Don recently catered our daughter’s wedding. When we met for the tasting we were asked what we wanted to spend. We then discussed a general menu. When we finally received the menu and quote, it was nothing we had discussed and more than we wanted to spend. Eventually got that straightened out. Day of the wedding, some of the serving staff were rather rude. A guest said the wedding was nearly perfect with the exception of the catering man in pajama pants who she saw eat with a chip straight out of the dip bowl. Come time to bring out the cake, I had been treated so rudely that I actually had my son in law do it instead. Then the blonde lady actually delayed the cake cutting and was rude when I asked for the chocolate cake to be cut. Overall the food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. They did provide to go boxes of all food for the bride, groom, and groom’s parents, but some how managed to forget us. $2700 later, I wish I had shopped around.

People are still talking about the food! I've had multiple people tell me it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. No one left hungry and it was nothing you see at a normal wedding buffet. His staff was also super sweet. But warning: Don's tells it how it is! Personally, I as a bride needed that (and probably a swift kick in the rear end) but if you are sensitive and looking for a 'yes man' he might not be your guy. He is very knowledgeable of the industry and isn't afraid to tell you what you might need to hear! I love a personality like that and found him both a pleasure and a hoot to work with!

Don was amazing!!! He knows what he is doing, and you can trust him to get the job done. Most of all the food was excellent. We had guest travel as far as 16 hours away who said the food alone was worth the trip! We really appreciated his help and suggestions throughout the process. Would definitely recommend Don!

Contacted him a month and a half prior to event. Asked if he was interested. Said yes and after a series of conversations he wanted to meet. This seemed odd because I was clear on what I wanted. I just needed to know the price. scheduled an appointment for us to meet and discuss details 5 days before event. I had received quotes from other companies and based on a few conversations with my friends they said he would do a great job and be fair. Unfortunately he kept telling me what he wanted to do and decided to rate his charge up because I would not add services. I wanted something that had to be made fresh at the event. I wanted an omelette station and he wanted to premake and drop off quiche. He rolled his eyes and was very condescending. I was very clear that I only wanted omelettes prior to the meeting. 35% more than all of the quotes I had received before event. Instead of telling me the job was to small and declining he waited to see if he could add services that were more expensive or easier for him. He had no desire to do my event and should have told me no. He knew that it was close so he gave me a price that was ridiculous because I was "option less". Luckily, I called one of the places that I received a quote from and they are able to take care of my event. Very disappointed. Especially since I was referred to his company and trusted that I would be treated with respect.

Don knows what good food is all about. My husband and I are big foodies so when it came to selecting a caterer for our wedding the food was really important. We went on numerous tastings and everything was mediocre, mass produced, most likely frozen, junk. Don and his team make everything from scratch, have great presentation, and great service. We had so many compliments on how delicious everything was. Don was also able to work with our budget and myself to come up with a custom menu for our wedding. Very pleased with how everything turned out.

After having a pretty rough start with Don, we were able to put any issue aside and he provided a great meal for all. I, and many family members, have celiac disease. He was knowledgable about the gluten free diet and helped to make everything easy for us. I didn't get to eat on my wedding day, but everything I had the next day was delicious. People are still talking about it 3 months later!

Don is simply the BEST!!! His food is absolutely amazing and his work ethic is even better! He is so sweet and thoughtful and really takes the time out to plan around your schedule and send you occasional messages to check on you! EVERYTHING on his menu is divine but my personal recommendations are his "Pepperjack corn grits with crawfish étouffée and his Crab and Corn bisque" ....to die for!
