Let me just start by saying that this review is LONG overdue. JR and his team made my husband and our wedding's dream come to LIFE! My short and sweet version of this review is that I could not have imagined a more beautiful day, and I am forever grateful for his passion and love of decor, family, and love. When I say that J.R. was made for this.. I mean that. He loves what he does, and his vision and passion are second to none. I spoke with a few decorators and linen providers, but none gave me the type of service that J.R. did. He takes the time to get to know YOU and what your dream is. He will take care of the rest. For my extended version of this review, keep on reading! I essentially was planning my own wedding, living in Orlando, working full-time (60 hours a week), but then frequenting back to Clearwater for wedding related activities on the weekends. To say my husband and I were exhausted is an understatement. I still don't know how we got through it all! My husband and I were vetting out vendors left and right. We still wanted a special and memorable day. And by golly we did it! J.R's Decoratively Speaking Events was on the vendor list of our venue, Kapok Tree Events Center & Gardens in Clearwater, FL, along with other names. Decoratively speaking was the second vendor regarding linens I reached out to, but upon our first on the phone meeting, I knew that he was the one to take my vision and make it a reality. We must have talked on the phone for over an hour! Knowing that he was a family person and thrived in his passion and business was all that I needed. We set up a face to face meeting at the Kapok Tree and started discussing ideas further. My mom joined my husband and I, and she is very traditional, and opinionated.. J.R. was able to "marry" my mom's traditional outlook with my modern and it all showed out on the wedding day. J.R. got to know me, my husband and my family and it was such a blessing. There were a few snafus here and there, but J.R. and his team were there for our rescue. J.R. and our venue Director and coordinator worked hand-in-hand to ensure that his team could set up everything that we needed before the wedding day, which made my scrambled brain more confident in their efforts to pull off such a beautiful wedding. Their communication was much needed, but knowing that they got along great put my crazy mind at ease. Thank you J.R. and the Decoratively Speaking team for taking the time to make our wedding dream a reality. We appreciate it so much!!!

JR and the Decoratively Speaking team are next level. They took our vision of "Christmas Magic" and "Winter Wonderland" for my client's holiday party and RAN WITH IT! They blew me away. Their professionalism, timeliness, and communication is top notch, but their decorating is even better! Their team TRANSFORMED a car dealership showroom into a stunning winter wonderland, with beautiful pipe and drape, perfect centerpieces and Christmas decor that would knock your socks off. JR heard our vision, ran with it, and OVER delivered! His passion and care for his customers and their vision is the best. I knew we were in safe hands, and you should too! I hired this 5 star wedding planner for my daughter's wedding on Dec 17. J.R and his team went above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend him highly. He worked with me to created a wonderful life time memory for my daughter and now son-law.

Phenomenal! JR is just phenomenal! He has such a beautiful and creative mind for decor it makes my recommendation of him so much easier. He created a beautiful 1920’s themed wedding decor for our bride and it was just breathtaking! I have no idea where he finds these unique and sometimes rare items, but he gets it done and with a bright smile on his face! I absolutely love working with him and he is the only person a recommend. Give JR a call before you do anything else first!

JR Navarro was an absolute pleasure to work with! I was blown away by his gorgeous decor at my rehearsal dinner for my wedding, as well as, the wedding reception. His attention to detail is unmatch and he is very detailed oriented and you can just tell that he has such a passion for his craft and he puts 110% of himself into every single detail. He is also very attentive and will communicate with and always cater to your needs.

J.R. was awesome. We gave him a general idea of what we wanted and he made it into something so much better. I had never even heard of dendrobium orchids (the blue/purple ones) before but they were absolutely perfect for our theme. We're even going to start ordering them at home simply because we like them so much. He's always available, very attentive, and definitely has an eye for making any venue pop with life. J.R. and his crew will do everything they can to make your wedding a dream to remember!

JR and his staff were absolutely AMAZING! Words cannot describe how blown away my husband and I were when we finally saw our decor. From our initial consultation all the way to the day of the wedding JR was extremely meticulous in planning every detail, color, shade, type of flower, linen, centerpiece,- you name it. We truly could not have picked a better person to dress our wedding. He always made us feel like his friend and not just another client. He made sure to contact us throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding and was always super easy to contact about questions, concerns, or even just pictures of ideas I had. He was very honest about working with our budget and about every selection we made but always found a way to make it work. He even created a personalized invitation souvenir for us to keep that we absolutely loved and are so thankful for. Sorry I took so long to write this review but if anyone is considering Decoratively Speaking as their decor vendor I would 100% recommend you go with them. You will not be disappointed!

JR is truly amaaaazing! You can trust his opinion and suggestions for sure. I can honestly say that he will make sure the bride and groom agree with everything (no matter who pays). The entire set up was perfect. All the flowers were stunning and in perfect condition. He sets up from the night before with an awesome crew. Another thing I appreciated was his communication all the time. He wanted to make sure the bride was good and relaxed during the entire process.
