Every guest raved about how delicious it was, and we couldn’t agree more. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail. We felt so supported and completely stress-free. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly—it was the perfect place to celebrate our day!

er the wedding and everything was wonderful! Cathi made entire planning process so streamlined and as easy as it could be! I sent her many, many questions during planning and she always answered them quickly and in detail. They made the wedding day run so smoothly and clearly communicated with me. The food was OUTSTANDING! I might be biased, because it was my wedding, but since the wedding I've had multiple people tell us how delicious the food was. I gave the rooms 4 starts, because one of our family members rooms AC didn't work, but otherwise we all really enjoyed the Inn. The rooms are beautiful! Thank you Cathi and staff for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it to be!

ressed (engaged Feb 23 and wedding Aug 2) but the staff at Cameron so enthusiastic and they did not try to charge us more, give up on any aspect, or discourage us in any way. We appreciated the clarity of the documentation (contract, packages and menu options, payment plan and statements, etc.) and due dates. Our menu tasting experience with Deb was out of this world! She treated us like royalty while at the same time making us feel at home. As the banquet manager at our reception, she again did a phenomenal job of keeping the meal moving and making each and every one of our guests feel important. Cathi walked us through our planning session in the most collaborative way; we truly felt heard. Our ideas, inspirations, and requests were all entertained, and if anything was not possible, the reason was explained thoroughly and respectfully. The appearance and presentation of the ballroom for the reception was wonderful - we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful environment. There were only two hiccups, and they were related to the day of activities. Our vendors had difficulty connecting with our DOC to get where they needed to go. Each waited in the lobby for her but ended up being directed by one of the bridesmaids to the changing suites and to the ballroom. Our ceremony was offsite at a church, so the vendor timeline was tight; wait time was built in to the overall timeline, but the waits were longer than that cushion. The other hiccup caused a little bit of chaos and frustration for the guests. Our (communicated and approved) plan was to have the guests' place cards set out at the cocktail hour. They were to have assigned tables but not assigned seats at the tables. The day before the wedding we discovered that one of our guests - the "adult child" of a relative - was under 21. Our DOC told us not to worry, as long as we had her marked as U21 on her place card, our plan could proceed as usual, and the champagne at her setting would be removed, or the table would be set with champagne after seating. Instead, all the place cards were set out on the tables. There was no way for the CEI staff to know who was related to whom, so the placement was randomized at the tables. As a result, no one knew what table they needed to look for, nor who they might be assigned to sit next to when they did find their names. Had we known when we asked how to fix the U21 guest situation that we needed to create a seating chart, we would have done so (knowing that particular piece of the snafu was our own) and made it work for our guests. At the very least, we could have provided the place cards in a table order so they could be set with spouses together, but the cards were in alphabetical order, per our originally agreed upon set up. The only suggestion I would make, though, is to take a clock for the dressing suites. There were no clocks in either suite, and also bridesmaids sat on the floor to do makeup and hair. Overall, though, we were incredibly happy with our choice, and have already recommended Cameron Estate Inn to others for their events.

is awesome and they are so good about laying everything out for you, helping you where they can, and answering any questions you may have. -The ceremony and reception spaces are truly magical and we didn't have a single hiccup through the day. -Their food is delicious and the dessert takes the cake (no pun intended). -Our coordinator Jacki did an amazing job with the decorations that we brought in, everything was just as I imagined. Cons: -The price is steep. We knew what we were signing up for when we did just that, but with a catering minimum of 16k, I would put this venue in the $$$ range rather than the $$ that it's listed at. (Other than the cost, ALL of the cons are geared towards the hotel side of the business.) -You have to assign which guest goes into each room, which I can understand helps to keep the people you want staying with you a bit organized, but it's hard to decide who has to pay $195 for the night and who has to pay $350 for the night. Some of the rooms are very steeply priced. -They do not answer the phone when your guests call me make their reservations, which leads to them leaving multiple messages and getting no calls back. Your guests will then pester you about it and it makes it a bit stressful to send multiple emails to the team asking about what is going on there. -The rooms also look nice on the surface. When we took our tour initially, we were charmed by the eccentricity of the rooms. They have an "old world charm" and are beautiful in the photos, but there are problems when you look up close. One of their most expensive rooms has a canopy over the four poster bed, which is gorgeous from affar, but when you get in the bed and look up, it is all torn up. We got multiple examples from guests about broken heaters, torn tapestries, etc. -The rooms were not very clean. We had multiple complaints of dust and dirt in the rooms. The room that my husband and I stayed in had a dead stink bug in a cobweb on the ceiling that I noticed as soon as we walked in due to a low ceiling. -Even though we had assigned ourselves to the Honeymoon Suite, we were not given the Honeymoon Suite. The room that my husband and I were given a key to was room #33 and it was frigid all night. There was a space heater that we had to run all night because of how cold we were, and there was still an air conditioner in the window. It also had old extension cords running almost everything, which made me worried about plugging in any of our devices to charge. All in all, would I recommend others to get married here? Yes. It's beautiful and their wedding team is just the best. But would I recommend future couples to utilize this place for guests to stay the night? Absolutely not. For the price of the rooms, they are not up to par. Wish we would have just used the SureStay hotel down the road, which we stayed at the night before the wedding.

