all intimate ceremony and Dave & Florence made everyone, from 2 to 90 year olds, feel super comfortable. They were funny and very engaging with all of our guests. Most importantly, the photos turned out incredible! We’re not sure how they did it, but they captured every special moment without missing a beat. We’re so happy with their work, we’ll surely hire them again!

only are his photos of an amazing quality (I can zoom in and it’s STILL crisp and clear), but to say that he has the photographer’s “eye” is an understatement! I have never seen so many amazing wedding photos EVER!!! I am super self critical of myself and even I love the photos I’m in!! I don’t like being the center of attention, but he and his wife made my husband and I feel so comfortable taking photos! We have a family member that loves taking professional photos as a hobby and sometimes you can tell that the hired photographers tend to get annoyed when family members also try to take their own photos during the couple photo sessions, but Dave and his wife were so understanding and accepting of it! I have never seen someone handle that situation with such patience and class. I didn’t realize how that situation could cause anxiety and/or tension between the bride, groom, and the family member, but because Dave and his wife were so understanding about it, we never had to have that awkward moment (which I am beyond thankful)! When my husband and I got married, we flew out to our honeymoon the following day. About 4 days after our wedding night, Dave contacted us and emailed us some “sneak peek” wedding photos! We were so happy to be able to view some wedding photos while on our honeymoon!! We also got to use some of those photos to send out our wedding thank you cards to our wedding guests! 6-7 weeks after our wedding, we got all of our 1040 photos back!!! They are amazing photos!! They really did a great job!!! If you want exceptional photographs of your wedding, you will definitely want to hire Dave and his wife!!! I highly recommend Dave Yip Photography!!

We requested he come back and capture our Winter Solstice Wedding Ceremony at the First Congressional Church, the Chapel and moonlit shot kissing my newly wed wife will resonate in our home on the walls for years to come. ry fun. I was nervous about taking pictures because I thought it would be awkward but it was not like that at all ! It was completely natural and they were able to guide us the whole time. They gave us great poses, kept us entertained and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed taking pictures. If you’re looking for a photographer I HIGHLY recommend Dave and his team!

me and my now wife were never the selfie type, we are more passive in taking pictures with ourselves in it, unless family and friends are involved. So we didn’t really know what to expect besides what’s on the market. We did some research on the overall style and feel that we were looking for and try to find a photographer that matches our expectations. We found Dave and his portfolio is AMAZING!! We instantly fell in love with his style, elegant and grand. So we contacted Dave about our interests, gave him a general idea of the style and feel we wanted without making any location reservations, and had a few short conversations to finalize ideas, but then that was it. On the day of the engagement shoot, we kind of expected long gruesome hours of standing around, shivering in the cold due to an overcasting weekend, awkward silences with the photographer & associates, and things that are meant to cater to the photographer for such a HIGH LEVEL of photography. But our expectations were shattered, we did not imagine the process was so easy-going, fun, short and sweet, and A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Not only did Dave know exactly where we should stand and how we should pose to get the effects we expected, he made this process very fast and enjoyable with tons of laughs. Maybe it’s just me, but by the time we were finished, I’d actually wanted to take more photos. Soon after the shoot, Dave sent us the unedited photos and they were INCREDIBLE, the composition, the angles, the style and feel were just what we wanted! Before the shoot, we didn’t know what we wanted, but now the bar is set, and is now set quite high. The pure photography skills and experience that Dave have are…. WHOA! Needless to say, the post-processed photos are Perfect! We love them and couldn’t wait to share them with our friends and family.
