Where to start? Last weekend my maid of honor and I went wedding dress shopping. I went to a shop on Saturday and found a dress I was “happy” with. I had an appointment at Brides of America on Sunday, they had a dress I had been looking at for over 5 months, so of course I wanted to try it on. On Sunday, when we arrived, David greeted us with coffee (excellent by the way). He asked several questions, previous dresses, what I was looking for, venue etc. He told me “I will find you the dress that will be just as beautiful as you on your wedding day”. As soon as we walked through the doors, he had this energy about him. The type of energy and love a family member would have for you. However, I did come to find out he did not have THE dress I came in to try. I kept an open mind and let him pull dress that he thought were good for me. Several dresses in, and nothing, and then he pulls out the last dress. He stated that it was a truck show dress, and he should have mailed it back on Friday, but didn’t for some reason, I am that reason, that dress was MY DRESS. I fell in love with it. David is a magic maker. If you are looking for your dream dress, you must come to Brides of America, David WILL make it happen, trust me…… Thank you David………!!!!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend going to Brides of America for your wedding dress, bridesmaids and mother of the bride shopping. Not only is the selection amazing - the dresses are gorgeous and the highest quality, and there’s a lot of variety of styles- but David, the owner, is PHENOMENAL. He is an expert in fashion and bridal design, and he takes the time to really listen to what you want and like. He has a complete understanding for your body and what looks great on you, which makes him the ultimate partner in what’s typically such a stressful/ambiguous experience. I honestly had the best experience here and 10/10 recommend.

a. David at Brides of America was absolutely amazing! This was our last store out of three and it was the perfect ending to a wedding dress shopping day! David took a few minutes to sit down with me and my friends and family to see what dresses I had already tried on earlier in the day at other stores. He went over his experience in the industry and how the wedding dress shopping process would go at his store. He only takes one appointment at a time so you really get individualized attention. He got to know me and my preferences which helped him quickly select dresses that would look good on me and fit my preferences. He takes a very personalized approach and sometimes knows what you like or do not like before you even do. He made sure to stick within my budget and asked me if I wanted to try a dress outside of my budget. I said I did not and he did not pressure me or make me feel bad for turning down anything. I found my dream dress at Brides of America which brought tears to my eyes when I saw it on. David did not pressure me to decide and allowed me time to really make sure it is what I wanted. He also sold me a beautiful veil for a great price since I bought the dress from his store. When I went back to pick up my dress, he greeted me and my parents with coffee and again allowed me to try on the dress and make sure everything was good. He was patient as I tried on several pieces of jewelry with the dress and even gave me his opinion on what jewelry I should use and how I should style my hair! I am glad I went with his suggestions all around! I used the seamstress he has in house who also did great work. I highly recommend Brides of America and David!

First of all David is the most amazing person you will ever meet! I literally had the BEST experience you could possibly have! David knows exactly what you want and need in a dress! We picked a few dresses and he picked one for me the one he picked was absolutely gorgeous and was the ONE! I highly recommend any bride looking for a gown to go see David! I've been shopping for wedding dresses multiple stores in 3 states and by far I had the BEST experience at this store. David is absolutely amazing. He really got to know my preferences and style from the start, so much so that when I showed him pictures of dresses I've tried on at other stores, he could already tell which ones I liked and didn't like after just a few minutes of conversation. I had his undivided attention at my appointment and LOVED that he gave his honest opinions on everything (which I wanted). He says he would not sell a dress to a bride if she didn't love it and he'd need to see it in her reaction. I didn't end up buying a dress here, but David was happy and excited to recommended other stores to me that he knew would have options in the style I was going for. Loved it here and would highly recommend!! David is the best!

First of all…David was amazing. This was such a sweet and beautiful experience! I found a dress I was in love with!

David is nothing short of amazing! From the minute I entered the salon I knew I made the right choice. You and your guests are the only ones in the store making it a private and intimate experience. It is literally all about you! After chatting with David about the wedding and my style he selected dresses for me to try on all of which were fabulous. I truly felt like a VIP and found the wedding dress of my dreams! Highly highly recommend a visit to Brides of America!

