I at first had a wonderful experience with this vendor.
Then when I wanted to return, one of the trusted employees I adored was no longer there. Fine. When inquired further, I had to wait several days for a response, then when i followed ul with my own inquiry, they finally responded wanted me to rush in for service.
I wrote an online review explaining how I felt, they responded with a " we dont know her." As if I am incorrect.
How unprofessional. This is so distasteful.
I have not been treated correctly.
Please do not trust!!!!! This behavior clearly can occur anytime and its the last thing you need before or after your wedding with your sentimental items. What if they become spiteful and lose your gown?! I cannot even imagine.
You would think with all the money they ask of you to clean you would be respected as a human being.

My wedding gown returned mostly clean, except for a few makeup stains. The manager reached out afterward, and was able to provide a partial refund. I appreciate that they were so quick and helpful with rectifying the mistake.

I got married in the rain and the bottom of my dress was covered in mud by the end of the night. I wasn’t optimistic it could be cleaned but Bridgestone made it look good as new!

Bridgestone cleaned and beautifully preserved a custom silk 18th-century period gown that I had made for a big costume party. The party was a bit wild so the dress got pretty dingy at the hem and Bridgestone made it as good as new again!
On another note I can very strongly recommend their tailor Pablo. He ALWYAS finds a way to figure out even the weirdest repairs and adjustments for me. I love him!

Pablo is an extremely talented tailor, and is generally lovely to deal with. I had a very complex job for him, a floor length sleeved sequin dress that had to be tailored by hand and he did an absolutely beautiful job. He also squeezed me in for a last minute hem to another dress that I need in a few days time. Truly would recommend him to anyone I know. He has raw talent, an amazing eye and I feel very lucky to have found him! Will recommend to all my friends.

I can’t tell you how Ola and the team have helped decrease my wedding stress. Their professionalism, expertise, and expediency are just top-notch – there’s a reason why they are the best around.
I sent an inquiry on the Bridgestone Cleaners website because I had a new - but vintage - wedding dress. I asked if they could clean it and how much time it would take because I had to get it altered first. Ola CALLED me immediately and said not only could they clean the dress, they could alter it too! He was also friendly and courteous and made me feel comfortable trusting them with this very important garment. As brides know, deciding where to get your wedding dress altered can be a stressful (and expensive) decision, but I read the reviews and was impressed by all the feedback.
Finally, I got to the DUMBO location and can confirm that the reviews were accurate. The venue is clean, the staff was helpful, and Pablo, the tailor, is A MAGICIAN! Not only did he finish my dress alteration sooner than expected, but he also got it to fit me perfectly on the FIRST TRY. I thought there’d be a least two fittings. Nope, just one and done. Also, the dress was cleaned beautifully, and it looks good as new!
Another impressive thing about Bridgestone Cleaners is the communication. They regularly send you a text with the links to payment, online tracking, or overall updates. It made me feel at ease and taken care of – and isn’t that the type of support we need from vendors during wedding season? I am now waiting for my dress to be delivered to my residence (they do that too!), and I can’t wait to work with them again to preserve the dress after the wedding in October or to just stop by there for regular tailoring or cleaning services. After a fantastic wedding day, I was looking for a reputable business to clean my Monique L'huillier designer wedding gown. I was nervous about the state of the dress due to the rain on the day and the stains I had acquired. Stains included dirt and water marks all along the bottom of the dress/train from dragging on the rainy New York streets, accidental pasta stains from dinner, what seemed to be bird stains (lol) from the steps of the NYPL, and movement in and out of vehicles.
I researched online and came across Bridgestone Cleaners, conveniently located in DUMBO, Brooklyn. I was impressed with their reviews and how high the business was ranked. I called to inquire about cleaning services and was introduced to Ola, the Gown Preservation specialist. From the minute I inquired, Ola was prompt with his responses, professional, helpful, and courteous. I knew that my dress was in great hands and decided to proceed.
Fast forward to after the cleaning and...WOW! Like a whole new dress! I couldn't believe my eyes. No dirt. No stains AT ALL. Just a pristine wedding gown!
Since I had decided to go ahead with preservation as well, I wanted to see the dress before they boxed it up. Ola took care in presenting my dress and putting my mind at ease. Let me just say, I am one HAPPY BRIDE. I truly thought I had damaged my dress forever, but rest assured with Bridgestone Cleaners' 40 years in the business, you are in wonderful hands! They will take ultra care with your precious garment.

I didn’t have my dress cleaned after my wedding, so I finally brought it to Bridgestone after six years. I was amazed at how clean the dress was after so much time. Wow - Bridgestone was fantastic! My wedding dress was FILTHY, and I waited nearly half a year to get it cleaned, but Bridgestone worked their magic and the dress looks brand new! The wedding planning process is stressful, and reliable and amazing vendors can be hard to come by. Bridgestone Cleaners helped eliminate a HUGE stress with my wedding dress! I got it at a Kleinfeld sample sale and needed it cleaned and bustled. Ola and the rest of the staff were super helpful and attentive and made me feel at ease leaving my dress with them. They even delivered it for me when cleaning and alterations were done! I can’t recommend them enough. If you are a New York City bride, look no further than here for any of your dress needs!

All I can say is wow! Thank you Bridgestone Cleaners. I called in a panic after realizing the sample sale dress I bought looked very different outside the fitting room… as in it looked like someone had gotten a spray tan and then rolled around in my dress. Bridgestone picked up the dress from my house, had a fantastic online tracking system, communicated with me every step of the way, was extremely transparent about pricing, and then dropped off a beautifully cleaned dress back at my apartment. What a relief.
It felt like they actually cared about my dress and experience, and not that it was just another garment to clean. I’ll also be using them for alterations since their process is so easy and affordable

Bridgestone did an amazing job at restoring and cleaning my wedding dress, since I purchased it sample sale. It looked brand new and was ready to wear for my wedding day. They also provided alterations for my reception dress. They have great customer service with the client in mind.

Bridgestone Cleaners was so great. Throughout the entire process they were understanding, professional, and communicative. Everyone I talked to was extremely warm and understanding. They updated me on how the cleaning and preservation was going and alerted me to anything in particular they were cleaning up. When it was all finished, they even delivered my huge dress back to me!
The preservation looks great and I highly recommend Ola and team.

What a great place. We were married at the start of 2020 before the world shut down - but they time I was able to go and have my husbands suit and my dress cleaned - let's say they sat around for a long time.
But Ola - was wonderful - my dress was cleaned and preserved - and my husbands suit was well maintained.

The Bridgestone Cleaners team was very professional through the entire wedding gown preservation process. They left no stone unturned when it came to finding spots on my dress that could have yellowed and deteriorated given more time, and spots that could have been easily overlooked if not put in the care of the right professionals.
