Copper Kitchen

Copper Kitchen was one of the recommended vendors with our venue, and I couldn't have been happier. They were very easy to work with and the food was delicious! All of our guests were a part of the "clean plate club" at our wedding. This is a great vendor for those who need tasty Vegan/Vegetarian options that aren't the typical "steamed veggies"--my vegan family felt seen and LOVED the Vegan Pot Pie main dish.

Copper Kitchen was the HIT of our wedding! The food was next level, with menu options that fit all dietary needs and restrictions. The staff was highly communicative and were always free for advice and direction. The bar staff and servers made our New Years celebration spectacular and even joined us on the dance floor to ring in 2023- I am still getting texts about how amazing and warm they were to our guests. Stephanie, the planner for our account, was an angel during the planning process and a true boss the day of; we had no stress and no worries the day of as it was all taken care of and Steph kept everything in order perfectly! On top of food, beverage, and staffing- Copper Kitchen provides rentals, china, flatware, and glassware. When I tell you that this was a huge load taken off of us, I mean it. They schedule and appointment for you and your planner to run through all available options, dressing tables so you can have photos and videos, assist with matching to aesthetic and table décor, and they ensure your look is seamless across the venue. I recommend Copper Kitchen to any and all brides in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area because they made all the difference in our big day! The entire organization is professional, caring, kind, and creative.

Copper Kitchen was absolutely wonderful, I couldn’t have been more happy on our special day. Lexi was great throughout our entire booking process up until day of, very commutative and made sure it was exactly what we wanted. I booked this vendor with it taking up a huge chunk of my budget and it was so worth it. Every day of went so smoothly and the food was absolutely delicious (we got so many compliments), it was even better than on tasting day. The servers/cooks were all so sweet and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Bridal party, parents, and us as bride and groom were very tended to and there were multiple servers who would come up to see if we needed a drink or anything for that matter! I cannot thank Lexi enough either she went above and beyond (even when my bridesmaids were at cocktail hour on another side of the property…she came down to help the photographer and throw my veil). This place made my day! I could literally write forever.

Overall, the food and experience I had wih Copper Kitchen was excellent. Stephanie was super responsive and flexible. She went above and beyond to make sure we had all we wanted. I absolutely adore her. My guests were really happy with the food and there was a ton to choose from. They also made the world's best charcuterie boards. I loved that the alcohol was included in our price and we could choose from different levels and create signature drinks with our own names. Planning with Copper kitchen was a breeze, but the execution wasn't perfect. Their bartenders were serving some guests before the ceremony, the dinner took a really long time to get served to everyone, and my husband didn't get the entire meal. We had salmon and fillet and he only got the fillet. There was supposed to be signature drinks immediately at the beginning of the cocktail service, but they didn't have them ready so most people didn't have them and still waited a long time at the bar. In addition, I had specialized napkins made for the cocktail hour. It wasn't until I asked a bartender where they were that they put them out and put the white napkins away. I didn't buy that many and I still have some left over because they really weren't handing them out. In addition, my husband and I were without drinks a lot. Even when we would go to the bar, the bartenders would serve other people first and not recognize us as the bride and groom (even though I was wearing a long white gown). I recognize that most of those things are little, so I would choose Copper Kitchen again. I just would have appreciated those things to be in place.

I'm still in awe about how amazing my wedding was, and I'm so glad we went with Copper Kitchen as our caterer. All our guests were raving about the food. It was SO good. Leading up to the wedding, Ashley was great to work with, answering all our questions and quick to respond. She also helped us with the additional rentals needed (flatware, table clothes, etc). Most important to me, Copper Kitchen was able to handle ALL our guests dietary restrictions. We had a large amount of vegetarians, a handful of vegans, a couple of guests who keep Kosher, and a couple guests who are gluten free, and they were able to accommodate everyone. Extra shout-out for the veggie meals- I had the vegan eggplant "parm" and it was AMAZING. Also, the desserts were amazing, and, even though I'm not a cake person, the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting blew me away! It was SO good I'm eating the leftovers now writing this review. They also had someone "assigned" to me and my husband who literally attended to our every need (she made sure we were able to eat all our cocktail hour food, made sure we stayed hydrated, and replenished all our drinks- I literally had bottomless champagne), which was so nice. Because of covid (thanks omicron), we had some last minute cancelations, and the kitchen was able to box up the extra meals for us to take home (also the food reheated well!). They were one of my venue's two exclusive caterers, so that took even more stress off me as they so seamless work with the venue. But even if your venue isn't contracted with them, they really know what they are doing! You seriously can't go wrong with them.

