Davoli’s Catering DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We had tried another catering place prior to coming here and it was a nightmare. Tori was amazing in communicating with us so QUICK! We had our food tasting today and I took off work and drove 2 hours and it thank god it was not a waste of time. The owner was so nice and great company he explained everything very clearly. The food was the selling point and my fiancé’s only request with the wedding was the food to be 5 stars. I can’t wait to have them catering my wedding because the food was to die food and 10/10 delicious.

Great food, excellent service

Our wedding was on 10.2.22 in Nocatee. Working with Davolis was very easy from day 1. The food tasting experience was delicious, which was the 1st sign that we had made the right choice. Fast forward a few months later and when it was showtime, the Davolis team did a FABULOUS job! The food was delicious (our guests were super happy) and the whole service was great! From the bar service all the way to the staffing, everyone was so nice, polite and on point! Thank you sooo much for making our big day so much more enjoyable! Fred was everything we could’ve dreamed of for our caterer. Davoli’s food was a hit at our wedding and we’re so happy we chose them to cater the food. From our first tasting until the days following the wedding, Fred made us feel like we were family and he treated us as such. His honesty and friendliness reassured that we could trust him with one of the most important parts of our wedding day. If I were to design my wedding day over again from scratch, Davoli’s would be a constant and we know it’d be a hit every time. Thank you again Mr. Davoli for going above and beyond.

Amazing food and service. Out of 100 guests, there was not an empty plate in the house. Every bite was delicious. Easy to work with and very professional. Cannot recommend them enough.

All I had ever heard about Davolis was good things.. every time their name was mentioned the response that followed was “oh I love davolis” or “davolis is the best”, and I couldn’t help but wonder if that was too good to be true. How could everyone love this Caterer?! well I am here to tell you that I love Davolis and they are the BEST. Fred was so responsive and was able to answer all of our questions. He made the process so simple. There aren’t any hidden things, no surprises. What you see is what you get with Davolis. On top of everything the food is DELICIOUS. We had so many options for our guests all while remaining within our budget, which might I add was completely respected by Fred who never tried to push us out of our budget. The staff was professional, and kind enough to set aside appetizers for myself and my groom while we took our post ceremony photos. If you are debating on whether or not to choose this caterer, just go for it. You won’t regret it.

Honestly the fact that three days after my wedding I’m still eating and LOVING my leftover wedding food says something. Davoli’s is very professional and makes the tastiest food. I’m so grateful that they catered my wedding.

Highly recommend! Everything from contacting, the owners, the chef, the servers, and the food were BEYONG FANTASTIC! They were in time to my wedding very professional and everyone was really sweet. I loved everything about this catering company and will definitely use them again.

The food was incredible. The staff excellent. Guests could not stop talking about how good the food and service was. We had passed appetizers and a dinner buffet for 150 wedding guests. Mr. Davoli was the nicest person to work with. He always had the best interest of the couple in mind and wanted to make sure they had everything they wanted. We had last minute changes to the menu due to some allergies and it was not a problem at all. The pricing is very reasonable and its upfront, no hidden fees and charges. I cannot thank Mr, Davoli and his staff enough for everything they did to make my daughters wedding everything she wanted. We will use them anytime we need catering for any event and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer.

Fred and his staff are nothing if not accommodating. His only wish is to make sure your wedding is exactly as you hoped it would be. We selected to have our food plated and served as well as a full bar staff.

Davoli’s catering’s food and service are par excellence! Our guests raved about dinner. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Davoli he is a very honest and sweet gentleman! Catering seemed like it would be a daunting task for a wedding but Mr. Davoli made it easy and affordable!