As deadlines approached, she also sent helpful reminders to keep us on track. The vendors recommended by Cameron Estate are outstanding. Communication between them and the venue was seamless, so we rarely had to act as intermediaries. Most of the vendors had worked there before, were familiar with the venue’s policies, and provided top-notch service. The venue itself is stunning. We were fortunate to have an outdoor ceremony in the Spring Garden, surrounded by blooming flowers. Our reception was in the Spring Ballroom, which overlooks the garden and is filled with natural light—a truly beautiful setting. The food was fantastic (I still remember my father raving about his steak mid-dinner), and the drinks were excellent! Big thanks to the waitstaff, bartender, and kitchen team for their exceptional service throughout the night. Although we had a smaller wedding (about 70 guests), there was rarely a wait at the bar, and there was always plenty of food. In addition to the amazing service, I especially appreciated Cameron Estate’s transparency with pricing. Unlike many other venues we considered, which often had hidden fees, Cameron Estate provided a detailed pricing booklet. When you’re on a budget, that transparency is a huge relief. While we hope we never have to plan another wedding, if we had to, we’d choose Cameron Estate again in a heartbeat!

She was so sweet, took care of all the little details, made sure we were okay throughout the morning/afternoon, and kept us on our timeline of events. Her help throughout the day truly put us at ease. We stayed there and the rooms were clean and the free breakfast was great! We decided on an indoor ceremony and the space is BEAUTIFUL! We liked that Cameron had in house catering and it did not disappoint. We received so many compliments on the food and beauty of the venue! We had a perfect day here!

Our day-of coordinator was AMAZING and was incredible when we had to make the last minute decision to move indoors due to rain. The neutral: The food was amazing during our tasting. The quality was only okay during our actual wedding. In addition, there was another wedding the day of ours, which we knew was probably going to happen. However, due to the rain, we ran into each other more than I would have liked - I wish picture taking was more planned out by the venue between the two couples, as it felt like we were followed around. In addition, during our tour, we were told some information that was later contradicted. Luckily, neither were deal breakers. The negatives: The other couple was going to be married in the same indoor ceremony space 2 and a half hours after us, and had started setting up before our ceremony. They were not happy when we decided to move inside and they had to move their decorations due to inclement weather. In our room package, there was a room with a hidden door in a bookcase. A month before the wedding we were told it was broken and no longer available. This was a lie. They rented it to the other bride and groom, which we found out day of. It felt a little like the other couple was prioritized over us. Overall, the experience was mostly positive. The main reasons we wanted to use Cameron were because of all the beautiful photo locations, which we were able to take full advantage of. The other reason was the beautiful indoor ceremony space that was set up and ready to go in case of inclement weather - which we did end up having to use.

Our day of coordinators, Dana and Kat were fantastic and met with us the day prior to the event to make sure all bases were covered so that I had no details to worry about the day of the wedding. The food, drinks, and service were fantastic from the start of the day to the end. The venue itself is also very beautiful and few decorations are needed to make it look amazing. The team is incredibly professional and went above and beyond through the whole process to accommodate our rather large group (210 people). Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous venue in the Lancaster County region.

her job. She paid such great attention to us throughout the whole day. Every staff member we encountered was a pure delight. They really are there for their couples. The provide the best! All of our guests can’t stop talking about how wonderful the food was and how beautiful the venue was. My only negative would be the bridal party changing space. It could stand a little upgrading and a deep clean. The salon chairs were perfect for hair and make up. The bathtub is wonderful but the shower points right at the toilet leaving the whole space soaking wet. They do provide soaps which was great! The bagel tray (12) I had ordered for my ladies didn’t really seem worth the $110 dollars it cost but they were fantastic bagels.