From the start of the appointment to the end David was beyond helpful and honest. I came to the appt with a difficult request of no lace, but I’ll try one, with no preference on silhouette. David pulled the most beautiful dress second but wanted me to try on as much as i needed to to be sure. He then gave my shopping partners and myself privacy to decide and i ended up leaving with the most perfect dress i had ever laid eyes on. The bridal salon is yours only, and when you step into the back it’s like you are in a bridal dress world. David explains his experience (which he has a lifetime of) and asks about the bride and details of the wedding, dress etc. It is a whole experience. Highly recommend.

Ok, I found my dress 2/14.. yes I know my review is a bit late but there was absolutely no way I was not going to write a review for this amazing place! I had been to two other shops to try on multiple dresses. The first one I felt pressured and I had anxiety and stress because "what if" the dress I liked the most was gone....like they said. The second shop I tried a few dresses but the person who owned the shop didn't have suggestions or really any input, it kind of seemed like they didn't care. The dresses I tried on were nice but weren't THE DRESS. As mentioned in another review, I saw dresses I liked parts of but not everything. Now to my experience with David! I don't remember how I found the shop but I am so thankful I did. I looked at the website and sent a few dresses I liked, David called me almost right away and helped me set up an appointment and told me the prices of the dresses and if they were available. I went to the shop with my mom as the other people I invited weren't able to make it. The first thing David did was sit me down and he explained his background and his experience. He then and asked me the colors of my wedding, the venue, what the bridal party was wearing. And lastly he wanted me to show him ALL the pictures of any dresses I tried on and to tell him my favorites. He proceeded to pull dresses for me and put them in the fitting room. My mom helped me put them on. The first dress he pulled for me was actually one I had asked about and he said that he thought it would look amazing one me.... Sure enough I tried it on and wow! it's the most beautiful dress I'd seen. It topped any of my old "top dresses" from the other shops. David asked for my moms and I's opinions and gave his. He asked me if I wanted to try more and I said yes why not. I tried a couple, that were amazing but not quite as amazing as the first one. Towards the end David asked my mom and I to go look at all the dresses and pull any I wanted to try on. He kept saying you will know when it's the one, it's a feeling and no one can tell you how to feel. At the end he asked what I liked the most and if I wanted to try it on one more time. The dress was the first one! I put it on again, david put a veil on me and said I'm going to leave the two of you alone. If it's the dress for you it is, if it's not then it's not. It's as simple as that. No pressure at all! When my mom and I were alone it was like magic happened, I looked at myself in the mirror imagined my fiance standing at the end of the aisle, seeing me in this beautiful dress and then looked back at my mom. I couldn't hold the tears, I said this is the one. To which she then started crying as well. It was so special because it was just the two of us. We hugged then called David! I got my measurements done right away, and David took pictures of the two of us. To this day I have NO dress regrets and can't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day. David, thank you for being so attentive, kind, and amazing! My mom also says thank you!!!

Brides of America had so easily been the best part of my wedding planning experience. Finding a dress is probably the most personal and emotional choice of the entire wedding. At Brides of America, David understood exactly what I wanted, made me feel confident in my choice, and found me the most stunning gown that I was so beyond excited to wear on my day. He never made me feel pressured, was so patient and kind. So happy to have said yes to the dress there and cannot thank David enough for such an incredible experience!

After searching relentlessly for a wedding dress, David helped me find my dream wedding dress. He made my experience 1000x more special and I'm so content I bought from Brides of America. All I can say is, David was the best!! From the time I walked in to the time I walked out he made the experience one to remember. He was very professional, thorough, he listened to me, and found the perfect dress for me. I had been to countless stores looking for the perfect dress and found a few really nice ones. But when I walked into Brides of America and David began to talk and share his passion, I knew I was in the right place. If you are looking for a one of kind dress please go see David. You will not be disappointed. And let’s not forget about the prices which were unbelievable. I just knew I would be paying thousands for the kind of dress I was looking for, but that was not the case at all. I’m happy to have been able to say yes to the dress!!