Stop looking for a caterer and book Davoli’s now! I cannot begin to tell you how blown away my husband and my parents and I were after having Davoli’s cater my wedding. We had a tasting with Mr. Davoli and everything we tried was delicious. My husband and I are very particular about food and are not often impressed by food at weddings. We felt very confident that Davoli’s Catering would deliver the service and food that we were hoping for. Boy were we impressed! We had swordfish bites, meatballs, bacon wrapped scallops, crab cakes and tomato bisque shooters with mini grilled cheeses. We have had our guests tell us that they were standing by the kitchen so they could load up on these delicious apps haha. For dinner, we had a salad station, short rib with cheesy grits, baked lemon grouper with veggies, and chicken marsala with mashed potatoes. WOW. We have had guests tell us that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Especially the fish! Our guests are still raving about the fish! Mr. Davoli made it a point to be at our wedding and we so appreciate him! His staff was super friendly and interactive with our guests (multiple friends and family have commented on how wonderful they all were). Davoli’s staff helped my parents with extra clean up and we are beyond thankful for how wonderful they were to us. Hands down best decision for our wedding. You won’t go wrong with choosing Davoli’s! I’m so glad we did.

Davoli's Catering DID NOT disappoint! Our tasting was so good that I did not need to look elsewhere for our wedding. We had an extravagant layout for our cocktail hour with fruit towers that were dreamy. Our passed appetizers were delicious and Fred and his team were so cooperative and willing to make adjustments to make us happy on our big day :) Our sit down dinner was surf and turf and it was delicious and came out hot despite the lack of a real kitchen at our venue!! We also included a mash potatoes bar at each table that was really fun, interactive and unique!! Dessert was amazing too, not to mention our bananas foster action station that was to die for!!!! Everything was so tasty and delicious. Love, love, love Davoli's Catering - you should book them now!!

If you are looking for a wedding caterer you can stop... choose Davoli's! They were receptive and accommodating to our (many) requests and the food was absolutely amazing! Their prices for wedding events are unbeatable, and Fred goes above and beyond to make sure the wedding couple isn't worrying about a thing on their best day ever. The head chef and staff were all so courteous and made sure that my husband and I were able to enjoy both the appetizers and meal to the fullest. To top it off they sent us home with all of the leftovers, so we got to enjoy round 2 the next day with our families before leaving for our honeymoon.

From the moment I met Fred, I knew I wanted to book Davoli’s for our wedding! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! From our tasting all the way to the wedding day, there was no doubt that he truly cared about us. We used Davoli’s for both the rehearsal and the wedding. The food was AMAZING! Highly recommend Davoli's Catering!! I hired them for my wedding on 3/23/19 and they did not disappoint. They put together a beautiful cocktail hour fruit and cheese table. Dinner was phenomenal for a buffet with crab stuffed grouper and chicken picata as the main dishes my guests could not get enough. Fred was wonderful to work with!

FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! Mr. Davoli was recommended to us by a friend who had used his catering company for her daughters birthday. Davoli's has different dinner options to choose from at different price points depending on what your budget is - we decided to go with the buffet option for our wedding. Food did not disappoint - my parents were being skeptical (as they always are) and was worried that the tasting they did would not match the quality when the day of the wedding actually came. To their surprise, the food was just as impressive as when they first tasted it! From the feedback we received from some of our guests, food was delicious! Something to note - they do not provided linens for the dinner, which makes sense as the linens typically correlate to the color theme of the wedding. I definitely recommend Davoli's Catering. They were easy to work with and got the job done. We are satisfied customers!!

All of my guests were extremely satisfied with their food and service. They provided more than enough food at a high quality. Davoli's also ensured that my husband and I were able to have some of the hors d’oeuvres served during the cocktail hour since we were busy taking pictures. Additionally, Mr. Davoli is very personable and truly wants the best for each wedding and couple. You can't go wrong with Davoli's!

My name is Shaquira Littlejohn and my brother got married this past October in the 27th. The food was exceptionally well and hot. One of the 3 meats served was cream of mushroom chicken, mixed veggies, and Garlic mash potatoes. This combination was to die for. The wedding was held at the Treasury on the Palace in St.Augustine Fl. Great 👍🏿 caterer and awesome food. I will be booking Me. Davolli’s catering for my wedding in July, 2019.

