Designer Loft Bridal

tant Jamie did a fantastic job of picking out a variety of dresses to help me narrow down my style. Luckily for me, my favorite dress of the day happened to be one that Jamie herself had designed - a fact she did not mention to us until I had already decided it was a top contender (thankfully my group didn't say anything rude during our consultation!). She was so incredibly sweet and helpful as we essentially took her design and customized it into a dress that I absolutely adored, and would also easily convert into a shorter dress for the reception. And she offered all these changes while still staying within my original budget. The turnaround time from ordering the dress to receiving it in-store was much quicker than I expected, I think only a couple months? After receiving the base dress, there were still a lot of customizations that I wanted done, and the seamstresses at Designer Loft were all fantastic. Mine in particular, Nina (sp?), was able to execute my initial vision perfectly, and even suggested additional add-ons throughout the fitting process that I think really made the dress complete.

o fly out and try it on. As amazingly beautiful as the wedding dress was, it still needed alterations and that was not an easy task, but Natalia, the alteration master at Designer Loft Bridal managed to get it done perfectly.

cause I had family visiting from out of town, I booked a VIP bridal appointment. I am so happy I did — it was not cheap, but it worth it. Liz and her team welcomed me and my guests like we were old friends, and had champagne and appetizers waiting. Victoria was my stylist and did an awesome shop finding what I was looking for and making modifications as I went along to make sure that I was trying on the best dresses to fit my vision. Liz was also helping the entire time, and her knowledge of the dresses and designers was impressive. The VIP appointment included a professional photographer, which made me feel extra special and let me and my guests enjoy the experience and look back on the memories for years to come. Liz and Designer Loft was also very accommodating when I reached out the next day for further details on my favorite dress. If you’re thinking about visiting Designer Loft, don’t wait —book the appontment!

. Luckily, I had finally arrived at the right place! In my extensive search I had fallen in love early on with a dress + reception skirt combination that ultimately ended up being completely out of my budget. When I explained my situation and showed my initial vision to Jamie her immediate response was - "I can make that happen." Music to my ears. I worked with Jamie as she custom designed a sleek ceremony dress, and VERY fun feather reception skirt that was ultimately SO much better than the original out of budget version I thought I wanted. And this was all done within the initial budget I gave to the team. I felt like the ultimate version of my Bridal self on my big day, and my guests could not stop commenting on how much they loved my looks. Whether you think you know exactly what you want from a specific designer, or if you just have a vision like me, don't hesitate to visit Designer Loft - they can make it happen :)

ssociate Camila was super sweet, encouraging, and never rushed me. She was the one that pulled the dress that I ultimately said yes too - what they call “the magic dress”. She allowed me time to think on it but once ready, I called and she fit me in to try it on one more time and ultimately purchase it. It took 4 months for my dress to come in and then I was moved over to the alterations team. I had a total of 4 fittings and every time I went, progress from the last time was complete. The week before the wedding I was nervous about the fit due to weight loss and they squeezed me in last minute which I was so grateful for. When I went to pick up my dress, the seamstress wanted it perfect so she made a few last alterations on the spot as we waited - it was amazing! I got a French bustle for my dress and she showed my mom and MOH how to tie it up and it held all night long. They even included a loop so that I could carry my dress around my wrist as a fail safe which came in handy for portraits when I didn’t want my dress bustled just yet. Overall, just a truly wonderful experience with lovely, knowledgeable people!

the dress but hated the mesh netting at the neck and armpits and how revealing the dress was in the chest area. The designer refused to perform any alterations on the dress and I thought I was going to have to say goodbye to my dream dress until I met Virginia at Designer Loft. She promised me that Designer Loft's in-house alterations department would be able to remove the mesh netting without ruining the dress and suggested I order extra applique from the train of the dress to sew into the fabric around the chest area. Thanks to Virginia's experience and understanding of exactly what I wanted and Natasha's amazing alterations, I was able to get married in my dream dress (which is also now one of a kind)! I highly recommend Designer Loft to any bride!

y wedding venue, the theme / vibe of the wedding, and three adjectives I'd use to describe my dream dress. I had no idea what I wanted, so the whole process was very daunting, but she helped me find the perfect dress. You get to try on ~6 dresses in your first appointment, some you pick and some the team helps find for you. I ended up choosing the first one I tried on! I purchased my veil from Designer Loft as well. I also used the in-house tailor for alterations. I ended up needing 4 appointments plus the final fitting, and they didn't charge any extra for the additional sessions and adjustments. The whole team makes you feel supported and like their goal is to make you look and feel like a princess on your wedding day. I would recommend any brides looking for wedding dresses in NYC to visit Designer Loft!

e employees I interacted with in person and over the phone were always pleasant and helpful. My dress arrived earlier than expected and all alterations were complete in the perfect time frame. The seamstress that works through Designer Loft is absolutely incredible, and she transformed my dress in the exact ways I needed it to be altered/enhanced for my special day. I cannot recommend this store enough, especially if you live in NYC it is easily accessible in midtown when needing to go for multiple alteration appointments. Thank you Designer Loft!

