I found everyone (Bonnie, Noreen, etc) at Write for You to be fabulous to work with during wedding planning! We used Write for You not only for our invitations, but also for our escort cards, table name settings, and witness board that guests signed at the wedding. They helped immensely with both brainstorming and executing creative touches on all of these items, and were extremely patient and supportive as we made decisions throughout the process. From our initial meeting with them to discuss invitations, to visits the week before our wedding to finalize and retrieve other items, Write for You was professional, timely, responsive, and understanding. Could not recommend them enough - everyone there is wonderful to work with and very experienced at wedding planning!

How often do you feel like a wedding vendor has become your friend? That's the way I felt after working with Bonnie and her staff at Write For You. They did a fabulous job on the wedding invitations, and followed that up with an equally fabulous job on the wedding ceremony programs and the wedding menus. I feel like I received top-quality service and top-quality results. The prices were reasonable, and the personal service was exceptional. Bonnie, my principal contact, even called me while on her vacation to make sure everything was going smoothly. She and her staff are consummate professionals. They know how to get things done and get them done right and on time. Plus, they are wonderful to work with. What more could you want?

There is no better place. First, I started by getting my Save the Date Cards there. We worked together to design a great DC themed card, complete with a Capitol Building. Next, there were so many choices for my invitations. The women sat patiently (for over an hour) with me while I picked every detail out for my invitations. I finally made beautiful invitations, which were exactly what I wanted. I have received so many positive compliments. Third, I went in to create my wedding ceremony programs and finally they took care of my table-cards. Every woman there was very helpful in explaining what I should do for each stage of the process and explained all the best steps to take. It was an overall wonderful experience. I would recommend Write for You to anyone beginning the process of planning a wedding. Everything was expensive - but I guess high cost for high quality.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Made good suggestions and the invitations were perfect... simple, yet elegant. Invitations are still ridiculously expensive and I really wanted to do them via an online vendor, but felt better actually seeing and feeling the samples. Peace of mind made it worthwhile.

I found the staff to be great in guiding me and my fiancé. My fiance was opinionated but the staff was patient to work with us to get the invitation of my dreams done!

Bonnie and Noreen (as well as Kate) helped us with all the "paper products" related to our wedding--from the save the dates to the invitations, thank you notes, programs, escort cards, menus, and probably a few other things that I'm forgetting... and they were amazing! They truly cared about making sure the final products were stellar--and the final products were indeed fantastic We were so pleased with how everything turned out. Perhaps most importantly, they were also incredibly patient with us during the times that we got frazzled with all the wedding stress, and they were always available via email or phone to discuss any questions that we had. As most brides know, wedding planning can be extremely stressful... but i can honestly say, without a doubt, working with Write for You was the most efficient and blissful experience. I met with Noreen and Bonnie once to discuss what I wanted for invitations, menues, escort cards, etc. and they instantly got me. When i wasn't sure how to explain something I liked, they were able to advise me and show me samples to help make my decision. They have a creative and sophisticated eye for this stuff and when I was indecisive I knew I could always trust their suggestions. Noreen, Bonnie and Kate are incredibly organized, always friendly and a blast to work with! Write for You has always been my go-to place for custom invitations (birthdays, bridal showers, wedding etc.) and they have an incredible selection! From the start, when we met with Noreen to design the Save the Date and with the help of Kate, we knew we had the best to guide us with all the details and expertise that would be required for the Big Day. The Smock wedding invitations were stunning and a soft color palette was established that Write for You was able to incorporate into the wedding programs, menu cards, paper products, escort cards and even monogrammed notes for the new bride. No task was too big, even to the printing of a one of a kind map of Washington DC with the bride and groom's favorite places. No task was too small even to the printing of fifteen Bridesmaid Luncheon invitations that could be printed on site. From the moment I stepped in the store to look at save the dates, I was greeted with a friendly and warm welcome. The staff were very knowledgable and worked with me to find the perfect save the date and wedding invitation. They have a full selection of top quality paper products in varying price ranges. I chose an invitation by Smock which I absolutely loved. As most brides, there were times when I was having a difficult time deciding on things, and I found the staff to be wonderful in guiding me to make my own decision while providing me with information that was useful. I cannot recommend Write for You more highly. You will not be disappointed!

The ladies at Write for You know their stuff, and are flexible and easy to work with. They were able to provide guidance on all of the pieces of printed stationary necessary for a wedding, and offered a variety of styles and price points. I live away from DC and they were flexible about the fact that I had to do a lot over email and phone. They have tons of examples in the store, and have worked on events of all kinds so they always have ideas on how to tackle a challenge.

Write for You did a great job with my invitations. They let me mess around with colors and styles for a while and guided me without being pushy. I had a couple of changes once I got the proof, and they had a new one back to me with no issues. They were shipped in good time and were packed impeccably. On top of that, the women that work there are low-key and personable.

Write for You is a small gem of a store in Washington, DC. and is a MUST if you are planning to order your wedding stationery. As our only vendor supplying the paper needs of our wedding, the end product was classy and elegant. Dealing with the staff was a delight. They are true professionals yet they show a friendly attitude, working the many details and meeting the tight deadlines we had for our wedding. They are so knowledgeable with navigating proper social etiquette, something we miss in our life of technology and internet ordered invitations. All our guests positively commented on the Save the Date and Invitations we sent out. Write for You also provided menu cards, church programs, escort cards, name place cards, and goody bags for our out-of-town guests. Everything they did is high quality. It is truly a one stop shop. I have used Write for You for stationery and other invitations and always found their selection extensive and attractive and their service excellent. This was certainly true when my daughter and I went to order the invitations to her wedding. We arrived with a fairly vague sense of what we wanted, and Noreen was a great help in narrowing the seeming unlimited selection to an invitation that we were very happy with. Service is what distinguishes this shop, and Noreen and other staff members were patient, knowledgeable, and, when asked, willing to advise. They were also very responsive throughout the ordering process, always taking our phone calls, answering emails promptly, etc. (which was not always true with other wedding vendors). Both the bride and I can sincerely recommend Write for You.