Mr. Davoli is the sweetest! I loved working with him! He really put my mind at ease with everything. Mr. Davoli is very professional and knows his stuff. He really aims to please his customers and does a wonderful job. He was able to squeeze me in during the holidays for a tasting as I live out of state and wanted to get the tasting done while I was home visiting. He was able to accommodate me and I greatly appreciated it. We loved the food and so did our guest. They were raving about how delicious is was and how plentiful. Mr. Davoli was wonderful in every way! His food is incredibly delicious. My guests were raving about the food all night. Mr. Davoli was incredibly kind and accommodating, always willing to answer questions for us, and provided a lovely night for a tasting with our friends. Mr. Davoli was awesome from beginning to end. My husband and I met with him for a food tasting. He made us feel so welcomed. When he came over and joined us at the table was the best part because we had a wonderful conversation. Once in the car my husband and I both agreed we were sorry the tasting was over because we really enjoyed him. The food was good. We had the salad, stuffed chicken breast, roasted beef, garlic mashed potatoes abd the roasted vegetables. The salad was outstanding. They make their dressing in house and they were delicious. My favorite was the roast beef it was so tender. The chicken was good but I love red meat. His wait staff was so professional and accommodating. One of the lady's went beyond what she had to and assisted my bridesmaids with bustling my dress so I could get back out to the reception. Mr. Davoli is a very hands on caterer. I thought the staff would be the ones to deliver the food. He was at the reception ensuring everything was perfect. The fruit montage tree was beautiful. The fruits were fresh and sweet. Normally, wedding food is just OK. This food was really good. So good several guests went back for a second helping. We were very pleased with Mr. Davoli and his staff and the service they provided us.

I love Fred! He is amazing an person from the time we had our first tasting all the way up to my wedding day! He made sure everything was set! The whole staff was amazing! I was married on 4/21/18! We couldn’t have had a better caterer! We truly were very happy! If anyone ever asks me for a caterer I will proudly say Davolis!! Thank you again Fred and to your staff! They were completely wonderful!! I am sorry for the delay review as I just saw I can review my vendors!

Fred was amazing from start to finish of our wedding! We had such a delicious spread for the buffet at our wedding and he also catered a BBQ at our hotel the next day and even included some of my favorite foods by request :). He was professional, kind, and even helped out a ton with renting out extra chairs and tables since we were having our wedding at a nontraditional wedding venue. Davolis made the whole process much easier than I ever imagined and everyone raved about the food, not to mention it was very reasonably priced! I made sure to get a full plate for myself even though I was told I had to go mingle! So delicious! Thanks again Fred!

Although we didn't get to enjoy much food on our wedding day (too busy seeing all our guest), every one was sure to tell us how great the food was. In fact, we often heard "by far the best food we've ever had at a wedding". Even the next day, the left overs we're incredible! Fred Davoli catered our daughter's wedding. From the first phone call, to the time the last guest left the reception, Davoli's catering met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. They are so professional, warm, helpful and service oriented. All the services were outstanding. Fred Davoli attempts to meet every request. The food is delicious and has a beautiful presentation. His prices are reasonable and he provides quality, fresh and delicious food. All of our guests were impressed with the appetizers, salad and entrees. His staff is quick, efficient and friendly. We would recommend Davoli Catering without reservation. They provided professional and excellent service; a top shelf organization.

Davoli's catered my daughter's wedding this December. Fred was so nice to work with, easy to reach by phone, and so very helpful with all our questions. Weddings are his specialty., you can tell he really loves what he does. We had a buffet that was fabulous and he worked with us to stay in our budget making it even better and less stressful. Everyone loved the food and the appetizer table was beautifully presented even better than we anticipated. I would highly recommend Davoli's for all you catering needs. Ask for Fred he will make it happen.