ing the entire process! Ashley was our day of coordinator and she blew us out of the park by how well she handled everything, managed the day and was the glue to each and every part. We worked with Cathi prior to the day. Cathi was so wonderful, kept us on our timeline leading up, always offering her help and made sure all was seamless. The venue- absolutely beautiful. There were two wedding there on this day and we never had any issue of seeing the other party, parking or confusion. If we weren’t told of the other wedding, I wouldn’t have known! Food- every single guest raved about the food. Most expected typical banquet food and all were delightfully surprised by how upscale the entrees were and the seamless execution of serving. I couldn’t have been happier. Staff- the staff was attentive, made me feel truly special on the day and I never heard “we can’t do that” they made every single request work and were beyond helpful. Lodging- we spent the weekend here. The breakfast was amazing, always on time and relaxing. We had a different room for the wedding night and Cathi got us all situated prior to us starting the day in the room. It was a beautiful stay. I could go on and on about every little detail of the wedding and everything Cameron inn did for us. But, if you are considering this venue, take this as your sign to commit to this venue! It was a lot less stressful being that all large items of the wedding were grouped into the package so you’re not working with different vendors for linens, tables, bartenders, etc. it was all handled by Cameron inn. I expected the morning of the wedding to be hectic with last minute touches and a boat load of things to do- because of Ashley, the morning of was so relaxing, everyone was ready early and it just peaceful.

derful to work with. With a month left to go before the wedding, Cathi and I were in frequent communication and she was always very responsive to my phone calls. When we had our "tasting" my daughter and I thought the food was a tad too salty. I mentioned this to Cathi and she noted it and made sure it was on our planning paper. The last 2 weeks were crunch time and several changes were made and I never felt like she was frustrated with me and she accommodated every change. Since my daughter had a Friday wedding, and there were no weddings on Thursday, we were able to get in early to decorate which was a huge plus. The day of.... couldn't have gone off any better. I had made most of the desserts and was worried how I was going to display them all. Cathi and Katrina saw to it that her staff arranged the dessert table and kept it replenished throughout the night! We all know that the food and the DJ make or break a wedding. Well let me tell you... it started with the hor d'oeuvres which were delicious. The (hot) soup and salad were fantastic! I was nervous about having filet but people are still commenting on how excellent the meal was at the wedding. The steak was cooked perfectly, the chicken was as moist as can be and everything was hot!!!! The portions were also good sized, not skimpy. Now the wait staff.... I cannot thank them enough for the amazing job they did. Katrina (the banquet manager) was on top of everything from the get-go. She was such a big help and was present the entire night in case we needed something. Our waitress was so engaged and attentive and looked like she was genuinely having a good time. Of course when you have a group of 20-30 years olds there are bound to be some spills and drops. Not once did they complain and immediately got it cleaned up. I kept apologizing and they said it happens, never once making me feel bad about it. The end of the night.... I was exhausted and since we supplied all the centerpieces, decorations and desserts there was a lot to clean up. Every single waitstaff and Katrina were there to help. I think it took us less than 45 minutes to have everything packed up in cars. My daughter's wedding couldn't have been more perfect (oh I already said that at the beginning). Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who was involved! I neglected to mention the venue: it you have never been to Cameron Estates, you need to go see it. It is gorgeous! They have a beautiful conservatory if you want to be married inside, and a beautiful setting for outside weddings. They have 2 areas for receptions (one big and one smaller) and both are beautiful. The rod iron gate leading to the mansion is sure to catch your eye on the drive in the lane. I would have 2 small suggestions, one from my daughter and one from me: she was a little nervous about the hor d'oeuvres as you don't get to sample those at your tasting. It would have been nice to sample a few. And, I was a little disappointed that the Inn doesn't offer any kind of discount on their rooms the night of the wedding. We would have taken at least 7 or 8 (and they weren't reserved according to the website). But that sure wouldn't stop me from recommending anyone to have their wedding at Cameron Estate Inn.

She, too listened to what we needed from her that day and everything went PERFECTLY! Melissa, the Banquet Manager, was also awesome to work with! She and her serving staff even came on te dance floor and did a little "Cupid Shuffle" with us! Awesome people at an awesome venue! We couldn't have asked for anything better! It was a PERFECT day!!

so many compliments from all of our guests. - We had the whole place to ourselves for the weekend which our guests loved because they couple explore the grounds without worrying about interrupting another wedding. - We could book the Inn rooms for our guests so they could just walk over to their rooms if needed throughout the night. - We were able to have an after party on site in one of the other reception areas (with a bar tender and food). - Although they/the other local hotel didn’t have a shuttle service as a venue, we were able to hire a shuttle that ran throughout the night to the other hotel we had booked for guests. - The grounds were gorgeous!! The perfect fall landscape (although it looks perfect in any season, fall is spectacular). - We could use the bride and groom suites throughout the day which was perfect for regrouping. - Everyone who stayed at the Inn could go to breakfast the next morning which was perfect to share stories over breakfast and catch up with guests you may not have been able to spend time talking to the night before. All in all- beautiful, fun, and a wonderful place to celebrate with friends and family.

