Crazy Good Eats is an excellent place to get food through. We recently got married and having Crazy Good Eats was such an awesome experience.
When we first went to taste-test the food, we met Bruce, the owner, who was going to guide us through the process. Let me tell you that Bruce is an honest, forthright person and that he will make sure you understand what your options are, why he suggests certain choices, and how the cost will be figured.
The taste test was amazing. Instead of small bits of food, Crazy Good Eats provided what essentially was multiple meals for us to try everything as if we had ordered to eat normally. Each item was described, explained, and there was no rush to eat it all. Instead, once we were done trying one plate, it was boxed up and prepared as leftovers for after the taste test.
Bruce went through all the details, down to the style of plates he used and why he did it, the size of the plate, the way they calculated the amount of sides and meat, and other parts of the meal. When we asked if we could make sure everything was gluten-free because members of our family had Celiac disease, he assured us that it would be no issue, noted options that would not be available based on that restriction, and offered that if we like something, he would make a single serving to bring to our table directly.
Bruce was amazing to work with that day, and that is what sold us on ordering through Crazy Good Eats. When he noticed an issue between his expectations and the venues, he quickly let us know so we could resolve it and easily get a hold of and handle that problem in a timely manner.
The day of Bruce was on the ball. We had all of our guests served and happily fed within an hour, with seconds! While we ordered food for 140, people that had sudden conflicts reduced the total attendance to around 125. Despite this, we only had 2 medium containers of leftovers for the night. The best way to tell if the food was good is by what is leftover, and very little was left. Guests have contacted us to figure out where to go to eat Crazy Good Eats outside of our wedding, showing us that we found a gem of a caterer. The price was also very fair and affordable.
Bruce clearly wanted what was best for us the day of, doing everything he could ahead of time to ensure that we would be happy the day of. We cannot recommend Crazy Good Eats enough, they have excellent food and service, with a down-to-earth and honest owner that lays things out plainly and in an easy-to-understand way. You cannot go wrong with having Crazy Good Eats cater your event.
