This was the worst experience of buying clothing online that I've ever experienced. Terrible service, terrible quality, and just plain terrible all the way around. If the grooms hadn't picked this particular dress, there is no way I would have ...gone through what I went through to be sure I had one to wear because I was in the wedding. I ordered the dress based on their sizing chart. I went about 1" too big everywhere to be sure it fit, and it ended up being a stock size. When I received the dress, it had about 4" left to close at the top. It was a strapless, and it fit everywhere but the top. When I received the dress, I had COVID, was closing on my personal home (I'm a Realtor) and was moving that week. I tried it on the second I had a minute to do so. They would not exchange it because it was out of the 7-day exchange period. (They will NOT do a straight return.) They "so kindly" offered me a 15% discount on the next dress. So, in order to be friendly and be sure to receive the dress in time, I made up something about it being my fault because I ate too much over the winter or something. So, I ordered a dress that was SO big that I could slip it on and off while zipped up and still had room for 2-3 fists when it was on. I took it to get tailored and it fit really well. I waited until the week of the wedding to get it cleaned because I didn't want it to sit in the closet and get wrinkled again. This is when I found out the dress was in bad condition. The material used had so many imperfections (little white stripes where it should have been a solid dark color), and it was sewn together so poorly (the pleats were coming apart at the seams. These were not altered, they removed material from the back to alter size) that they recommended only pressing the dress and not dry cleaning because they believed the dress would be ruined by the process. So, I left it with them, 7 days before the out of state wedding. I returned 2 days later to pick up the dress, and the material was so badly ruined from just being pressed that it was not usable. I had to try to find a cleaner/tailor who could try to fix it for me. Luckily, I found one, and she was able to use the front section of the first dress I had (remember, they wouldn't let me exchange or return it) and tack it on to the second dress. It wasn't great, but it at least didn't have large white marks on the dark purple part that was right in front. It was a complete nightmare. When I got to the wedding and the other 2 ladies and I were discussing our dresses, they each had the same issue with the quality and sizing. The material defects on theirs were in less obvious places, so it worked out, but the top of the front folded over and showed the white underneath on all 3 of our dresses. So much so that we just decided since it all looked the same we might as well leave it alone. None of us have told the grooms the extent of problems we had, because we wanted THEIR day to be nice and as unstressful as possible. In total, I've spent over $250 on a dress that I first bought on sale at $66 plus shipping, because COCOMELODY has terrible service, terrible quality, and all around terrible everything. I would never depend on them for anything, and definitely not for something as important as my wedding day.
