Each space, from the Nicholson's Room to Rookwood, the Hearth, the Grille, the Atrium, and the Horse & Barrel, features a rustic, warm, and indulgent interior. I have been planning parties for deSha's for over 20 years, helping our guests make beautiful memories. In addition to my time at deSha's, I have helped plan parties at several of our other sister restaurants. One of my favorite things about being an event manager at deSha's is helping people take their ideas and creating their ideal event. At deSha's, we have the ability to plan small intimate events to fit your needs, such as bridal showers or bridesmaid luncheons. I also love doing larger events such as rehearsal dinners, post wedding brunches and wedding receptions.

DeShas is worth every penny. They have a great staff, fantastic food, and beautiful rooms. The servers also went above and beyond with accommodating our party needs day of. I definitely recommend using them for high end events.

We recently had a Rehearsal Dinner at DeSha's for 31 people. I was impressed with the professionalism and warmth of our servers.
We were about 30 minutes early, due to the Rehearsal running shorter than anticipated and the room was ready. They went ahead and sat us and asked if we wanted the appetizers served early.
Everything was great, I especially loved the parmesan crusted fish and will be back for more in the future.
Thank you to Tina Morris for making this special occasion an evening to remember.

We had our rehearsal dinner at deSha's a few weeks ago and were very happy with that choice! We thought it was relatively affordable and the food was great. Many people commented on how delicious the meal was. We thought the planning process was very smooth and Tina had great communication over the whole planning process. During the event, the staff were very kind and helpful. The only bad part was not being able to get our photos onto the monitor in the room, despite calling earlier to make sure we had the best method to hook up to it. Overall would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect for our bridal shower event. Tina is a caring and thorough coordinator. She communicated frequently and made sure that every single detail was perfect. The room was set up beautifully, and the food and service were perfect. We could relax and enjoy our guests and our bride because everything was so well run!

Everything was wonderful! The staff was amazing - polite, responsive to requests and moved easily though the crowd without disrupting conversations. They noticed when the restaurant sounds were elevating and closed the doors. The food was beyond any expectations we had. I have never had such hot, fresh and perfectly prepared food on a buffet line. We don't live in the area but I will definitely plan to return to dine and we purchased gift cards for thank you gifts to hosts of the groomsmen that live nearby. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter in law to be in the Polo room recently and it was excellent. The tables looked lovely, the staff was friendly, the food excellent the service was impeccable. We all had a wonderful time! Thank you Tina Morris for helping to execute such a seamless party. Would highly recommend hosting an event here.

Brides proceed with caution! My in laws handled all of our rehearsal dinner planning and my mother in law is the sweetest human being. DeSha's was so mean to my mother in law! The lady in charge of events bullied her and made fun of our dinner selections. There were so many things not properly communicated to us and when we had questions, we were met with hostility. Eventually my mother in law was able to come to an agreement with the restaurant, but I thought we should have walked away. The rehearsal dinner itself was quite nice and we were very happy with the private room. I would not recommend this place purely based on the unprofessionalism.

We use deSha's American Tavern in Cincinnati for my daughter in Law's bridal shower.
From the beginning the communication with the Event's manager Tina, was professional, helpful and prompt.
The weekend of the event Tina had to go out of town to visit family and I felt a little uneasy not having her there.
From the moment I walked in to set up the staff was on top of it, all. As soon as I asked for something it was there within minutes. They made recommendations and followed through.
There were three servers for a party of 40, the food was served exactly at the agreed time, beverages both alcoholic and not, were delivered promptly, cake was cut and served and finally the leftover food was neatly packaged for guest to take home on their way out.
It was a wonderful experience from the first communication to set up to the moment I walked out.

DeSha’s‘s is a wonderful place to host a rehearsal dinner. There were 25 of us and we were in the Polo room with use of the outside patio as well. The outside patio area was covered and had a gas fireplace to warm us. It accommodated all of us wonderfully. The bartenders and staff were amazing and we had a wonderful time. Tina, the event coordinator, promptly responded to all of our request. Thanks

We went with Desha’s for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. We do not live in Cincinnati so we thought doing a rehearsal dinner for 46 people might be a struggle! The 1st time I talked with Tina I knew it was going to be great!! She was awesome to work with over the phone and through emails. They offer many separate rooms to chose from. We were in the Nicholson Room and it was like we were the only people there. There were many options we had to chose from for the dinner and for the drinks. Everything was reasonably priced. The evening of the dinner we had excellent servers that were always making sure we had what we needed at all times. The food was EXCELLENT!! Our guests raved all weekend about the food. We all have a new restaurant to frequent!! I would highly recommend Desha’s!! We were over the top happy with everything. Thank you Desha’s for making the start of our wedding weekend perfect!! AMAZING! Great food, cool locations, super nice staff! The price was awesome for the amount and quality of food, private room, private bar tender, etc. HIGHLY recommend this place for an event! Tina was wonderful to work with to plan the event.

We booked the Nicholson Room for my daughter’s Bridal shower. Tina was wonderful with helping me plan for event... She gave me a lot of different options for the meal and was flexible with any extras we needed for the day. The wait staff was awesome... they could not have been any more accommodating or punctual with meal service and just there all throughout the event to answer any questions, especially flexible with last minute changes. The food is really good too!This is a wonderful spot for your next event! I would rebook in a heartbeat!

I had the honor of planning my sister and brother in laws rehearsal dinner at DeSha's. I worked with Tina throughout the process and she was incredibly helpful. Her knowledge of how these events are supposed to go was evident. She was quick to aid in decision making and I truly appreciated that at a time when I felt overwhelmed by decisions. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was outstanding! I highly recommend DeSha's for any event or a special dinner out.

For our son's wedding rehearsal dinner, we reserved both the Nicholson Room and the Rookwood Room with 43 guests in attendance. It was a lovely setting with ample space for our size group. Tina Morris, the Event Coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. She was most accommodating and efficient in every way. The servers, as well. We ordered plated dinners, although buffet options are available as well. Our dinners included the Sirloin Steak, Lemon Caper Salmon and Tuscan Chicken. ALL were delicious and cooked to perfection. The Nicholson Room accommodated all guests seating, and the Rookwood Room was used for the appetizer table and wine station. We recommend this venue to anyone, and will definitely consider this option for our future use as well.
