I am so blessed to have had David capture our wedding! Him and his wife were a remarkable team and so professional! He has an amazing eye for the important details and an exquisite way to capture details normally ignored... I even had a rainbow in my video! He listened to all my notes of specifics but his way of capturing is so timeless, romantic, and just tugs at our heart and our guests heartstrings. I have nothing negative to say and I highly recommend to all brides and Grooms seeking a Cinematographer!! He definitely knows how to make a great movie... and is well skilled and worth every penny!! The process leading up to the wedding was easy and day of the wedding David worked with our photographer to get the best shots. The products David provided I will treasure forever! A 4 min highlight video of the wedding and a 48 min video of our whole ceremony and highlighting the reception. I would recommend David Salebe Films to anyone!!

We were absolutely blown away by his superior quality, speedy communication, and offerings. By far, David provided the most offerings (8+ hours of coverage, full-length wedding film, highlights reel, Instagram cut video) for such an affordable price. The quality of the footage and cuts would merit a cost 2x of what he charged! David was so kind and friendly, seamlessly working with our photographers in such an organized and professional manner. Blending into the background, you barely noticed that David was filming...but he captured such candid moments on our wedding day. Truly, we are so fortunate to have worked with David. If you are doing a wedding in the DC area, you MUST work with David. 11/10 would recommend.

David and JP were great!! The video came out really well and he was willing to fix a minor music issue quickly. The video felt authentic, and we were not interrupted by cameras and posing throughout the day, which was nice! David was easy to work with.

My husband and I got married last June and David was our videographer. He did an excellent job communicating leading up to the big day and was very prompt and professional the day of. He also worked wonderfully with my photographer. It's very important that your photographer and videographer can work together for all those important moments! He had great packages that worked for different budgets, so while we did add him at the last minute, the end result is worth it! He also has drone capability which can really add to a video. David was professional, personable, and worked great with our photographer. He was clear with what he needed from us during the process before, during and after the ceremony without ever getting in the way. The feature film and highlights he produced had our parents crying all over again- so I count that as a win!

I had a hard time trying to justify the expense of a videographer...I thought all I really needed was the photographer to take a few pictures of us and then maybe a video of the ceremony...I'm not super fancy and I didn't have the biggest budget...but I'm telling you, I'm so glad I hired David!! How could I have ever known how much we needed what David created for us!! There is so much that happens on your wedding day that you don't get to see - the groom getting ready, your family gathering, the groomsmen picking on your groom, things happening behind the scenes, things happening right in front of you that you're too busy to see....and of course, your groom doesn't get to see you doing any of those things either... There is so much emotion that isn't captured in pictures...I had two photographers who were EXCELLENT, truly AMAZING photographers, but there were still moments that David was able to capture that I didn't have in photos and having the video helps capture the emotion and a period of time, not just the snapshot. What he made for us is a cinematic marvel - I won't be able to do it justice in this review, but it's absolutely beautiful. The moments he captured, the story he tells through the way he edited pieces together, the close up shots I had no idea he was taking, the music he selected to help tell the story...I'm in awe of how beautiful everything looks. It's like Hollywood perfection that makes me bawl like a baby every time I watch it. So, if you're like me, you're on a budget and you think, "do I really need this?" YES! You don't know how much you really do!! Everyone tells you that your wedding will fly by...you will try and pause and take in the moments, but it's just a few hours and then it's over. Invest in your marriage and get the video, watch it on each anniversary, and use it to fall deeper in love every year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ What I love about David: He did a fabulous job and worked under the radar. I was fearful that I was going to have to "recreate" shots for him and that it would take away from my day...he captured everything like a fly on the wall. Also, he was quite a trooper when I asked for edits (a few times) and he worked very quickly to change out a music selection or to add in more shots of our family portrait session. He was calm, kind, professional, and really did a fabulous job!! What I love about my video: ~35 min long, it begins with drone footage of our venue playing to a beautiful song that sets the mood. It moves to the two of us getting ready and captures the emotion of our nervous anticipation and excitement with beautifully edited pan and close up shots. He captures so much emotion in our first look. We look stiff in our photos being too careful trying not to mess up our outfits or my makeup, but he was able to capture our flirtation and reverence for one another. It includes my entire ceremony with my ceremony musician, the officiant and the groom all mic'd, so audio is captured well. We have all the toasts, cake cutting, first and parents dances - which were captured in true cinematic style, swirling around us to convey an emotional plateau at just the right moments (like catching me shed a tear dancing w/ my dad)- a super cool edit of our guests dancing at the reception & really great footage of our sparkler exit. Our Highlight video is about 6 min and contains simply the best elements of the above.