Do yourself a favor and select copper kitchen as your caterer. I know I sound biased since they were my wedding caterer, but I’ve been so many many weddings in the Baltimore area and have never heard so many resounding praises amongst guests… and that’s for everything - cocktail hour, salads, dinner, desserts, drinks. Even my hardest to please invitees loved the all of the food! And all of that would be worth 5 stars alone but then you add in the service…. Tawney is the most awesome person to work with. She helped with planning, coordinating, designing (girl has awesome taste), and was my anchor the day of. You can tell from the second you meet her that she’s been in the business a long time, and has coordinated tons of weddings. Confidence surrounds her and it will make you feel assured, while at the same time her excitement and attention to detail will make you realize that she cares just as much as you do about making your day perfect. This vibe extends to every member of the CK team. They’re all absolutely WONDERFUL. I can’t think of one negative thing to say. I wouldn’t change a thing about what Tawney and the CK team did for me on my wedding day!

WOW. We had such an amazing experience with Copper Kitchen and are so glad they were our caterer! The food tasted amazing and all of our guests were raving about how delicious it was. We had the short rib at our tasting and it was one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted and I couldn’t wait to eat it again at our wedding. We have attended many weddings where the guests show up and there is a long line for the bar or we have had to wait a long time for the food to be ready. This was not the case with Copper Kitchen. Everything was ready and our guests were able to easily get food and drinks as soon as they showed up to the venue. On top of that, there was a server assigned specifically to my husband and me to make sure we got enough food and drink throughout the evening. We felt like royalty! Copper Kitchen also provided a day-of-coordinator to work with us on planning and make sure everything runs smoothly. Lexie was so wonderful, so responsive, and friendly and very detail-oriented and everything about our day was a success because of her. We highly recommend Copper Kitchen and we had such a great experience with them!

The food from Copper Kitchen was absolutely amazing. All of our guests raved about everything from the many appetizers, to the delicious dinner, to the amazing dessert and cake. In addition to being delicious, the food was beautifully plated, and the venue looked perfect. Tawny was so extremely helpful and accommodating. An extra nice touch was that the Bride and Groom got a plate of appetizers to eat together at the beginning of the cocktail hour to make sure that we were fed and got to try them! We absolutely loved working with Tawny and everyone at Copper Kitchen and highly recommend them!

Seriously the best wedding food ever. We have had every guest make sure to tell us just how amazing the food was and how it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The service they provide is unbeatable. We worked with them over the course of 2.5 years (yay pandemic weddings) and when we finally were able to have our day it was truly the most amazing time. I cant recommend them enough if you wish to truly have the best wedding food and just the best wedding.

Food, Service, Drinks, and every fine detail were elevated beyond our highest expectations by Copper Kitchen, Tawney, and her team. From the planning, personalized food tasting, and execution of the little details that made all the difference, we could not have made a better choice! Copper Kitchen was with us every step of the way as we kept pivoting our wedding plans due to Covid. They were flexible, communicative, and gave us a night to remember. Their service exceeded our expectations! Lexie was our coordinator who always kept us in the loop and made sure the party went smoothly from cocktail hour to dancing. We could not recommend them more highly!

We had a great time working with CK throughout our wedding planning. We worked closely with Kara during the process and with her support we did not need a wedding planner. She also make sure everything ran smoothly and stayed on the time line throughout the evening. She was easy to work with and gave us great ideas for our event. Our guests gave us so many compliments about how good the food was. As the bride and groom we even got steaming hot plates of our delicious food during dinner!! Our food was boxed so that we could enjoy it even more the day after the wedding. Our taco bar and ice cream bar were a big hit! The staff was very professional throughout the evening and all staff wore masks which helped make our guests feel more comfortable. We definitely recommend CK for your event!

Tawney and Copper Kitchen far exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food and service absolutely amazing but Tawney was as well. She did an amazing job with every aspect of our Wedding Day, we could not have pulled it off without her.

Our experience with Copper Kitchen was incredible. They helped us with our wedding reception dinner and bar. The staff was extremely professional, kind. Everything was very well organized, cleaned and omg did it taste AMAZING. Our favorite part was the tasting. We loved it so much. The food is just incredible. From the apps, to the dessert. Very impressed. We worked with Kara and she was amazing. She helped us step-by-step and we are forever grateful. Copper Kitchen accommodates all food restrictions and their menu is endless!! I would highly recommend using them for weddings and other events!!

