The Chaska Event Center features a spacious 4,750-square-foot ballroom and an adjoining reception hallway, accommodating up to 300 guests. Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate seminar, family reunion, graduation party, or annual training, the CEC offers a versatile setting perfect for any occasion.
With optional A/V equipment, a built-in dance floor, cozy fireplace, and access to a scenic outdoor patio, the space is designed to meet a wide range of event needs. A fully equipped catering kitchen and built-in bar make it easy to host anything from casual buffets to elegant plated dinners.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Chaska and adjacent to Firemen’s Park, the Chaska Event Center offers more than just an indoor venue. Guests can enjoy the surrounding amenities including a fishing pier, boardwalk, playgrounds, and concession stand. During warmer months, take advantage of paddleboard rentals, splash through the interactive water fountains, or enjoy a swim in the Chaska Clayhole.

our own appetizers and dessert, even though we were using on-site catering for dinner. The staff was really helpful and on top of everything, but also laid back and allowed us freedom. This event center is owned by the city and therefore not looking to make a huge profit like many similar venues in the area which are priced much higher. Would highly recommend checking it out to any brides!

to decorate to your taste. The rental fee is reasonable, and I really appreciated that they allow you to bring in your own caterer.
Hannah, the event coordinator, is amazingly easy to work with and incredibly helpful. As we approached the wedding date, I feel like I was emailing Hannah every other day with a new question. She was quick to respond, helpful, and extremely pleasant. We had to set up the morning of the wedding, which was really stressful for me, but Hannah worked with us to unlock the Event Center early enough that everything worked out just fine and my endless worries were unnecessary.
The only downfall I experienced is that the Event Center patrons share restrooms with the Crooked Pint and the Curling Center patrons. I put together an emergency kit basket for the wedding party and guests that we put in the women's restroom upon our arrival. Unfortunately, one of my bridesmaids observed several other women who were not wedding guests taking several items out of the basket (like an entire bottle of Aleve which I ended up needing later when I wound up with a pounding headache in the middle of our reception), and we had to remove the basket from the restroom. This is maybe more of a general complaint against inconsiderate human beings than the actual Event Center, but it is something to keep in mind.
Overall, I would highly, highly recommend this venue, especially considering the prices of other venues in the Chaska area.