David was incredible to work with!! We were on the fence about hiring a videographer but we are so happy we did. The video is a memory that will stay with us for a lifetime and we both love that it has clips of speeches from our parents. David was responsive and professional during the booking process. He was clear with what services he offered and honest about how long things take. On the actual wedding day, David was a joy to work with! He was self sufficient. During the getting ready process, I noticed he put different detail shots together on his own to ensure he got the perfect shot. He was assertive without being invasive. He did such a beautiful job of capturing organic moments and my husband and I really appreciate that. The video itself is amazing! David is great at putting the day together and making the story make sense. We love that we have this video to look back it for years :) When he sent us the first video we wanted to add a clip to the highlights reel and change the song. David did this with pleasure and it really made a difference for us! David is the perfect addition to any wedding day!

David Salebe was wonderful to work with on our recent April 2019 wedding, and we are so grateful for his skill in capturing our wedding day and memorializing it so that we will never forget. David was also very receptive to our feedback on the highlight and feature wedding videos to help create shorter clips of the day that we could keep and watch more frequently than the entire day-long footage. We highly recommend him for your future wedding or other event!

David was nice to work with but we didn't think the video quality was worth more than $3000. The video was not 4K (just not sharp or bright), took more than 3 months to edit, we weren't asked of music choices, and we just didn't like it. I am sure he does good jobs with other people, but I do regret spending that much money for the video.

David did an amazing job capturing our wedding. Not only did he get some amazing shots, but he also captured the spirit of our wedding in a wonderful way. I can't watch our video without smiling (and crying, and laughing...). He is fantastic to work with, was very flexible with our busy schedules, and was very responsive to every question and request we had. Truly one of the easiest and best decisions we made for our wedding.

Can't believe I didn't write a review for David! My fault! Anyways, David was absolutely amazing!!! My husband really wanted a videographer, and he told me this, a month before our wedding! So We scrambled to find someone within our budget and available at such a short notice. David really worked with us, when we were conversing pricing and our budget, which we were super grateful for. He was highly professional and caught all the great moments. He literally was so amazing., the video was beautiful, I cried all over again and was able to send it to our family in Oklahoma to see our big day. Thank you David!

Our experience with David was an excellent one! He is a great videographer and an even better professional. The most important things for a videographer to have are good timing and good ideas. David is like a ninja. He comes and goes silently and, if you weren't paying attention, you would never know he was there. Aside from the big moments, there were times when I was joking around with my groomsmen and, from the corner of my eye, I could see David there getting all of it. It's candid moments like these that, at the time aren't necessarily very memorable, but definitely make a finished video shine. Whenever I looked around and thought "I wonder what this would look like from a third person view", David was there capturing it. During the times David makes his presence known, he offers many creative ideas. During cocktail hour, the bridesmaids and groomsmen took turns taking photos. While the bridesmaids were getting their photos taken, David did not stand idly by. After he captured some footage of them, he walked over and asked us to do several actions while he would walk around us capturing every moment. When it was the groomsmen's turn to take photos, I could see that he was doing the same for the bridesmaids, but with different actions. David is very dedicated to doing an excellent job. We were running behind schedule by almost an hour at the reception, yet David stayed the extra time to make sure that he captured all the big moments. Had he left at the moment the contract said he could leave, he would have missed the parent/child dance and cake cutting. However, he insisted on being there to capture it all. David is very professional and easy to communicate with. He personally worked with us to come to a price and plan that we all could be satisfied with. If you're still unsure of which videographer you want, let your hesitation stop here. You've found the right one.

Hands down the best!!! I worked with David via email from my initial search. I did everything through email. I was a little nervous and was hoping that I didn't get "catfished" and I am so glad I made the decision to book him. My husband (fiance at the time) didn't understand the reason for a videographer and a photographer. He didn't want it. I booked it anyway and told him later!! He wasn't happy. But when we received the final result he was over the moon happy. He said I am so glad you got the videographer. Pictures are beautiful but it doesn't tell the story that the video does. David and his assistant (I forgot his name), were so professional. They fit right in with everyone. They caught the best moments. Especially the moments that weren't supposed to be caught!!! When we first started looking for a videographer we weren't sure if it was something we wanted to do because of how expensive it can be. Luckily we found David and we are so happy that we did. He was by far the most budget friendly videographer and the final product was extremely well done and of the highest quality! On our wedding night he stayed out of the way but he was able to capture all the highlights and best moments of our wedding night. He was great to work with and very responsive to his emails.