Bonnie and Write for You are fantastic! They have done all my invitations, Christmas cards, printing needs for years and everything has always been done to perfection. But when it came time for my son's wedding they really came through. The save the date card was very different and had to be designed. It turned out so well and received many compliments. Bonnie really got what the bride wanted and was so easy to work with. She is an expert on correct wording and any etiquette questions you may have. I also had a theme for the rehearsal dinner that I wanted carried out on the invitations and Bonnie searched endlessly for just the right invitation. Everyone was so impressed by all of our invitations - you know when guests call you specifically to say how much they liked your invitation it must have been special!

Write for you and Bonnie were the best! I wanted a unique vintage save the date and Bonnie was able to take an old postcard i found and turned it into the perfect save the date. Our invitations were simple and beautiful. The whole experience was stress free and very enjoyable with Bonnie and the entire write for you staff!

I am the mother of four daughters. My oldest daughter, Megan, was married on June 30, 2007. A friend recommended Write For You to us. Bonnie and Noreen helped Megan choose her Vera Wang invitation. Megan left the rest of the planning up to me. Bonnie and Noreen walked me through the entire wedding weekend celebration. If they couldn't find what we needed from a vendor, they would create it and print it in house. They were responsible for all of the paper products; engagement and shower invites, rehearsal dinner and brunch invites, notes for out of town guests with weekend timeline, thank you notes, etc. Megan and Christian had a beautiful wedding and reception thanks to Bonnie and Noreen's amazing attention to detail! My youngest daughter, Morgan got married September 3, 2011. Morgan was very hands on, and wanted to be involved in every detail. Morgan lives in Boston, so her time in town was limited. Again, Noreen and Bonnie came to our rescue, and made themselves available not only while Morgan was in town, but also by phone and email. Morgan was determined to make her wedding unique, especially since the wedding and reception would be held at the same venue as Megan's reception. Morgan choose a letter press invitation by Smock. Morgan's attention to detail got in her way a little bit. But, Noreen and Bonnie worked with her to create all of her many wishes. Kate, one of Write For You's excellent printers, went over and above to design table cards with hydrangeas, names of cities/towns that Morgan and Jordan had been to, and a note explaining why the city/town was important to them. The wedding was an interfaith wedding. Noreen and Bonnie helped put together a wedding program that combined both religious traditions. Morgan and Jordan had a fairy tale wedding! Weddings are beautiful. But, what makes a wedding unique to every couple is all in the details. Write for You is the perfect match for any Bride. I have worked with the amazing women from Write for You for years. When I got engaged, I knew that Noreen, Bonnie and Kate would be the perfect help (despite my crazy visions). From finding a way to incorporate a photo into my save the dates, to matching the perfect color for our invitations, to the shower invites, to the beautiful and creative ways to display our table cards/signature drink cards/escort cards, to helping with my extremely last-minute wishes for "cocktail drink flags", I was absolutely amazed with their work from start to finish. These women go above and beyond and are extremely creative for those brides who need ideas and extremely accommodating for those of us who are completely insane and want particular things that most would tell you is impossible. They know how to reel you in if you're ideas won't match your budget, but they push you to make the most of your ideas. They are incredible and I will be using them forever and ever!

I absolutely loved working with Write For You for all my wedding stationary. They did my invitations (smock), my menus, programs, escort cards, place cards (William Aurther) and thank you notes (Crane). They had a lot of helpful advice but at all times listened to my vision (no matter how frequently changing!) and worked to create exactly what I asked for. Write for You was the perfect vendor for all our wedding printing and paper needs. All of our wedding printed materials were from Write for You: invitations, programs, menus, escort cards and place cards. In addition, we worked with Write for Your to design and print the rehearsal and brunch invitations. And, I almost forgot - a really cute engagement party invitation. Even though we changed our minds several times on different aspects of the invitations, they were always understanding and accomodating. The satff - Noreen, Bonnie and Kate - are extremely knowledgeable and generous with their time. They provided guidance on what followed wedding etiquette while at the same time were flexible and helped us to incorporate some elements that were important to my daughter. We received many compliments on the invitations and other printed materials. I would recommend Write for You highly to anyone seeking a professional and customer-friendly experience with a fabulous outcome. I purchased Save the Dates and wedding invitations at Write for You for my daughters' weddings. At the store, there are samples of printed invitations on display for the customers to browse through. The key to the shop is the women who work there. They are most helpful, guide you through the selection process , and are very knowledgable about everything that goes into an invitation--paper types, fonts, sizing, colors, etiquette, and mailing . The sales people are equally good at supporting your own ideas as well as suggesting some creative ideas of their own should you need a little help. If you like the idea of having a personal shopper this is the place for you.

It is hard to imagine how we would have met our wedding deadline of Juily 23 without the service and help beyond the call of duty of Write For You, located at 3807 McKinley Street N.W., Washington DC. We dealt with Noreen and Bonnie almost exclusively in their shop. All of the wedding stationery was procured from Write For You, including the invitations to the engagement party, ladies' lunch, gentlemen's lunch, wedding itself, announcements, and place cards, and even the post-wedding brunch. This small shop had extensive choices with up-to-date color, invitations there designs which we as parents and the bride and groom easily agreed upon. Both women were extremely knowledgeable about their merchandise. It seems that my husband and I were always behind the eight-ball with respect to deadlines, but they pushed, pulled and sometimes dragged us along.
