Cristina of Carisma's Party Planning was great to work with from the first phone call. I hired her as a day-of coordinator, but her services which I paid for at a very reasonable price came with phone calls and assistance up to a month before ...the actual date of the event!
She has a GREAT attitude-- she listens to your concerns and notes every little detail and does not miss anything. She is also good at offering up her suggestions based on past experience, and this perspective is very helpful when wedding planning! With Cristina, I never felt like I was in the wrong hands, and always felt more reassured that the day would turn out as planned after each conversation with her. Also, if you ever have a question, she answers immediately-- and that is not an understatement. She replies within seconds of my texts/emails/calls!
On the actual day of the wedding, Cristina navigated the day perfectly. As a DIY bride who did not hire a decorator/designer, some things did not get done on my end and I did not even really have the time to flesh out a detailed to do list for Cristina, which I had meant to do. Nevertheless, the morning of the wedding we briefed her duties before I slipped into my dress, and she made it all happen. ( Of course, I would not recommend that you stretch her thin and push her to these limits--learn from my mistakes! Give yourself plenty of time to do everything!) When we got back from the church to the reception site, I was very happy to see that everything was in place and looked just as I had imagined in my head. Thank you, Cristina, for helping keep my stress levels down and doing the background work so I could focus on celebrating the moment with my new husband, family and friends! I am a very detail oriented person, and Cristina hit all the marks! I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone planning a wedding! --Jes & Brian