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had such an amazing appointment with David, I had to leave one! He is attentive, honest and so passionate. He was so committed to the dress finding process - he put a whole lot of clips to have me see the fit of one dress! We had a good laugh about it, but it really shows his drive. I had such a fun time with him and highly recommend him to all brides! Thank you so much for your help David!!

Long story short: I would and have recommended David and Brides of America to anyone and everyone, including my sister, who also bought her dress here. Long story: I bought my dress in August of 2019 for my June 2020 wedding. David asked questions about myself and my fiance, the wedding, and brought out a selection of beautiful dresses, including the one he said I was going to pick. He was right, and I was so excited to wear it. My sister came with me and said right then that she wasn't going to go anywhere else when it was time for her dress appointment (she did not go anywhere else, because David also worked his magic on her and found her a perfect dress). Fast forward to April of 2020. COVID being COVID, we had to postpone the wedding until April of 2021. David understood, helped talk me down off the ledge when I became emotional while on the phone with him, and offered to keep the dress in storage until the date. Fast forward to January of 2021. My fiance's entire side of the family is out of town, and with COVID still being COVID, don't feel comfortable traveling, and so our wedding is now postponed until 2022. When I called David, he didn't bat an eye, but again offered to keep the dress in storage until I can finally put it on again. I can speak from firsthand experience that he is kind, knowledgeable, professional, and a wizard at his job. I can also speak from secondhand experience (going with my sister to pick up her wedding dress) that the tailoring services provided at Brides of America are top notch. 1,000% recommend!

David’s store was the best bridal store I have ever been to. He is truly passionate about what he does, genuinely cares about the customer finding the dress they absolutely love, and also makes you feel very comfortable. David tried to understand my likes and dislikes by asking to see pictures of the dresses I had tried previously, and was able to select some amazing dresses for me to try. Even though I didn’t end up finding my dream dress here, I would highly recommend David to all brides!

I will not recommend any other bridal salon to any of my friends! David is incredible! Both my sister and I bought our dresses from Brides of America and they are both equally stunning. David is hilarious to talk to and he knows exactly what you need just by looking at you! I told him "lace, sparkle, and romantic" and he said "I know just the one!". He is so caring and generous too. He gave me a free mask to wear that he designed to match my wedding dress so that I could feel beautiful and safe all night long.

I can't express my gratitude to David. He took his time to talk with us about the history and experience he has. Took his time to understand my vision. I had such a wonderful experience picking out my wedding dress! David was absolutely amazing. Before he showed me any dresses he took a moment to get to know me as a person to see what sort of dress suited my personality best. As he started saying the type of dress he visualized me in it all resonated with everything I was looking for! I showed him a couple pictures of what I liked and he said he already had the dress for me. He didn’t tell me which one it was but gave me a couple dresses to try on. The amount of detail from David was so so so amazing he couldn’t have made our decision making easier when it came to finding dresses for my bridesmaids. Let me tell you he made me feel so comfortable and secure with my decision and we left with a smile on our faces and excitement for the big day. He walked through different styles, colors, and materials with me. I just want to rave about my experience with David @ Brides of America. I ended up (much to my surprise) choosing a dress by a different designer in the end, but he was so helpful and the Morilee collection is just spectacular (and reasonably priced). I loved the fact he gave us time to chat alone about each dress and then gave us some time at the end. We never felt pressured and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The service here is awesome David and his assistance know their job. I got to try on the dresses I had on my list and also the once David choose. They give you ideas and truthful opinion. I live in Curaçao and Brides of America was my 3rd and last bridal salon appointment on my journey to find my dress in the US. And like they say: 3 is a charm. I said YES TO THE DRESS to a gorgeous dress that I really LOVE. And the price was awesome and in my budget which was really important for me. I cannot wait to see the dress finished and wear it. Starting with the fact that David is passionate and makes himself beyond accessible despite the fact that he’s busy, he takes his time to know you and really understand you and your needs. David has such a beautiful personality and truly makes you feel like his friend. There is not a single complaint about Brides of America. 6. David and Ms. Aurora are so wonderful! When I bought my dress, I showed David about 100 photos because I liked different details of each dress. David took the time to look at all of the photos and pulled dresses he felt fit my taste. The dress we chose was absolutely beautiful; he helps you look and feel like a bride and Ms. Aurora who does alterations is the cherry on top. They also helped me pick a fabulous mother of the bride dress for my mom. It was elegant and gorgeous! She received so many compliments and I was so happy that she felt beautiful and comfortable in her dress. I recommended this bridal salon to all of my engaged friends and they all got their dresses from here too. Brides of America Miami is the best!

