We are a small, family-owned, specialty cake bakery that serves the Lehigh Valley area of PA. We specialize in wedding cakes and hand-made sugar flower art. All of our cakes are baked from scratch, using high-quality ingredients and our own family recipes. We have won the The Morning Call's READERS' CHOICE AWARD 4 years in a row for Best Wedding Cakes - 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021; and, we are the preferred baker for many of the popular Lehigh Valley wedding venues. Known for our hand-crafted sugar flowers and our extremely detailed work, we pay close attention to elements such as color matching, fine piping details, textures, and hyper-realistic floral art. Also, we are comfortable creating both buttercream and fondant cakes. We know that planning a wedding involves scheduling lots of vendor meetings and appointments, and this can get overwhelming. Whether you are a local or an out-of-town couple, we make ordering your wedding cake an easy process. We offer "tasting boxes to go" (ordered via our website), so that you can sample our cakes on your own terms. And consultations can be conducted over the phone or via email, which enables us to be extremely flexible so that we can work with your schedule and find a time that works best for you. We love working with couples to design their dream cake - we'll take all the inspiration you can give us and channel that into a custom design that is the centerpiece of your reception. And if you're not quite sure what you'd like - maybe you are a bit indecisive - we are happy to help you narrow down what works best for your specific style and budget.

The cake tasting box was a phenomenal idea that Custom Cakes by Adele offers! It was nice and relaxing being able to enjoy the cake and fillings/icings at home and being able to do it slowly over the day. The box itself was super cute and we loved the added details of plates and utensils.
We had a 6 inch wedding cake (marble with strawberry jam filling), 72 Vanilla with Strawberry Jam cupcakes, and 72 Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcakes at our wedding. Adele beautifully arranged the cupcakes on the tiers I had provided. She also placed our cake topper which was super helpful for us! Her prices were very reasonable and comparable to other vendors we researched.
Our guests LOVED the cupcakes and are still talking about them!!

I live 2 hours away from Adele’s shop so doing a tasting was not possible for us because we were just too busy to drive up- so I was def worried about not being able to taste the cake before ordering but it came out not only beautiful but sooo ...

We had 6 different cakes and flavors (1 2-tier wedding cake, 1 groom's cake, and 4 other guest cakes), and our guests raved about each one. (The butter vanilla was my favorite!) The presentation was beautiful - her sugar fall leaves were absolutely stunning and so well done. It's over a month later, and we're still hearing great reviews from our guests. We inhaled our leftover cake within a week after our wedding. She was great with communication, helping explain everything, coming up with ideas, payments... just absolutely one of our favorite vendors of the day. You won't find better in the LHV! She included directions with our top tier for preservation/freezing also. We will definitely go back to her for future cake needs!
