Chuy's catered our 75 person wedding and did a phenomenal job. They were quick in responding to our questions and very accommodating in making changes as our date got closer. We really appreciated the friendly service on the day of the wedding - they stayed through dinner service and our cake cutting! The food was delicious, just as you'd expect and their pricing was very reasonable for our smallish wedding. Highly, highly recommend them!!!

Our guests still rave about the food from our June 2024 wedding! We had a lot of guests fly in from Massachusetts, so we wanted to give them a true Tex-mex experience. The food was hot and delicious. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about everything from the chips and salsa to the fajitas. You won’t regret booking Chuy’s!

Chuy’s services were extremely affordable without sacrificing quality and they exceeded our expectations. Booking was simple and communication was effective. Chuy’s was an absolute hit for the night. We had Chuy’s provide for both our cocktail hour and main course, and everything was delicious. Their catering staff from ordering to the buffet were a pleasure to work with. They kept the buffet line moving smoothly and the tea topped up. They setup, served, and tore down with no issues at all. Wonderful experience all around.

The food was excellent, and we had plenty for everyone. Everything was done very professionally and on time, and there were no issues that needed dealt with on the day off. Nikki (Chuy's Catering Manager) was very quick to respond to emails and calls and was very organized making sure everything was ready for our wedding.

THE BEST experience!! You might not think that choosing a chain restaurant for your wedding would be a good idea, but let me tell you. If you are on a budget and you are not high maintenance about your food selections, then Chuy's is an excellent pick. There won't be really any communication from them after you sign a contract, but there doesn't really need to be. They don't offer many different payment options -- they request your cc # about a week before the wedding, so if that bothers you then take that into consideration. However, their level of service on our wedding day was TOP NOTCH. They were regularly checking on us to see if we needed anything. They made our plates for us so that our coordinators could focus on dismissing tables and they were so kind to me. One of the servers was hyping me up right before I walked down the aisle, which was so sweet of her! They packed up our leftovers & they cut our cake for us! Such a good experience.

I loved Chuy's catering! They brought over vegetarian dishes right after our grand entrance and had plates of the appetizers and drinks ready for us. It was very thoughtful. At the end of the night, they bagged everything up well and were able to get all the extras to us. During the wedding process, they were very easy to coordinate with and helped us find a good balance for all guests. At the wedding, everyone raved about the food. Couldn't recommend more.

I am soooo glad I choose Chuy’s for my wedding. Heather and her team did an absolutely amazing job! I booked them for cocktail hour service as well as dinner. They set up in 2 areas so appetizers could be served then dinner. All of the guests told us they loved the food and everything was very tasty. I also hired them for cake cutting which totally saved me lol. At the end of the night they packaged all the leftovers for us and cleaned up after dinner and cake service. Don't hesitate to book them they are spectacular

Who doesn’t love some creamy jalapeño and fajitas! Everyone loved the food and the price was AMAZING!! We used them for cocktail hour first with flautas, chips, queso, salsa, creamy jalapeño, and boom boom sauce. For dinner we did a buffet with beef and chicken fajitas, rice, beans, and chips and sauces. It was sooo good. They made a plate for Jeff and I based on what we had said our preference was and even sent us back to the hotel with a big to-go bag of all of our favorite things! You won’t regret using them!!

Chuy's catered my wedding, and the food was incredible! My only complaint is that the appetizers I ordered for cocktail hour were NOT served during cocktail hour, instead they were served with dinner, leaving me with way too many leftovers. In hopes of helping future brides, MAKE SURE the caterer you speak with knows when particular items should be served EVEN IF it shows up correctly on your quote. I definitely did not get my money's worth due to this mistake.

We used Chuy's Tex Mex to cater our wedding and it was the best decision we made. The only slight negative I had was that they were a bit unresponsive right out of the gate to get booked, I think they were in the middle of transitioning people in the catering department so I gave some grace with that. However, everything for the day of and the weeks leading up to the wedding they were amazing and very responsive so they made up for that. The fajitas were incredible and the servers and staff that helped at our wedding we courteous, respectful and so kind. They were able to provide all the services our venue required for catering and they followed the plan without a hitch. I am so grateful we used them to provide a buffet for our wedding and would not hesitate to recommend them in the future. We were so happy with the food, service and attention to detail for our wedding!