Brides Beware! Save yourself the hassle and headache of dealing with this catering company it’s not worth the stress. I wish I had seen the other negative reviews before even dealing with Davoli’s. Scroll all the way down and see how his treatment of other brides was nearly identical to my own. DO NOT let the cheap prices fool you, you get what you pay for! Luckily I was able to afford to not deal with the owner’s arrogant attitude. My experience with Davoli’s Catering was absolutely abysmal. As one of the recommended caterers from my venue I checked out their website and was quite pleased with the pricing. Upon initial contact he was very responsive and then suddenly his emails seemed fewer and far between. I understand that wedding vendors typically have other gigs so I shrugged it off as not important. I ultimately decided to go with another caterer for my wedding but still reached out to Davoli’s to cater our welcome party. At his prompting he scheduled a tasting and said we can complete the contract then. I am an out of town bride so my family and I scheduled our travel to Jacksonville and made arrangements for the tasting and to sign a contract. Day’s before the tasting I sent him an email requesting an address and he didn’t respond, I should have known not to trust him then. The morning of the tasting he had his assistant email me requesting for me to call him. I called him and he informed me that the tasting would be cancelled due to a last minute corporate event. He said, “I love my brides but corporations pay my bills” upset at the change of plans I respectfully got off the phone. My wedding planner then called him to ask if other arrangements could be made as it was several hours before the tasting was to begin and he flat out told her no and then began to argue with her. He had the gall to follow up via email bashing my wedding planner and asking if he could still cater the party. Not wanting to pass up on a deal I decided not to let their issue turn into my own. I followed up with the owner Fred Davoli who neglected to respond to multiple emails. I am a professional so I called him on the phone only for him to continue his arrogant rude behavior. He flat out said, “ I didn’t want to respond to your emails because I don’t like your wedding planner” He was upset with her because he couldn’t honor his commitment. Wanting nothing more to do with him I let him know that we would not be needing his services and told him that I would be warning other brides of his unprofessional behavior. He sent me an email telling me he would see me in court. I guess he plans on suing me for this review but I am undeterred by his actions and threats. I want everyone who plans on using this caterer to know the truth about him. Fred Davoli does not honor his commitments and will get loud and rude with you over the phone if he doesn’t agree with you when he’s in the wrong. Again, future brides save yourself the trouble and learn from my experience.

Fred Davoli did an amazing job catering our wedding. He is so easy to work wiith, responsive, accommodating, and professional. At our tasting I new the food would not dissapoint. We had so many compliments on our food. The food was absolutely amazing! His pricing is so affordable and he was able to obtain bar service for us as well! The service was great and he even stopped in prior to the wedding to congratulate us during our pictures. I would highly recommend Davoli's Catering!

Davoli's catered my Son's wedding 4/20/13 in Ormond Beach. What an awesome experience! From day one that I met with Fred to plan the menu to the time the last plate was picked up at the reception, there were no surprises. I cannot say enough about the staff, on time, professional, polite from set up to clean up. I also use Davoli's for all my business events as I am the Event coordinator with my company. Once again, every event has been a success. Guest rave about the food. There is never a shortage and the cost is so reasonable. I recommend Davoli's to all my friends and business acquaintances. Our caterer was awesome! They had a large selection of options for dinner and it was hard to choose what we wanted. They do a tasting for you for the whole meal you will be having and they give you the leftovers! On our wedding day they were all very professional and easy to work with. Even though we had a buffet style during dinner, they offered to serve us and we took them up on it and just relaxed at our table. We had to wait a while for our food for some reason, they probably got backed up or busy but it took a little bit longer than we were told to get our meal. Not a big deal though. One thing we were confused about was they took away all of the water, tea, and lemonade after dinner was served. We had alcohol at our wedding so after they removed their drinks, the alcohol was all that was left. That was something we didn't know would be happening - I guess we though the water at least would be kept out all night but guess not. Other than that, everything went well. They corked our wine bottles and cut our cake as well. Fred was nice to work with and the value was great, as well as the food.