Copper Kitchen and Staff could not have done a more amazing job. From the food, to the bar to the staff, they anticipated every detail and did it perfectly. Tawni made the job of event planner look seem less and add in the fact that she served as all around wedding planner , well, you get so much more than you pay for. After having to change our wedding date three times... changing venues.... changing just about EVERYTHING- Copper Kitchen was the one constant through our entire wedding planning experience. The entire staff worked together flawlessly to execute a perfect day. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour (don't skip the donut burgers!!) and loved our entrees too. The bartenders hustled all night long and guests are still talking about how nice they were. We had a slight issue which was recognized the next morning, however I felt CK handled the situation correctly and all was resolved. Tawney, our coordinator, went ABOVE and beyond. She completely understood our over all vision and priorities for our wedding day. She helped to set up our personals, met with us when we had to change linens, and was extremely responsive. I truly trusted her to make decisions on my behalf and help keep me focused on my guests that evening. Without her, I am sure I would have needed to put out some fires- but thanks to Tawney I didn't even smell the smoke.

Where do I even begin?! Not only was the food DELICIOUS (ps, my guests are STILL talking about it over a week later), but the team was so thoughtful and attentive. I will never forget it when the manager came up to me during the reception and told me that she's rescuing me to make SURE I got some food in my belly. The food was amazing, the decor was STUNNING and the entire Copper Kitchen team was so accommodating to our quirky requests which included a custom Almond Joy Cake and a Pumpkin Spice Martini. If I could, I'd relive the night JUST to eat more of that amazing vegetarian shepherds pie.

Copper Kitchen’s food is AMAZING! We were so happy to use Copper Kitchen for our wedding day and everyone kept raving about how great the food and service was. We worked with Felicity throughout our planning process and she did a phenomenal job ensuring that everything was taken care of, timelines were precise and that the food delivered. Unfortunately because of COVID we weren’t able to have the charcuterie and crudité display as originally planned, but we were able to add more passed hors d’oeuvres and they were delicious. The service in terms of bartenders, kitchen staff, and servers was also out of this world and everyone was so friendly. We could not recommend Copper Kitchen enough!

Professional, easy to work with, food was BEYOND DELICIOUS (our guests are still raving), decorations were such a great touch and everything looked beautiful, they delivered everything we wanted and with such ease and no issues at all it almost felt unreal. Felicity is a great catering manager, extremely knowledgeable in the field and handled our wedding party's every move to the point that no one had to think about a thing, which is such a relief on such a stressful day! Highly recommend this team!

WOW!!! This food and service is out of this the world! Lisa was beyond nice and willing to work with me and make sure that I had my beyond perfect day. All my gas to this day still rave about the food and how fun and nice all the staff was. If you are looking a professional staff and know exactly what they are doing this is the catering company for you!

Deciding to trust Copper Kitchen to carry out our catering needs for our wedding reception, was a decision we didn’t take lightly, but we’re very happy we did! Copper Kitchen was the perfect choice. Jen was great at guiding us through the process of menu selection to the full execution of our vision. And we cannot fail to mention Michelle, our day-of personal Copper Kitchen attendant for lack of a better word. She literally found us, wherever we were, through out the evening to make sure that we had what we needed. If she spotted us with empty hands, she quickly came to fill them with a cocktail. The entire Copper Kitchen experience was extraordinary and surprisingly worth every penny.

Copper Kitchen was great to work with! They did an amazing job with the food (we still have people telling us 2 months later how delicious everything was!) They were also very responsive to emails and easy to work with. They did a great job working with our DOC to keep things on track and running smoothly the day of our wedding.

Jen from Copper Kitchen is such a delight to work with!! Not only was she so amazingly detailed, responsive, and flexible, she also had such great recommendations for rentals and spacing in our venue (Mt. Washington Dye House) as well as drink and food options for the season/ style of the event!! The food was absolutely incredible - we got so many guest compliments on the hors d'oeuvres, entrees, and the signature drinks!! To die for!! I'll also say that the styling looked incredible and the staff was super sweet and helpful!! Cannot recommend Copper Kitchen enough!!

