed up TWO HOURS late on my wedding day. I was then fighting with them for 3 weeks following my wedding to get my money back for services that were not completed due to her being 2 hours late. The only good thing about the company was Melissa (I think was her name) that did our hair. She was on time, did great work and made great conversation.

I want to start out this review by stating that I completely understand that things happen and that sometime people have health conditions that that cannot control. When I first started talking with Brides & Beauty, they were decently responsive to conversations and helpful with answering questions. I eventually received a phone number which was helpful so all communication didn't have to be on The Knot. There was a bit of a delay in communication when booking my trial, but she was dealing with a loss, which is completely understandable. I was able to book my trail and the trail went fairly well. I did ask for a copy of our signed contract to be emailed to me, which it never was. I had also asked a few times for my total pricing (which wasn't provided to me until I was given the timeline for my wedding 14 days prior) which was after totals were due. This resulted in me overpaying, which was resolved in the end. After the trail, communication started to get very poor, and I wouldn't hear back on multiple occasions. I had requested a timeline to be provided earlier than 14 days, and did not get it until I asking for it twice 14 days prior to the wedding. On the morning of the wedding, I had reached out to Mandy at 07:42 (set up was supposed to be at 8) to let her know the hotel room that we were in. I received a text back that she was unable to make it (due to illness) and would be sending a replacement Kelsey. Like I stated earlier, I completely understand that things happen, but this is something that should have been communicated with me as soon as Mandy knew she was going to be unable to attend. I don't believe I would have been notified about this had I not reached out. Kelsey did arrive on time, but was not provided the timeline or reference pictures by Mandy. Kelsey was very professional and did a wonderful job with our hair and makeup. She was ahead of schedule which allowed us extra time with photos and time to relax. At the end of the day, I loved my hair and makeup more than I did at the trail. I was just very very upset with the lack of professional communication that I received from Mandy. For this reason, I cannot recommend their services. I had so much unnecessary anxiety due to the lack of communication that I received.

I was very disappointed with my experience with Brides & Beauty. I hired them over a year before my wedding and never felt like they did a good job with communication. I had to follow up after sending my signed contract and paying the deposit because they never confirmed that they received it and it took multiple weeks before getting a response. I was able to schedule my trial where Kelsey listened to my requests and did a wonderful job. I heard absolutely nothing from Mandy or her team leading up to the wedding. I had to reach out multiple times to confirm the number of people receiving services and never felt like some of my questions were answered. My contract stated that I would get the day-of schedule two weeks before the wedding which did not happen. I once again had to be the one to reach out and finally did get a schedule from them less than a week before the wedding which made scheduling other vendors very difficult. I got a text from Mandy the morning of my wedding at 8am (the time she said she would be there and start setting up) that she was unable to make it and was sending two women that I had never met before. I completely understand that one of her children was sick and that she was trying to prevent spreading that illness, but to wait until the very last moment to tell me was unprofessional. She never told me why Kelsey was unable to make it. My trial photos were NOT sent to her replacements so I was very lucky that I had my own photos from that day to show and go off of. The stylist that did my hair did something VERY different from my trial photo which I ultimately asked her to take down and redo. This whole scenario obviously caused a lot of stress for me the morning of my wedding. With some guidance from my bridesmaids, she eventually did do my hair in a way that I was happy with. It is very disappointing to read all the other amazing reviews about Mandy and her team and wonder why I did not receive the same treatment. Based off my experience, I would never recommend Brides & Beauty to anyone planning their wedding.

I was very happy with how my hair and makeup turned out on the day of the wedding. I loved how I looked and couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. Mandy and her team were very easy to get along with on the day of, and we had a blast on the morning of the wedding. I wish that it was easier to communicate with them, and we only received a schedule 14 days in advance which made the rest of planning with our other vendors a little difficult.

My experience with this company and the women who worked with us specifically was fantastic. Communication was good, punctual, and professional. I changed my hair and makeup style last minute and they had no problem rolling with the changes and making me feel comfortable. Would recommend to anyone!

Mandy made myself and all of my bridesmaids so beautiful for the day with no stress. She was sweet and professional and my makeup was rock solid. Stayed on the whole time. I accidentally slept in my eyelashes and those suckers were still looking good in the morning. Absolutely awesome. Definitely recommend.