David was the absolute best, this was the first store I tried on dresses and was the last store. I gave David an image of my dream style and he made a dress I was not that all into my dream come true, by slouching the straps and adding an over skirt. Morilee gowns are a steal for the quality and modern designs!

Years ago my sister purchased her dress with Brides of America and years later I decided to follow the tradition and purchase my wedding gown with owner, David. Very professional and warm David was the best as always. My gown was everything and I plan to store it in a shadow box for as long as I can.

His store is very cozy and organized, he helped me choose two dresses within my budget, one of the dresses I found online. Despite not recommending to order a dress that I haven't tried on he respected my wishes and helped me with the sizing, he's an expert with Mori Lee dresses which is my favorite designer. I will be going back in October to pick up my dresses and I can't wait!

A couple of weeks ago my sister encouraged me to make a dress appointment “just to look”. My full intentions were to look around trying on different dresses, styles, and come in with an open mind. 5 start are not nearly enough to show how happy I'm with Brides of America. David is by far one of the best in the business. Not only does he makes you fell like the most important client he's had, but he is also extremely knowledgeable in area. I felt in love with my dress back in February of this year and I'm still in love with my dress. I am now counting the day to be able to wear it for our big day! I also want to add than when looking for my two maids of honor's dresses, I originally was going to get them at a generic bridal store, but nothing compares with the service I received at Brides of America. I contacted David and told him the idea I had, and he did not only allowed me to go in after the store had closed, but also had the dresses we had talked about lined up and ready to try them on. I was able to make a decision in less than 15 minutes. David's commitment to his clients and excellent customer service is what separates him and his store from the rest. I'm one that loves to read reviews before buying anything let alone my wedding dress. This being said, I must admit I was a little skeptical when I saw the amount of great reviews this store had. What a great experience! David is the best! I think I gave him a really hard time but he never gave up on me. And even after leaving without a dress and then changing my mind at the last minute he still worked with me and gave me everything I wanted! While waiting I chatted with his mom about my fiancé’s tuxedo and the groomsmen so I’ll definitely be back for that! Every bride should experience David’s greatness! Thank you so much David!

David is absolutely amazing! I had no idea what style or cut of dress I wanted but I did have tons of pictures on my phone. David sat with me and allowed me to show him the parts of each dress that I had saved (about 100 pictures!) and pulled seven dresses for me to try on. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything but I ended up finding the most perfect dress that had all the elements that I wanted. I got the dress, veil and headpiece all under my budget! David truly knows his work and his dresses and makes the experience one you will never forget!

I went to so many bridal shops with no luck before I went to brides of America. David is nothing short of amazing. He takes some time to talk to you before you start trying on dresses and he knows his stuff. He made me feel so comfortable and made the experience so fun. I went to brides of America and worked with Jackie! Within 15 minutes of being there she picked out a dress and I was in love! I don't know how she does it, but she is awesome! The dress selection was great and the service was excellent. I said yes to the dress and couldn't be happier!

I loved this salon. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Jackie helped me pick the perfect gown, David helped me change the size of the gown a few months later, and the alterations were spectacular. The amazing seamstress basically had to take in the dress from everywhere and it still looks beautiful. I really cannot say enough good things about this place! Highly recommend!!

Amazing gowns, great prices, David treated me like family and Aurora made sure my dress was perfect with all her wonderful alterations. Got all the bridesmaid and flower girl dresses there and all my girls looked wonderful. Loved this store and everything it offered to us. Very happy, will do it all over again!!! Jackie was great too. They have been in the business for quite a while and clearly know what they are doing.