Brie (like the cheese, her words!) made the experience comfortable and enjoyable for me and my group. She was not only extremely kind, but also very mindful of my budget and preferences. She helped me find the dress of my dreams and plan out some modifications I wanted made to it in alterations. I picked an Aire Barcelona full A-line gown with lots of glitter. My dress came in either late December 22 or early January 23 and I was swiftly scheduled for my first f fitting. I believe my seamstress’s name was Natasha, and she was excellent. I had 4 fittings for my dress and they were all quick and easy. My office is just a few steps away so it made for very easy 5 PM fittings during the process. I picked my dress up the week of my wedding and went on to have the best weekend of my life.

with me to ship my dress from NYC to Minneapolis in time for my big day! Thank you!

lled ~10-15 gowns for me to try on and at every turn, she had a new, brilliant idea for a different dress. I ultimately ended up finding a gown I adored and Jamie helped me compare it to other options and ultimately say "yes to the dress." I had visited 3 other bridal stores and none of them had the selection or level of client service that Designer Loft provided.

that meant myself but somehow she brought out a dress, which perfectly aligned with my vision and which is now the dress I chose as my wedding dress! This was also the first day of shopping for a dress and Audrey made it easy and fun! Great overall experience at Designer Loft and I cannot recommend Audrey enough!!!

ppointment was with Camila she was very attentive to what style I wanted and helped me pick out a nice assortment of dresses to try on. Camila was right there when I needed help but not in anyway pushy. The next day I decided last minute that I wanted to try one of the dresses on again and they were very accommodating and fit me in. When I arrived Jamie was there to help me try on the dress. She helped me make my decision by suggesting I visualize myself in the dress on my wedding day. She was so sweet and I again did not feel pushed into picking a dress. This makes a huge difference and made the experience more relaxing and fun. Overall my experience so far has been great and I have no doubt that alterations will go smoothly.

d from the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed by the team and my bridal consultant Michaela - who was determined to help me find my dream dress. I wanted to find something unique and different, but I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted - I just knew exactly what I DIDN’T want. Michaela listened, provided guidance, and was somehow able to get into my head and translate my vision into the dresses we pulled. I felt so seen and heard when we talked through what I was looking for! Designer Loft has a beautiful selection of dresses and I loved being able to sift through the racks to touch, feel and get a sense of the dress before trying it on. My mom, sister, and I were giddy combing the racks to look for dresses - and even more fun than the search was actually trying on the gowns! The environment of the shop and the energy of their team made trying on the dresses such a BLAST! Their team is just as excited as you are when trying on dresses, and it takes away the stress and anxiety of dress shopping. Michaela was so kind and so patient, and really made me feel at ease. Everyone does a fantastic job of making you feel so special while you try and find the dress of your dreams. And on my third dress I found mine! The dress was beyond perfect and it truly felt like it was made for me. It was an immediate YES! The excitement didn’t die down as Michaela and team helped me visualize and find custom additions to my dress. At no point did I feel pressured to go in a particular direction or another, and the team never said no or pushed me away from any ideas that I wanted to try. With the help of Jamie, Grace, and Liz we pieced together sleeves and a custom veil that completed the entire look - and literally brought me to tears! After seeing everything together, I truly felt like the entire look it was perfectly ME! After the final YES, I felt like I was floating. I will never be able to to express how thankful I am for their entire team, and I feel so grateful to have found my dress at Designer loft. The whole experience was a dream - and I cannot wait to wear the dress of my dreams on the day I marry the man of my dreams!

