From the moment we stepped foot in Crest Hollow CC in October of 2020, we were treated like nothing short of Royalty. In the heart of Covid, while wedding venues everywhere were closed or laying off staff, we decided to travel to Long Island from Westchester to view some venues. We arrived to Crest Hollow, were greeted kindly & asked to wait in the lobby while our salesperson finished up his tour of another couple. We were given freshly baked snacks by the incredible Chef & refreshments as we waited. Shortly thereafter, Henry, who is typically on the operations team, saw us waiting & immediately offered to show us the property. While the kindness of every staff member we met, as well as the beauty of the grounds spoke for itself, Henry's natural hospitality, knowledge of the events process from start to finish, patience & flexibility displayed on that first day, left not a doubt in my mind, as the bride-to-be, that this was the place my husband & I were meant to celebrate our wedding. Despite seeing many other venues, and having another venue tour scheduled for later that afternoon, my mind was made up. We returned to Crest Hollow, worked out some logistics, & booked our event. Prior to leaving, we specifically requested to the Director of Operations that Henry work our event.
Every vendor that we hired was a direct recommendation of the venue & Henry took the time to give an overview of each specific vendor. After hearing what our vision was, he helped us narrow it down to the best vendors to fit our preferences. He would check-in on us every month or so just to see how we were doing and to answer any questions we may have had. At one point, as Covid impacted our jobs, the finance department worked with us to ensure we were comfortable with a suitable payment plan, and Henry checked on us until he knew we were on the other side of that challenging time.
The number of stories I could share about the level of service leading up to our wedding is countless. Needless to say, as the wedding grew closer, & final planning meetings came to a close, I knew that with the team of vendors I had hired, as well as the close care provided by Henry & the staff at Crest Hollow, that our wedding day was in the best hands. Never in my life did I think I would be so calm on the day so many little girls dream about since they were kids. We arrived at the venue after our church ceremony, we were immediately greeted at the door of our vehicle by our AMAZING bridal attendant, Karen, as well as our fabulous maitre d', Al. They brought us & our bridal party to the suite and provided refreshments. They immediately welcomed & provided cocktails to any guests who arrived early & made them comfortable prior to beginning our NEXT LEVEL cocktail hour 30 minutes early. Our guests have not stopped talking about how "you haven't been to a cocktail hour until you've experienced that one". They raved over the feeling of being in the Caribbean as they sat poolside enjoying their amazing & endless food. The reception blew them away equally as much. The food. The bartenders (& the drinks). The aesthetic of the reception space. The day could not have gone smoother.
The communication Crest Hollow staff has with their recommended vendors is next to none. There was no room for error in this amazing day. The staff at CHCC is elite & I would redo this day a million times & change NOTHING. If you're considering Crest Hollow for your wedding, look no further.