I honestly could not have been HAPPIER! I called Jackie the day before to make an appointment and to get advice on what kind of dress I should wear based on my body type. JACKIE WAS A DOLL FROM THE BEGINNING! She was able to make an appointment for me the next day and I was able to choose the dress of my dreams!! I first came in with pictures of what I wanted, but once I put it on I didn't like how they looked on me. I then tried on the dress that Jackie picked out and I knew that THAT DRESS......WAS THE DRESS! Not only are the dresses amazing....the costumer service was out of this world! I recommend this place 100%! Jackie is very honest and you will feel as if you are amongst family! Not only did I get my dress I also go my veil! From the moment I walked in I knew I did not have to look any further. David took the time to get to know my mother and I. He genuinely loves what he does and it showed. David hand picked dresses for me based on my style and specific tastes. The first dress I tried on ended up being the "one". I recommend coming to Brides of America and finding your "perfect" dress.

What an amazing experience!! Jackie is seriously an ANGEL. I had been to a few other bridal shops and none can compare to the experience I had at Brides of America. Jackie knows what she's doing and loves what she does. Jackie had me try on a dress that I wouldn't have picked myself. It was the one and only dress I tried on there and the dress I said yes to! Within 10 minutes Jackie found my PERFECT wedding dress! There was not a dry eye in the building and I couldn't thank Jackie enough. I went in stressed thinking I was going to have a hard time getting a dress in time for my wedding in 6 months. Jackie works miracles!! Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Sylvana helped me get in and out of dress and with the vail. She is the sweetest. Also I was floored by the price of the dress and veil, totally affordable. I couldn't be happier and I can't wait for my fiancé to see me in my dress!! Thank you soooooooo much David, Jackie and Sylvana!!!

My sisters and I found the bridesmaid dresses that we wanted for our wedding at Brides of America. So, we trekked across state to check them out and it was certainly worth the trip. The staff there was super welcoming and helpful. We were able to find and order the dresses that we needed. Unfortunately, we did run into a bit of a snafu as there was an error in the recording on measurements for one of the bridesmaids (the dress was too small). However, David and his team worked diligently to make it right in time for the wedding. I couldn't be more appreciative. Thank you!

I loved the dress! David was just amazing.

The positives: my dress came out beautiful and I received a ton of compliments. The negatives: customer service is lacking. Bring a translator to your fittings if you don't speak Spanish since you will be left alone with a dressmaker who doesn't speak English. After some scheduling confusion, the owner offered us a refund on alterations via a check which was never issued.

REFUSED TO GIVE POLICY IN WRITING... I'm an out of state Maid of Honor, trying to make things clear, simple and to the point for my beautiful friend getting married. Because I'm in California, I called to get a full detailed contract and/or policy of alterations, shipping, individual contract vs. group contract, cancellations, dates, etc. to properly communicate with other out of town bridal party, and local. (The bridal party had their first fitting just 48hrs ago at his boutique 2/28/16) However, the owner, David, I believe is his name, REFUSED to provide me with any policy in writing. When I requested he email or fax all policies and procedures, his response was, "I don't know how, ask the bride." (People, I am not kidding.) I proceeded to explain she is busy and it's my responsibility to take care of it, he then suggested I contact the matron of honor, because he ONLY provides a contract/policy ONLY WHEN YOU PURCHASE. (Again...not kidding.) Shocked by the absurd statement, I asked how could you NOT provide people with POLICY via email or fax; yet, he continued to create verbal policy of: No refunds, no cancellations, all sales final... instead of specific written policy... which we all know verbal means nothing.. Bottom line, he refused to provide me with any policy, and said because I "don't trust him and hurt his feelings" by asking so many questions, he had to go...and he literally hung the phone up in my face...(Yes, He Hung Up in MY face) I will have to call one more time to straighten this out or really convince my friend to find business elsewhere...this guy seems like a big phony and he is very unprofessional. ( I know she's busy and I don't want to stress her, but this man is bad business, anyone that is NOT willing to provide policy, can not be trusted.)