but also could envision what would look good on me. When I went to Designer Loft, they had enough of a variety of designers and styles to fit almost any taste, but not be overwhelming. Their price points also were reasonable, and had a comfortable range. I worked with Bri who showed me around the showroom and helped me pick out dresses that fit my desires. She gracefully transported them into the fitting room for me to try on. As I was heading in to try things on, the owner pulled me aside and showed me a gown that was not within my framework (it was strapless, which I didn't want) and suggested that I try it. Bri helped me with the try-on process, and we started with the owner's suggestion to rule it out quickly. When I put it on, I immediately knew that it was THE ONE. I felt instantly bridal, beautiful, and emotional. My mom, sister, and best friend were so shocked that it happened that fast, they were almost speechless. For the rest of the appointment, Bri led me through ruling out all the other gowns, and when we reached the conclusion that this was the one, she helped me to choose from a variety of accessories. I had so much fun playing with capes and veils! I never felt rushed or pressured in any way. After the gown was purchased, I used the in-house seamstress to do the alterations. I had 3 appointments because of how simple and form-fitting my gown was. Since I was coming from far away, I had to reschedule one appointment, and everyone at Designer Loft was very gracious about this. The seamstress did amazing work, for a price that I felt was way lower than the quality of the work she did. I asked for a piece of my dress to be saved to tie around my bouquet and that was done for me as well. Highly recommend.

t I was looking for and also pulled a "wild card" suggestion. I actually ended up falling in love with the wild card Jamie chose! She knows her stuff! I also very much appreciated that I did not feel pushed or rushed to make the purchase, and was given space and time to sleep on it and try things on across multiple days. The sales team at Designer Loft were all so kind and patient with me and all of my questions about the process of purchasing a wedding dress.

on a handful of bridal salon appointments and Designer Loft was the second on my list. The location was easy to find and luckily I was able to bring 3 guests (sister/MoH, my mom and soon to be MIL). The second I came in, Amy was an amazing host and ushered my group to the plush couches in the show room and then proceeded to have a 1:1 conversation with me about my wedding, my vision and what I'm looking for in a dress. Along with my sister, we searched through the racks while Amy pulled suggestions and encouraged me to pull whatever caught my eye. In the dressing room, Amy did a an amazing job clipping me in and just making me feel like a million bucks in every dress I tried on. She also kept me engaged asking how I felt, did I like how the dress flowed, what shoes I should consider and pulling veils to accessorize the whole look. I left Designer Loft with a couple top choices and hands down I did not have no where near such a helpful, fun experience at my other appointments like I did at DL. 👏🏻 Later that week, there was one dress that I could not stop thinking about and before I could text Amy to setup a follow-up appointment, she had already reached out! I was able to come in the next day and Amy helped me pull a few more dresses to try on, saving my favorite for last. When I put on my favorite, I just knew it was the one. Since my Mom was already back home in Georgia, Amy helped me FaceTime her and showed her how I moved in the dress and we just knew it was the one. I can't begin to express how happy I am to have to have found the amazing team at Designer Loft. Amy is a professional rockstar, she knows her wedding dresses and I really cannot wait to be back in 4-6 months to try on my dress! 🥳

to. She was so attentive and did such a great job helping me piece together different parts of my dream dress. I didn't catch the other woman's name (she seemed like to go-to person for fabric q's), but she was also SO helpful and kind when I came back in to try the dress on again. The salon was very clean, organized, and really cute. I highly recommend!

NG selection of Spanish dresses (Pronovias, Rosa Clara, etc) at an affordable price. Wellsely is incredibly kind and smart, and understands exactly what you're looking for. Highly recommend!!

right for me, and skillfully absorbed my comments and feedback to select dresses that brought me closer to my ultimate pick. She even started a text thread for us where we could share ideas in between appointments. She was professional, thorough, and always kept the mood light and fun! I would recommend this salon to any bride looking for a selection of elegant wedding gowns.

icative in making sure the dresses I wanted to try were ready for me. I worked with both Jamie and Brie for two different appointments. Jamie is just as great as every glowing review here says and Brie was absolutely amazing: pinned everything perfectly and was super knowledgeable, detail oriented, nice, and upbeat. While I made the difficult decision to go with another dress, my experience at Designer Loft was the best by far! Try to do a weekday if you can.

Brie, was super sweet and helpful! In fact, the entire store was so friendly!! I highly recommend coming here for bridal dress shopping.

inventory was wonderful and their stock of plus sized gowns was fabulous. All types of styles and prices, I can see that they really took the time to build their dress collection. My salesperson Jamie was so sweet and wonderful. I met the owner as well and she was just so kind and accommodating. You can tell they really care about their clients. Highly reccomend to anyone dress shopping in NYC. Great selection and great people!

went WAY out of her way to accommodate my dress requests. Designer loft also scheduled an additional appointment for me so I could show my mom the dress we bought in person because she lives out of state. The whole team went so above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress. I recommend this shop to ANYBODY dress shopping in NYC.

even arrived. I said yes! They were just as excited for me as I was. I felt at home here. Thanks so much for a perfect day!

d my dress (which she did!) I never once felt rushed like I did in other stores even when I wanted to try on the same dresses multiple times. They have a wide variety of styles and designers and I liked that I was able to browse the racks myself unlike other stores as well. I would highly recommend visiting!