I met with Mr. Fred Davoli four months before my wedding. After our sit down conversation, we were excited with the many options available. We went with the Platinum Buffet which included the cocktail hour. Mr. Davoli walked us through the menu step-by-step making modifications as we went along. The food was the talk of the night! I have received so many compliments on the seafood and the mashed potato bar! My husband and I never had to ask for anything. The servers constantly checked on us and made us feel special. My mom and dad do not drink alcohol, so it was nice the bartender constantly hand delivered special non-alcoholic drinks to them directly. I cannot say enough about the food, the service and the overall experience the Davoli Team provided to us on our special day. We never had to ask for anything, the bartender and servers were on top of everything. Simply Amazing!

Right after my then-fiance and I first met owner Fred Davoli of Davoli's Catering and tasted their food at the tasting, we knew that that's who we wanted to cater our wedding. They did not disappoint to say the least! They were AMAZING and went above and beyond what we could have asked for in a wedding caterer, both in regards to the food and the service they provided! The amount and SUPERB quality of the food we got for the price was much better than we expected. Many of our guests commented to us both during and after the wedding how GREAT the food was, and some said it was the BEST food they've ever had at a wedding! Davoli and all of his staff were very professional but also friendly and kind. They did an awesome job with everything from preparing the food to serving the food to cutting and serving our wedding cake and providing bar service for wine, beer, & champagne. If you want GREAT, DELICIOUS food and OUTSTANDING & PROFESSIONAL service at your wedding, I would definitely recommend going with Davoli's Catering! My now-husband and I both believe we could not have asked for or picked a better wedding caterer!!

I have to brag on the caterer for my wedding! Davoli's Catering, based in Jacksonville, was AMAZEBALLS. Ladies, you will not find a better price, nor better food and customer service than Davoli's Catering. These people know how to put on the dog for your guests, and they are great to work with. Not one single guest went home hungry as the food was out of this world. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family. I am a chef, and pretty particular about food I serve my friends and family. Even though they had to travel over an hour to my venue, the food was fresh and cooked to my very exacting standards. I sincerely am looking forward, as is my new husband, to eating up the left overs they boxed up for us. As any good caterer will, they brought enough food to feed 20% more than I contracted them for in the event of last minute additions. We brought some with us for our wedding night, and even reheated in the microwave, it was still great. I cannot recommend Davoli's Catering highly enough. There was not one single thing, at all, that I would have improved upon. Their famous fruit and cheese montage was the hit of the cocktail hour, and my friends and family were simply wowed by the presentation and perfection of the fruits, served at the peak of ripeness. Not one single piece of fruit was underripe, nor over ripe. The roast sirloin and stuffed chicken breast were delectible. They were melt-in-your mouth tender. The seasonal vegetables were perfectly seasoned and still crisp and fresh. That is very difficult to achieve with squash and zuccini kept hot on a buffet. Again, I just can't say enough great things about Davoli's Catering.

Davoli's Catering did an amazing job for our wedding! Fred and all his staff were very helpful, accomodating, and friendly. Phone calls and emails were promtly attended to and they helped us create the perfect menu. The food was delicious and our guests loved it! We couldn't be happier with Davoli's Catering and cant wait to work with them again for another event!

Davoli's catered my wedding reception on 6/9/12 and I couldn't be more pleased. Davoli's catering was top notch. The staff was professional and the food was delicious. My husband and I were very impressed. Since the wedding I have had many people ask me who catered the event because they LOVED the food. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing a caterer for their event.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Davoli's Catering! My son was married on 4/22/12 and we hosted the reception in our home. Everyone LOVED the food! People who attended the wedding gave me such wonderful feedback about the food. The service, presentation and communication between us and the staff was superb! My husband and I do a lot of entertaining in our home and I will DEFINITELY be calling Davoli's Catering again. I have no hesitation recommending them for any event.