Other than deciding to marry my husband, hiring Copper Kitchen was the best decision I made during the whole wedding planning process. We absolutely loved working with Amanda and Tawney from the beginning. The menu felt very personalized to us, and they were so helpful in accommodating our budget. We were planning our wedding long distance, but since Copper Kitchen had worked at our venue before, they were invaluable in planning all of the details. The food was incredible, and we got so many comments from our guests about how much they loved it. The service was fabulous and the presentation was stunning. I can't say enough about Copper Kitchen - they made the planning stress-free and the reception perfect!

Copper Kitchen has a wonderful staff and makes some incredible food. Our guests continue to tell us that the food they had at our wedding was the best they've ever had! One of the biggest hits was the brisket! What drove us to choose Copper Kitchen in the first place was the fact that they really listened to our vision and let us drive our own event (rather than some places that try to tell you what you should or should not do) and they were extremely creative on what we could do. We had the choice of two caterers and really liked the fact that catering is what they do, it's not just an extension of a restaurant. Biggest bummer is there aren't as many opportunities to eat their food! After our tasting, we were extremely excited (as was my family that got leftovers) because it was so good. On the day of, our guests were thrilled with everything! While a couple things didn't go as planned for us personally, they have worked to make it up to us which speaks to their integrity as a business. We appreciate the fact that they are so invested in making sure that everyone walks away from their experience with them as raving fans!

Our experience with Copper Kitchen was one we will never forget. From our first meeting, to the food tasting, through the end of our wedding, we were blown away by the love, care and dedication that these wonderful people put in to create an amazing experience. The team was so professional and an absolute delight to work with. They showed such attention to detail and beautifully accommodated our specific menu requests. Whatever questions we had were met with detailed answers and excellent suggestions. The attention we received at our wedding was second to none. We never looked for or needed a thing; someone was always there, whether it was getting a new drink, bringing hors d’ouvres to the bridal suite or making up a dessert plate for our table. Everything came together to create such a beautiful experience our wedding night. What really stuck out, after the food, drinks, decorations and details, was how kind everyone was. The servers met our guests with warm smiles. They were prompt and courteous and sincere. The whole team was. We are so happy we chose Copper Kitchen for our wedding.

My husband and I hired Copper Kitchen to cater our wedding at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House in August 2018. We were absolutely thrilled with this choice! From the very beginning, Jen, our catering manager, was lovely to work with and answers all of our questions with timeliness and professionalism. From our first email inquiry way back in January, to all the phone calls/emails over the spring, to the amazingly memorable tasting (I'll dream about that risotto and lambchetta for my whole life!), to the actual wedding day, we couldn't have asked for a more amazing (and tasty!) day. From the very beginning of our wedding planning, it was really important to my spouse and I to have top-notch local food at our wedding. We don't splurge on much in our lives, but we do value a good meal and drink -- so this was non-negotiable on our big day. Copper Kitchen totally knocked it out of the park and our guests literally can't stop talking about it (especially all the freshly made breads!). We had two speciality drinks and the craft beverage package which was perfect. For our appetizers we chose the empanadas, the traditional spring rolls and the crab salad chips. We also had a carving station with beef, lamb and fresh rolls and sauces, which was a huge hit! For dinner we had the burrata salad, a choice of the cuban chicken/pink peppercorn salmon/veggie pot pie, smashed potatoes and green beens. For dessert we chose hazelnut brownies, cheesecake bars and peach crumble bars. Everything was excellent! Really, I'm so sad you guys don't have a restaurant -- we would totally be regulars! We also used Copper Kitchen for all of our linens, table ware and silverware. As you can see, the table setting was lovely! We are pretty darn pleased with our big day with Copper Kitchen :)

Food was phenomenal. Presentation is gorgeous and all the servers were very professional. People were raving about every course from cocktail hour to late night food. They are pricey but it's worth it if you're a foodie and want to highlight that at your wedding like we did.

I cannot say enough about Copper Kitchen. The staff were all super accommodating and the food was fantastic! It was exactly what we were looking for. So many options for our guests to choose from and everyone kept complimenting us throughout the night of how good the food was. We also chose to go with a small ceremonial cake since we decided to have a dessert bar too. The staff made our plates for us so we didn't have to go through the buffet line, they kept our drinks full, kept asking if we needed anything, and made our tables look beautiful with the linens and our centerpieces. They even let me drop off all our ceremony and reception extras (photo booth stuff, centerpieces, etc), and they kept it in their own house until the wedding day! We were so happy we went with them.