n't feel like I was trying to be sold something. She was an incredible hype woman, and you can tell she really enjoyed her job and loved seeing a happy bride. I got my alterations done here as well, and the seamstress was AMAZING! Together, we completely redesigned my dress - added straps, cut off the train, lowered the back, etc. She completely understood my vision and helped turn it into a reality, and her work was flawless. I had a great experience at Designer Loft from start to finish!

oked at since she is also engaged. They’re great with getting you in and out of the dresses, cinching to fit, making the train and veil look right, and finding styles based on your taste. That was not really the case at the other places I went dress shopping. I felt pushed out of other shops with timelines (or once they could tell I didn’t love what they picked). Not here, they had the best selection without being overwhelming. So excited to get my dress in the next few months for alterations!

he second I walked in the door, they listened to what I wanted, helped me find it, went above and beyond to help me envision how different styles/designs would look, and made the ordering and measuring process so seamless. I haven't dealt with alternations yet but have no doubt they will be as fun as every other interaction with the Designer Loft team. Thanks, Designer Loft, for showing me how joyous wedding dress shopping can and should be!

ying on several designers, fabrics and styles and not finding “the” one, Liz and Katie guided me and helped me choose the PERFECT dress for me! My future mother-in-law who lives in N.J. accompanied me. My mom lives in L.A. and would have missed out on all the fun and excitement, but Liz and Katie were so understanding about me having her join us on Face Time for every appointment! They were warm, down to earth, and patient! They made every appointment so special! Natasha made the alteration process easy, and my gown fit flawlessly. I truly felt like a BRIDE!!! Cannot recommend this shop more! I’ll miss seeing Liz, Katie, Natasha and the entire staff at Designer Loft now that my wedding is over.

rue to yourself. My stylist made me feel right at home. The dresses are beautiful and I actually had a tough time choosing, but ultimately fell in love with one. Tailoring process was *seamless* (pun intended).. despite many COVID delays and many fittings, Designer Loft worked with me to get the dress perfect.

ation. Our families were invited to our appointment and we were offered Champagne and snacks with other refreshments. For the entire process we had all of the best! I worked with KT who was absolutely fantastic and so non-judgmental and warm. My wife worked with Carly who was the perfect fit for her and supported her throughout the whole stressful process. Liz worked with us along the way to help us get our amazing dresses on a tight timeline during COVID too. My mother herself was so grateful for the experience. They honored our preferences and our budget and were beyond everything that we needed for our special day and will always come fully recommended from us!

al shout out to Amy who was a joy to work with and had a key eye at finding gowns that were exactly what I was looking for. I’m so glad that I chose to visit this salon, because it resulted in finding my dream dress. I can’t wait to work with this lovely group of people leading up to my big day!!

e going to the store I created a profile on the website and was able to select my favorites for them to have ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, these had not been pulled to the side for me in advance as discussed when I called. That would of helped save some time and made feel they were prepared for my appointment. The first dress I ended up trying on was one I favorited and absolutely fell in love with! I said yes to the dress at Lotus Bridal!

the person in charge of that store was very helpful, polite, and friendly. My daughter said that the tuxedo was fitted me very well. Thank you very much for the rental service from your store, and definitely I will strongly recommend your store/service to my friends, snd relatives in the future.

commodating. KT was an absolute joy to work with, she had the best suggestions and made me feel absolutely beautiful. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great experience. So happy to have found the dress of my dreams.

to help me work with the designer to build my dream dress from a couple of different styles.

Dress. And I was in tears! I’m sold. Will be recommending this place to ALL brides to be!

ack when trying on various dresses. She was also lovely to work with, making the process, which can be overwhelming, very enjoyable! Finally, as a new NYC resident, I wasn't able to have friends or family present, and KT took care of face timing my Maid of Honor so she could be part of the experience. Highly would recommend Designer Loft!!

sion. There was also a huge selection and I wasn't shown anything that would double my budget, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend booking an appointment here and especially working with KT!

her a million times when leaving I would of (but covid). Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back and pick up my dress!

great eye and was able to pull things I wouldn’t think of trying but looked great in. The second time my consultant was Carly. She was great, she really knew about each designer and dress. During my appointment my family was VERY opinionated and I was getting stressed and overwhelmed. Carly picked up on this and helped me through it and refocused the appointment to how I felt. Both consultants gave me time and I never felt rushed or forced to make a decision. The dress selection was great and there were beautiful dresses at all price points. Designer Bridal Loft is really a must go to for NYC brides or those coming to the city to find their dress.
