Chef Elmer Guzman's Island Cuisine

Chef Elmar prepared all the food for our wedding at Dillingham Ranch. Everything from the passed canapes to the 2 course seated meal to even the bread baskets were divine! We had numerous guests come up to us throughout the wedding and on days to follow saying that they normally do not expect much from wedding food but thought this meal was great. The company was happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten free guests and everyone had enough food to keep them full throughout the night. Very easy to work with, responsive to emails and the food could not have been better. Highly recommend.

Catering was something let my now husband decide on for our wedding. We were deciding on more traditional hawaiian food or chef elmer. The traditional hawaiian food would've been cheaper but Chef Elmer was so personable and kind that we decided to go with him- also his food is phenomenal! So worth it! Food was something I was most concerned about for our wedding as I know that's something that your guests remember so I wanted to make sure it was great! We got a lot of good feedback from our guests and couldn't be happier!

Chef's Elmer did an amazing job catering our wedding we could not have asked for better! From our initial tasting to coordinating fluctuating guest counts to accommodating numerous dietary restrictions for guests Chef Elmer's was incredibly efficient and helpful throughout the whole process. And of course the food itself was INCREDIBLE! Everyone raved about the macadamia crusted snapper specifically but really everything including the appetizers was absolutely delicious and allowed for something for everyone including those with dietary restrictions. I could not recommend Chef Elmer's enough, I am so glad they were a part of our big day.

Our whole experience with Chef Elmer was wonderful. Our tasting was a fun memory with my parents and my fiance. They were very accommodating with our specific requests and on our wedding day the food was a hit! I am particularly grateful to the staff who went out of their way to help wipe down wet chairs at my ceremony when the rain cleared just long enough for us to get married outside. All around a really great experience!

We had Chef Elmer cater our wedding at Sunset Ranch. The food was delicious and everyone could not stop talking about it. The appetizers we had passed around were served on such cute platters! Chef Elmer and his crew were so easy to work with and were in constant communication. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding caterer.

We used Chef Elmer for our wedding at Kualoa Ranch and we 100% recommend them. The tasting process was delicious (duh) and the end product on the wedding day was phenomenal as well. Their team was prompt, prepared, and made delicious food. Our guests all raved about how good everything was.

You know the meal was a success when your guests can't quit talking about it the next day! Tristin was great to work with and Chef Elmer and their team provided excellent service before and during the dinner. Very professional and friendly. I feel that they went above and beyond as we had special requests regarding a homemade dessert table, etc which they handled without complaint or extra charge. We are all really thankful - you helped make the wedding a success!! Thank you!!

So delicious! I'm so glad we went with Chef Elmer. Tristin, THE best communicator, made the planning process so easy. We had passed appetizers, a buffet, and a little dessert while we waited for our cake to be cut. Everyone loved the food! I highly recommend Chef Elmer Guzman's Island Cuisine!

We were told by our guests that this was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We had both local and mainland guests, and both of their tastes were accommodated during our family style reception. While we didn't eat a ton of it during our wedding, our wedding leftovers were INCREDIBLE. Chef Elmer is very talented, and our point of contact, Tristin, was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Would highly, highly recommend.