Brides and Beauty did a great job with the hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. Mandy is professional and sweet, and she made me feel so beautiful for my wedding. My look lasted all day and I was so grateful that she worked with me to get myself and all my bridesmaids done in a timely fashion. The prices were affordable and the communication leading up to the big day was smooth. I definitely recommend Brides and Beauty for your big day!

Mandy, and her team were amazing! I ended up with a totally different look for my wedding day than at my trial and Ashley did an amazing job at capturing what I wanted even though I threw some changes at her last minute! My makeup turned out amazing and lasted all day! My hair was beautiful and I got compliments all day. They also did an amazing job with my bridal party and were so sweet. Happy to have them on our special day!

Mandy did a FANTASTIC job at making sure I got the look I wanted for my wedding. She was so honest at the trial when I showed her what I wanted in the beginning warning me that the hairstyle more than likely will require extensions. I have pretty thick corse hair so naturally I was thinking…nah I’ll be fine. So we went through the trial and at the end it just felt like something was missing and she was right. There wasn’t enough volume. While I wasn’t wanting to spend more….like she told me…we have one time to get this right. So I spent the extra money for hair extensions and she matched the color perfectly. And the extensions made ALL the difference. I knew she had my back from the beginning when she warned me before the trial. And when I tell you my hair was PERFECT the day of the wedding I mean it. Even better than what I was expecting. My husband and family wouldn’t stop talking about my hair all night and how great it looked. And the makeup!!! Ugh!! If you’re hesitant on doing the trial or spending the extra money in the end it’s all worth it. If I didn’t do either of this things, I would have regretted it and the fact that she was honest but at the same time so kind and personal made me trust her even more through the whole process. She knows what she is doing and she just wants to make you feel beautiful and that’s exactly what she did. All my bridesmaids loved her and I would 100% recommend brides and beauty💕💕

Mandy is AMAZING! She’s super friendly and a great listener to all of your needs! I was happy with my trial - I felt confident about the quality of makeup lasting throughout the day and felt beautiful while still natural. On the day of the wedding, some of her team were unavailable due to COVID but Mandy went above and beyond to make sure there were no delays in our schedule and everyone was done on time. She took the time to re-review what we talked about during the trial to confirm what I was wanting. She was also incredible working with my mom who was super anxious about her hair and makeup and spent extra time making sure she felt beautiful on our big day! Thank you!!

My makeup artist cancelled on my last minutes, and I couldn't find anyone that was available until I posted on Facebook, they were highly recommended by several of my friends! Mandy was so professional and extremely kind to me during my time of a highly stressful situation!!! September is a busy month for weddings NO DOUBT.... I couldn't find anyone and all the vendors I did contact never responded!!! I messaged Mandy and I received a message back right away from her willing to help in any way!!! Mandy handled my emotions with such care and assured me everything will be perfect!! Mandy sent her team of artist, Shannon & Ashley and WOW I can't say enough how amazing my makeup and my bridal party's makeup turned out SO beautiful and flawless!!! It was great working with Mandy! During the trial she took the time to get to know me and ask lots of questions about the style of our wedding. I appreciated that she came on site to provide hair and makeup services, helped me and my friends and family relax as we got ready for the wedding, and even talked me through a small issue with another vendor. She was on time and very professional. Our hair and makeup looked great and lasted all night.

Working with Mandy was a great experience! She was professional and had great communication. She was attentive to my needs, as well as the needs of my bridal party. She really knows what she's doing and is an expert in her field! I can't tell you how many compliments I received on my makeup the day of my wedding. My hair and makeup lasted all day long in 85 degree weather. If you are having any doubts, hire Brides & Beauty, it'll be good for your cheekbones!

Carrie was my amazing makeup and hair artist for my wedding! She is so sweet, fun and professional. I had a great trial with her and she made my vision come to life and was open to suggestions. On the day of she brought assistant Cassandra to help her. They both arrived early and ready to start. They worked hard and efficiently. The girls and I LOVED our make up and hair! It lasted all day and night. They even helped girls branch out of their comfort zone with makeup and the girls were so glad they did. We love Carrie and Cassandra! Mandy the owner is also great to work with and flexible. I can't recommend Brides & Beauty enough!