GREAT EXPERIENCE! THEY HELP ME FIND THE DRESS OF MY DREAMS! This was about the 4th or 5th bridal gown store I visited & by far the best and last one! I happily purchased my wedding dress by the end of my appointment. David is amazing & great at what he does! After sitting down with me and getting to know me better he chose all the right styles off the rack. David makes sure not only that you leave with a beautiful gown that suits your style and body but he also has the best prices! The customer service here is exceptional. David is honest, friendly and funny and he makes the bridal gown process enjoyable and stress free. I highly recommend any bride looking for a bridal gown to make an appointment with Brides of America.

This was not my first experience with Brides of America. I was a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding and we purchased the bridesmaid dresses from David. Needless to say, that first experience was so amazing, I went back when it was my turn. This time for the whole 9 yards (of fabric...get it?...lol). This was the first salon I went to for wedding gowns, and David pegged my gown first try! I don't know how he does it but that man is a genius! I tried on a few other dresses, but there was no denying it. The first dress he pulled was it! I went back for the bridesmaid dresses which, again, turned out to be exactly what I wanted even if it wasn't my original idea (in hindsight my original idea would be have awful, so glad we went a different route). They flattered all SIX of my girls of all different body types and they all loved them! I also wanted a cage veil but he doesn't sell them. Once my dress came in and I went in for my first fitting, I tried on a veil just to get an idea of what the completed look would be. Do I even need to say it at this point? The first veil I tried on ended up erasing any memory of the thought of a cage veil and I had a beautiful veil that complimented my dress perfectly! David is such a wonderful person and his passion for his job shines through every dress and accessory he touches. I wish I could get married over and over again just to have the Brides of America experience over and over again. There is no other like it!

I had a great experience! After several dress stores, I found the dress I wanted and they were able to customize the fit and color to my exact liking. I had a truly unique dress and wonderful memories with my family during my fitting. Thank you!

I went for my dress consultation this last weekend with my family and out of all the bridal salons that i could have gone to i am so thankful i was able to go to Brides of America. From the minute my consultation began i felt like i was with family. David was amazing! He was sweet, funny and totally got me. He was honest about what wasn't flattering and gave me hope in finding the perfect dress. At the end of my visit i left with the most beautiful Mori Lee dress and an experience of a lifetime. The customer service was outstanding and he truly is a beautiful person. So glad to have said "yes to the dress" at Brides of America!

With a crazy wedding party of 8 plus mother and bride I can tell you it wasn't easy to find different style dresses but same fabric and color, only David from Brides of America did it!! You wont regret it, the most unique beautiful wedding gowns out there, Morilee is outstanding mixing vintage, classy, elegant and modern with a hint of modest, not one person at the 160 guests wedding has ever seen a dress so Beautiful and unique like the ones from this store, and this coming from guests that have been to 5 weddings this year alone. Thank you David for your attention to detail, professional, kind and patient personality, you helped, answered questions, either phone, email or in person, the best and only place which for sure when its my turn I will be going to you! The best looking bridesmaids court, best mother of the bride dress, she looked like a red carpet gala event. Oh and the day we tried on the dresses, David kept the shop open until after hours for us, he made us feel so special and listened to the bride and most importantly he put you in dresses he knows you will look good in, he would never pressure you to buy something you don't like. Simply the best!

I went to several bridal salons to try on wedding dresses and I have to say that my experience at Brides of America was the best. The customer services here is outstanding. David has a great selection of dresses and he makes sure you have a great experience. He does not make you feel you are any other bride. He is very passionate about his business. Loved loved loved this bridal salon!!!! David was so professional and gave me and my bridesmaids such great service. He made us feel so welcomed and at home. The dresses there are such good quality and affordable that you won't want to go anywhere else after. He gives his full attention to one customer at a time, meaning the whole salon is all yours for the time that you are there to look for a dress. I could tell that he really loves what he does and doesn't just do it for the money but because he truly wants to put a smile on your face. I'm recommending this place to every bride-to-be that I know!! Loved it!!!

There was some miscommunication during the process, but I got my dress in time so all is well with the world. David seems to genuinely love his work and he doesn't try and talk you into buying a dress if you don't love it.