They pay attention to the small details that made it easy for us to sit back and relax and enjoy our day. Ashley, our day-of wedding planner, was wonderful and very patient with my excited family. She runs a tight ship! Cathi, the event manager, has been a dream to work with; from last-minute guests, to helping get a special band to play our wedding. If you are lucky enough to get a date here (they go quick!), then prepare yourself for a perfect wedding. We wouldn't have had ours any other way!

And it’s a bed and breakfast, so we could eat, sleep, and get married in the same place. AND the interior decor of the inn is very antique-our room had a claw-foot tub and carved armoire straight out of a Disney movie! The reception space we used was the spring view ballroom, gorgeous chandeliers and a ton of windows. There is a lovely outdoor ceremony area AND a beautiful, separate, fully prepared indoor space-the best rainy-day backup plan of any venue we visited. There were also getting-ready suites available for the bride and groom which we could access as early as we wanted in the morning. They only host one wedding per day in your reception space (up to 2 total per day because 2 spaces), so we could also decorate as early the day of as we wanted-though our amazing day-of-coordinator took care of placing our decorations in the hall. Throughout the planning process, the staff were very promptly responsive to all of our questions. The day of, we had a day of coordinator Haley who did a fantastic job helping with our decorations and checking in with us as the event progressed. Everything went very smoothly and we had an absolutely fairytale wedding. 100/10!

It was a 4 course meal, even had sorbet included! Also, the food was above average for a wedding venue. Especially enjoyed the center cut filet and adult mac n cheese bar! Our wedding day was beautiful. The banquet staff and day of coordinators did a wonderful job setting up. Communication throughout the planning process was great. Yani at the front desk was sooo beyond helpful with whatever I needed, and even helped me on the day of before I walked down the aisle. We had a lot of changes due to COVID or last minute things take place, and Yani always went above and beyond to help. Cathi was very quick to respond any questions, and Judi the owner, though we never met, was very kind to answer our questions if Cathi was unavailable. A few things to note: there can be two weddings at the venue one the same day, which there was for our wedding day. I barely noticed since the reception spaces are far from one another. One weird part was guests from the other wedding were walking around the inn after our wedding was over and we had the inn blocked. And having two weddings with the same reception space made our ceremony pretty early compared to normal. The other thing I would note is the staff at the venue changed during our planning process, so things we were told when we were sold the venue were not the same or some of the documents we initially received were outdated. I would recommend asking a lot of questions and writing things down, this made communication a lot easier with the venue after recognizing the differences from what we initially were told. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Cameron Estate Inn. The grounds, famous front gates, ceremony spaces, banquet rooms, historic inn, and location in Lancaster are all perfect! Having the ceremony, reception, and inn all on the same property was very convenient too. So many of our quests were blown away, asking how I found this hidden gem. Thank you CEI for our fairytale wedding. We hope to visit again in the future for anniversaries!

When we started our hunt for a venue, we had a list of non-negotiables: an outdoor ceremony location (with an indoor backup), beautiful gardens for photos, on-site catering, and above all a staff that we could personably connect with to make the planning process easy. We found all the above and MORE during our wedding journey with CEI. Their wedding packages that included alcohol services, cocktail hour, way too many entrees to pick from, linens, changing suites, a day of coordinator, and dessert options made the planning process simple and decisions easy to compare. However, we were never locked into a pre-built package as they allowed seamless flexibility to trade in an unwanted soup course (heck it was too warm for soup in July) for a bonus cocktail hour appetizer! The day of coordinators took away any stress as we were able to drop off all our centerpieces, decor, & boxes of decorations the night before, and they meticulously setup following our requests & guidance before we even arrived the day of our wedding. Our wedding day was spattered with passing rain showers, but the staff of CEI were extremely patient and flexible to be sure to carry out our wedding dream even if the weather would not accommodate. Friends and family alike showered us with endless compliments about the lush gardens, historic charm of the inn, and attentiveness of the staff! You only get one wedding day and partnering with CEI we were able to trust them with all the details and focus on what mattered most — making memories and sharing our love story with friends and family!