Mandy worked with me constantly as I kept having to reschedule the wedding for Covid, and was super helpful in making sure my new dates still worked. She ended up needing to quarantine during my wedding weekend, but immediately had a new stylist to take her place with no difficulties. The hair and makeup turned out wonderful, all of my bridesmaids raves about it.

I chose Brides & Beauty to do the hair/makeup for myself (bride) and all of my bridesmaids for my wedding last month. Mandy and Carrie were the artists that day and did an AMAZING job. Brides & Beauty was a pleasure to work with for our pandemic wedding! We made several last minute changes to our June wedding due to COVID-19, but the team and Brides & Beauty still made sure our day was special. Jill did make up for me, my mom, my mother-in law, sister-in law, and maid of honor. She has a great touch and gave us all beautiful make up that looked both natural in person and popped on camera. Ashly did our hair and was so speedy that we could barely keep her chair full! She had great design with her styling and everyone's hair lasted all day! The hair and makeup artists did a fantastic job. Jill did my trial and my day-of hair and makeup and she did just outstanding, elegant work. She listened to me and made adjustments based on my taste and day-of whims, and I couldn't be more grateful. My bridesmaids, friends, and mother/mother-in-law who got hair and makeup done were similarly thrilled with their results. 90% of the experience with planning and booking was professional and wonderful. However, there was a small snag. I had to add an additional hair appointment a couple of weeks before the wedding - this would require both stylists to come at the same time in the morning, rather than one coming about an hour later than the other. Unfortunately, this change wasn't communicated to the stylist. That is not the stylist's fault at all, and both stylists did a fantastic job catching up and keeping us (nearly) on schedule. I appreciate everything they did for us on such a special day!

Mandy and Karri did hair and make-up for myself, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 moms with and add on of a grandmother and the groom. I did my trial run with Mandy and loved everything. The hair was PERFECT and the make-up was FLAWLESS. More importantly, as someone who doesn't wear make-up very often, I didn't feel like a clown in the make-up. Fast forward to day of...Mandy and Karri arrived promptly and got to work. These ladies were WONDERFUL to work with and we had such a great time with them. Karri finished a bit early and was actually able to do make-up for my grandmother too who wanted to get in on the fun! Mandy did an amazing job n both my hair and make-up and made me feel ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS on my wedding day. Not a curl was out of place by the end of the night, either-and there was a lot of dancing. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Mandy was a LIFESAVER. The groom suffered a fairly severe acne breakout a few days before the wedding and was feeling incredibly self-conscious and depressed. I asked her is she could hold on my make-up and maybe see if she could do make-up for him before the photographer showed up. She came to the rescue and was able to add in groom's make-up services as well while still getting my make-up done in time! He felt so relieved and visibly more relaxed after that. Of all the wonderful magic she worked that day, this meant the most to me. She made the time to make the most important person in my life feel more comfortable and relaxed on our wedding day. Jill was the best! I wanted a bold lip and old Hollywood look and wow did she deliver! All night everyone was complimenting my makeup and look and ghat was completely due to Jill! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I, like any other girl, gets nervous at the thought of someone else doing my make up, but this company truly nailed it. Karri did my hair and make up for my wedding and I don’t know if I’ve ever felt more pretty in my life. She is so talented! I got so many compliments including MANY from my now husband. It made everything even more special for me. She also did my moms make up (who is a very simple woman) and She looked so beautiful and she was so happy with the results.. Misty, Ashley, Karri worked together for my bridal party of 8 plus my mom in a timely manner and everyone looked amazing. They were also very friendly and fun to be around. I HIGHLY recommend this company and if I’m ever in a wedding from here on out I would book these guys again without question.

I decided not to book them after 2 separate instances of them not getting back to me for over 2 weeks until I had to send a follow up email. I'm not willing to risk my hair and make up crew on a team that can't communicate well, and that doesn't prioritize me and my business.

Mandy and Misty did hair and makeup for myself, my 3 bridesmaids and both mothers. She made everyone look beautiful for amazing pictures to cherish forever. Very easy to work with and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
