he last minute preparations, the girls getting ready, then the boys (in the wine cellar), the stunning “first look” photos were exceptional; followed of course by the ceremony (we had to have two, one private and one for the guests); then the exceptional reception – followed by the late night festivities - Chris captured them all! His energy, creativity and suggestions were amazing! There are so many great shots from this wedding we cannot possibly narrow them down to the best! Our venue was a challenge; a private home on a very sloping lot with views of the CT River. Cocktail reception on the main level while the guests arrived, followed by the ceremony on the mid-level (some of the best shots where from Chris on the roof for a unique perspective!) followed by a third level up the hill for the super fun reception and evening fun. Every aspect was photographed with a beautiful eye to perfection. We made a great decision when hiring Chris and encourage you to do the same!

Within less than 24 hours after the wedding, Chris posted several beautiful pictures from the wedding, and then 2 weeks later I got the rest of them. Everything was super efficient, and I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. We actually booked him after meeting him for the first time. We really loved his work ethics and his dedication to his work. He and Erik came out to New Haven 6 months before the wedding to scope out potential places on Yale campus to shoot pictures. This was back in March, when Chris still recovering post ankle surgery and was on crutches, but he didn't want to postpone the trip and we walked close to an hour around Yale Campus. Talk about dedication! (Of course, his ankle is now completely healed.) While many of the other photographers that we had initially looked into had a 8 hour time limit for the day, Chris and Erik were with us for the whole entire day. Chris started the day taking pictures of me and my girls getting ready, of the dresses, and all the little details. Erik went off with my husband and his groomsmen for their photos. The two were constantly taking pictures even when we weren't posing for them. They were there documenting the day's big events and the little details. We gotten first look pictures, portraits of just us, with the bridal party, with family and friends, of the ceremony, of us partying and having fun with our guests at the reception. They didn't miss a thing! We also gotten some very cool unique pictures with fisheye lens that Erik was off shooting with, while Chris where taking the same shots with regular lens. Chris is also super timely with his work! He sent us a few select pictures the next day after the wedding so we can share on social media and completed the slide show and had a picture gallery online ready 4 weeks after the wedding. Our family can't stop praising him how fast he is and how beautiful the pictures are! Chris has tons of experience and works well with other vendors. He actually gave us recommendations for our DJ, who we loved as well. It definitely helpful that I ran our day's timeline with Chris beforehand and estimated how much time things were going to take when we did our walk through months prior. Everything was smooth sailing. We gotten to enjoy our day and now have lots of beautiful pictures for a lifetime. I can't emphasize enough how vital Chris was on our wedding day. There is no better photographer to work with and you can not be in better hands than with Chris!

He also makes sure there are plenty of candid photos as well to go along with the traditional shots (there were many times looking at the photos where I was like--he caught that?! I didn't even notice he was there). As a past bridesmaid, I know how awful some photo sessions can be with some temperamental photographers--but Chris was always fun and kept everyone happy and on time. We are simply thrilled with how the photos turned out and how the day ran (and so is everyone else in my family and friends group)!! You can't go wrong when you hire Chris since you know you'll get the best photos every time!

My wife and I were laid back in our approach to the photos and didn't have too many special requests for our wedding. We trusted Chris and the results were amazing. He captured every moment of our wedding day without us, for the most part, realizing he was there. One of the best aspects was Chris' availability. There was no time limit that we had to adhere to, Chris had blocked off the entire day for us. This meant showing up early to capture the bride and her sisters getting ready all the way up until the send off post the reception. During this time Chris was constantly taking pictures of us, our guests, the setup and the venues. He was especially easy to work with when it came to taking posed photos. His casual approach allowed us to be relaxed and he conveyed instructions in an easy to follow manner. Chris fit into our schedule and not the other way around. He was able to take all the shots we wanted while still allowing us the time to enjoy our cocktail hour. Chris was also very responsive to any questions or special requests that we made. His speed with getting us some photos within 2 days was great as we were dying to see some of the images. The slideshow that he created is something that I could watch on loop endlessly! Overall we could not have asked for a better experience with Chris and he truly made our wedding day special and ensured that we will have those memories for many years to come.

oached our photo sessions with a good combination of planning and flexibility. For our engagement session, he shot our photos at a location that was familiar to him. He had some specific locations in mind for shots. The same was true for our wedding session - he knew the venue and had some specific places where he wanted to get shots of us. At the same time, he wasn't too rigid about it. If he liked the way the light looked, or if he saw a shot he liked, he would get it. Lastly, he was timely in sending our photos back to us. All in all, we were highly satisfied with his customer service and the quality of his work. So if you're looking for a photographer, do yourself a favor and meet with him. You'll be glad you did!

My ceremony was in the early afternoon with the reception later in the evening, so I needed someone for the entire day. It was great to know that no matter how long it took, Chris could capture it all. I would also recommend requesting a second photographer. I am happy that we did. There is so much going on and the day goes by so fast, so it is great to have another person taking photos to remember the day.

He makes a slide show, and this is great since we did not go with a videographer. It was a wonderful way to capture the day. We just received the photos digitally and they are so beautiful. On the day of our engagement session, I saw a butterfly on a flower at the park where we were, and he actually got a picture of us with the butterfly centered in. He then met us at our venue where he got amazing photos of our beach ceremony, formals at sunset, and a huge family picture including both sides of the family. When we received our digital pictures we were surprised to see so many details that were a part of our wedding day which we would have missed if Chris wouldn't have captured them.