Chuys catered our wedding and we couldn't be happier! They are extremely affordable, accommodating, communicative, and easy to work with. We got SO many compliments from our guests. Who doesn't want chips and creamy jalapeño/queso at their wedding? Chuys even provided their blackberry margarita mix (my favorite) for one of our signature cocktails which was a huge hit at the bar, especially on a hot summer day in Texas. What a dream!

Chuy's catered our June wedding and the food was PHENOMENAL! We had chips and dips bar for appetizers during cocktail hour and a fajita taco buffet for dinner. The service was excellent and food was great! The only issue I had was that I often needed to send a follow-up e-mail to receive responses from them and they would not provide flipping services for my ceremony. I think portraying yourself as a full service caterer would imply that you offer these services. However, I still would highly recommend due to great service, tasty food, and working with me on changing the allotted time needed last minute.

Chuy's was such an amazing addition to our wedding for catering! We love eating there and wanted a fajita taco bar for our dinner. They were reasonably priced compared to many other restaurants in the Austin area, almost HALF the price for a smaller wedding. They were amazing to work with and delivered everything on time and I was so glad we went with them.

Chuy's was AMAZING. We did a buffet with 2 tacos/person (fajita beef and/or chicken), mexican rice, beans, and all the fixings. Of course, we couldn't forget creamy jalapeño and queso. ;) The food was incredible (as Chuy's always is!) and Mica was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend Chuy's for all your wedding yum needs.

Mica, Austin's Catering Manager, was so amazing to work with! She was super friendly, very quick to respond and worked with us with our every changing guest count due to COVID. Her and her team were very professional and not to mention the food was delicious. All of our guests were so excited we were having Chuy's at the wedding. There was an oversight at our dessert table and the Chuy's staff took it upon themselves to set it up and make sure it looked beautiful. I am forever grateful. For our Austin wedding, I knew I wanted to have something Tex-Mex and that was an Austin local. We love Chuy's and knew that people would love them, as well. We met with Mica to have a tasting and talk logistics. She was knowledgeable and super sweet! Through the final planning stages, we updated her with the numbers and specialty meals we needed and they accommodated easily! We even had a guest who has a corn allergy so I bought my own corn-free tortilla chips for her to eat queso with Chuy's put them in a separate basket and delivered it to her assigned table. The dinner ran smoothly with 190 people with buffet and we had ample amount of food that my parents took home! They were wonderful to work with and the food was delicious! As well, the staff bused our tables, handled trash and clean up that we paid extra for due to the venue's rules. They were great!

We loved the Chuy's buffet at our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely wonderful and beautifully presented in silver bowls and chafing dishes. Everything tasted just as we expected and was such a treat for our out-of-town guests as well as for all of us who are already Chuy's fans. The two caterers who came to our event were both exceptionally polite and conscientious, and they went above and beyond in all regards. They were so helpful in many ways - tending the food, assisting guests, clearing plates, packing leftovers - and they stayed until the room was spic and span at the end of the evening. Mica was prompt and helpful with emails and phone calls during the planning phase. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I could not be more pleased!

Chuys food is always amazing, but we struggled a little with their customer service. They were pretty hard for me & my coordinators to get in touch with throughout the year of planning we did. Since they are a restaurant they don't seem to plan ahead as much with some things. If you work with them, I would make sure you have a few people you can contact since they can be hard to get a hold of/ get a response from. It was a little bit of a frustrating experience when we were trying to get all the details together for the day, but they did a great job in the end for the actual day. I love their food and it was delicious!

We actually just launched our full service catering on August 26th. Previous to this date you were working with a restaurant. I LOVE Chuys. Not all of the locations will do catering but the one up on North Lamar does. We had originally wanted a mix of fajitas and burritos but after talking to the main catering guy he said that its hard to keep the burritos warm and from drying up and recommended we stick to fajitas. I was a little bummed since the burritos are my absolute favorite. They ended up bringing 2 burritos just for me and the groom (which were warm and delicious!!) as well as a free meal for 2 since they werent able to do the burritos for everyone. Everyone loved the fajitas. They also provided beans, rice, chips, and creamy jalapeno. Everything was perfect!!
