Cherie is one of the most patient people we could have hired for our daughter's Quinceañera. My husband and I started planning a year before our daughter's (15th birthday). At first, I was trying to do it alone, bringing so much frustration and... stress between our daughter and me. There were times I wanted to cancel the entire event. Before hiring Cherie, I constantly told my daughter, "We are behind. Please do something." "Your birthday will not happen if you don't put some effort into making it happen." When Cherie met with our daughter, they immediately connected, and our daughter was able to start getting more involved. When our daughter would not get going again, and I was once again frustrated, I would call Cherie with so much frustration. Cherie was calm, let me speak, and helped me feel reassured that everything was going to go just as we wanted. She set up more meetings with our daughter and appointments for both our daughter and me.
Cherie has an amazing ability to notice details. For example, when she came with us to see the venue, she noticed that the front tables' setup would not look as good as they were. She stated that she didn't like having our daughter sit in between two tables. Instead, she advised that the venue change the table arrangements to make the tables look like one long table. This is just one of the many details she coordinated for us. Though you may not see this detail's importance, the head table would have looked bad, and our daughter would have been uncomfortable. We had such ease using the website to input guess and their address and keeping track of who was coming and who was not. We were also able to create a sitting chart. Cherie gave our daughter the deadlines she needed to be still motivated to help and give us the time we needed to connect and enjoy the process.
On the day of our event, Cherie had an assistant, and I cannot state enough how Cherie's attention to detail and her choice of assistant made the evening run so smoothly. I had NOTHING to worry about, including getting the food picked up. Our daughter had chosen several different menus, though all local, still needed to be picked up and driven to the venue. From the Dominican food to pizza and arranging desserts, none of our guests had to worry about anything. Cherie also coordinated throughout the planning process with our decor coordinators; her communication with them was helpful. She also helped coordinate with our amazing photographer. A highlight for me was how I spent the day with our daughter and her court of 14 damas (our daughter's friends who were part of the ceremony) while they got dressed and enjoyed their time chatting and getting their hair and makeup done. I could spend that time with them because I knew exactly what would happen because of Cherie's organization.
We had a beautiful time; everyone came together beautifully to create a priceless experience, and the day was perfect.
