than I could have ever imagined!! Not only were the flowers themselves gorgeous, there was not a single table, surface, bar, or place that did not have an arrangement!! Everything was placed perfectly! Additionally, Cherry Hill provided 5 large Chinese vases that made the most STUNNING entry table to our tent, as well as candles on all of our tables (also placed perfectly!) Having an outdoor tented wedding was intimidating knowing that we had to make it feel elaborate and beautiful, and I owe it alll the Cherry Hill!!! Couldn’t recommend more!!

We got married in a formal ballroom but I still wanted some lush greenery for springtime, and every arrangement was the perfect balance between greenery and florals, and I loved the flowers that were used throughout the arrangements. Her shop has so many other décor items to include than just flowers, and everything looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend talking on the phone vs. email as that can be a bit slow on the response time, and going to her shop to meet in person really helped everything come together. Pricing is very reasonable and everything looked so beautiful! It really tied together everything from our ceremony to reception. She listened to everything we were looking for and executed it perfectly.

sations with Susan on the 1st of September and had a consult a week later. Her prices were reasonable especially compared to other florists in Newport! I waited patiently for a proposal and reached back out in October when I hadn't heard back. After 3 email reminders and multiple phone calls I finally got my proposal on October 26th. CherryHill just provides an email list, where every other florist I had spoken to sent formal contracts or documents. I didn't worry too much about it until we did decide to move forward with her and the difficulty in communication continued! It would consistently take numerous emails and phone calls over weeks at a time to receive a response. Up until the point where I was days away from my wedding and still had not confirmed what she would be ordering! Because of my lack of trust I sent very detailed descriptions of what I wanted for my florals. Almost everything ended up as I had asked, with just a few hiccups. The center staircase at our reception was not what I had asked for and the flowers definitely wilted quickly. If you do work with them just be mindful that their more affordable, but still expensive, Newport prices do come with some down sides! And call if you want to get in touch!! Never email, you won't get a response!

ght that was great but later I didn’t like there were no expectations of what I should expect from Cherryhill. Susan was flexible when we postponed our wedding till Oct 21. For the bouquets I gave several inspo photos. I told Susan I don’t like regular roses but like garden roses that look like peonies. She seemed to understand & said she’d email the details & price. I never received an email. I emailed 5 times from Aug-Oct with no response. In Oct, I called to schedule to drop off the lanterns centerpieces & was told we would review the final details then. We arrived & asked to see Susan but she only greeted us & said she’d email the final details. I never received an email. After calling a few times over a week, an employee at Cherryhill figured out the email Susan had tried to send was getting an error message. When I finally got the email it listed vague details about the design of the flowers (ex: 7-19 add café au lait & ranunculus). The boutonnieres listed info from the old date. I replied & they said the right info was written down in their file. I asked if we could pay as we were only 2 weeks from the wedding. Susan took the card # & said she’d text me with the final amount to ok. A couple days went by & the card had not been charged. I called again & Susan told me the person who took the # would do it when they got in (even though it was her who took the #) & then said something about how we didn’t have centerpieces even though we did. She caught herself but it made me extremely nervous she had no idea what was going on with my wedding. After this call, the card was still not charged. It took till the Wed before the wedding & me calling to complain for them to process the payment. Having the card # for over a week & not charging it was inappropriate. If it would not be processed till a day or 2 before the wedding I should have been told that not left in the dark & extremely stressed. On the wedding day the flowers were overall NOT what I asked for. The bouquets were pretty but not right. The petals were browning & wilting on mine. The memorial charm for my bouquet was not attached. I could have dealt with any other issue but the memorial is what really meant the world to me. I can’t understand how someone who specializes in weddings could forget something so special. They were able to get back to my house just in time & I do appreciate that they fixed the mistake. The flowers for the church were NOTHING like the pics I had shown. They were hydrangeas & roses (the ones I said I didn’t like). I wasn’t told there would be hydrangeas nor considered b/c they were not in any inspo photo I shared. For the reception, the lanterns should have had flowers at the base & on the top but there were only flowers at the base that were lack luster. None of the flowers spoke to a fall wedding or the photos. The flowers looked more like Spring(colors & lots of eucalyptus) It was sad to have waited so long to have such a stressful experience & the flowers be a disappointment. I think how busy they were contributed to our poor experience. I understand they are swamped right now but it left me feeling they over committed themselves & my wedding suffered. I believe they do beautiful work but I trusted that I was understood during our discussions but was mistaken.
